"Catra!" You yell as you chase after the feline. You see Catra had decided to come to the princess party as Scorpia's plus one. You and the others knew that they were up to something but you don't know what. You continue trying to run through the crowd to catch the feline as you hear the announcement of the first dance being played.
You curse under your breath as you realize that you didn't come with anyone as a date and it would be rude as to not dance. You try to get yourself out of the sea of dancers when you feel a body being being pressed against your back and a voice in your ear saying, "Wanna dance?"
You turn around and see the yellow and blue eyed cat that you were chasing. You were about to decline but you remember how you want Frosta to be apart of the princess alliance and you needed to fix your first impression, you and Adora both had commented on her age and it made her mad much to your dismay.
You nod with a raised eyebrow as Catra put a hand on your waist and pulls you closer.
"You look good tonight" she practically purrs in your ear her breath hot on your ear.
You even had to admit that you did look good, you H/C hair had been curled and style. You wore a F/C dress that complimented your eyes perfectly. You had a very natural look for make up with some nude lipstick to match. Overall you looked good.
"I don't know what you are up to Catra but you won't get away with this" you say back.
"Oh Y/N, always so confident. Always thought you were the best didn't you? Well news flash you're not". Catra says with a dull tone.
"I never thought I was better than anyone-" you try to say before Catra interrupts.
"You left me Y/N! It was always Catra and Y/N! But now you left for what?? Some princesses and a guy with a bow and arrow? Are you joking? I don't even know why Shadow Weaver
liked you so much. Maybe it would have been better if you left sooner" Catra practically hisses at you, her eyes narrow and they look in your eyes.
The dance stops right when Catra finishes, "I didn't wanna leave you Catra! You could come with me! You should understand that what the horde is doing is wrong! You knew Shadow Weaver was manipulating us! Come with us!" You beg, "Please, I care about you!"
Catra just looks at you as she rests a hand on her hip. "You could have me fooled. You replaced me." Catra turns around but turns her head to look somewhat at you, "And to think I ever thought you'd love me back."
Catra pounces away from you as you stand there not moving. You still feel the heat of where Catra had her hand on your hip and the feeling of her hot breath on your neck. But she was wrong, you did love her but you had to protect everyone else. You look at where Catra once stood and then head for the door just as the castle decides to start falling apart. You run and try to protect people from the falling ice as you see the tail of said feline as she slipped out the door. You would change her mind... hopefully.
