She felt like the ground below her going away.

"Wh....what?" She asked shocked.

"Your acting is pretty impressive Gauri!" He said with a blank face.

"Omkara ji aap-"

"I wish I never knew this! This is killing me from inside. I know I don't have to feel guilty but I do feel it. Why? You were the one who was aware of everything and you decide to keep me in the dark! Still I feel I am the culprit. You are the one who destroyed everything." He said angrily.

Unable to hear these allegations she shouted.

"Bas! I agree.... I am the one who kept you in the dark! But what was I supposed to say? Would you have believed me? Did I have any proof with me? It was you who just went and asked Ishaana about her being your Ajnabi. I never asked you to go and ask her. But you did. I was numb. I couldn't comprehend what was happening. You were living a happy life with Ishaana. I was helpless." She said finally crying falling on her feet.

"You were happy! You had your family, your wife and you were soon going to be a father. What about me? I had no one with me. I was alone. I lived my life as a breathing dead body. For the first time I really loved a man and I just got pain in return. I used to think that I will have so much fun while doing MBA from a foreign university. But I just wasted those years thinking about you. And you know what broke me more? My best friends betrayal. I shared every damn thing with her. I considered her as my family. And she broke my heart. It was easy for you Omkara ji! But not for me. You simply put the blame on me. I was the one who suffered. You were living happily with your whole family." She said.

Harshly wiping the tears she looked at him. A part of him wanted just hug her tightly and erase her pain but the part of was confused. He knew she was not at fault. But what he felt now was not allowing him to look at her the way he looked at her earlier. And that made him guilty again. How he wished if could take her in his arms and make her forget her pain. But he felt numb.

"You still think I am at fault?" Gauri asked hurt. "I know I did a mistake by not telling you about it even after her death and keeping you in the dark. If you are still feeling the same, I will go away from your life."

A lone tear escaped her eyes. The thought of handing over the nupitial chain back to him made her knees go weak. Didn't she deserve any happiness in her life? Finally she was happy when he proposed her. She was dreaming about a new life which she was going to live with him and Riya. But everything changed.

With a heavy heart she started removing the nupitial chain from her neck. His eyes widened realising what she was going to do. He held her hand stopping her from removing it. He nodded his head in denial.

Gauris POV

He nodded no! Isn't this what he wanted? Didn't he want to end this relationship?

Don't give me any hope Omkara! I can't bear this anymore! I am fed up.

I saw him coming closer to me. With each step our distance decreasing. For a fraction of second I saw his eyes filled with desires. But wait! It wasn't just lust! I saw love for me in his eyes!

No! No! No! Don't get these shitty thoughts into your mind Gauri! At last you will be left with a broken heart. Why will he love me? He still thinks I betrayed him. He regrets everything!

Taking back myself from these thoughts I looked and gasped seeing him so close to me. My heart beat was increasing rapidly.

Barely breathing for a second he captures my lips. Kissing me hard. Moaning lightly when his tongue touches mine, I tried keeping up with him.

Damn this feeling! I was in daze. It was like going with the flow. I am just kissing him! And it just feels so right when I, myself knows that this is the wrongest thing I've ever done.
Wait what? 'WRONGEST!?' Is there even a superlative form for wrong?

I feel his hands slides under my top touching my stomach passing electricity through out my body. Fuck these hormones. I am loosing my control.

His groans! Turning me on like nothing else.

"Omkara!" I moaned lightly.

Well! That was involuntary. But it feels so perfect hearing his name like this in my voice.

"Damn you Gauri!" He said before tearing my top in one go.

Bhavya sat on the bed caressing Riyas hair stands. She looked at the little child sleeping peacefully with an adorable pout.

"What if you never asked your Dada to make Gauri your mumma? What would have happened? What if you never met Gauri? What if Gauri settled there in US itself?" Bhavya asked as a bare whisper.

She took her phone remembering about Rudys missed calls which she saw when Gauri called her. She dialled Rudys number.

"Did he kill Gauri?" That was the first thing which he asked.

"Kya?" She asked confused.

"Didn't volcano eruption occur?" Rudy asked.

"What are you speaking idiot?" Bhavya asked irritated.

"Didn't O ask you anything?" Rudy asked.

"No! In fact Gauri asked me to take Riya to my room. First I thought it was because they wanted to spend time together. But seeing their expressions I sensed something is wrong. Both didn't tell anything to me." Bhavya said.

"O knows!" Rudy said making Bhavya frown.

"Knows what?"

"About Gauri" He said.

"What about Gau-" Her eyes widened realising what Rudy said. "About Ishaa-"

"Everything! He was disappointed Bhavya! Everyone else knew and he was kept in the dark when the whole thing revolved around his life. I didn't want to add fuel to the fire so I tried explaining what Gauri felt. And he thinks I was acting as her brother and not his friend." Rudy said.

