Hinata POV.

I was out shopping when I heard whispering around me. Everyone was looking at someone. Turning my head to the left I saw Sakura holding Narutos hand, and Sasuke trailing left to them looking irritated.

Aah the Last Uchiha alive, he has been back In Konoha for 5 months now.

"Lady Hyuga will this be all? I turned to the vender holding out a bag with Apples.

"Yes, thank you." The old man smiled at me and turned towards onother customer.

"HINATA" turning I saw Sakura run towards me. I stopped and turn waiting for her to get close.

"Good afternoon Sakura" she smiled brightly ever since Sasuke Uchiha has been back she's been more happy along with Naruto.

"Hinata do you want to go eat with us? Have you eaten?"

"Oh Sakura I'm not sure I'd hate to impose." I murmured softly.

"Hinata You would never impose,I'm paying so Let's go eat" Naruto said coming up behind Sakura.

I smiled at them they have been going out for 3 months now, I'm happy for my friends. I let go of my feelings for Naruto a while back, after Neji died because he protected me, when I was ready to die and protect Naruto.

Naruto became the Hero, I told him after the war was over about my feeling, Neji died so I can live on, so I confessed my feelings.

I saw his eyes go blank, he gapped like a fish out of water, That's when I knew that he would never return my feelings. He practically ran away, after 1 month news was out that Sakura and Naruto were in a relationship, it didn't bother me in the least anymore.

I smiled and Nodded once.

"GREAT, lets go I'm starving." Sakura laughed and walked beside Naruto.

I trailed after them with my bag of apples. I was walking besides Sasuke, peaking at him under my eyelashes. He was looking ahead of us, he really looked annoyed at everything.

"Uchiha-San how have you been adjusting." Sasuke turned towards me and looked at me, like if he were trying to remember something, he most likely doesn't remember who I was. I smiled at him, and turned fully to him stopping and making him stop.

"I'm Hinata Hyuga, we went to the Academy together." He nodded once and continued walking. I hurriedly followed catching up with his long strides.

"Hm, I do remember a little girl, that had a crush on Naruto, always blushing, stalking him, with very short hair." I groaned and covered my face with my hands, I could feel my cheeks quickly heat up.

"I really desire for everyone to forget about that, I did not stalk him.. it's just every time I would see him, I would hide from him and just watch him." I thought about those times and grimaced.

"It did look like I stalked Naruto." I flinched and pursed my lips, I must have looked like some creep.

"Just Sasuke!" I turned to the man besides me. Ahh okay.

"You can call me Hinata also!" I smiled at him. He looked towards me but only for a second, his eyes focused up front again.

We walked behind the couple in front of us silently, they were loud enough for the 4 of us.

"Naruto, I said noo!"

"Awww Sakura! Come on, you know how much I love ramen!" Sakura sighed and rubbed her temples. I smiled softly at them.

"Naruto we ate there just this morning let's go get barbecue!" Sakura turned and smacked Naruto on the head.

Naruto only nodded with his head and shoulders down, he looked really disappointed. My eyes focused on a figure. I stopped and looked towards the alley, a man was striking a woman. I ran towards the alley.

"Hey, what are you doing!" The man stopped and turned towards me while the woman was on the floor.

"Non of your business lady, leave me and my wife alone, we are just having a nice conversation!" My blood boiled as I looked at the woman holding her  eye. I scowl at the man.

Before I could say anything the lady spoke.

"My husband and I are only speaking!" I looked towards the woman again, I turned when I felt a hand on my shoulder, Sasuke stood behind me assessing the situation.

His eyes landed on me. "Let's go eat Hime."

"Bu-." His one eye that was visible focused on me.

"Let's go, it doesn't matter what you do, if he gets arrested she will deny it and he will be out in hours again. It's a hopeless-case." I winced he was right. This has happened often. I bit my lip. Turning towards the couple, the man had the woman by her waist while she looked down at the floor, her hair covered her face.

