The next morning, fake Donald and the bionic trio arrived in a dark place.
- "So, this is where we'll be hiding out from the FBI. What do you think?" He smiled.
- "I think we should update our tetanus shots." Bree replied.
- "Hey, where are Leo, mom and Mads?" Chase asked. "I thought you said they'd be here."
- "Yeah, I kind of lied about that." The man pressed a button on the side of his neck and his face change to back to himself. "Guess who?" He chuckled.
No way! The genius boy frowned.
- "Whoa! Awesome mask, Dad!" Adam exclaimed. "He looks just like his evil brother who captured us."
- "That is his evil brother." The bionic girl replied.
- "And he did just capture us." The mission leader added.
- "Oh! Good one. I did not see that coming." The tall guy said.
Douglas smirked, proudly.
- "I don't get it. I thought you were an ice cube in Dad's warehouse. How did you get out?" Chase asked.
- "I had a little help." The evil genius replied.
- "It doesn't matter. We'll destroy this rat trap just like your last one." The Davenport girl said.
- "Yeah, thanks for that. I didn't even have time to back up my music. Twenty years of up-tempo jazz, gone!" Douglas yelled.
- "Yeah? Well, I know something else that's about to be gone." The genius boy smirked.
- "Yeah. Let's get his reggae, too." The eldest sibling nodded.
- "Get him!" Bree yelled.
- "Now!" The evil genius ordered.
A masked figure emerged and electrocuted the bionic trio, knocking them unconscious. "Told you I had a little help." He chuckled, and gently, tapped the man's chest. The masked man glared at him. "Sorry, babe." He stepped back.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the bionic trio regained consciousness with Douglas standing over them.
- "Wakey-wakey. Eggs and bac-y." He said. "Actually, it's just an expression. All we have to eat around here are nuts, berries and... the occasional barbecued iguana."
- "Taunting us with non-existent breakfast foods? You really are evil!" Adam yelled. "But I will take that barbecued iguana."
- "Wait! Who was that guy?" Chase asked.
- "Oh, that's right. You haven't been formally introduced to my partner-slash-boyfriend." The evil genius said.
Boyfriend? The genius boy frowned. Okay, Mads keeping THIS secret from us is fine. It definitely wasn't her place to say his sexuality.
- "Krane, come say hi to the kids." Douglas added.
- "Wait, now we have three dads?" The tall guy questioned.
The masked figure emerged.
- "After I was booted from Davenport Industries, I needed cash to continue my research. Luckily, I found a billionaire who believed in me." The evil genius explained. "Say hello to my lover, colleague, benefactor, and all-around bad guy, Victor Krane."
- "Why is he wearing a mask?" The eldest sibling asked. The man took off his mask, revealing a horribly disfigured face. "Ugh." He frowned, in disgust.
- "Babe, I have got to get you into a dermatologist." Douglas said.
- "What is that stuff all over his face?" Bree questioned.
- "You are no longer the only humans with bionics." The bald man said.
- "Krane agreed to fund my work so long as I shared my research with him. He implants every piece of bionic technology I design to make himself more powerful." The evil genius explained.
- "Well, I hope he got a good personality, 'cause what's on the outside: Yikes." The genius boy chuckled.
- "Enough!" The blue-eyed man shouted. "Let's go. You have work to do." He walked away.
- "Isn't he cool?" Douglas chuckled, excited.
- "You can cart out all the freaks you want. It's not going to keep us here." The bionic girl replied.
- "Oh, I beg to differ." The evil genius pressed a button and two titanium rings rose from the floor, spinning around the trio.
- "Whoa, cool. Giant ring toss!" Adam laughed. "Gotta give you credit, you're evil, but fun!"
- "They're titanium energy rings. They create an impenetrable force field that nothing can escape." Douglas explained.
- "I smell a challenge." Adam sang, before kicking the rings, only to be shocked by the force field. "AAAH!" He screamed, in pain.
