Princess followed me and asked "Alex why did you lie to her".

"Princess Madeline is not well and if I tell her that we didn't get the answer she might not feel good and to encourage her I said we did. But we are not as clueless as we were earlier at least we got a hint that there is some evil that we have to get rid of so as to eliminate the threat of Demon King. So I would say we got what we were seeking" I answered hopefully.

She nodded her head and then she asked "Alex how will we find out who that person is?"

To this question of her I had no answer so I said "Trust me Princess I am clueless but soon I will have answer to it. Till then I will guard your chambers".

Clara's POV

I was back to my place and was about to start my regular magic practice when I felt that someone stood behind me.  I smiled and turned and said " What brings Queen Aria or should I say Esperanza, princess of  Elves my once best friend but no more".

"Clara I didn't come here to discuss our past" She said.

I cut her off and said "Then why did you made your presence here the great fairy Queen".

She ignored my jest and asked "I want to ask you why you didn't give her answers she was seeking. You know I can't reach her now but still you didn't  gave her answers. You know she is danger then why ? "

"Well what do you expect of a witch, Fairy Queen?" I said smiling.

"Clara, please don't use our differences as a means to endanger her. You could have told her about the impending danger. You could have told her but you didn't. Why?" She asked again.

"You seem desperate Aria like how you were when you charmed me to marry that demon" I said.

"Clara let's not discuss this" She said.

"Well if you don't want to discuss that then I won't be able to answer you question Fairy Queen" I replied sarcastically.

"Really Clara? " She said.

"Why do you want to avoid past Aria? You know why because in your heart you know what you did was wrong. You used my innocence and pushed me to the present where I am--- a person in the middle of dark and light" I yelled at her.

"Clara I know what I did was wrong on many levels but I had to do it" She replied.

"Oh yes it had to be done so you can be raised to the level of being a fairy queen" I said angrily.

"Clara please I don't want to discuss our past because I know you won't understand my reasons" She said.

"Then you can leave Queen Aria for I have no words or need to speak to you" I said and turned my back to her.

"Clara you know we were once best friends and you could have helped my daughter for the sake of old times" She said.

Her voice made my body to go stiff and I turned and said "I know we were best friends and I could have told her everything but you know what I didn't because we are no more friends".

"Don't be selfish Clara . Can't you put our differences aside and think about how my daughter is in danger " She said.

"Danger? All you care about is your daughter being in danger huh?? What about my son Aria tell me what about my son Emmanuel who is living his life without his mate? What about him?" I asked her "You talk about me being selfish at least I am not using your daughter for my personal agenda I did it for my son. I want my son to be happy" I said and tears fell from my eyes.

"Clara you know if he marries my daughter and mates her he will become the most powerful being and no one will be able to stop him and dark forces will rule the world. He will engulf her purity and turn her black and I will not let that happen at any cost" She said.

" All you say is he will engulf her purity and turn her black but do you really know that is what going to happen. Why can't it be that her purity brings in light in my son and my son becomes good huh?? why can't my son be good?" I questioned her.

"You know that's not possible. I gave him a chance already but he ruined it by making my land bloody and not anyone's blood my own daughter's blood so don't tell me I didn't gave him chance. Don't tell me that all my words are mere imaginations and there will be any good coming out of your son. Because Clara he is not good and both you and I know it" She said and disappeared.

As she left I broke down in tears thinking of my past.

Emmanuel's POV

  I watched her going pale and her face turn ashen when I revealed my identity. I felt waves of fear and in her distressed state she yelled for a man's name. It stabbed my hurt to know that she felt threatened of me and she who was everything for me and I wanted to be her everything but she was afraid of me. She called for someone who is not me. I could not stop myself from saying "I am in front of you yet you seek another man. I am going for now love. I will come again when you have composed yourself. But soon I will make sure it is me you seek not anyone else".  

I felt myself back in my Crown room seated with globe infront of me. I touched it and saw her sitting in Oracle's Room. When I looked at Oracle I felt it was not her but then I wanted to focus on what my beloved was saying.

"Today Demon King made his presence in front of me. I want to know how" She asked.

"Oh my... Did he? I am sorry I cannot help you much on that but I know who will" Oracle said.

Then I heard Oracle asking my love "Sweet just put your one hand on the globe and take my other".

My love did as told and then Oracle chanted "Mother of all witches I seek you for guidance".

She kept chanting and soon there was wind blowing fiercely and the weather changed completely and it started raining and thundering outside. Princess looked at  the warrior as if asking for support and I felt myself getting angry.

Then suddenly Oracle went unconscious and then her globe blazed white and when she lift her head and I could not see the face of the woman it was just a bright light, all I saw were her lips.

"Who are you ??Oracle? Where is Oracle Madeline" Warrior Alex asked raising his sword at the unknown woman.

