But as the sun began to rise in the east, I was worrying whether I would be able to pass the realms in the day. If I was able to then that at least danger of the werewolves, Vampires lurking in the corners of the forest would be minimal. I strode my way toward my kingdom. Half the day had passed and I was nearing to closure of the vampire realm, and I feel my excitement that I will cross the realm of werewolves while it is day.  As I was about to cross the Vampire realm, I could feel someone walking behind me. There I saw the Christopher and his soul mate Lisa; they came with an army of vampires. I pulled my sword in an attacking stance and turned my horse to them.

"We came to protect you and the princess, we mean no harm", Saying this Christopher knelt on his knees with his whole army ". I was shocked to see the whole army of Vampires kneeling down for me. Then I realised that might be it is the power of fairy. I bid them good bye and made my way to the realm of werewolves.

 I entered the realm of werewolves and remembered my encounter with the werewolf king, Gale.

 "We came to protect the princess and you royal guard Alex". I was perplexed how he knew my name. I haven't given him my name last time. "We are supernatural and we read minds Alex and I know that you are the royal guard who is taking princess from this supernatural realm to the mortal lands and we want to make sure you are able to do so. We respect our fairy queen Aria, and we would help her in whatever way we can".

I relaxed a bit that the fairy queen indeed ruled over all these supernaturals. I was still suspicious of their motive. Because princess was still unconscious and I would not let someone take advantage of her not being conscious. If at all the werewolves think they can keep the princess captive and force her to mate with one of them. Then I would fail as a guardian. I was on high alert while we rode side by side.

 "Alex we will not do anything that would harm the princess, if you are not going to believe us. We would not force you but you can let us walk princess at the end of the realm safely..."

 I nodded and told the werewolf king that I want to hurry up and be in my kingdom as I don't want it to step in the human realm when it is dark. To which Joseph replied that it's night there and that's why I slowed you down but since it's going to be night here soon. You can start your journey.

 I instantly rushed my horse so that I can be out of supernatural realm and have princess safely in mortal land. Joseph came near me swiftly and said "Alex you would need to get a mortal horse as soon as you step out of this supernatural realm. This horse is not mortal and will not be available when you cross our realm."

 I nodded and strode towards my destination, and turned when he said "Alex after you cross over the supernatural realm, the news of princess existence will reach the king Emmanuel and he will come to get her. You will be on your own. So be extra careful and take this knife and this spelled powder to keep her safe at Night"

 I rode for whole night and by the end of the dusk I knew that I had reached the realm of humans and now I have to be extra careful for I had princess who is not only beautiful but powerful too. My horse stopped near the border of werewolves' realm, it started neighing. I got down and lifted the princess from the horse back. I strode over to my realm and walked in the direction of my kingdom.

I walked carrying the princess in bridal style suddenly I felt her stirring and she opened her eyes and she started struggling to come out of my grasp. I gently laid the princess down and "How dare you touch me, royal guard. Did you forget that I am your princess and this is not a way to behave with a lady"she questioned.

"Princess, I could do nothing, since you were unconscious and I had to hurry us towards our kingdom. I wanted to ensure we are in our kingdom before dark"I bow down while answering the princess.

"Do you have a name?"she asked. " My name is Alex, your highness" I answered.

"Alex, did you think of carrying me to the kingdom if I had not waken up"she asked while raising the eyebrows.

" Yes, your highness, I could not risk keeping you out in the midst of nowhere" I answered respectfully."

" Do you think my people will see me as a strong ruler if I go there as a lifeless body in your arms. Do you think my people will accept me?" she questioned.

" Princess I did not consider that. My apologies, but I was trying to protect you" I answered.

"  I understand you were trying to protect me but I want to keep a strong impression on people of my kingdom. Do you think you can arrange an army to escort me to the kingdom."

" Princess I will as soon as we are near our kingdom" I answered.

" No I want my army to escort me from here. Don't you think I should be given a proper respect and escort." She questioned.

