Waking up on one fine cold winter morning I gazed outside from my balcony just outside my bed room with a cup of coffee in my hand. The scenery was beautiful the sun rise through the hills far in the horizon.
Staring the rising sun i thought to myself had been so long since then have I been alone for so long.
Only a year has passed since she left me but it feels like a decade has passed without her, it's just like yesterday we were together.

6 years ago.....

It was the day before the first day of my high school, "It's no big deal for him to enter into one of the best known school here" commented my mom to our neighbours proudly. I was just looking at her embarrassed but I loved my mom a lot to.
Joining the best high school wasn't the only shock to my parent but I got myself a beautiful girlfriend. It was not long before our final exams began I  proposed a classmate of mine who was the crush of many other guys, but to everyone's surprise she accepted reveling she had a crush on me to.
Yes it's a shocker to everyone at that time including my folks, I can't blame them for that as I was that kind of guy. I'm quiet nerdy, I love anime, I love to believe in true love and I never had to much friend except few. I'm a typical otaku who is lonely in life but ending up with a girl who has so much in common with me it's a dream come true.
Honestly the fact I got into one of the best high schools was her help in my studies. We became great couple and studied and watched anime together but not great at romantic stuff as we r just kids.
We even planned to go to exact same high school.

It was not long before we started our high school together and we started concentrating on all kind of study stuff, still on high school on her first day she became the crush of many students but no one bothered to ask her out as she introduced me to everyone as her boy friend. I broke the hearts of many guys but I made some friends just because of her in my life.
And just like that a year had passed in high school as we were about to enter into second year. This year was the toughest and most important so studies was the only thing everyone's mind. It was difficult but I could manage anything with her beside me. I always asked myself if this is true love and we also believed it's true love. We studied hard and gave it all that year and ended up ranking top in our school.
Then in a blink of an eye it was time to decide which college we should enter. And all was decide, we even planned to get married after finishing our studies and hence began our college life.
I started taking part time job to save some money as we started dating a lot, we went out on picnic on week ends with our friends.
Time flies when you're having fun and so did my 3 years of college.
It was Sunday and we were having a party somewhere on country side for finishing our 3 year in college. I was driving alone in my mom's car. I was just crossing a signal I don't remember what happened but next thing I remember I woke up in a hospital and my mom near my crying.
I was told by my doctor that I had an accident and I was sent into coma for one year and the doctor asked me to visit the hospital every week for checkup after discharging from hospital.
It seems that my hippocampus in the brain got hurt and I have got little memory problems, but that's didn't stop me from thinking about her. I asked my mom and my best friend what happened to her but everyone stood silent. The reason for their silence was not clear at beginning but my friend explained to me that most of my other friend and her thought I was dead, only mom and my best friend were the one who knew about my coma.
I wanted to meet her so bad and tell her I was alive but mom stopped me saying that her parents made her marry another boy who was their family friend 3 moths ago. The fact I lost her broke my heart and I fainted as I couldn't take the pain in my heart.
Later that week I was discharged from hospital and I got a letter to continue my 4th year in college from my university as I missed the whole year. Me and my family decided I should complete my degree and go on a decent job.
I moved out of my folks house and rented a flat near the college and hospital. It was cheap and affordable form the money of my part time job. My college was from 9 am to 2 pm so I had plenty of time to work and make money.

Present...

Thinking about my past hurts my head as some of memory is lost. I got ready and left for my classes then as the class ended I started going to work in a restaurant as cook or server.  I took up any job I got for my rent money.

To me it was the continuation of my life after 1 year gap but I never thought it's gonna be a start of a new life for me.