- "I smell burning flesh." The evil genius sang.
- "What do you want with us this time, Douglas?" The Davenport girl asked.
- "Oh no, I'm not falling for that. First I tell you my plan, then something goes wrong, then you use it against me, not gonna happen!" Douglas exclaimed.
- "If Mads was here, she would probably say: 'Finally, a villain with half a brain.'." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
The older siblings nodded.
- "I don't have half a brain!" The evil genius yelled.
- "So, nothing?" Bree smirked.
- "No! I have a full big brain!" Douglas shouted.
- "It doesn't matter what you're planning. I'm sure that Dad is looking for us already. He'll be here any minute to take us home." Chase replied.
- "Oh yeah, there's no place like home." The evil genius chuckled. "No, seriously. There's no place like home. I blew it up!" He showed them the footage from the destroyed lab.
- "You destroyed our lab?" The bionic girl asked.
- "Yup. Hope you backed up your music libraries." Douglas mocked, before walking away.
If Mads was in the explosion, I will rip his head off. The genius boy locked his jaw.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the trio walked into the living room of the Davenport mansion. Donald rushed to hug his wife.
- "Please, don't text 'Hurry home' when we're in a helicopter, I left my lunch all over the Rosenblatts' roof." Leo said.
- "You have such a weak stomach." Maddie patted his back.
- "Shut it." The short boy replied.
- "So, what happened? Where are the kids?" The mother asked.
- "Douglas got to them before we did." The father explained.
- "Your brother, again? Okay, you are done complaining about my mother." The journalist replied.
- "We have no idea where they are, but they're smart, they will figure out a way to escape." The scientist said. The childhood best friends glared at him. "Well, two of them will."
- "I do have some good news. The FBI finished their investigation and proved you were cyber hacked." Tasha smiled.
- "So, I'm getting all my money back?" Donald asked, excited.
- "...No. All the money was stolen, you're still broke." The mother said.
- "But I'm getting all my stuff back, right? My boats, my cars, my planes?" The father asked.
- "Just the house. Everything else including Davenport industries is gone. But the good news is that now, we can all move back in together!" The journalist exclaimed and wrapped her arms around the best friend's shoulders.
The two smiled at the man.
- "Not even like a jet-ski or a motorcycle with one wheel?" The scientist questioned.
- "So, what are you going to do about the kids?" Tasha asked.
- "Well, they're not gonna come back here because they still don't think it's safe." The Davenport boy said. "I just wish there was some way we could get a message to them and let them know everything's alright."
- "We have to be able to send a message to Chase." The alien girl added.
- "Well, the only thing I can do remotely is update Chase's software. Wait. Maybe that's it!" Donald exclaimed. "Maybe I can embed a cyber message into the update. Leo, find us a computer!"
- "Got it." Leo glanced around the empty room.
- "I got it." The Matthews girl teleported to her house and bring back her mother's laptop. "Here." She handed it to the scientist.
- "Is there anything I can do?" The mother asked.
- "Tasha, now is not the time for jokes." The father put his hand on his wife's shoulder.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the bionic trio was still trapped by the titanium energy rings.
- "I can't believe the lab is gone. That's our home!" Bree yelled at Douglas.
- "If anything happened to our family, I will end you." Chase threatened.
- "We're not the only ones who spend too much time with Maddie." The bionic girl said.
I guess I do. The genius boy, mentally, smiled. And I don't mind.
- "Yeah! Then, we'll put your body in an old-lady dress, so everyone laughs during your funeral." Adam replied.
- "Guys, guys, I understand you're mad. But what's done is done!" The evil genius exclaimed. "And your girlfriend is fine, Chase. We'll go get her, soon enough."
- "Girlfriend?" The tall guy frowned.
- "Yeah, Maddison." Douglas said.
- "She's not his girlfriend." The Davenport girl smiled.
- "What?" The evil genius asked. "Why didn't you correct me, last time? I spend the entire day calling her your girlfriend!"