" I am sorry princess but that will have to wait since I am the only escort you will have here in this supernatural world. I promise I will arrange an army of escorts as soon as possible. I cannot leave you here all alone when there is danger lurking in every nook and corner."

"Ok, and how do you expect me to go to my kingdom. Are you expecting me to walk on the road".

I was perplexed as to all she cared was her status and not that her life is in danger. I nodded my head in ascent.

She huffed and started walking gracefully towards our kingdom. We were walked about half the day and then she complained about being hungry and thirsty. I remembered I had apple given by Joseph. I took the apple out of my pocket and cut it to taste before I could give it to her. I tasted the apple and gave the rest to her

" what do you think you are doing? You want me to eat what you have tasted? She asked in angry voice.

" I wanted to check this was safe for you before you could eat it" I answered.

She took the apple and glared at me. She moaned when she took the first bite of it. I was amused watching her bite the apple. She was a princess yet she ate the apple like she didn't ate for years.

She raised her questioning eyebrows when she noticed I was watching her. I shrugged my shoulders to say nothing. I walked and she walked beside me and soon we were near a village. I could see that people of the village were staring at us.

Then I asked them where I could find the market of their village. They gave me the direction and I started walking towards it. Then suddenly she held my wrist and said " I can't walk anymore. I am tired and hungry".

" Princess we have to get a horse and I will buys some food for you from the market and then we can move towards our destination. I would have carried you but you would not like it. So you will have to walk yourself so we can get our things early and be out of this village soon" I told her.

She nodded her head in understanding and then started walking towards Market. I bought a nice healthy horse and gave money and asked for the shop of food. He pointed me to go towards right and at the end of the lane. I took the change and was moving with horse towards that direction. 

When she held my wrist again and I saw her fainting. I held her in my arms and stabilized her. I lifted her up and laid her on the horse and took the reins in my hand and walked towards the shop for food and water. I bought some apples for journey and then I took off the market towards my kingdom on my horse with princess in front of me. 

After sometime she regained her conscious and asked me" Guard why am I on a horse with you and where is my chariot and my army to escort me to my palace"

" Princess, I didn't had enough money to buy to horse and food. So I took one horse and some food so we can survive the journey."

" I am hungry and I want to eat. I stopped the horse and bent down to pull the apple and gave her. 

She turned her neck said " Warrior do you expect me to eat on this horse. Won't you stop for a while. I want to eat peacefully and rest."

" Princess I think it would be better if we are on our way to our destination. I don't think it would be safe." I replied irritatingly.

" I want you to stop, you are my guardian not my king. So stop now and let me rest for a while". I got down and helped her get down.

She sat near a tree and eating the food I bought. She offered me some but I denied and took one apple and ate it.

" UMM.. for a warrior you eat very less," she said.

" We have to survive in extreme conditions princess and that's why we are called Warriors" I answered.

" I am fed up hearing you call me princess, can you please call me by my name" she asked.

" Princess I don't know your name and I don't think even you do since you woke up after eighteen years and you didn't meet your mother."

Hearing this here eyes glazed with the unshed tears . 

I know my name, My name is  Astra. You can call me Astra." She smiled " my mom called me when she came to me in the form of light" I loved it when she called me that. I love to hear my name that's the only thing I loved it when she told me story of my birth."

I immediately regret the answer I gave her earlier. " Princess Astra, I am sorry for your loss, but I think we should move now."

 " I am sore ridding the horse Knight. I want to rest a while." I could see the sadness in her eyes and so I let her rest while keeping an eye on everything that moved.

 The sun was about to move down and I was still far from my kingdom. I was sure today I won't be able to make it to our kingdom. I had to again stop for the night near a forest. I searched for a place that was near the water, but not too close I kept the fire running and I made a grass bed for us. Princess was standing near the lake.

 I could see the sadness in her eyes. I let her be in her thoughts. I marked the protection with knife and the silver powder and I stood there alert so I could protect her from dangers.