"We can't simply blame Gauri! What would expect her to do? She was shocked when Bhai addressed Ishaana as his Ajnabi and when Ishaana accepted it.... She lost it. What made bhai think Ishaana is his Ajnabi? Didnt you ask him?" Bhavya asked.

Rudy explained what actually happened.

"This was so much messed up! Oh my god! Why did my stupid brother  search about her? He should have listened to her. All these wouldn't have happened if he just obeyed her." Bhavya said irritated making Rudy chuckle.

"You girls are too complicated Bhavya!"

"We are not complicated Mr Ahuja! Your species are more complicated and you are making you less complicated in front of other giving us a label as girls are complicated. If he promised not to search about her then he shouldn't have did that. And now he is blaming Gauri?" Bhavya asked.

"He already told that I am only being Gauris brother and not his friend. Now you please dont go and tell this to him. He will label us as team Gauri!" Rudy said.

"I am always in team Gauri! I know what she went through!" Bhavya said and Rudy sighed.

The sunlight peeped in through the curtains disturbing her sleep. Lazily opening her eyes, she saw his naked form sleeping peacefully hugging her.

Last night's imaged came to her mind making her blush in the deepest shade of red. But soon it turned to a frown remembering their previous conversations. She felt him waking up.

He opened his eyes to see the woman of his life looking at him. He smiled at her. Her sleepy figure made him want more of her.

"Omkar-"

"Shhh!" He kept his forefinger on her lips making her stop.

"No more misunderstandings. I don't want you to leave me again. I was just angry and my ego made me tell those. Both of us were right and wrong at our place. Let's just forget the bad memories and start a new life Gauri! Me and you!-"

"And Riya!" Gauri completed with a soft smile.

"Our happy family!" He said and placed a kiss on her forehead.

She smiled and snuggled into him.

"By the way you were so wild yesterday!" He said teasing her.

She slapped on his shoulder playfully.

"Shut up! Don't make it awkward." She said with shy smile. He chuckled.

Being with her made him feel different. And he started liking this difference. He was sure that he was crazily, deeply, madly in love with his Miss Ajnabi!

Silently walking towards the kitchen Gauri started making juice for Riya. She noticed Bhavya and Pinky staring at her with a teasing smile.

"Uh-oh! Why are they looking at me like this? Was Omkara ji right? Was I too wild? Did they hear the sound or something?" Gauri wondered.

"Gauri! Did something bite you?" Bhavya said pointing towards the hickey on her collar bone with a smirk.

Gauris mouth went O! She quickly covered it with her hand.

"It must be mosquito Bhavya!" Pinky said teasing her more.

Gauri looked down in embarrassment.

"Here comes our mosquito!" Bhavya said seeing Om walking in.

Gauri glared at him and he gave a confused look.

"Bhai!" Bhavya called him dramatically.

He gave her a weird look. She went towards him.

"Kamre mein mosquitos are more na?" She asked.

He looked confused.

"Look bhai! I guess a big mosquito bite her." Bhavya said forcefully moving Gauris hand making her go all red again.

"Oh mos-" He stopped seeing what it really was. "Uh.... K....kya!? Haa I am coming. Riya is calling me."

He said quickly running out of the kitchen.

"I will come now!" Bhavya said and went behind him.

"Bhai!"

"Now don't tease me! I am elder than you." He tried sounding little serious.

Bhavya giggled.

"I am sorry bhai!" Bhavya said.

"You should be! I am elder and you shouldn't teas-"

"I am sorry for hiding it from you." Bhavya said looking down in guilt.

Om smiled and went towards her. He side hugged her.

"Thank you for not telling me anything. The way I knew about it is the best way to know about it. I found it out by myself!" He said with a proud smile. "If you told me I should have given you the credits! No way I would do that!" He said trying to make it funny.

Pinky went towards Gauri and carasses her cheeks.

"I am just happy that you both decided to start a fresh life. Just be happy like this." Pinky said.

"Maa-"

"I know about everything beta! Just keep him happy! And be happy! That's all I need." Pinky said.

Gauri hugged her tight.

"A hug without me? No way!" Bhavya said joining the hug.

Gauri smiled seeing Riya coming down in her night dress.

"Riya! Here is your juice." Gauri said placing the juice on the table.

Riya quickly went and hugged Gauri..

"What happened all of a sudden?" Om asked seeing Riya hugging Gauri.

"I saw a dream! Me and Dada were in a boat and you were in an island! Our boat went away leaving you in the island! I got scared. When I woke up I was at Bhavya auntys room. I got scared!" Riya said sobbing.

