Nandini is standing on a stool, arranging some books on the upper shelf, she is really having tough time in cleaning the upper shelf because of her small height but still she is trying..

Nandini : "yeh mukti bhi Na..Kahi bhi books rakh deti hai..".. she scolded her..

She lost her balance and was about to meet the floor  but instead of falling down she land up in protective hard frame..

She opened her eyes in horror and find the person..And looking at the person she seems to be more than shocked..

Nandini : "Manik!" ..Her voice is filled with shock and surprise, obviously she didn't expected his arrival at all.

Manik : "Are you okay?"..His voice depicts the concern and affection for her which gives so many shivers to her soul.

She got lost in his dark chocolate brown eyes, how he is gawking, looking deep deep and so deep , seems like he can see through her and this mere thought shuddered her, things are so very complicated when he is around her.

She behaves all together differently , her heart reacts in some other zone, her minds do all the calculations and her body tremble under his gaze, it's so very difficult for her to register her own weird feelings, emotions ..

Manik : "Nandini!"..He called her softly and his voice made her come back to the reality..

Nandini : "umm! Put me down".. she hesitated a bit before speaking and he realized that he's still holding her in his arms ..Thus reluctantly he made her feet touch the floor and both of them witnessed an awkward moment, both started looking everywhere but each other..

Manik : "You are fine right?".. he asked after breaking the ice between them..She smiled and nodded..

Nandini : "thank you! You saved me!"..Her smile , her words created a havoc inside him but he still managed to keep himself calm..

• There was a time when I was the reason of your destruction and today here am standing just to be the reason of your salvation.. •

Nandini : "but how?.."..She stopped abruptly as they both heard a stern tone..

Mukti : "I have brought him here!"..She entered in the house and walked straight to them..

Nandini : "but..."..She tried to question but mukti already knew the question..

Mukti : "Angel! Actually he wanted you to sign his upcoming album khamoshiyan ..He was standing outside so I thought to make him comfortable here..".. she explained her deeply while Nandini looked surprised..

Nandini : "Album? .. That's news to me.. ".. she murmured while looking at him whereas he is standing all quiet.

Mukti : "Mr. Malhotra could you please enlighten her?.."..She shook him by his hand and now he realized that he is suppose to answer Nandini..

Manik : "umm! Han.. Woh.. Nhi.. Actually.. Han.. ummmm! ..Nahi.." .. he started stammering, his nervousness clearly visible on his face..

Dude! Relax! Don't mess up! ..His subconscious snapped back..

Mukti : "Mr. Malhotra!".. she called him as she noticed Nandini looking at him with confusion..

Manik : "Han! I came here for the album..".. he looked everywhere but her and this made Nandini smiled..

He doesn't know how to lie.. her subconscious giggled ..

Mukti : "Good. You both talk .. I'll join you later..".. she took a leave but not before passing a beautiful big smile to Manik..

Nandini : "So aap yahan album ke liye aaye ho.. right?"..She asked after Mukti left, but Manik seems to be lost , she called him again and now he looked at her..

Manik : "kaunsa album?".. he asked absentmindedly, which made her smirked..

Nandini : "I thought you came here for the album but seems like you really don't have much work..".. she mocked and he realized his mistake..

Get a grip on yourself, Manik! ..His subconscious warned him..

Manik : "nahi! Woh album ..Han! Khamoshiyan ..I want to talk about that..".. he tried to cover up but the damage has already done as till now Nandini realized that he came for anything but album..

Nandini : "okay! So shall we?".. she asked maintaining the seriousness in her voice..

Manik : "lead the way ma'am .."..He moved back to clear the path and smiled wholeheartedly,  she too revert back ..

Nandini : "so tell me about the album ..".. she came straight to the business as soon as they both settled down..

Manik! You are screwed! You don't know anything about this new album..

Manik : "Han..Woh album na..".. he tried to look for some apt words and she is enjoying his flushed face totally..