That's a good question. The green hazel-eyed boy thought. Why didn't I correct him?
- "Yeah, Chase. Why didn't you correct him?" The eldest sibling smirked.
- "Um..." The mission leader blushed brightly, before clearing his throat. "We were just playing along, so we would capture you."
- "Uh-uh." The two older siblings grinned.
- "So, let's focus on moving forward together. First order of business, what do you say we make Monday's family game night?" Douglas asked.
- "This guy, still evil, still fun." Adam smiled.
The evil genius smiled, proudly, before walking away.
- "Guys, something's happening to me. I'm getting a tingling sensation." Chase said.
- "Aw, you hear that, Bree? Pretty soon, he'll have a baby mustache." The tall guy mocked.
- "Aw!" Bree put her finger under her younger brother's nose to mock him.
The genius boy pushed her hand away, annoyed.
- "No! I just got a software update on my chip. That's really weird. Why would I just..." He started, before realizing. "Wait. Dad must be trying to send us a message." He put his fingers on his temple and projected a holographic image of Donald and Maddie.
Aw, Mads. He smiled.
- "Guys, I know Douglas has you." The father whispered. "Leo, Maddie and I are doing everything we can to find you. But if you can escape, come home. Perry has agreed to keep our bionic and alien secret." He explained.
- "Yeah, and next time, you run away. Use your brains and warn us, before!" The alien girl whisper-yelled.
The green hazel-eyed boy snickered.
- "Can we do that again? I just feel like this hologram makes me look fat." The scientist gestured to his body.
- "Oh my god." The Matthews girl slapped her forehead.
The projection ended.
- "Dad's okay!" The mission leader exclaimed.
- "Was he wearing guy-liner?" The bionic girl asked.
- "Now, we just have to find a way to get out of here." Chase said.
- "What if I use my blast wave abilities to destroy the rings?" The eldest sibling asked.
- "But if you do that, you'll destroy the rings and everything around us, including us." The Davenport girl replied.
- "But we'll be free." Adam smiled.
- "Here's an idea: How 'bout we come up with a plan where we escape and survive?" The genius boy asked.
- "Wait a second, if these rings are titanium, can't you just use your magnetism app to repel them apart?" Bree asked.
- "Douglas would expect that, just like he would expect me to use my molecular kinesis to manipulate them." The green hazel-eyed boy crossed his arms.
- "So, do both. He wouldn't expect that." The tall guy replied.
- "Adam, you can't use two abilities at the same time." The mission leader said.
- "Why not?" The bionic girl questioned.
- "Because..." Chase started. "I don't know. We've never tried it before."
- "Well, I say you try it now and if your head explodes, the survivors will move on to Plan B." The eldest sibling replied.
- "You know, I hate when Mads hurts you, but right now, I wish she was here." The genius boy smirked.
- "Gnagnagna." Adam mocked.
- "Okay. I'll give it a try. Activating magnetism app." The green hazel-eyed began manipulating the rings with his left hand. "And molecular kinesis." He raised his right hand.
The two older siblings ducked.
- "Focus, Chase." The tall guy whispered.
The mission leader dropped his hands.
- "When you tell me to focus, it makes me not focus!" He raised his hands again.
- "You can do it!" The Davenport girl exclaimed.
- "Stop talking!" Chase yelled. He bent the rings so that they flew apart and away from them.
- "Way to go, Chase!" Bree yelled.
- "Oh, man. Thought for sure his head was gonna explode." The eldest sibling sighed. The genius boy passed out. "Eh, that's better than nothing."
- "Help me carry him!" The bionic girl grabbed his foot. "Oh, wait. He's light. I got it." She dragged him out of the warehouse as they escaped.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the two evil men walked back in.
- "They escaped." Krane growled.
- "Doesn't matter. While they were knocked out, I reinstalled their Triton App. I'll finally be able to override their bionic infrastructure, remotely." Douglas explained.
- "This better work. I paid you a lot of money for your little Triton App." The blue-eyed man said.
