"So what brings you here?" Dad said pouring tea with a small smile

"Ah I received letters inviting me" I said taking the cup of tea from him.

"Dad! Nonetheless, I didn't want to go since there were so many" I stated.

"Ah then it's okay you don't have to go if you don't want to and I'm sure they can't be more powerful than you? What's the matter then?" Dad asked and sipped his tea. If that were the matter then it will have been a lot easier.

"But" I started again, now looking, dad straight into the eyes. " I received three letters from important people".

"Oh, and who could they be?" Dad was almost sarcastic yet serious. It was like he was challenging me to say the people who are more important than me. I'm sure the names I'm about a say will surprise him. Dad, I hope you also don't spit out your tea

"Aria Mcallops from the Mcallops family, Lucas Eckart from the Eckart family..." As I took a deep breath before continuing but dad beat me to it

"Oh really? Well, it's expected from Aria Mcallops since you guys talked during the ball but why that Lucas?" Dad said making a face as if he was disgusted.

"How dare he propose to meet him alone?" I wished I had as confidence as him to say that in front of Lucas.

"Well I was about to accept Lady Aria invitation since she was really cool- I mean kind and wanted us to chat but when I saw Sir Lucas letter i couldn't say no because since he wanted a book recommendation and he is also a childhood friend at that" I said in one breath.

" Book recommendation he must be crazy isn't he?" Dad stated with keen eyes and a face that says 'what nonsense'.Haha, he makes the funniest faces.

" Haha, maybe" I replied while chuckling.

"What about the other one" Dad asked.

"What other one?" I answered confused. My dad looked dead at me with a face saying ' are you serious' but like seriously how does even makes those faces

"The other letter you got beside those two" my dad shook his face while saying that and then it hit me that I didn't say the most important

"Ah sorry and It was from his highness the crown prince" I said finally finishing my tea. Really how many cups of tea did I even have today? But why isn't dad talking... I looked at him and he had a blank face.

A minute passed by but there was nothing but silence. Shortly I thought of speaking up

"Dad are you here? Listening to me?" I asked as I shooked my hand in front of him

"So what you are telling me that the crown of this empire sent to an invitation to the imperial palace?" My dad questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Well yeah, that's what the letter said?" I replied

" Did he tell you the reason?" Dad again asked. How the fuck do I tell him, that bastard is blackmailing me if he knew that I'm sure he would go to the imperil place and kill the crown prince but that's not really a bad idea is it?

"Well-um no he didn't give a specific reason?" I don't sound convincing at all.

"Ah, really that guy sure got guts I tell you that. How dare he approach you? I should go to the imperial palace and see that bastard myself" I swear to god. Dad will be ending up going to prison if anyone hears him not only called the emperor an idiot but even his son.

" Dad no wait... I think it unnecessary and you can't turn an imperial invitation down without a reason" I said almost standing since he was ready to leave.

"Ah, you don't need to worry about that... I know the imperial court well. If I ask them to send it right now they will bring it." He said smiling??? No, wait If I turn that invitation down he will definitely tell Lucas. Fuck think of something. Right

"Here. In the Vastelline Estate. All three of them" I said smiling and dad looked at me with a confused face.

And that's how we ended up here. Though he did permit me to invite them. He was still displeased that two boys will be coming here. Suddenly I was brought into reality and then there was a teacup place in front of me. I looked up from the teacup and three people were sitting there. Lady Aria sipping her tea while her eyes closed. Sir Lucas looking at the books beside him. The crown prince drinking his tea with his legs crossed looking at me. Shit. Can I seriously survive this?

Hello, cuties. How are you? Well, I wanna ask you something.Should finish this story in 20, 25, or 30 chapters. I'm not sure if I can finish the story by 20 chapters then I have to move things fast and write a lot in one chapter. I originally wanted to end it on 30 chapters but it seems long... so what do you guys think?
