Emmanuel's POV

"My King .. he has prepared the mating ceremony and it would gives a good opening to attack and destroy his whole clan without a trace it even existed" he replied.

This was why Vortex was my commandant he knew I don't leave my enemies I just wipe them out.

I knew what I have to do now that I know where she is. I took my most brutal soldiers and made my way towards Eternal Blood forest. I made me and my soldiers invisible. We were flying in our speed when I felt those bloody broods were flying near us. The could smell us, but could not see us. There was commotion in the sky amongst them but they could do nothing to catch us. I had mastered this ability to the extent even when I would be near them they could not feel it.

All the bloody broods made noise and I saw number of Vampire soldiers coming out of their hiding were ready to attack the intruders. Unfortunately for them we we invisible. Then one among them said "Soldiers seems like we have intruders... and they are not ordinary but very powerful.. use your senses like how I have taught you... use your skills lest we have no claims to be vampire warriors.

I looked at the man and dear me he was a young vampire who was just 40 years so young yet so determined... I knew he didn't have any powers like how the old ones have but the army he was handling was not young it was mix of old and new vampires but he was the youngest and yet he led the army. It got me curious that Vampires surely have lost their minds if they have any... they think a newbie can handle demons?? ?

My demons who are ferocious... my demons.. who are the darkness in itself... it's time for a lesson to these filthy creatures...

I used my powers and soon the army was falling out my demons pulling out their hearts or intestine whatever they feel they could lay their hands on... and in the last there was only this young Vampire who was left and it was amazing he held himself with lot of pride and yes his powerful strokes to avoid the invisible enemies.. I made my presence known with my army behind.. I expected him to show fear... but all I saw was confidence... he was confident to face us ... The DARK DEMONS and moreover the DARK KING and he was not cowering in fear..

He smiled when he saw me look at him with intense eyes.

"You amaze me young vampire" I said

"And you disgust me Demon King" he said with venom in his voice.

"Do you realize you are at my mercy?" I asked amused at his condition "You don't need to act tough boy" I said smirking

"oh... so Demon king is angry?? I am afraid??" He said sarcastically.

"Well boy I would very much like to end you here and now but I am not going to waste my time on you... I am on my way to punish your King and I don't have time for you so if you want to live ... and if you know what's best for you then.... DO................RUNNNN"

"If I wanted to run Demon I would have ran already... and what makes you think after knowing you are here to harm my King that I would let you enter our Kingdom" He said with harshness in his voice.

I was amazed at his confidence but I was also pissed off at his stubbornness.

"Ceaser take care of him" I pointed one of my soldier.

Ceaser and he fought and soon the young man was lying on ground taking his last breathes.

"Good Job Ceaser..". I was about to pat him when I saw Ceaser stiffen and then him falling to ground to touch the face of the vampire.

"Why didn't you tell me??? why?? why son??" Ceaser said in a broken voice.

"Because I wanted you to do this Ceaser... you left my mother...because of you she is suffering... she does not have your love and even though she had me I was constant reminder in her life that someday you would come and take her but after this I know she would not suffer anymore".

I was mortified at the scene but again my darkness took over and I asked Ceaser "Get over it he is gone and your mate... you never mentioned to me... you better give explanations once we are done with the mission".

We entered the palace and waited for the nasty King to make his presence with my love. That would be the right time to attack.

Alex POV

The city of Vampires came into my view and I could see the soldiers patrolling the Palace walls. Now the only thing I had to do was get into the palace without them recognizing me. Then I would have to cover my scent. I had to come up with a plan for this.

I was about to step up near the walls when I felt a figure upon my head. I moved away in the nick of time realizing it was the Vampire who had his claws open to attack me. He lunged at me with full force I dodged his move. He fell on the ground I held my sword and pierce him from back and it came out straight from his heart and he turned into ashes in 5 mins. Then I did the unthinkable I used his ash and used it to shield my scent. I moved over the Palace walls and now I stepped inside. But unfortunately my sword fell on the other side.

I moved and hid behind the trees and I found the Vampires standing and they were trying to smell. They were confused. They were moving towards my direction. They could still smell my human scent. I was ready to fight them off when one of them said

"Hey you slave what are you doing in the Palace Gardens" He asked.

"I... I was trying to uproot the weeds from the garden" I replied.

"Hahaa.. a weed trying to do weeding.. do you hear that Castor" He said.

"Mylin I guess he should go to his prison" Castor said.

"Enough Slave we don't want you here... so go to your prison... Hey Simon here.. take him to the dungeon" He called another Vampire.

"Mylin this person does not look like slave he ... is wearing a soldier's clothes" Castor said.

"Oh... Castor you are a one hell lot of suspicious Vampire.. you don't remember we got new humans from the nearby kingdom and we caught the normal man and soldiers so it's not big deal". Mylin replied.

Soon Simon pushed me into a cell in dungeon. Now all I have to figure out is how to find my way to princess.

I was waiting in my cell when I heard "Hey you know today's the mating ceremony" One of the guard said.

"Mitchel I am not happy with how this happening... King is not supposed to compel somebody to be his consort".

"Luco.. you are not supposed to say like that. After all what he is doing is for us. He wants to be powerful so that we vampires are powerful. This is just a small thing to do for that great mission" Mitchel answered.

"Who is King getting mated to??" I asked.

"Hey filth you were eavesdropping on our conversation" One of them shouted.

"Well I was not eavesdropping and if you were out letting your secrets in open then sure it is not my fault" I said.

"Mitchel let him be.. as if he can do anything. He will just survive and rot in the cell. Let's go we should be there before the ceremony starts" Luco said.

Soon they left me and I was wondering who the King is getting married to become powerful.