- "Oh, it'll work. Get ready. 'Cause you're about to find out what this Triton App can really do. Adam, Bree, and Chase are completely under my control." The evil genius laughed. "You got a little iguana there." He licked his thumb and went to wipe the corner of his boyfriend's lips.
The bald-man slapped his hand, away.
- "Focus." He said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, at the mansion, the Davenports men and Maddie walked to Tasha, who was unpacking boxes.
- "Still no word from the kids?" She asked.
- "No." Donald replied.
- "You're a tech whiz. Isn't there something else you can do, like send them a text alert, or friend request, or have them paged?" The mother questioned.
- "I'll be honest, sometimes, I wonder how you two ended up together." Leo said.
- "Opposite attract." The alien girl shrugged.
- "Look, all we can do is hope they got the cyber message. Until then, we just have to wait." The father put his hand on his wife's back to make her sit down.
- "We're home!" Bree opened the door.
- "Well, that didn't take long." The short boy smiled.
- "She is the fastest person on the planet. Of course, it didn't take long." The Matthews girl replied.
Chase rushed to hug his father, and Adam hugged Maddie.
- "Little lady." He whispered.
- "Hi, big guy." The blue-eyed girl murmured.
- "Oh, I'm so glad you're safe. I was so worried." Tasha hugged her daughter.
The genius boy, then, went to hug his brother, while the bionic girl hugged the scientist and the tall guy hugged their mother.
Bree, then, hugged her best friend and her brother, while Chase hugged their mother.
- "You, guys, okay?" Donald asked, before hugging his eldest son.
- "We're fine, but we met Douglas' partner-slash-boyfriend." The green hazel-eyed boy replied. "Hey, Mads." He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
- "I'm glad, you're okay." The alien girl sighed against his neck.
- "Eh, give it six months. Big one's super high maintenance." The eldest sibling said.
- "He might be." The Matthews girl pulled away from her best friend. "But, they've been dating-slash-working together for sixteen years, so."
- "I knew that Douglas was dating someone back then. But I had no idea, he was a mad man." The father replied.
- "He's some crazy billionaire named Victor Krane, and he's implanting himself with bionics." Chase explained. "His face is disturbing!"
- "His face is really disturbing. He could definitely use some of your man makeup." The bionic girl smiled.
- "I don't wear... It's bronzer!" The scientist defended.
- "So, Dee was right." Leo said.
- "You were doubting?" Maddie raised her eyebrows.
- "I would never." The short boy shook his head.
- "You better." The alien girl snickered.
God, how I missed her. The genius boy smiled.
- "I've never even heard of him, but I'm gonna find out who he is and how to stop him." Donald said.
- "You, guys, must be starving. I'll get dinner started." Tasha smiled.
- "Look at this. Things are finally getting back to normal." Leo replied.
Everyone unpack boxes, except Chase, whose eyes turned green.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the lair, the two men were watching everything through Chase's eyes.
- "Chase's Triton App is up and running. Once I activate Adam and Bree, they'll do whatever we want. Time to have some fun. Chest bump!" Douglas tried to chest bump Krane but fell to the ground. "You know what? I'll just activate Adam and Bree." He groaned, in pain, as he got up. "I'm fine, by the way."
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes later, the teenagers were sitting on the couch. They were listening to Leo, explaining what they did for the last two days.
Suddenly, Chase got up and stared at Leo.
- "Hey, what's up with your eyes?" He asked, before being lifted by his brother. "Hey! Hey! Easy on the chest hairs. I only have two."
- "Chase?" Maddie frowned.
- "Adam, Bree, you're up." Douglas said, in his tablet.
The older siblings' eyes turned green and they stood up.
- "This fridge is empty. Why don't I just whip up a little tuna surprise?" Tasha asked. Adam picked up his father and threw him across the room. "Adam, please don't throw him. You know how delicate your father is."
Bree positioned herself in front of her best friend.
