King Emmanuel

I stood before the cave where this dark witch resides. I entered the cave without hesitation for I knew all dark creatures are my slaves.. 

But the scene that unfolded itself after entering was something I never anticipated. I saw half the scenery here had morning and other half was dark as night.

I walked when I heard the most hypnotic voice of a woman. 

"Finally you made presence.... Dark King I was awaiting you for so long. I started doubting you will ever make this far......" 

I looked for the source but could not see anything. Frustrated I yelled 

" Do not cower in shadows.... you cunning bitch... make your presence in front of me. For if you didn't I am going to make you suffer in a way you haven't thought about..

Laughter echoed from all around the cave and still I was unable to find the source or the person who held the ownership of the place. Though the voice was musical and velvety soft I was frustrated.

"Oh so the mighty dark King is frustrated.... oh... I am so frightened " said the voice in mocking way.

" You do know whom you are talking you vile creature...?" I said with fury in my voice

"oh my my... tsk... won't you try to find me.... Dark King. I was expecting action from you?" voice said teasingly.

I used my power and threw fireballs at every point where the voice echoed and it was getting to frustrating that every time i threw the firewall I would hear the voice coming from place beside me.

I then used my powers to find her invisible figure around me but I could not see her. It was getting on my nerves now. The witch sure was very powerful and me the lord of darkness not able to find her was really bruising my ego.

Finally when it was great 2 hours I was about to use my power to destroy the place itself whether I find her or not. I was too angry to control and then I saw the fusion of dark and white light and from inside stepped the creature.

The creature stepped out of the globe of light clad in silver and black hood. I stared at it, the figure moved towards me and was finally few feet away... when it lift its hood.

I was surprised to see the beauty infront of me. Her golden tresses flying in the air, her golden brown eyes staring right at me, her right eyebrow raised made her quite attractive. Her straight nose and her sensual lips could drove any man crazy. Her silver gown like second skin to her hour glass figure.

I stood mesmerized by her personality. I was expecting a gruesome creature with skin like snake but no this was really unexpected.

"who are you?" I asked the beautiful creature infront of me.

" So your Majesty has made his presence to my humble abode but could not control his anger and by the way did you just ask me who I am" She said sarcastically with her sensual lips.

"Oh you mean because I was about to destroy this place. Believe me it would have done good to people if I had destroyed it. A beautiful creature like you is hidden from the world's eye"  I replied raising an eyebrow

" Well.. well is it the lord of darkness talking about doing good ? oh my goodness are you really the mighty ruthless dark lord I heard about??" She exclaimed mockingly.

I winced when she said that, I didn't like her to think like that about me. I wanted her not to to believe what she had heard so far about me. But who was I kidding, I am the most ruthless, cruel and evil one in the world. But hearing it from those beautiful lips was not praise i wanted to hear.

" Of course I am and it would be good for you if you answer my questions" I told her

" And pray tell me what those are" She asked playfully

" First of all  what's your name?" I asked

" That I was expecting you to know before you stepped her Dark lord"

" You won't answer that straight will you ?" I asked irritatingly.

" Well it's Clara and I am disappointed " She replied pouting.

" So Clara now that we are introduced and now come with me to my Kingdom as my personal slave" I said.

" Are you insane dark lord to think you could take me with you just because you are dark lord. Well seems like you really think you can overpower me"  she said smirking

In an instant I was next to her, I lift my hand to catch her hand but nothing came in my hand. She stood there laughing. I lift my hand again to touch her but only air. I then lift my hand to catch her neck but still was unable to hold her.

"Oh mighty King you sure thought you could just manhandle me like any simple human lass.  No you cannot" she said sarcastically

" How are you able to do this?" I asked

" Well I am a part light and part darkness that's why" she answered cleverly

I stared at her I could not catch her  the frustration was evident but I would not let that slide. But I would not loose Astra  for a pretty slave so to avoid any further delay I asked.

" Why did you give Kingdom of Varavon your protection spell. I want you to undo the spell or tell me how to do it?" I asked

" Well as I told you I am part light and part dark I helped a father by doing so" She replied innocently.

"But are you not a dark witch and dark witches don't do favors until they gain something so what is it that you got from this" I asked

" Too many questions dark lord" She huffed. " I am bored"

She started walking away from me. The only thing I could do was delay her and then I asked another question.

" Oh as you said you are part dark, so won't you help me" I asked knowing the interaction was not how I liked it. But I wanted to delay her so I could extract information from her. Knowing a witch never gives straight answer and not having her under my control was really going on my nerves.

" Hmm... so the dark lord is asking help from a mere witch.. interesting" She walked away further from me towards her globe.

When  I just could not catch her and she would not give any answers then I knew I have to use my destructive powers. 

" If you won't tell me the information I seek Clara. I swear I am not only going to destroy this place I may cause more harm to all the witches and I know you witches share sisterhood." I warned.

" So now you are threatening me Dark lord. Do whatever you wish I am not going to divulge you the information. For your Information I am supreme witch and I need no other witch to do my spells."

She walked further away and just as she was about to step in the globe, I don't know why or how but I pleaded.

" Wait don't go please.... please tell me how can I break the protection spell I can't live without her. I want to have her with me. But your spell keeps me away from my mate. That is wrong, even creatures of light or dark won't keep the other from their mates" I pleaded.

She stopped  and walked toward me to the place I stood pleading, yes me mighty king of evil pleaded. I wanted to have my Astra with me as soon as possible. I was dying to feel complete.

She walked towards me and her eyes staring at my black ones to see a flicker of lie, when she didn't find any, she said " Emmanuel you will be able to break the spell if you could reach the middle point of the protection spell and then try to enter the globe that sits over the Kingdom. You should be able to break it"

" You told me the way just like that" I asked not believing.

" You did not let me complete Emmanuel. While trying to go to the center of it you can either die or get lamed permanently. I have no protection for that. This is you must do if you really want your mate. Because if she is not your mate you surely will die." She replied.

"Oh that's why you said this since you knew I would die. But still you were quite easy on me" I replied smiling.

" Oh son... at least this was the least I could do for you after all you are my son"

" What??  why are you calling me son. Surely you are younger than me"

But all I was doing was talking in air for she has vanished just how she has appeared.

" Go away son you won't be getting your answers today. You will have to wait... and for now leave" her voice said.
