appearance|
the Everett family have always bred tall women, usually averaging around 5"8. natalia herself having stopped growing at 5"9, a willowy yet regal figure and frame alike. having learned how to carry and posture herself later in life, sporting a gently upturned nose, high cheekbones and plump lips hiding her straight pearly whites. large doe eyes painting a picture of innocent beauty, full feathered brows perched above them. a lightly bronzed caramel complexion, as well as the lightest dusting of freckles residing to rest across her cheeks and the nimble bridge of her nose. a tousle of, sometimes rather unruly, chestnut locks which tumble down to just below her shoulder blades. a simplistic yet satisfying inked tattoo in simply just black is printed across the inside of her right wrist. Roman numerals, translating to read a date ; you can ask her it's significance if you feel brave enough.
she also has a thin white scar trailing across the back of her ankle and another starting from her tailbone to trail diagonally up across and around to her bottom rib.

personality|

strong.
persistent.
headstrong.
the words which stream into ones mind upon hearing the name 'natalia' or spotting a simple glance of her face or features. she seems to radiate an aura of mystery and power alike, not the greedy sort but the alluring type that causes curiosity as to how one so fair could obtain something so wonderfully wicked in its mass.
to those who threaten her or her business, or to possible future partners in her company she presents a front. a woman who is courageous, bold, intelligent, witty, wise and not afraid to do what it takes to get what she wants.
however, there's always been a softer side to her. ever since her youth, ever since she was young really, there's always remained a softer side. a more compassionate, gentle and approachable side. however, in such a savage and savvy business world those who are soft are torn apart.
yet for those who are indeed fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of who she is behind closed doors, would have to simply stop and pause in awe.
she's the sort who loves to huddle herself up in blankets on the couch as she watches tv shows, a bowl of warm microwaved popcorn in her lap all for herself as she scrolls through Netflix.
or to cuddle with her three dogs, or slip around the timber floor in fluffy socks.
again, not many get to see that side of her. lately, not even Natalie herself. losing sight of yourself, forgetting who you are and who you once were are frightening prospects indeed.

her trust can be a difficult thing to gain, but once you have it it is yours forever. her loyalty is boundless, is seems to be limitless and have no ends.

flaws|
she can be a rather intense workaholic, her work, her business that is is what saved her from the mess she'd fallen into in her younger years. in her youth that is. it's what's allowed her to not be so consumed by reality, by the lonely feeling that creeps about her empty apartment sometimes, some days and what makes her feel ultimately complete. filling the hole in her heart, temporarily that is.
she can't seem to trust people off the bat.
she can be a rather good busybee.
she won't hesitate to tell you what's on her mind, it's either that or she'll keep her lips shut.
she can be very mindful of other people and their feelings, often forgetting of her own.

strengths|
she's like a human lie detector for the most part, most of the time. she's had years of practice, learning to decode the liars and weeds in her life.
she can put her head down and seemingly work for hours.
3 glasses, of alcohol that is, is her limit. Is that a strength or a flaw . . .
running away from her problems, mainly her personal ones. especially relationships.

background|
" I waited long enough for my knight in shining armour , fairytales are for the naive "

natalie was born into a world which was cruel to her within her first breaths, for as she drew her first gulps of oxygen she was not aided by doctors nor coddled by cloth. rather, out in the cool crisp air of a winters night without a roof over her head. her parents had missed the cutoff for the shelter that night, only just by two heads really. yet nonetheless, she needed no pity nor sorrow nor soft looks from anyone. for could they say that they were born beneath the stars? greeted by the cold perhaps, but also by the beauty of Mother Nature herself; who seemed to also bless young Natalie.

as time passed on, her father obtained a job after his previous employer had been shut down for fraud and all of the employees ultimately fired. Natalie obtained the strongest bond between her parents, being one of three children, her family was her life. and so she devoted her life to caring for her family, by the age of thirteen she took the burden upon her shoulders to pursue a lifestyle many at her standing would only dream of and imagine to be impossible. her natural intelligence fuelled by her hopes, dreams, perseverance and outright stubbornness and stubborn nature really.
her social skills never had been the best, and such circumstances seemed to attract nasty people, nasty words and tormenters
she'd study at every chance she got, under the subway, in the public library, scrawling in her books underneath the flickering light of the lamppost outside of the home her parents managed to rent when she was twelve. seated on the damp cold concrete gutter as she squinted to work out the algebraic equations across her pages and paperwork.
she skipped a year due to how she thrived in her education, thrived in the classroom really. it wasn't the best school, ranked mediocre in the area, but she had to do what she had to do in order to make everything work just fine. and that she did. Graduating high school two months after she had just recently turned and had her sixteenth birthday.

she attended business school, something which placed her in a position of undoubtable debt. debt she promised to pay off, and did. from the tips and tricks she'd picked up along the way as well as the education that she had been informed with over her years, investing in stocks which assured her of future rises, rises which came along in due time and further fuelled her investments.
by the age of eighteen she ran her own small business, investing in stocks, with a total of twenty-three employees. having been able to buy her parents their own home at such a young and youthful age. at nineteen she had bought two run down hotels and had them fully renovated as well as a single massive plot of land on which she developed her own hotel. natalia devoted an entire hotel to shelter for those in need, for the homeless; wether it be temporary or permanent. a place in which they could receive the assistance they so direly needed, a program which she knew would have benefitted her and her family greatly if it were there in her younger years.
she has no plans on stopping, and her spreadsheets display and show just that.

opinions on courting ceremony|
The idea of 'courting' is undoubtably sweet, tradition is something she can most certainly respect.
one may wonder why someone so successful in both her business and personal endeavours would need something like the selection. in fact, such a question seemed to bob about in the empty night air as Natalie allowed herself a moments peace from her work, a question which caused her to scrunch her nose in deep yet silent thought.
the answer seemed rather easy though, a rather simplistic solution. she didn't need the exposure, her business may thrive a tad but it wasn't necessary. she didn't need the fame nor the fortune, fame never had been on her list nor caught her eye and she preferred earning her way through life and into her pocket.
but, being so awfully busy, didn't allow much time for a glance in the other direction. into the romantics of things, because most of the time she was at one of her hotels managing or in a board meeting or flying on a plane somewhere or other. the poor dear barely had time to rest her head on a pillow some nights, but one can't ignore the ache of loneliness for so long.
although she won't hurry after a man, nor fawn over him and beg for his affection and attention ; she wouldn't mind the mere idea of having someone on her arm. someone to whisper in her ear in her hard times and tell her 'she's doing a good job'. someone to hold her tight, someone with a good heart and a good mind, someone who wouldn't try and pry her from her work yet also wouldn't leave her to hunch over her desk all day. someone unique.
yet she can't help but think at times , that such wishes are hopeless ; for could a woman like her ever really find a man right out of some novel. perhaps.