"Why are you crying bacha? Mumma won't leave you. I will always be there for you. You know na? Mumma loves you. Don't cry! Be a strong girl and drink the juice." Gauri said wiping her tears.

Riya nodded and started drinking the juice. Om went near her and took her on his lap.

"Dada! When I woke up today I was at Bhavya auntys room. But I actually slept in our room yesterday." Riya said with a confused face.

"Uh... Vo... Bhavya aunty was feeling scared to sleep alone. So she just took you with her for gaining courage." Om said nervously.

"Mumma!? What's on your neck?" Riya asked shocked.

Gauri mentally face palmed for not hiding it.

"Kuch nahi bacha! It's a mosquito bite!" Gauri said eyeing at Om. Om smiled sheepishly.

TWO MONTHS LATER

"Riya! Tell sorry to her." Gauri said strictly.

Riya made faces.

"Sorry!"

Vani grinned when a small idea popped up in her little brain.

"Gauri aunthy!" Vani went and hugged her.

"Kya hua bacha?" Gauri asked.

"You ale sho goodh!" Vani said kissing her cheeks making Riya more angry. Vani smirked cutely at Riya and hugged Gauri more.

"When can I shee chottu baby?" Vani asked Rudy.

"Soon bacha!" Rudy said.

"Rudy! Come with me. Your brother is going insane!" Om said with an irritated expression.

"Kya? Lekin Vani is alone here." Rudy said.

"Riya hai na vaha? She will take care of Vani. You come with me and handle your brother." Om said dragging Rudy from there.

Riya looked at Vani. She went towards Vani with baby steps.

"Sit!" Riya said pointing towards the chair.

Vani didn't say anything and went and sat on the seat. Riya went towards Vani to say something but stops and goes back.  She again goes near Vani but keeps quiet.

"Your mumma will he alright! Don't worry!" Riya said.

"And chottu baby?" Vani asked innocently.

"Chottu baby will also be fine." Riya said.

Vani smiled and got up from the seat and hugged Riya. Riya smiled a little but stopped smiling when Vani broke the hug and looked at her.

"Now stop clinging to me and sit there." Riya said with attitude like a teenager.

Vani giggled and went to the chair.

Rudy reached the canteen with Om to see Shivaay crying hysterically using the nth number of tissue from the tissue box.

"Bhaiyya! Ye kya hai?" Rudy asked.

He looked around to see people looking at Shivaay as if he was some alien.

"Anika will be alright na?" Shivaay asked like a small child.

"It is not the first time she is going to labour! Stop behaving like this." Om said irritated.

"Take this man away from my eyesight!" Shivaay yelled.

Om rolled his eyes.

"Bhaiyya! Bhabhi will be fine. You should be strong for her." Rudy said trying to calm him down.

"Where is my Anika! Anika!!!!" Shivaay yelled running towards the labour room.

"Is he drunk or something?" Om asked.

"During Vanis time it was worse. Bhabhi wasn't worried for her while going in. She told me to take care of him." Rudy said and chuckled.

Their smiling faces turned into one filled with horror.

"Wait! Will he go inside the labour room?" Om asked and the next second they ran to stop Shivaay.

Gauri and Om along with Riya looked at the baby boy. Gauri took him in her arms.

"Bhabhi! Don't get pregnant again! We can't handle your husband!" Rudy said looking at Shivaay who blinked like an innocent one.

"He was about to barge inside the labour room." Om said to which Anika glared at him.

Vani was sleeping on Rudys lap.  Om and Vani went towards Gauri who was holding the baby.

"Baby is so softy softy!" Riya said touching babys cheeks. "I want a baby brother." Riya said went back to the room to see Anika.

"See! She wants a baby brother! Mujhe bhi chaahiye!" Om whispered.

"Ask your mom and Dad!" Gauri said chuckling.

"Very funny!" Om said making faces.

"Not now Omkara ji! We just started our life and we have Riya to take care of. We won't be able to handle another baby now. Let Riya grow up." Gauri said.

"I know your fear. You are thinking if Riya will feel insecure na?" Om asked.

"I know Riya is a matured child. But she is possessive for me. She doesn't even like Vani near me. Then what will happen when another child comes? What if she thinks that we love her less? Don't you see how she is behaving with Vani?" Gauri asked.

"I don't know how to make you understand but-" He stopped looked at Riya who was with Vani who just woke up.

"Look at that." Om said.

Gauri saw Riya helping Vani to get up.

"She is a child Gauri! She will learn slowly." Om said hugging her by her shoulder.

She closed her eyes to feel the blissfull moment and she realised now she had the happy family which she always wished for.
