Warning: this book will be very cliche, if you aren't into that then this isn't the book for you. Also there's lots of grammar mistakes. Just a heads up 

"Kyle hurry up or we will be late to school again." I heard Sky yell, I really don't want to get up. Who wants to get up to go to school. Not me.

Sky is my best friend, she's been my friend for 2 years. She is 5 ft and has long brown hair. She has big brown beautiful eyes, and is beautiful. She thinks she's ugly but she's not.

"Ugh I don't want to get up, 5 more minutes." I mumbled I then heard her walk into my room.

"Kyle get up now, my mom is waiting we're leaving in 20 minutes with or without you I don't want to be late." She said. Once she left, I got up.

We are in our first year of high school.  We met on the day I first came to middle school I saw her talking to the 'popular' kids in middle school. When I actually met her she was running and I bumped into her. At first she wouldn't tell me why she was running but she eventually told me they bullied her. They also bullied me because I hanged out with Sky, which I did not mind because I love hanging out with her. We are best friends but I like her more than that but she doesn't know. I got dressed and went downstairs and I saw her looking at her homework making sure if she did everything. She looked up and gave me a small smile.

"You good? You seem a bit nervous?" She asked me. I didn't answer her. "Kyle, I asked you something. Don't ignore me."

"I am fine Sky. I just want them to leave us alone" I said to her after a few seconds later. I heard her sigh

"Kyle, you know there is nothing we can do to stop them. We just have to learn to ignore them." She was right. "Well let's go or we will be late again" She said.

"OK let's go." I replied back I got the house keys and we both went to her moms car. Sky's mother usually takes me to school since my parents are always working. 

"Don't worry Kyle everything will be okay we are in this together." She said and she was right.

"I know but I don't like it when they hurt us, especially you" I said very quietly. I don't know if her mother knows, and if she did it doesn't look like she cares.

"Kyle! Just stop it alright. I told you to just ignore it. If you hate it so much, why don't you fucking man up and defend yourself?" I was shocked but not surprised she would say something like that. But she was right, she was always right. They bully us because I can't defend myself. 

"Sorry to interrupt your little talk but we're at school. Hurry along, I need to get to work" Skys mother wasn't looking at us but at her phone. Sky rolled her eyes and got out. I did the same and as soon as I closed the door Skys mother drove off. 

"That bitch needs to look where she is driving, she could have hurt you." I looked at her, she had a face of regret. "I am sorry for what I said, I did not mean to hurt you." What she said did hurt me but I do need to be able to defend myself. Before I could answer her, a voice I am very familiar voice butted in. 

"Oh would you look who it is, the two stupid nerds." Said Rachel in her annoying voice.

" Is 'stupid nerd' the best you got?" Sky said in an annoyed voice.

"Shut your mouth nerd or things will be bad for your little friend here." Logan said. Sky glared at him. She was about to speak, but Logan spoke first. "And for you bitch you better not talk back like Sky because things will go much much more worse." He said I just nodded. I know I'm weak, that's probably why they bully me. They always treat me the worse that's why Sky doesn't complain or anything.

"Come on let's go or we will be more late than we already are." Sky said and started to walk towards the school. She just walked away from Logan and Rachel. 

All classes were boring I didn't get bothered much today for some unknown reason. I don't know what happened with Sky, she went to the restroom and she never came to first period . I decided to go wait for her at the cafeteria, as I was walking I saw her with Logan and Rachael near the art room. I decided to eavesdrop, I know it's bad but she's my best friend.

"Listen Sky, I am not asking you, I am telling you so  you will do as we say." I heard Logan say.

"No. Just because we were friends does not mean I will listen to anything you say." I barley heard her. Wait!! She was friends with them and never told me I thought she told me everything. "Can't you two just leave me and my friend alone, why are you two so obsessed with us?" 

"You really think we care about you two? Ha, we don't, we just need someone to help us" Rachel said and then walked away. When they left she looked around and left. I went running after her. I decided to play like nothing happened.

"Sky where were you I was looking for you?" I asked, I wanted to see if she would lie to me.
"I was at the restroom." She said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Why so many questions?"

"Sorry, it's just that you weren't here during first period." I heard Sky sigh a bit but she did not talk anymore and kept walking towards the cafeteria.

I haven't updated this book since last year. I have decided to go through the chapters I have published so far and revise them to make them a bit better. For this chapter I did change a lot of things. I have been debating whether to finish writing this or not. As you can see, Sky is a bit frustrating and probably will be for most of the book but there will be character development. That is what I want for all of my characters in the book.
