Chapter 5 (Unedited)

Anika's POV

I was shocked by his action, instead of hatred I saw something else in his eyes. He pulled me for a hug and that made me more shock but I didn't dare to pull away from him.

I felt my pain easing at his hug but I was still confused by his action. After some time I pulled away from the hug, I stared at him. He removed his coat and wrapped it around to cover myself.

"Stay here, I will ask someone to bring a dress for you." I just nodded at him. He was about to go but suddenly he turned towards me.

"Don't be scared of me, I will never hurt you." Saying this he walked out of the door leaving me in shock.

His words was really comforting.

Who is he?

Why do I feel better when he is near me?

After sometime, Mr. Oberoi walked in with a bag. I stared at him and he just smiled.

"Anika, here's your dress. Get ready and join us in the conference hall." I nodded my head as he walked away closing the door behind him.

I opened the bag and found a blue sundress. I immediately changed into it and removed my bun style letting my hair fall down my shoulders. I signed in relief.

I walked towards the conference hall and Mr. Malhotra smiled at me and I returned the smile. Mr. Oberoi was busy with the documents. He then turned towards me.

"Miss. Anika, I want you in my mansion by tomorrow ten clock. Don't be late as I hate tardiness." I nodded my head. He then turned towards Mr. Malhotra.

"Sir, I think I should go now. We will meet soon." Mr. Malhotra smiled and shook Mr. Oberoi's hand. They also hugged each other.

Then Mr. Oberoi turned towards me with a smirk and brought butterflies in my stomach. God, just a smirk and I turn like this. What the hell is wrong with me?

He stood in front of me with his smirk. My eyes bored into each other and I felt an unusual feeling. He held my hand and pulled me closer which me gasp in surprise.

"We will meet soon." I just nodded my head again.

"I will miss you Anika." My heart skipped a beat hearing him. I stared at him in shock. He giggled hearing me. He moved more closer and kissed my forehead before walking out. I looked at Mr. Malhotra who was smirking at me.

What the hell is happening here?
