Almost two weeks later, the mentors were in the common area. It was a hot day, so Chase took the cold hands of the girl he loved and put them under his shirt on his abs.

- "That's better." He sighed.

Maddie chuckled as she leaned forward on his back.

- "What? When you were in solar flare, you used me, now it's my turn." The genius boy murmured as he turned his head to look at her.

- "Use me all you want." The alien girl whispered in his ear from behind.

The green hazel-eyed blushed brightly.

- "Mads." He glared at her.

- "God, your mind is dirty." The Matthews girl mocked.

I know. Chase rolled his eyes, amused.

- "Ugh, I am so happy Dad gave everyone the day off, because it is way too hot to train." Bree said.

- "Yeah, well, lucky for you, your brother's a bionic air conditioner." Adam replied.

- "Ugh, Adam, nobody wants your disgusting breath blowing all over..." The genius boy started.

- "What about mine?" Maddie raised her eyebrows as she got up in front of them. "I have freeze breath, I could help you, guys, including you Adam.

- "Yes!" Leo exclaimed.

The siblings stood in front of her. The alien girl blew her freeze breath on them, enough to cool them down, but not enough to freeze them.

- "Oh, good heavens, that is so much better!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled as he turned around and lifted his shirt. "Get my back! Get my back!"

The parents arrived via the hydraloop.

- "Hey, guys." Tasha said. The teenagers all ran over to hug her. "Hi."

- "Hey, mom." The middle brother smiled.

- "Hey." The mother smiled back.

- "What are you doing here in the middle of the week? Did you finally give up that too big job as a local news reporter?" Leo asked.

The journalist glared at him.

- "No, she did not." The Matthews girl whispered to her childhood best friend.

- "Oh. Good to see you, mom!" The middle brother, awkwardly, exclaimed.

- "Ahem!" The father cleared his throat. "Everybody, I have a very important announcement. I... Donald Davenport... am the first person to create a livable environment on another planet."

- "What?" The bionic girl frowned.

- "Behold...my very own space colony." The scientist showed them an image on the monitor.

- "Whoa!" The tall guy smiled.

- "Wow!" The Davenport girl added.

- "That's amazing!" Tasha exclaimed.

- "You colonized a planet? Why didn't you tell me?" Chase asked.

- "Because it was top secret, and because every time I tell you guys anything, you blow it up, burn it down, crack it in half, or sink it." Donald explained.

- "That's fair." Maddie said.

- "Hey, that is not...Yeah, it is true." The eldest teenager agreed.

- "Mm-hmm." The father nodded.

- "Looks cool. Is that Mars?" Bree asked.

- "That's not Mars." The alien girl shook her head.

- "Please. Mars? Mars is for amateurs. I colonized a planet in an entirely different galaxy." The scientist explained. "Oh, by the way, did I mention I discovered an entirely different galaxy?" He wrapped his arm around his youngest's shoulders.

- "How dare you?" The genius boy glared at his father, irritated.

The alien girl hugged his waist and rested her head on his shoulder as she continued to look at the screen.

The green hazel-eyed boy relaxed and wrapped his arms around her back.

- "The planet is called Lithios, and this high-tech dome mimics the Earth's environment, providing oxygen and gravity to 50 colonists that I hand-picked for the project." Donald continued. "I'm also the honorary mayor of the colony, which I have named Davenportia."

Everyone rolled their eyes.

- "Shocking." The bionic girl sassed.

- "Those colonists have been living there for almost a month, and they are lovin' every Daven minute of it. And pretty soon, you will all get to meet them. That's right. We are going on a family vacation to space!" The father exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around his wife's shoulders.

- "You told me we were going to Greece." The mother crossed her arms.

- "Well, Davenportia is the Greece of space." The scientist replied. "Anyway, so it'll be a lot cooler there. It is way too hot here today."

- "Oh, no worries. I got you covered." The eldest teenager used his enhanced lung capacity and, accidentally, blew Donald across the room, sending him crashing to the floor.

