Alex POV

The moment I realize that no longer will I be able to find the princess. I felt so lost that again I failed princess, I failed as her protector, I failed my King, I failed our Queen, I failed my Kingdom and that thought broke my heart. Last time at least I couldn't do much as it happened behind my back but this time she was taken right in front of my eyes and I could do nothing about it.

I felt the anger boiling inside me I felt the rage consuming me inside and out. Another thing that worried me was if night falls will my fellow men be safe from those  dark creatures who were ready to feed on our blood and flesh.The princess was hope for our people to save them from those cruel dark ones, I could feel the happiness when she came to our Kingdom, people felt the hope that now they will be safe and nothing bad could happen. Days back when she was trying to tame her powers and put them into constructive energy and everyone hoped that our protection spell will last forever and may be increase its boundary to save the humans in the surrounding kingdoms from the torturous life they are living each day. Because of me all is lost. I have lost the only hope we had, I felt like killing myself I felt hatred towards me. I was deep in self torturous thoughts when my friend Dexter came in.

"Alex what are you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing... just thinking..." I replied.

"Ok berating yourself like usual for not being able to save the princess" He asked.

"You know it's my fault.With princess gone, we were all nearing the end of our rope. You know I failed" I ended the last words bitterly.

"Do you think you failed already" He asked.

"I do think I failed" I replied bitterly.

"Then my friend you are a failure" He said shrugging his shoulders. 

"Dexter are you here to mock me or you are here to give me a solution" I asked him.

"Why are you asking for a solution Dear when you have admitted you have failed already" He asked me.

"What???" I asked

"Yes Alex, what can you do when you have confessed you are a failure then why bother asking for a solution when you are not going to do anything about it" He replied.

"Dex.. I may have failed my King and Queen but I will not fail to get my princess back" I told him.

"Then if you have that in your mind my dear then what are you doing here pacing back and forth. Let's start our journey in pursuit of our lost princess aahann... your princess.  He smirked at this. When I glared at him he continued "We have to get to our princess before someones harms her. We have to get back our princess our hope so that we can happiness around for a longer time".

I smiled at my friend. He could make me see positive in any situation. 

"But where do we start" I asked him.

"Let's start by recalling the direction the black creatures took" He replied.

"Dex... you are the best" I said smiling.

"You know when am I not" He replied winking.

I prepared myself with all the weapons I would need to fight off those dark ones. I ordered my second- in- command Marcus to take care of the borders and keep our fellow men safe till we bring princess Astra back. I told him to keep princess Kidnapping a secret. I was not ready to let the people know that princess has been kidnapped. I didn't had the strength in me to tell them that princess was taken and it will take me some time to get her back and I didn't know whether I will be able to keep them safe while I was away.

I was pondering about our strategy and plan to get princess back that I didn't realize the Oracle was standing infront of me.

"Warrior do you have any clue who might have taken the Princess Astra?" she asked

I was startled and then looked at her in confusion "I have no clue but I was expecting you could find the answer to that question for you are the Oracle. As for me I am not in a mood to go through with your tactics. I have better things to do" I answered irritated.

"Warrior I used my powers but I could not get even a single clue where to find her. So I thought you might be able to give me some clue so I could work it out. But seems like you are as good as me" She answered.

  I felt more frustrated at her statement and but at least I could use the direction the dark ugly creatures took last night as clue to start our conquest of finding her. I was worried how she was being treated.  

"Well You can say that but I am not going to sit here and wish I could see her. I am going to get into action and I am leaving as soon as my friend Dexter will join" I answered her.

The next response I got from her was surprise. She smiled at me and then handed me over a knife which was studded with ruby and said "Warrior take this and use it on the dark ones when you feel they are not impacted by your mortal strength, for I know you will encounter one who will be the strongest".

I took the knife from her and walked out of my room and joined Dexter to start our journey.

Vikings King POV

I was amazed to see her right infront of me. I was awestruck would be an understatement. I looked at the beautiful creature bonded in chains infront of me. She was the most beautiful creature I have seen after the last fairy princess thousands and thousands of  years ago. I could feel myself drawn to her like how I felt those centuries ago.

 I was feeling the same attraction that I felt when I saw Fairy Princess the one who was my mate, but rejected me and was no more alive. It broke my heart when she rejected me, I didn't leave her even then I tried convincing her of my powers. I tried making her love me but she denied. She denied my powers, my Kingdom, my beauty, my heart for a mere human. That was unbearable for me.

 She thought she could marry him and live happily thereafter. She was wrong, I helped to get rid of him But she was so stubborn that she gave her life for him. She believed he was the one for him. Till date I have not touched any females. I hate them with passion, it reminds me of her and it reminds me of the pain I have gone through, it reminds me of the betrayal of my beloved. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt the woman stirring on the cold floor.

 I quietly watched her opening her eyes and then the shock of her being in a dark place and her being bounded by chains. I waited for her to give some reaction. I thought the moment she will wake up she would shout on top of her voice to let her go. But this woman opened her eyes and looked at her surrounding as if she expected herself to be bounded as if she expected she would be on the ground and that she would be a prisoner. I was amazed at her calmness.

