"Well... to have friend times we are no kids and for being grown up I have some work and since both of you got your mates I think you both will be busy. I will deliver your message to the council" She said and disappeared in thin air.  

Caleb's POV

"Tell me Gordon where is Nysa" I asked 

"Caleb I am sorry I could not protect your sister" He said looking down in shame but continued " We had Dark King at our Mercy. Your sister had managed to stabbed him with the poisonous weapon you gave her. Had... Had that demon Vortex not interfered we would have had the princess here and with Dark King dissolved into nothingness. But that nasty... demon Vortex interfered and managed to get me wounded which left me of no use and captured the dragon princess by freezing her and took both Dark King and Princess with him. ". 

"Really Gordon you are here telling me what could have had happened. Do you think that will make me happy" I said clenching my jaw and balling my fists. "You think leaving my sister with that demon and talking about the ifs and buts will make me happy"

"No Caleb I was just stating what could have happened. As you can see we had managed to damage the Dark King I think he would surely be no longer a problem" Gordon replied "But the only bad point now is we lost Nysa to demons".

"I don't care whether Dark King disappears or not. All I wanted was Astra the most powerful hybrid fairy so I could deal with the dragon Emperor to save my mate. You not only failed to get princess Astra but you left Nysa to fend for herself with that devil" I said

  " You did know I have promised to ancient that by tomorrow she would be in his palace as his concubine along with princess Astra"

"But Caleb you told us that she would be marrying the Dragon prince not that she would be a concubine to Dragon prince,since he had taken a fancy for her" Gordon asked.

"Really Marrying someone who is not a mate. Are you telling me this Gordon ? You know it very well that we dragons don't just marry anyone like pathetic humans do. We marry and mate for life. Had I not lied to her do you think she would have gone to fetch the princess. And Gordon don't you tell me that she is my sister. I know she is, but what you don't know is that she is my half sister" I replied bitterly.

"Then I think what I did what was best for her Caleb. It's good she is with that demon because he is her mate" Gordon 

"What do you mean by that Gordon? I said closing the distance and staring at him.

"Well at least she will not see the folly of her brother whom she worships like god. The brother who according to her is protective of her and just wants her married to the dragon prince for her future and not for saving her good for nothing mate" Gordon replied in condescending tone.

 "You are the most pathetic being I have come across you were using your sister oh... sorry half sister how can I forget?? to save your mate. You coward you were supposed to protect her and not use her. If you love your mate that much then why not die for her. And I think what happened is good for her" .

"What do you mean by that ? huh.. tell me getting raped by demon is good huh tell me" I asked staring directly into his eyes.

"Yes I think it would be good for her. Atleast she won't feel dirty giving herself to some stranger atleast she is with her mate. And who knows she may eventually fall in love him".

I could not say anything back but just looked at him when he saw that I had nothing to counter his speech he continued

"You call Nysa your half sister but do you know what she said when she knew, she would get captured Tell my brother that Nysa is dead because if he knew I am captured he would wage war with demons she told me that you are already worried about your mate and you need your mate to survive and she want you to live happily " He said in regretting tone.

I know it hurts to hear those words from Gordon but I have to show him his place  

 " Gordon you are disrespecting me and You think you can survive the consequences" I said baring my teeth.

 " I know what consequences will be. But really Caleb you think to save that slut of a mate, you wanted to sacrifice your angel like sister. Are really that crazy? " He yelled at me and left my chamber.

To be sure I did not have any answer. Yes I was giving away my innocent sister to evil of a man we all call the ancients of dragons. He wanted her to be his son's concubine.  I thought that by giving my sister off I would be able to save my mate and have my sister live  a life of luxury. I thought initially she will be offended but later on when she will learn to live in luxury then she will get used to it. Hearing the words loud and clear from Gordon made me feel how wrong i was. I thought I was doing a great favor to my sister. But now I think I never took into account her mate, her life. I was just happy with the idea of her being in palace. And look where it led me now. Now my sister was captured by demon and I even lost the chance of bringing in princess Astra to dragon land

 I was pacing back and forth all night and jerked when I heard a voice

"Caleb where is the treat my eyes are waiting for?"  the ancient asked.

"Your grace, I am sorry I failed to get the princess Astra" I replied looking at the floor.

His lips turned into a grim line and he said "That much I expected but where is the special girl I asked to be sent to my palace this morning. When I didn't find her in my palace I was really disappointed" He said in calm voice staring at me. But I knew not to be deceived by the tone of his voice. I knew he was furious, his gaze held the anger but surprisingly his voice was calm.

"Your grace, my sister has been captured by the demons while we attempted to capture princess Astra. I apologize that I won't be able to fulfill my side of bargain" I replied not meeting his eyes.

"Caleb I didn't think you were really this coward. You sent your sister to fetch the princess.. you didn't go with her ?? You failed to fetch princess when we had the best  opportunity and you even lost my jewel to demons?" He yelled glaring at me with his eyes turning completely black.

"Your grace I wanted this mission to kidnap princess Astra a secret. I knew  Nysa is the queen of stealth and she would be able to bring princess Astra  without anyone noticing since Demon King would be busy fighting to capture the palace and I sent my best warrior Gordon to back her up. But seems like Demon King happen to be on the same side from where Nysa was escaping out with the Princess Astra. She had even managed to stab the demon King with blue crystal knife but the demon Vortex happened to be at that place and captured her and took away the demon king to the Demon land".

"You shame me King Caleb. I know I told you she was your half sister but I never expected you to put her life in peril like that. I knew it would hurt you. But I never thought after knowing she was your half sister you would put her in the dangerous situation and now she is a prisoner at demon land. Do you know what could be happening to her? Do you know you betrayed me? Do you know you helped demons take away what was mine??" He held my face to his and was looking at directly in my eyes.

His eyes were so intense and it was like I was loosing myself and then my body was shivering and then I was struggling for breath. Then he released me from the hold whatever his eyes were capable of and I fell on my knees on the floor.

"Caleb I lied to you. She is your sister and not half-sister, I lied so as to kill the rebellious feeling you would get if I took her from you. I followed my deceiving nature.." He laughed a laugh but it was monstrous "Caleb but you.... you were supposed to protect her" he had a nasty smile on his face "How did you revert from your nature...huh??" He yelled and was pacing back and forth with his fist closed trying to control his rage.

"Caleb you said you sent your best warrior Gordon then why is it that he is here and she alone was captured inspite of her talents" He asked raising his brow.

"Your grace.. She was freezed with the power of mate bond" I replied.

Then he composed himself and said "You mean the demon Vortex who captured her is her mate and that your sister is captured due to mate bond". I nodded my head in asset then he continued " Then most likely she would not be a virgin if she is with her mate. Then I think I will focus on my larger goal, Princess Astra... Now Caleb tonight you will attack their Kingdom and bring her to me. If not then I will make sure you won't breath further" with those words he disappeared.

After knowing the deception of the ancient I was feeling more guilty. But I would have to attack Varavon Kingdom now that I want to live for my sister so I can bring her back from the demon land. I knew I would not survive if I didn't do the ancient's bidding. I called Gordon to discuss the war strategy.

After discussing the war strategy there was one question in my mind "If princess Astra is what ancient really wants then what is it that he wanted from my sister Nysa"