Everyone frowned.

- "That's gonna leave a Daven stain." Leo said.

Later, everyone was wearing suits with the ship's logo. The girls had their hair tied up and everyone had taken off their jewelry. Except the parents, who had kept their alliances and Maddie, who had kept Chase's ring from her birthday. Donald led the six into his spacecraft.

- "This is it. Welcome to my intergalactic spacecraft; my pride and joy." He smiled. "Isn't she beautiful?"

- "Wow! I never thought I'd be jealous of a spaceship." Tasha said.

- "Oh, come on, honey, don't be jealous. You don't stand a chance against this thing." The father replied.

The mother smacked his arm, playfully.

- "I'm kidding, my love." The scientist smiled and kissed her cheek.

- "You better be." The journalist nodded.

- "Man, I can't believe this spaceship's been under the island all this time." Adam said.

- "Well, that explains why he didn't make us live in the basement." Bree replied.

- "Dad, this is awesome." Chase patted his father's back. "If I was a nerd, I'd totally be geeking out right now."

- "Three." Maddie, behind him, mouthed as she counted with her fingers. "Two. One." She pointed at him.

The genius boy laughed in, excitedly.

Everyone snickered.

- "Cool." Leo walked over to a metal suit on the wall. "What's that?"

- "Oh, that's my high-velocity escape suit. It's made out of an ultra-protective material that will allow me to fly back to Earth in case we encounter any kind of emergency while in space." Donald explained.

- "Wait, but there's only one suit. What about the rest of us?" The bionic girl asked.

- "The rest of you better hope there's no emergencies." The father laughed.

- "We'll teleport." The alien girl shrugged.

The tall guy walked up to them, wearing the helmet.

- "I am Zolton, leader of the planet Darkom." He said in a deep voice. "Bow to me, puny inferior being."

- "Adam." The green hazel-eyed boy started.

- "Who is this Adam you speak of? I am Zolton!" The eldest teenager continued with his deep voice.

- "Adam!" Chase yelled.

- "Zolton!" Adam shouted.

- "Give me that helmet." The genius boy ordered.

- "No, I will not. Zolton does not understand the human language." The tall guy replied.

- "Oh, but he speaks it?" The green hazel-eyed boy, sarcastically, asked.

The Matthews girl snickered.

- "He got you there, buddy." She smiled.

- "Zolton will get back to you when he has an answer for that." The eldest teenager walked away.

- "Okay, people, listen up. As your mission leader, it's my responsibility to inform you of what to do in case of an emergency." Chase explained. "Since we'll be traveling at speeds greater than 186,000 miles per second..."

- "Blah blah blah. I got this." Adam cut him off, before clearing his throat. "Ahem. Ladies and gentlemen, there are two exits on the aircraft: one in the front and in the rear."

The genius boy grimaced and did a 'blablabla' gesture.

- "In the event of a water landing, Chase can be used as a flotation device." The tall guy continued.

- "Oh, haha..." The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

The eldest teenager jumped on his back and started screaming as everyone laughed, before he finally got off.

- "Okay! Mads, Bree, Leo, Mom, Dad, you're all up front with me." Chase said, angrily. "Adam, you're in the back."

- "What? Why am I in the back?" Adam asked.

- "Because, you are so immature, you can't even pay attention to my safety directives. And I don't feel like traveling across two galaxies hearing, 'Ooh, what does this button do?' 800 times!" The genius boy shouted.

- "Chase, breathe." Maddie caressed his back.

- "I'm not immature. And for your information, I know what all these buttons do. Like this one right here works the windshield wipers." The tall guy walked up to the console.

- "Adam, no!" The scientist yelled.

The eldest teenager pressed a button and the ship took off from the island, everyone, but the alien girl, screamed.

- "Chase, what do we do in an emergency again?" He asked.

Later, everyone was sitting at their seats.

- "Wow. Look at the moon." Leo said, in awe.

Adam sighed.