"Is someone there?" She asked in her melodious voice.

I stiffened when I heard her open her mouth and utter those words. It was her voice... my beloved's. How is this possible I was wondering in my mind.

"Is someone there?" She asked again.

I ventured myself out of shadows so I could be in her presence. When I moved near her and looked into her blue ones, my eyes were red with lust, she was indeed her. Her.. my beloved... 

In that moment all I felt was to take her in my arms and kiss  her and then asked her the reason why she left me alone centuries ago.

"Do you know who is the one who captured me is?" She asked looking at my face and tilting her head at angle with grace.

She had no emotion other than curiosity when she looked into my eyes. She just wanted to know who captured her. She didn't even remember me. I was mesmerized by her beauty, her innocence. She was so pure so innocent, so lovely and most important unmarried, untouched. I instantly knew that I want her as mine. I want to have her this time. I want no one to take her away.

"Do you remember me Princess?" I asked knowing well that she doesn't and it did hurt that she forgot me as if I didn't exist.

"Am I supposed to know?" She questioned furrowing her brows.

"I thought you might have heard about me" I asked hoping she may recall something.

"Are you the demon King?" She asked raising her eyebrows while tilting her head with slight frown on her face.

"No I am not" I answered. I clenched my jaws and balled my hands into fist. I felt angry that she mentioned another male infront of me. She mentioned the one who I hate with such passion that even hatred will end.

"Oh.. I am glad that you are not. Although I was hoping I would get to know who I am against" she said with a small smile.

"I am glad too" I replied smiling at her. It made me feel good that she was glad that she was not captured by the Demon King

"Then may I know who you are?" she asked. It made me happy that she wanted to know about me.

"Do you really want to?" Hope swirling in me. I wanted to take her in my arms and kiss her senseless.

"Yes,  Like I said earlier I should know who I have to fight against? I would like to put a name on my faceless enemy she answered.

The moment the word came out of her mouth I felt disappointed. " You don't need to fight me Princess. I can stand by your side to protect you and your loved ones" I answered sincerely

"Hhhhaaahhahah" she laughed "By the condition I am in, a fool will only believe you sir? May be you want to trick me but I am not stupid so it would be better if you could let me know what is it that you seek from me?" She asked

I loved her laugh but I knew she was mocking me. She wanted answers as to why she was taken why she was here.

"It's Victor my Princess" I replied hoping for her to recall something about me.

"Vic..Victor as in the Vampire King" She said while her eyes widen in shock. "You are the one who take away our young kids so you could feed on their blood" she yelled

I liked when my name rolled off her lips. I felt blessed and for the first time in centuries I felt live.

"Yes I am" I answered not able to meet her eyes when she accused me of blood feeding. I felt bad that she doesn't remember me but she remembers what people talk about me. And Yes it was bad, I am the one who allowed my Vamps to take away any young blood from their Kingdom for I had enemity with her father.

"Ok so go ahead with whatever torture you have planned for me Vampire King. For I know whatever you have planned is not good" She said with lot of hatred.

This enraged and hurt me that she was hated me. She thought I would torture her. I controlled my anger and stepped near her and bent down to the place where she was sitting and then squat near her left neck and whispered in her ears "Princess, I want to torture you but not the way I do with humans I have taken,  from your Kingdom. The torture I have planned for you are sweet ones  and are a part of bedroom" 

She shivered and almost next instant I was pushed back on the wall with a great force, causing a dent in the wall.

"Vampire King... No male.. I mean it No male can touch me that way until I give my consent" She yelled in fury. Her blue orbs were now white and blazing so much fury.

I was shocked at the change in her personality.I thought it was just a rumor but having experienced it now I had to believe it that she was not to be touched without consent. I composed myself  and said smirking "Then princess you will give me your permission to not only touch you but take you to ecstasy of pleasures" .

"And what makes you think I will allow you "She questioned raising her brow.

"Your people my love" I answered smirking.

She looked angrily at me and I continued.

"If you marry me I pledge I will protect whole of your Kingdom that none of the supernaturals will be able to harm them. If you don't you know we can always have our fill till there are no people around in your Kingdom" I completed.

"Nooooo... you will not harm them" She yelled with lot of anger and anguish but her eyes glistend with unshed tears thinking of fate of her people. I felt her emotion momentarily and I felt to bite back my words but I knew better.

Her tears made my heart clench but I continued "And how do you know I won't princess. You know now there is no protection spell and the only person who could protect them that is you is here as my prisoner. Do you still think I cannot?" I asked.

When she didn't reply I continued "You have this night to think Princess. By tomorrow I will wipe your Kingdom off if you didn't consent to my proposal" .

I left her in the prison for I knew I could not stand to watch her in pain and watch her breaking her resolve. But I will make sure she makes right decision and chooses me this time. I knew I don't have much of a time before supernaturals will meet and try to attack me. I have to marry her and mate her so I can have her and her powers to become the most powerful supernatural alive. I smiled at the thought of having her this close to me. I felt she was here because we are meant to be.
