I sat on my phone with Skyler asleep in my arms. We were lying in bed around twelve in the morning. I sighed. I couldn't take it anymore! I texted Zach.

     "Hey, would you mind telling me about Skyler's previous relationships?" I asked curious.

     "Fine," He replied. I sighed and waited for him to type.

     "The first relationship was in her freshman year of high school. She was young and honestly stupid. She started going out with a guy older than her. She was dating him for a month when she came in the front door crying. Apparently... he r*ped her." Zach said. I stared at my phone in shock. I looked down at Sky. She looked so peaceful. I kissed her on the top of the head.

     "Hello?" He texted.

      "I'm just shocked. I never would've guessed that she's been through that." I replied.

      "Just wait, it gets worse..." He responded. I looked a Skyler and a tear ran down my cheek. 

      "Oh gosh," I said. He typed for a minute then sent responded.

      "In her sophomore year she fell in love again. She seemed so happy. We all thought he was so nice. But one day she sat us down and told us something. Apparently he had been abusing her physically, mentally, and s**sually." Zach said. I looked down at Skyler again and felt her suddenly grip me tighter. I looked at her and hugged her. 

      "I can't believe it..." I said after a couple minutes.

      "On the third relationship she was cautious. She told him what she'd been through and he helped her get better. After a few months of them dating she broke up with him suddenly. A month later she told us he also r*ped her," Zach said. 

       "Wow." I said. That's all I could say. 

       "You are the only other relationship I know of. If you hurt her I will kill you." Zach said. It was terrifying but I understood. 

      "I would never." I said. 

      "Good." He said.

      "I think I'm going to go to bed." I said after a minute.

      "Ok, good night." Zach said.

      "Good night." I replied. I turned off my phone and plugged it in. I cuddled her and fell asleep with a headache. I can't believe it...