- "Are we there yet?" He asked.

- "No." Donald replied.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the spacecraft passed another planet.

- "Wow. Look at Saturn." Bree smiled.

- "It's so beautiful." Maddie said.

- "It is." Chase looked at her.

The alien girl, without looking at him, used her index to make his head turn towards the window.

The genius boy chuckled.

- "Are we there yet?" Adam asked, irritated.

- "No!" Donald yelled.

Later, the spacecraft passed in front of another planet.

- "Are we there yet?" Adam asked, annoyed.

- "Adam, if you ask 'are we there yet?' one more time, I swear I'm gonna lose it." Chase said, irritated.

- "Okay, sorry." The tall guy mocked. "How much longer till we get there?"

The genius boy jumped out of his seat and tried to attack his eldest brother. The middle siblings and the father tried to hold him back.

- "Relax!" Leo yelled.

Maddie wrapped her arms around the waist of the boy she loved and pulled him away, making him sit back.

- "Ignore him." She said.

- "A little hard to." The green hazel-eyed boy sighed.

The alien girl interlaced her fingers with his.

- "Relax." She smiled.

Chase nodded.

- "Everybody relax! Now that we've left the solar system, we can initiate hyper-speed." Donald explained.

- "What's hyper-speed?" Tasha asked.

- "This." The father, excitedly, pressed a button.

The spacecraft speeded forward and they all screamed.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

After the spacecraft landed, they all walked into a tunnel, until they reached the colony.

- "Welcome to Davenportia." Donald smiled. "Isn't it beautiful? Ah, who needs Greece when you can come here?"

- "It's lovely. But if you really wanna make it up to me, you should rename it Tashadonia." Tasha said.

- "Oh, honey, you know I love me more than I love you." The father replied.

- "You're sleeping on the couch, tonight." The mother smiled.

- "No, I'm sorry." The scientist's smile dropped. "Okay, how about thus: the next colony I build will be called Tashadonia?"

- "Deal." The journalist nodded.

Donald smiled and kissed her neck, gently.

- "This is so cool!" Maddie exclaimed. "Last time, I was on another planet than Earth, I was two months old."

- "Hey, what's this big bubble for?" Adam pointed above them.

- "It's not a bubble. It's a dome." Chase replied.

- "Don't care. Still wanna pop it." The tall guy shook his head.

- "Well, you can't. It protects everything in here from the planet's natural elements. Without that dome, there'd be no oxygen, and all the colonists would die." The genius boy explained.

- "Donald, that sounds dangerous." Tasha said.

- "It is. That's why I didn't tell these guinea pigs until after they signed their paperwork." The father smiled, before he saw two colonists. "Hi. How you doing?"

- "I don't care if you're not the waiter. I want more space pancakes." Perry complained, from a table.

- "You've got to be kidding me." The alien girl sighed.

- "Perry?! What are you doing up here?" Leo frowned.

- "Wherever the bus stops, I get off." Terry shrugged.

- "Forget that, how did you get here?" The scientist asked.

- "I snuck up here weeks ago with the rest of these bozos. I can blend in anywhere. I spent three months on the South Korean gymnastics team." The head of security posed.

- "How dare you sneak up here uninvited?" The mother asked.

- "That's Tasha, the one I was telling you about." Perry said to a waiter.

- "That's a new low. Never been bad-mouthed on another planet before." The journalist said.

- "Oh, I doubt that's true." Terry laughed.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the childhood best friends were in the command center with Donald.

- "The command center is the electronic nervous system of Davenportia." He explained. "From this chair, I can monitor all the activity in the colony." He sat down.

- "Man, you old people will do anything to just sit around and watch TV all day." Leo frowned.

Maddie snickered and the childhood best friends fist-bumped.

The father glared at them.

The three others mentors walked in.

- "Love the colony, Dad." Bree said.

- "Thanks. This is just the beginning. Pretty soon, there will be Davenportias and Tashadonia throughout the universe." The scientist explained.

