I was surprised that healer was unable to relieve Raymond of the pain. With the thought to make his mercy plea to princess I moved towards princess's chambers.

As I made my way towards the chamber I was thinking over the whole thing. Everything was going in good then Raymond challenging me and then us fighting and then Princess's white light attacking Raymond and then her going in shock state and then after healer's touch be in a stupor state. I was thinking all this when suddenly I was stopped by a figure in white clothing.

" Alex, stop right there and donot enter her chambers".

I looked over the figure to realize she was the Oracle of the Kingdom. I rolled my eyes and was ignoring what she said

"Don't if you care for her life" she said.

Damn this stopped me right away. Damn this women knows how to get the things done.

"What do you mean if her life is in danger then I think I must enter to protect" I replied back while staring at her.

"Follow me into my chambers right now" She commanded. I did as asked and then we continued our conversation

"Well, I told you what I fear you are going to ask her?"

"What I am never going to ask her to put her life in danger" I replied.

"That was what you had in your mind. You thought you could just go to her and plead for Raymond. I know you are soft-hearted even for people who have wronged you. You just could not see anyone in pain" She said

"Yes, I was planning to do that because Raymond is suffering and its heart wrenching seeing him suffer with that unknown light" I replied softly

"That he will have to do for a little while. He has darkness inside him and the power of light from princess is trying to fight it so he doesn't turn evil. But he is giving up on his positivity and falling for darkness and do you know why?" She asked

"You mean he is evil. How can that be? I know he is rude and jealous but he never hurts people on purpose" I said

"There you are very wrong. For Raymond has given up on goodness and has fallen prey to darkness. You remember you were trying to arrange for the celebration but he wanted to do that for princess. He was so enraged when she refused his demand. He went and met a black witch and did a ritual to gain power to overcome you. 

I think you did notice that his reflexes have changed. He was faster than he ever was, he was waging the strong blows. You were able to dodge and overcome is another story. But you must know suddenly he became more powerful you know why? because the darkness inside him was powered by some evil. That's why you were unable to take him down. Wherein the powers of princess which are fighting the darkness raised and saved your life. Don't ask her to relieve him of his suffering. If she did that then she will be suffering more than him. It is either him or her, you choose" She said

" You mean there is no way I can help Raymond and help him stay good and fight darkness. That can't be because everyone on this world deserve a chance" I asked

"Yes there is a way If you find princess a mate who can balance her powers. Her mate should be a very good man because if not then it will reverse her powers and turn them dark and if that happens she will be the most uncontrollable power and then there will be nothing stopping her" She replied.

"But how do I help her in finding a mate. I mean I am just a soldier and I don't even know what she would like in a person with whom she wants to spend her life. And I would hate to see her with a wrong person" I replied

"Yes you are the key to her mate. You are the chosen one and it's for you to find her a mate" She replied smiling.

"You sure I am the key because right now all I feel is confused and god knows how I am going to find her a mate" I said

"Yes you will and you will figure it out your own and now you can leave" She said smiling again

I bowed her and left her chambers thinking of ways to find out mate for princess.

Alex POV

With the thoughts of searching a mate for our princess I went to my chambers and kept pacing back and forth. I was interrupted by one of my soldiers.

"Sir what is it that makes you worried? Allow your slave to ease your discomfort" He said

I told him all what I had discussed with Oracle. 

"Oh sir why don't we arrange celebration where in all the eligible bachelor prince come and show their skills to win over princess's heart.

I was shocked with his suggestion I mean how could that slipped off my mind??

I hugged him and started to plan for "Mission Mate Search"

Now that I have figured out what I need to do I went through my rounds at battle field and I also checked upon princess's health and found that she was still not feeling well. I was waiting for her get well so we can have a meeting and then I can arrange the messengers to our neighboring Kingdoms to invite princes. I was sure we would be able to find her mate nearby. Then there will be nothing that cruel Emmanuel could do.

Emmanuel's POV

" What?? why are you calling me son. Surely you are younger than me"

But all I was doing was talking in air for she has vanished just how she has appeared.

" Go away son you won't be getting your answers today. You will have to wait... and for now leave" her voice said.

I came back to my castle and now I was thinking over what that women told me

 " Emmanuel you will be able to break the spell if you could reach the middle point of the protection spell and then try to enter the globe that sits over the Kingdom. You should be able to break it"  

Ok now I have to search for the center of the protection spell so I can meet her and have her next to me. That thought made me go to my crown room and my heart was beating to have glimpses of my princess.

I saw my princess lying on her bed and her cheeks were pale, her rosy lips whimpering in pain and her face expression showed the agony she was undergoing at that time. Her maids were trying to soothe her but to no avail.  Seeing my princess suffering with pain cut through my heart. I vowed that I will have the protection spell broken soon and have her near me to keep her safe.

I have to wait for tonight and to see if I can locate the center of Protection spell and bring her to my castle. I will have to keep her safe, happy and most of all beside me.