- "Douglas, next time, I see you, you will suffer." The alien girl said.
- "What's happening?" The short boy asked.
- "Douglas must've enabled their Triton app. Look at their eyes. He's controlling them." Donald explained.
- "Mom, watch out!" Leo yelled as his sister super speeded, menacingly, towards their mother.
Tasha moved out of her way, causing the bionic girl to fell behind the kitchen counter.
- "Forget the tuna, I'm about to open up a can of Bree surprise." The journalist said.
The Davenport girl got up, and the four ran away from the bionic trio.
- "Stop moving, you, idiots!" Maddie yelled after them. "I can put a shield around us."
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes later, in the lair of the two evil men, they were still watching through the trio's eyes.
- "Your brother figured that out pretty quickly." Krane said.
- "I know! He's a genius. Been hearing it my whole life." Douglas replied. "But I'm a genius too. With much better hair."
- "I didn't pay you 80 million dollars for your hair!" The blue-eyed man answered.
- "I know, it's just a bonus." The evil genius smiled. "Oh, would it kill you to crack a smile? Oh, actually, it might, you're pretty wired up there." He gestured to the bald man's face.
- "It's time to end this!" He reached for the device, but Douglas grabbed it before he can.
- "Only I touch the device!" He said.
Krane glared at him.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the four were walking around the house, on their tip toes.
- "I think we lost them." Donald whispered.
The elevator opened, behind them. The three Davenport screamed as they saw Adam behind them, who fired heat vision at them. They ran away.
Maddie shook her head, in despair. They don't want to listen and stop, I'm not gonna force them.
- "Why are they trying to hurt us?" Tasha asked.
- "It's not them, it's Douglas. Let's get out of here." The father replied.
The three ran towards the front door. Chase moved a box in front of the door to block it.
They tried to run towards the hallway, but Bree super speeded to block them.
The genius boy made a box fly towards them.
- "Okay, you and your brother just need to hug this out!" Leo shouted.
The bionic trio, menacingly, walked towards the three, who separated and ran away.
The alien girl chuckled as she sat on the couch.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, in the lair, Douglas was laughing.
- "Enough with the games. Finish them off." Krane ordered.
- "But I love tormenting my brother!" The evil genius chuckled.
The bald-man grabbed the device.
- "Destroy them now!" He yelled in the tablet. Douglas tried to take it. "80 million bucks? I'm touching the device!"
- "Okay." The evil genius raised his hand, in the air.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, Bree started attacking Maddie, who only dodged because she did not want to hurt her best friend. The parents were behind the kitchen counter, using pans to deflect their eldest son's lasers. Leo was being chased by his youngest brother.
- "Why aren't you going after Adam? He's the one who always picks on you." The short boy said as he got in between two boxes. "Quick, Adam! Make a short joke! Tell him he's got a doll-like body!" Chase used his molecular kinesis to lift a heavy box above his brother's head. "No, no, no. Chase, no."
- "Donald! Maddie! Do something!" Tasha yelled.
- "I'm a little busy over here!" The alien girl replied as she dodged a kick from the bionic girl.
- "Chase, don't drop it!" Donald yelled. "Listen to me. The Triton app only controls your bionics. Not your human side. You have to fight it!"
- "Yes, Chase. Remember? All the great times we had? All the cool inventions we built?" The short boy started. "The time Trent made us bob for apples in the bathroom?" Everyone frowned. "Okay, that wasn't really cool, but we did it together. And then, we laughed when Dee kicked his ass." The mission leader moved the box, closer to his brother's head. "It's not working!"
- "Keep trying! It's our only chance!" The father yelled.
- "I'm the one who showed you the real world and introduced you to your best friend, Chase. I taught you what it means to be a brother." Leo said. "A good one. Not like Adam is to you. Remember when I found you in the lab? Our first day of school? When we won the robot throwdown? Oh, I still have the picture!" He took out his phone and showed it to his brother. "Here. See?"