- "I don't know if aliens exist on the planets you're gonna chose, but if they do, they are gonna hate you." The bionic girl snickered.

Chase chuckled. Definitely.

- "I have a very important scientific question." Adam raised his hand. "While we're here, is it okay if I eat stuff off the ground?"

- "No." Donald replied.

- "Okay. Follow-up question. How do I regurgitate stuff I've eaten off the ground?" The tall guy asked.

- "You see? This is what I'm talking about. Mature people don't eat stuff off the ground." The genius boy said.

- "Normal people don't eat stuff off the ground." The alien girl corrected.

- "Dad, you better get over here. I think we have a problem." The middle brother frowned.

The computer screen was flashing 'Lost signal'.

- "Oh, no. The main communication satellite is down." The father said.

- "What happened?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.

- "I don't know. Something must've hit it. Asteroid, space debris." The scientist replied. "Now we have no way of communicating with the Earth. I need you four to take the spacecraft out and repair the satellite." He told to the original team. "Leo and I will stay here and re-establish contact once it's up and running."

- "Let's go." Chase ordered. The three youngest of the original team started to leave the room, but stopped to see the eldest teenager picking off something from his granola bar. "Adam, he just told you not to eat stuff off the floor up here."

- "Relax. I got this off the floor at home." Adam said.

The genius boy grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the room.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the original team was in the spacecraft. Chase was wearing a space suit.

- "All right, we're at the satellite. Adam, help me put on my jetpack." He said.

- "Sure, but first, there's something I've always wanted to try. Blowin' a bubble in zero gravity." Adam turned off gravity and the siblings started to float. Maddie chuckled as she looked at their shocked expressions, her feet still on the ground. He popped his gum and made a bubble that floated through the spacecraft. "Whoa! Awesome!"

- "That is so cool!" Bree exclaimed, receiving a glared from her youngest brother. "Childish... but cool."

- "More bubbles comin' up." The tall guy blew one more bubble.

- "Adam, stop. If that gum gets on any of the equipment, Dad is gonna freak out." The genius boy explained.

- "He's right." The alien girl nodded.

The eldest laughed as he looked at the bubbled.

- "Adam!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled. "That's it!" He floated over to his brother and popped one of his bubbles.

- "Hey! You're a black hole of fun." Adam turned the gravity back on, causing his brother to fall to the floor.

The two eldest siblings laughed as they fell on their feet.

- "Oh." The Matthews girl frowned as she helped him up. "You're okay?"

- "Yeah." Chase nodded. "Seriously? You got gum all over my gloves." He groaned, in frustration, and walked out the room.

- "Hey, can I turn the zero gravity back on?" The tall guy asked. "I just drank a gallon of water, and there's something else I've always wanted to do in space."

- "I'm gonna go with Chase." Maddie frowned, in disgust, and followed the boy she loved. "Chase!"

The bionic boy turned around.

- "You're okay?" The alien girl asked. "You seem more annoyed by Adam than usual."

- "I just wanted to enjoy today, but he keeps being immature, and I'm sick of it." The Davenport boy explained.

- "That's the real reason?" The Matthews girl frowned.

- "Yeah. What else?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.

- "After Leo and Bree interrupted us, you were super annoyed with them the following day, and since Adam interrupted us yesterday..." The blue-eyed girl said.

Chase sighed as he blushed slightly.

- "Okay, maybe there is a little bit of that." He replied.

- "A little?" Maddie raised her eyebrows.

- "A lot." The bionic boy nodded. "It's just that they always come in when we are about to kiss. It's been a month." His face turned redder.

- "I know." The alien girl snickered.

- "It's not funny." The Davenport boy shook his head.

- "Are you kidding me? Every time, you are so frustrated, and you look like just want to rip their heads off." The Matthews girl laughed.

- "So, I'm frustrated because we get interrupted, and you mock me?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked, amused.

- "I'm mocking you in the nicest way possible." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

Chase snickered.

