dana's pov

yesterday in third period, my teacher announced that we were having a new student in our class tomorrow. i wasn't really all that excited, considering i'm always picked for showing the new students around the high school.

today was the day that the new student was coming in to third period. i prepared myself for the tour that i took every time a new student was here. it was a girl. so i doubt it would be bad.

i walked to the principal's office, mr. gufflum. he was the principal of this school and also the guidance counselor. crazy how he could do two jobs at once, right?

anyways, i walked to the office, and when i got inside, there sat a girl sitting in one of the light blue wooden seats with a light blue cushion that covered the bottom of the chair.

when the girl turned around, i couldn't stop but stare. she was beautiful. she had nice cheekbones, and her freckles were over the bridge of her nose. and i could stare at her grassy green eyes for hours, maybe even forever. her hair was short, and it went down to her neck, and she had bangs.

"hello, dana. i brought you in here because we have a new student who is lost. dana, this is georgina ralph. georgina, this is dana houle. she will be taking a tour around the school today." mr. gufflum explained.

"hey." i told her. she gave a friendly wave at me and stared back at the principal.