- "Try and remember, Chase." The scientist said.
- "Yeah, see? You, me? Together? Brothers? Come on, Chase. I know my brother's in there. Where is he, Chase? Where is my brother?" The short boy yelled.
Chase lowered the box, when suddenly, the Triton app deactivated. He threw the box away.
- "Honestly, I did not think that was gonna work." Donald said, causing his wife to smack his arm.
The genius boy fainted.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the two men were looking at the screen, angrily.
- "Oh, come on!" Douglas shouted, frustrated.
- "I'm beginning to think I backed the wrong Davenport." Krane said.
- "You know, some boyfriends would actually encourage each other. I know what I'm doing!" The evil genius took the device. "We're still in control! Adam, Bree, take care of Chase! Happy?"
- "Do I look happy?" The bald-man asked.
- "You know, I can never tell with you." Douglas replied. "You should be more expressive, mostly, in bed."
Krane glared at him.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes later, the three Davenports helped the youngest get up.
- "My head is killing me." He held his head, in pain.
- "It was Douglas' Triton App." Leo replied.
- "He probably doesn't remember anything." Donald explained.
- "Dee, try with Bree!" The short boy yelled at his best friend, who was still fighting Bree.
- "Okay!" Maddie shouted.
- "Why is Bree attacking Mads?" Chase frowned.
- "Douglas is controlling them." The father said.
The Davenport girl walked towards her youngest brother.
- "No, way! You're not touching him!" The blue-eyed girl, violently, pulled her back.
I love when she gets protective. The green hazel-eyed boy smiled.
Adam, menacingly, walked up to his brother.
- "Adam? What's wrong with your eyes?" The genius boy asked.
- "Douglas is controlling him, too. You have to fight back!"
- "I can't fight him! He's my..." The mission leader started, but was cut off by his brother shooting at his stomach with his heat vision.
- "Fight!" Leo yelled.
The three human Davenports hid behind the couch.
- "Can't you help us?" The mother turned to the alien girl, who was still fighting her best friend.
- "Oh, so, now, you are ready to listen?" She asked. The three nodded. "Then, stop moving, so I can put a shield around you!"
They listened and stood still as Maddie put a shield around them, before Bree lunged at her.
- "Hey, B. Come on, it's me! Your best friend!" The bionic girl attacked her, and the alien girl blocked her arms from behind. "The only person, who knows your deepest, most intimate secret." She whispered. The Davenport girl pushed her away. "The person, who supported you against your rebellion with Perry! The person who, helped you destroy Owen for the dance! The person with who, you have a lot of slumber parties!" She dodged her best friend's punch. "Come on, B!"
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, across the room, Chase used his molecular kinesis to push a box towards his brother. Adam, angrily, pushed the box aside.
- "Uh-oh." Leo said.
The tall guy fired his heat vision at his youngest brother, who used his force field to stop it. Adam walked towards his brother, causing him to step back.
- "Adam's too strong! Chase can't hold out much longer!" Donald exclaimed.
- "I have a question, why am I holding you in my arms?" Tasha asked with her arms, wrapped around her husband.
The genius boy yelled, in pain, as he struggled to keep his force field up.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, in the lair, the two evil men were watching the show.
- "Dial up his power!" Krane yelled.
- "But it's not safe! That could really damage him." Douglas replied.
- "Now!" The blue-eyed man yelled as he, aggressively, grabbed the device from his boyfriend's hands.
- "You know, there's a nicer way to say that." The evil genius said.
Krane dialed up the power while glaring at Douglas, who shook his head, in despair.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the living room, Chase was still struggling to keep his force field up while his brother shot his heat vision.
- "Adam, stop! You're hurting him!" Leo yelled.
- "Can't you just talk him out of it, like Leo did with Chase?" Tasha asked her husband.
- "There's no time!" Donald replied.
- "Wait, if Douglas is controlling them, can't Chase do the same thing? He's got that override app that takes over their bionics in emergencies." The short boy explained.