- "You're impossible, Mads." He said.

- "I know." Maddie chuckled.

The bionic boy shook his head.

The alien girl kissed his cheek.

- "Hold on. It's just a matter of time." She smiled.

- "You're right." The Davenport boy smiled back, the redness of his face spreading to his neck.

- "Go." The Matthews girl pointed at the exit.

The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes, amused, and walked away.

The blue-eyed girl smiled softly. Just a matter of time.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of minutes later, Chase was out in space by the satellite, the three others were in the spacecraft communicating with com sets.

- "Chase, do you see anything?" Bree asked.

- "No. I don't get it. There's no structural damage. Hang on, I'll do a scan." The genius boy scanned the satellite. "That's weird. The signal was shut off at the colony. Someone back there must be tampering with it."

- "What the hell?" Maddie frowned.

- "Who would do that?" The bionic girl questioned.

- "I don't know. This sounds like a job for Zolton." Adam said with a deep voice. "I'll get the helmet." He tried to get up.

- "No." The girls held him back.

- "Hang on, I'm coming in." The green hazel-eyed boy pressed the thrusters, but did not move.

- "What are you doing?" The alien girl asked.

- "Uh, Chase, door's over here, bud." The Davenport girl pointed at the door.

- "I know. Adam's gum jammed the controls. They're stuck." Chase said when all of a sudden a wormhole opened further behind him.

- "No! Chase, behind you!" The Matthews girl yelled.

The genius boy looked behind and started to scream as the wormhole was trying to aspire him.

- "What are you doing?!" Bree yelled.

- "It's aspiring me! Help!" The green hazel-eyed boy screamed.

- "Push the thrusters!" Maddie ordered.

Chase pushed the thrusters and started to float away from the wormhole and the ship.

- "Okay, guys, we have to fly the ship and go get him." The bionic girl said.

- "Got it." The tall guy replied.

- "Do you know how to do that?" The Davenport girl asked.

- "Nope. Ooh, but I bet Zolton does. Now can I get the helmet?" The eldest questioned.

- "Focus." The alien girl slapped him upside the head.

- "Adam, this is serious." Bree frowned.

- "Okay, fine. Uh, maybe this'll do it." Adam pressed a button and the windshield wipers activated. "Ah. There's those windshield wipers."

The wormhole widened.

- "Guys." The Matthews girl said.

- "Great. He's speeding off into space, and we have no idea how to work this thing." The bionic girl sighed.

- "Way to come unprepared, Bree." The tall guy replied.

- "Guys!" Maddie yelled. The two eldest siblings turned to her. "The wormhole got bigger!"

- "What?!" The two, simultaneously, yelled and turned to see their brother getting closer to the wormhole.

- "I'm going." The alien girl opened a portal.

- "Be careful." The eldest said.

- "Always." The Matthews girl walked through the portal.

- "Wait. There's someone on the ship." The Davenport girl heard footsteps. Perry walked in, yawning. "Perry? What are you doing here?"

- "Took a nap in the engine room. I find the violent rumble of the rocket engines to be soothing, plus the fumes knock me out cold." Terry explained.

- "Okay, we lost Chase in space." Adam said.

- "Score!" The head of security exclaimed.

- "No, this is serious. We don't know how to fly this thing, and if we don't figure it out, we're gonna lose him forever." Bree explained.

- "Score!" Perry cheered.

- "Okay, you know what? Forget it. I will just figure out how to fly this thing myself." The bionic girl pressed random buttons and an alarm started blaring. "Okay, I'm done."

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

In the meanwhile, Maddie flew towards Chase.

- "Mads! What are you doing here?" He yelled.

- "Saving you. Grab my hand." The alien girl extended her hand.

The genius boy grabbed her hand.

The Matthews girl pulled him closer to her, away from the wormhole. She threw him through her portal in the ship, before closing it. He's safe. She sighed as the wormhole got bigger and started to pull her in as she fought it.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Chase, in the ship, fell on the ground.