"Do not fear for her my child" I heard her reply "My name is Clara and Oracle Madeline summoned me here so I feel it must be very important or else she would not have".

I clenched my jaw to know that it was the same witch who made me beg and she was the same one who gave me way to break the last protection spell and now she was all ready to spill my secrets.

"So you are the one she talked about" Alex asked her suspiciously.

"Ok Royal Guardian... No need to be suspicious. Let's get down to the purpose I was summoned here shall we?" She replied sarcastically.

"Yes We asked Madeline for answers and she called you because she believed the questions we seek answers to she cannot help us but she knew someone who will and then here you are" My love's voice sang in reply.

"Ah... my lovely Princess. I was wondering how you would look this time. You are becoming more and more beautiful every time I see you" She said. I could feel she was stalling the talk and my encounter with her made me feel she will not give straight answers.

I smiled when my love blushed but again her blush turned into frown when she asked "Did we met before".

"Oh dear many times, but now is not the time for memories so what is it that you seek from me" Clara replied. I was wondering what she meant by that.

Then my sweetheart asked in her serious voice"Today Demon King made his presence even though my fairy has forbidden any supernaturals from entering. I have no idea how he did that?"

So she was curious how I made my appearance and again I saw Clara's lips smiling and I knew it was the one she gave me and said "Well it was inevitable to happen, for you two were meant to meet" .

"What do you mean?" My love asked confused.

For a moment Clara paused but then replied "He my dear is the ancient soul who had been lonely for long time but then he was awarded with someone who would fill the void in his heart, his mate. But he messed up and now he seeks her".

"If he seeks her then why does he want with me?" Princess asked curiously.

My innocent love doesn't even understand that I just don't want her but need her.

"He just doesn't want you... You are the one he seek my dear for you are his mate.. the one who filled the void in his lonely life. You my dear are an old soul and were given to him as his mate" Clara replied.

"What?? I am his mate.. How?? How is that possible? " My love looked aghast at the answer and it pained me to know she thought I was not worthy.

"You are his mate and no one can deny that but since he messed up, you became precious to someone else too, who is older than you but not as ancient as him" Clara said.

When she finished the last part I punched the table infront of me and I questioned how could she be with someone else when she is mine.  

"Who is he?" My love asked curiosity dancing in her eyes. Her blue eyes hopeful that she will know the answer and it broke my heart million times to see her getting excited because of another man.

"Who my dear?" Clara asked again stalling. Like my love I was also waiting for the answer so I can remove the threat to my love and my right.

"The one who I became precious to" Words uttered from my sweetheart's lips enough to cause rage in me.

Clara seemed amused at her question and replied "Sweety he can be anywhere all you have to do is open your eyes. But Demon King will not let you slip away".

For last part of the sentence I liked Clara.

"But he is dark, evil. How can he want me and why was I given to him" My love asked confused. Her expression would have amused me but her words hurt me. She thought I was not good and she didn't want me.

I heard Clara laughing while saying "Yes he is dark evil and you are light, kind-hearted and compassionate. That is why you are his mate you complement him. You create a balance of nature and that is why you are his mate".

"But if I complement him then why do I seek someone else" My beloved asked. Even I was wondering the same when Clara replied "Even though you complement him and complete him. He does not complete you. There is someone else who does".

"Can I know who he is?" Princess asked.

"I cannot answer it . But I will say you may not know but your soul does and I cannot tell you who" Clara replied.

Then Alex suddenly interfered asking "Clara I think we are diverting from the main topic. We called you here not to know who her soul mate is ? But to know how Demon King made his presence inside the protection spell".

Clara replied "Hmm.. Always the smart one. Well he did not make his presence but he sent his shadow here. For he cannot make his presence, but he can make his shadow travel if there is already an evil present inside here".

"Evil inside here.. I don't think. I guess you are wrong" My sweetheart said not believing Clara's answer.

Then I heard Clara say "If I am then ask Alex".

I got confused how Alex knew about my source of evil in the kingdom.

"Alex ?? what does he know about it" Princess asked looking at Alex and Clara.

Alex looked shocked but then asked "I am not sure whatever you mean Clara. But what I want you to do is stop playing around and answer our questions".

Clara's lips turned tight and then she said "Alex try remembering it fast or Princess will not be long in this palace".

Alex immediately stiffened at her words "But If that is the thing then why don't you tell us when you know it. I am sure you can help us".

Poor soul thought he could keep my love away from me. How can he, he is just a mortal and I can kill him whenever I feel like.

"No I can not but I can guide you. Find the evil soul and get rid of it else she will be gone before you realise it" Clara replied.

She gave answer but it was not straight and I felt as if she was giving me chance to be with my love. But then the notion of kindness flew out of window when I remembered my encounter with her.