She pressed both her lips and placed her one finger on her lips and crossed both her legs ..She looked at him with utmost amusing expression..

Nandini : " Did anyone ever told you that you you've no manners of speaking a lie?"..She questioned him with a inward smile and her one question dried the blood in his veins..

• My lies are as much as the stars in the sky.. No matter how badly I try, I can never erase those white lie, which took away everything which was my.. •

Manik : "I wish it could be a truth!".. he said with a wry smile and this made her snatch her smirk, she looked at him with seriousness in her eyes..

Nandini : "Did I touched a wrong string?, I never intent to ...".. she became all serious and now he looked at her pale face, her concerned and guilt filled eyes..

Shit! Manik! Don't go there..

Manik : "ummm! No absolutely not, it's just why you felt that I was trying to lie?".. he instantly tried to divert her mind and it worked..

Nandini : "your eyes! They communicated".. and again her spell took away him , she looked at him with so much in her eyes that he can feel himself loosing in her charm..

Manik : "How easily you always read them..".. he said absentmindedly, totally lost in her..She looked at him questioningly..

Nandini : "Always?".. she picked the key word and he realized what he just blurt out..

Manik : "yea! I mean whenever we met ..".. he easily covered up and she wasn't seems convinced..

You are an idiot! The biggest fool on this planet Mr. Malhotra..

Just then Mukti arrived over there and looked at them , she smiled when she noticed Nandini all carefree ..

Mukti : "I really hope I took the right decision..".. she thought and started thinking about the past events..

2 hours ago..

Manik is sitting in his room, holding her picture close to his chest..tears dripping down from the corner of his eyes.. Mukti opened the door slowly and walked towards him..

He is sitting on the floor totally shattered, Mukti is looking at him with painful eyes..

Mukti : "Manik!".. she called him in the most soft tone, he opened his eyes and looked above to her..

Manik : "Mukti! ..Main ..Main ja he raha hoon..Thodi der mei.. I'll leave..".. he said while looking downwards and she looked at him with more pityful eyes..

She bent down and placed her hand on his shoulder, he looked at him with tearful eyes..

• Am broken in zillion piece, all I want a little peace.. •

Manik : "I love her mukti! I really love her.. it's impossible to live without her.. it's just impossible..".. his voice trail off..She hugged him tightly instantly and this made him shock but he too hugged her and cried his heart out..

He was craving for this warmth from several years, his wait ,his patience is finally meeting it's destiny and today Mukti provided him much needed solace..

Mukti : "am sorry Manik.. am really sorry..".. she too cried along with him.. he broke the hug and cupped her face, she is crying very badly..

Mukti : "I never noticed your pain..Kya Kuch nhi kaha Maine tumhe.. itni nafrat ki tumse ki us nafrat ke aage tumhara pyaar kabhi dekha he nhi.. or rather to say ..Kabhi dekhne ki koshish he nhi ki..".. she talked her heart out while holding his shoulder and he wiped off her tears with his hands ..He nodded a no to her..

Manik : "I deserve every bit of it mukti.. or even worse than that..Jo Kuch Maine kiya uski koi maafi nahi hai.."..He told her with his low voice and she looked at him with love ..

Mukti : "you've changed Manik.. why I never noticed this before?.. ".. she hugged him tightly and he too reciprocate with equal fervor..

Dhruv and Kajal both are looking at them from outside the door and they too hugged each other with immense happiness in their heart today..

After sometime ..

Mukti is holding Manik's hand sitting in the car, he looks nervous..

Mukti : "you wanted a chance right?, So here am giving you a chance to prove yourself , to prove that you really love her. Go to her Manik , she is in need of you, she still wants you , her heart , her soul still belongs to you.. " ..She assured him with a smile and he nodded, he stepped out of the car and walked straight into the house while she sat back in the car and prayed for their well-being..

Mukti : "I have seen only love in your eyes.. let's see what you'll do this time..You have earned this chance Manik".. she thought while looking at both of them, who are talking, smiling , giggling ..There is only peace on their respected faces..
