You could hear giggles of a little girl and two boys as they ran throughout the echoing forest. The leaves crunched underneath their feet as they ran. What they didn't know or didn't care about was the person or thing that was watching them. Waiting for the perfect moment to approach and take one of them. But why should they pay attention to that, they were supposed to be kids minding their own business. Careless and free of what they had to eventually become as they got older. Kids were meant to be kids, enjoy life while it lasted, when they had no care in the world. When they didn't need to care about responsibilities of that adults had. They didn't need to worry yet in this small town things would soon change and people would be hopeless.

"Come on Scotty your so slow" the little girl giggled as she ran

But soon she didn't recognize where she was and she couldn't see her brother or closest friend. She could have sworn they were just behind her a moment ago. Suddenly she felt a hand grab her arm causing her to scream but soon everything went black. In that moment she was beyond stunned and scared all at the same time. The fears a parent wishes never to come true had on this fateful day. The boys rushed to the place where they heard her scream.

"Julia where are you this isn't funny" her brother shouted

"Come on Juls this is not fun, your scaring us" the best friend said

"JULIA" her brother shouted

Minutes passed which soon turned to an hour as it began to get dark. The two boys ran home both with tears in their eyes and fear on their faces.

"Mom mom is Julia here?" Her brother called out

"Scott that's not even close to funny" their mother said

"Mom she disappeared in the woods" Scott said

"Stop that isn't funny, Julia come out honey this game isn't funny to me" the mother said

"Mrs McCall she isn't hiding" the friend said

"Stiles where's my daughter, Scott where the hell is your sister?" The mom said

"She's gone" Scott said tears in his eyes

"Stiles call your dad now" the mom said as she rushed to call her late husband

Soon the whole town was in the woods or the majority of them. All while in the very shadows she hid watching or was forced to watch as they looked for her. She couldn't move, she couldn't scream all she could do is let the tears fall as the man dragged her away. That day was only the beginning of the worst days for the girl.

A while later

The towns people began to less and less look for the girl that had gone missing. The towns closest to them also stopped aiding in the searching for the girl. Scott was never the same nor was stiles or the McCall family. Scott and Julia's parents split up and it didn't end on good terms either. Scott was forced to continue with school and his life as was the family. The more time that passed the less people cared to find the girl or had less hope she was out there anymore. After so many months and weeks and days people began to go back to their usual routines. Of course as the first year hit Scott and his mom along with stiles had hope she might come home.

The first year went by slowly and painfully as Julia never returned. Each day Scott called out in the woods but he too was losing hope of finding his twin sister.

One month later
Julia's POV

It was dark the first day he brought me here, the first day I was thrown into the bolted-up room. It had a decent look to it, but nothing compared to home. I missed Scott, I missed mom and dad I also missed stiles very, very much. I missed my bed and my friends at school, I missed my average life and routine. Because here as the minutes went by and the days passed then the weeks which turned into a month. It wasn't any better than the first day I was taken it in fact only happened to get worse. From that day when he made me watch them search for me in the woods. The day he had taken me from my family and my home. It was a painful and torturous routine instead of my normal everyday routine.