- "It's too dangerous, he can't use two abilities at the same time!" The father said.
- "No! I've done it before." The genius boy answered.
- "Wait, why would you do that?! It puts too much stress on your system, you're lucky to be alive!" The scientist yelled.
- "Hey, why don't you yell at him when he's not FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE!!!" The middle son shouted.
- "I've got no choice! I have to try!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled, before raising one of his hands to try and touch his temple.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Across the room, Bree titled her head as she looked at her best friend.
- "That's it, baby. Come back!" Tasha yelled.
- "Yes!" The Matthews girl exclaimed. "And Tasha, who has been your mother since the first day, without caring about your bionics!" The bionic girl blinked several times. "Come on, Bree! Fight it! We need you!" The Davenport girl lunged at her. "I want my sister back!" Maddie pushed her away.
Bree tilted her head as her eyes turned back to their brown color, before fainting.
The alien girl sighed, in relief, as she caught her best friend before she hit the ground. She, slowly, laid her best friend on the couch.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, across the room, Chase was struggling to keep his force field up.
- "I believe in you, Chase!" Leo shouted.
- "Stop talking!" The mission leader exclaimed, before touching his temple with his right hand while keeping his force field up with his left hand.
- "Hurry! Your force field's about to collapse!" The short boy exclaimed.
- "See? I told you, when he uses two abilities at the same time..." Donald started.
- "Shut it!" Leo and Tasha, simultaneously, shouted.
- "Activating override app." Chase connected to Adam and shut him down.
His Triton App disabled and he passed out.
- "Yes!" The short boy smiled.
- "He did it!" The father exclaimed.
The three human Davenport walked towards the genius boy. Maddie super speeded towards him and crushed against his as she pulled him into a hug.
- "Thank God, you're okay." She sighed.
The green hazel-eyed boy smiled in the embrace as he buried his face into her neck.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, in the lair, the two men looked at the screen.
- "No!" They, simultaneously, yelled.
- "I can fix this. I'll just update the Triton app." Douglas said.
- "Do it. When you're done, destroy Adam, Bree, and Chase." Krane replied. "And their little bionic friend."
- "What?" The evil genius frowned.
- "You heard me, genius." The blue-eyed man said.
- "But that was never part of my plan." Douglas replied.
- "Your plan?" Krane chuckled. "Your plan is done. We're going with my plan now." He flipped over the table and walked away.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the seven were in the elevator towards the destroyed lab.
- "This Krane person seems extremely dangerous, and having Douglas still out there, we're all gonna have to watch our backs more than ever." Donald said.
- "Quick question, um, is anyone on your side of the family not a deranged maniac?" Bree asked.
Maddie snickered.
- "Do you guys remember anything when that Triton App thingy was going?" Tasha questioned.
- "Mom, we just got home, what's with the third degree?" Adam replied.
Everyone chuckled.
The elevator dang.
- "Guys, what you're about to see is pretty disturbing." The father said.
Chase, gently, took his best friend's hand in his. God, I've missed doing that.
I love when he does this. The alien girl smiled, softly, at their interlaced fingers. His hand is so freaking soft.
The doors opened and everyone walked into the destroyed lab.
- "Wow." The bionic girl said, sadly.
- "The whole reason I built this place was to protect you, and I couldn't even do that. I feel like I failed you." The scientist replied.
- "Well, I'm glad someone said it." The tall guy shrugged. The Matthews girl smacked his arm. "I've missed you, little lady." He smiled.
- "Sadly, I did." Maddie chuckled, before side-hugging him.

- "You didn't fail us. If you hadn't brought us together as a family, and let us live like normal kids, we would never have been able to defeat the Triton App." The genius boy explained.
- "Thanks, guys." Donald smiled as he wrapped his arm around his youngest son and his wife. "You're right. I am handsome and brilliant."
- "I didn't..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.
- "No, no. Let him go, it's how he copes." Leo replied.
The seven hugged.