- "I'm safe." He sighed as he got up. He took off his helmet. "Mads?" He frowned and saw her still in space. "Mads!"

- "What are you doing, M?" Bree asked.

- "The wormhole is just gonna get bigger until it aspires something." Maddie replied as she struggled to stay out of the wormhole.

- "Mads, don't you dare!" The genius boy yelled.

- "I'm sorry." The alien girl sighed.

- "What's happening?" Adam asked.

- "She's letting the wormhole aspire her to save us!" The green hazel-eyed boy shouted.

- "What?!" The three eldest, simultaneously, yelled.

- "M, no!" The bionic girl exclaimed.

- "Little lady, you can't do that!" The tall guy shouted.

- "Matthews, you have to fight!" Perry yelled.

- "I'm sorry, guys. Say to everyone that I love them." The Matthews girl said.

- "Mads, open the portal!" Chase shouted.

- "No!" Maddie yelled.

- "You promised to never sacrifice yourself!" The genius boy reminded her.

- "I know. I lied." The alien girl sighed as she started to get closer to the wormhole. "I love you, guys. Thank you for being my family."

The wormhole aspired her as she screamed, before it closed.

The four looked at the spacecraft's window in shock.

- "She's gone..." The Davenport girl cried.

- "No!" The eldest teenager yelled, angrily.

The green hazel-eyed boy looked at the floor, tears running down his cheeks.

- "It's gonna be okay, Chase." Adam patted his brother's back.

- "Don't talk to me." Chase moved away, angrily, as he wiped the tears on his face.

You have to keep it together, Chase. You can't crack, now. He thought.

- "What, why?" The tall guy frowned.

- "Because of you, I almost died." The genius boy replied. "Oh, and I don't know, maybe because of you, Mads is gone!" He shouted.

- "We are all sad." Bree said.

- "When are you gonna realize that your stupid actions have consequences?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked, angrily.

- "Chase..." The eldest started.

- "Don't 'Chase' me." Chase cut him off. "You're always saying you wanna be treated like an adult. Well, here's an idea. Why don't you grow up and start acting like one? Until then, we may be brothers, but I am not your friend." He stormed out of the room with his helmet.

Adam looked down with tears in his eyes.

- "Aw. You look like you could use a hug." Terry said. The tall guy smiled softly and leaned in to hug her. "Whoa! I never said you were gettin' one from me."

The bionic girl hugged her eldest brother.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the four ran in Davenportia.

- "Dad, the satellite's fine. The signal was manipulated from here." Chase said.

- "What? That doesn't make any sense." Donald frowned.

- "Where's Dee?" Leo asked. The four stayed silent. "No..."

- "What happened?" The father questioned.

- "A wormhole appeared and was about to aspire us, so she let it aspire her to save us." The genius boy explained, sadly.

- "Please, tell me it's a joke?" The middle brother asked, with tears in his eyes.

- "I wish I could." The green hazel-eyed boy sighed as he swallowed his tears.

A man in a mask, menacingly, walked in the room.

- "It really is Zolton." Adam pointed at him.

- "Who are you?" Chase questioned.

- "You know exactly who I am." The man replied, before pressing a button.

His helmet unfolded to reveal Krane with a breathing plate on.

- "Krane." The scientist glared at him.

- "Oh, no. It's the scary guy with the metal face!" Perry exclaimed. "You, losers, are on your own. I'm outta here!" She grabbed a jetpack. "So long, suckers!" She flew into the air, and everyone from down below watched her.

- "This oughta be good." Donald said.

Terry screamed multiple times.

- "How do you steer this stupid thing?" She asked.

- "Kinda hoping she doesn't figure that out." The tall guy smiled.

- "She won't." Bree shook her head.

They all scramble out of the way as the head of security crashed onto the floor.

- "Ooh." Everyone frowned.

- "Told ya." The bionic girl said.

- "Good news, guys. I've decided to stay." Perry replied.

The genius boy sighed and helped her up.
