Chapter Thirteen 

 I really do care about you

3rd person pov 

she stayed, she decided to brave whatever was going to happen. she held taras hand as they walked over and near kirby. 

"hi I talked to Bailey. I've got everything set up. where are Mindy and Ethan?" kirby asked 

"they're five minutes behind us" danny said 

"let's get you all inside" kirby explained and they all nodded as they walked to the theater together. dakota held taras hand tightly 

"not you" sam told danny 

"what?" danny asked 

"don't trust anyone, remember? we don't know you. not really" sam asked and he sighed 

"you know me" he fought 

"you're not woodsboro. I'm sorry" she told him 

"its okay, its okay. i get it. be safe, okay? okay?" he asked 

"you too" sam told him and they walked off. when they got inside , they all looked around 

"I cleared the whole place before you got here. So this is the only way in or out. He steps in through the first door, both doors doors locked, automatically trapping him inside. We turn it into a kill box" kirby said 

"weapons?" sam asked 

"one gun and I hold onto it. I am the only one with the badge here and that's the way it's gonna be. We're safe here." kirby told them

"I'm gonna check in with Mindy. see if they're close" Sam said and she walked off with the others following. tara, Sam and dakota all removed their jackets as sam tried to call mindy but she didn't answer. 

dakota went downstairs with tara and they stood next to each other. what they didn't know was that something was happening upstairs wether they liked it or not and they didn't like it. 

"when was the last time anybody used this place?" tara asked dakota who looked around and shrugged with a smile on her face 

"that's actually a good question because there's literally dust" she said and she reached her hand out as tara did the same thing and their hands touched. they turned to each other and stared into the others eyes 

"Hey t?" dakota asked 

"yeah kota?" tara said 

"look if anything happens I just want you to know that I really do care about you. You're the best person I've ever known and I'm scared. I'm like really scared and I don't know what's gonna happen to us. I don't know if this killbox thing is going to work but I know that it might not and that scares me" dakota said and tara nodded as she grabbed her hand and looked at her 

"it scares me too but we have each other and I think that's good enough. you're the best person I've ever known to Dakota and if I ever lost you I don't know what I would do because I"she began to say it but dakota cut her off with a kiss. she knew what the girl was going to say and she didn't want her to say it. it scared her in a way to hear her say it especially right then. 

it was the last thing hannah had said to her before she died and she didn't want it to happen again so she kissed her to stop her. the kiss was soft, dakotas hand was on taras waist as she reached her hand up to dakota neck and held her closely. 

dakota lifted Tara up onto the counter as she wrapped her legs around her waist and held her close. The two of them continue to kiss, ignoring the world around them and everything that was going to happen in a few minutes. When they pulled away, Dakota leaned her forehead on Tara's and looked in her eyes. 

"help me down?" tara asked dakota and she nodded as she helped the girl down and she kissed her lips one, two, three more times before tara let out a scream and she fell  into dakota 

"t" dakota yelled and chad ran down as he began to attack the killer. 

"come on, guys we have to go" he told them and they nodded as they opened the door and there stood sam. 

"its kirby. shes the killer" sam stated 

"yeah no shit!" chad told her and they looked around for a way out but Dakota remembered some thing.

"that's locked come on" sam said 

"are we trapped?" chad asked 

"she did say that was the only way out of the theater did she not? She made the whole theater a box for us" dakota said and tara looked up 

"hey, what about that? there's an exit door" tara said and she pointed up 

"maybe leads to a roof or something" she told them 

"there's only one way to find out let's go" chad said 

"baileys on the way but"  sam began and ghostface jumped down attacking them and dakota jumped back as she looked at them. he hit the mannequins and chad yelled out 

"beheadings" making dakota chuckle before she remembered their situation and chad speared him 

"smile for the camera, motherfucker" chad said and they all off with each other as they got back to where tara was attacked and he began to attacked chad. they all began to hit him 

"go! go" chad yelled and they watched him get stabbed multiple times by two of them 

"run, go" he told them and they ran off seeing one jump out of one side and another jump out of the other. 

"ready? i need to be ready. ready?" sam asked and tara nodded with dakota 

"we're ready. come on motherfucker" she yelled and then they heard gunshots. they turned to see kirby 

"its okay" kirby said 

"stay the fuck back!" sam said 

"we know its you kirby" tara stated 

"one of them knocked me out" kirby tried 

"kirby, stop! get away from the girls! What are you doing? Did you kill Quinn? Did you kill my daughter?" he asked 

"jesus christ, whatever he's insane to you. Don't listen to him he's probably the killer. behind you!" she tried and he shot kirby. as the two ghostfaces walked up and stood behind sheriff bailey

there the ghostfaces were, standing in front of them and they all had one thought. 

who are these motherfuckers?