I sighed and looked towards the woman. "Do you need help?" I asked softly, hoping she would look at me and tell me she did. The lady only shook her head.

"Excuse me but me and my wife must go now!" The man walked away, the woman followed. I sighed and looked at their retreating forms. They soon got lost in the crowed.

I shook my head, she will have to go through this for the rest of her life.

"Let's go Hime, I'm hungry!" He turned his back and walked out of the alley. I sighed one more time and followed.

"I said my name was Hinata, I'm not the head of the Hyuga anymore." He turned towards me, he blinked and turned his face away again.

"Hmm so will you get that seal, that the Hyuga are known to give their slaves?"

"Sasuke please don't say that, I know it's wrong but the seal is so our eyes can be protected Incase a Hyuga is captured.!" I tried defending but I knew that was half truth.

The seal was for the branch members, so they could never try to surpass the main family, so they could never try getting out of line. Soon I will be one also, exactly 3 days from now.

"So you will get the seal, I heard your sister will be head of the clan in 1 month. Since she is fighting for the seal to not be put on you or anyone else,.. will they put it on you before she is appointed leader!" He was not asking he was stating facts. I looked away from him and stared up ahead.

He was right I did not answer and I did not need to, I saw Sakura and Naruto talking to Ino, while Shikamaru had his hands in his pockets and looked at the sky, and Choji beside them eating his chips. They were all in front of the barbecue place.

They all turned to us and waved.

"Hinata, Sasuke we lost you in the crowed." I smiled at them all and nodded, Sasuke said nothing.

"Hinata I'm so glad to see you, you have been gone for 1 week! How was your mission?" I smiled at Ino as she hugged me and left one arm wrapped around my shoulders.

"It was successful Ino." She smiled at me.

"Lest go eat I'm starving." We all laughed at Choji who was being impatient already walking inside. I walked in between Sakura and Ino. They talked I listened, once we all were seated everyone was talking.

I was still in between the girls while they insulted each other playfully. I smiled and cooked the meat.

Choji was helping, sort of, he ate every meat he cooked. I started placing meat all around the plates, once I got to Sasuke who was looking out the window, he looked my way nodded once and looked out the window again.

I placed his meat on his plate and let him be. Conversations floated around me. I listened to their banter.

"Lady Hinata, you are needed at home." A Hyuga guard appeared and bowed to me. Once he looked into my eyes, I saw the sadness in them. Ahh so then they did decide to place the seal on me sooner, Tousan said they would, looks like today is the day.

I stood and everyone complained, but I smiled at them and bowed.

"I'm sorry to cut this time short, I must be leaving now. I hope to see you all soon, have a nice day." I smiled at them one more time.

My eyes stopped at a second at Sasuke who was looking at me already, but I looked away and Walked out with the Hyuga Guard.

"Lady Hinata, if I may. Hanabi-sama fought strongly for this to not happen." I smiled at the man beside me.

"I've known this would happen, we all knew, it is the right thing to do." I looked away and stared at the sky.

We all knew it would happen sooner or later, Naruto forgot about his promise to Neji to change the Hyuga, but I don't blame him. This is not his problem to fix. Either way he would have never been successful, you cannot change the Hyuga ways, if you try to fight the system you will only fail.

I tried, but I failed. I asked Hanabi to not fight, I want her to be head. This was the inevitable situation that I am in.

Hanabi left this morning on a mission, I had a feeling that they would take advantage of that. She was not here to stop them, she could try but it's easier if Hanabi isn't around.

I will be strong and take the seal with pride. I should have been a branch member instead of Neji. He would have made a great clan leader. If only his father were born first.

Once we came up to the Hyuga gates I stopped and breathed in. Taking one step in then another. I think I should be scared, but I feel nothing just numb.

Heyy my lovely readers, new story yayyy yes this will be in Ninjaworld. I hate to say it but Hinata will get the seal in this book. Sooo I hope you guys still enjoy it 🤗🤗 I think it was a good situation for Sasuke and Hinata to start talking 💖
