" Shouldn't I be the one asking what are you doing here...

your highness?"

"Well, I also study in this academy." He answered in a tone of matter-of-fact.

"Oh, I seriously didn't know that." I rolled my eyes and spoke sarcastically.

"You never fail to amuse me, now do you, Adela?" He said, smirking and getting closer and closer.

"I'm grateful you find me amusing, your highness" I said with no emotion on my face.

The silence grew for a moment. As I finally stared at him. Black hair as dark as the beautiful night sky, eyes as black and dense as the diamond carbonado, and those lips as soft and tender as rose-leave. Even I can't deny that he is insanely handsome. I hate to admit it but, he is the attractive main character in the novel.

He finally broke the silence-

" Did you transfer here perfectly?" He asked as he sat on the bench- I was sitting in earlier. I gave him a confused look but answered anyway.

"Yeah, I did. Maria is still organizing the room, I guess." I said, taking a seat beside him on the bench. He suddenly flinched and stiffened.

"Hey...aren't you too close right now?" He said with a cough. What the fuck is he talking about-? Then I looked at our position right now.

Ah, it was okay when Ari and I sat because she and I don't take up much space but, considering he has all this muscle from god knows where? His and my shoulder are touching with our arms brushing against each other.

I'm not uncomfortable with this much skinship since I basically lived in the 21st generation. As it's not that generation I get but, is he being-

"Are you being shy now?" I asked with a chuckle and, he quickly turned his head and, you can clearly notice the red face he was getting. I attempted to repress my laugh.

" Wha- what are you saying? Me and shy?" He said, stuttering. Damn, I must have hurt his ego or something. He eventually calmed down and, I still couldn't stop laughing at the thought of his red face.

"Can you stop laughing its not even that funny?" He said, being annoyed.

Oh my god, haha. I continued to laugh and, after some minutes, I also calmed down and thought if I do more than that will he be more flustered?

With that, I did something that I didn't know will leave this much effect on him.

"Edward-"

Third-person pov

Adela slowly whispered his name to which the name that belonged to was surprised. He stared at her with a shocked and bewildered expression. She gently reached her hand to his face and bringing her face close to him. They were only a few inches from each other faces. She spoke in her luscious like voice to him for the first time and said-

"You know- if I knew you would be this cute while being flustered from just a touch...I would have done much more than this"

She said, caressing his face slightly with her fingertips. The moon was exceptionally bright today that- she can even see what expression he was making. She brought her lips close to his ear and whispered-

"I don't want to go in my room tonight but, since we have class tomorrow, Goodnight, Edward." and with that, she casually stood up and started walking back but swiftly turned around and stated

"Just joking, you should look at your face in the mirror when you get back."She said smugly with a teasing smile on her face like what she did just now didn't affect her much but-

she knew better than anyone else how much it affected her.

She turned back and started walking away again, with her heart beating each moment she took a step.

But what about the person to who she said all those things?He? He was fucked up.

Edward's pov

She slowly whispered my name, the name 'Edward' that no one else other than my family spoke in. That name that moved out of her tongue felt suddenly so special for no reason. I looked at her with an expression of shock and bewilderment.

She gently reached her hand, touching my face while her fingertips brushed against my cheek and brought her face close to mine that it was only inches apart. I shivered and, my heart started racing.

The moon was exceptionally bright today since I can see what expression she was making. It looked like it was full of lust and, she then spoke in her luscious voice that she never utter to me.

The moment she said those lines, my heart stopped beating for a second, and I could feel my face become red.

She then started caressing my face with her small and delicate fingertips and, I calmed down. Her caressing felt so loving that for a moment, I wished it didn't stop but, it did and, she brought her lips close to my ear.

I could feel her lips brushing my ear and hear her hot breath on my ear now. She then whispered the lines that made my heart race so much that I thought it will jump out right now and, it also hurt so much though in, a pleasant way.

At that moment, I realized what I felt towards her was not curiosity or interest or her amusing nature. It was much deeper than that.

She then casually stood up and started walking away. But, before I could reach her, she swiftly turned around and stated some words smugly and left with a smirk.

I joined my fingers together, touching my hair slightly while keeping my head hung low looking at the ground.

I'm fucked up.

Hey, how are you all? Today's chapter is short but, in 2 hours, I could write only this much. I wasn't supposed to update this week since I didn't even start writing the chapter lol.

Anyway, this week was my birthday so I forgot to write the chapter-
