Last night, Maddie had stayed at the hospital, the entire night, watching over Donald and allowing Tasha to sleep for a few hours.
Later, the next morning, the childhood best friends entered the lab.
- "Good news, guys!" Leo exclaimed to the two younger engineered bionic humans. "My mom called from the hospital and said Big D's doing much better. He's gonna make it."
- "Awesome!" Bree smiled.
- "Great." Chase said. "Did you sleep?" He asked his best friend.
- "No." The alien girl replied.
The genius shook his head, unhappy.
- "Chase, I'm a Kryptonian. I'm fine." The Matthews girl chuckled.
- "Kryptonian or not, you're sleeping. That is not an option." The green hazel-eyed, firmly, said.
- "Yes, sir." Maddie saluted.
Chase rolled his eyes, amused.
- "Yep. Soon he'll be back here, making us all wish he was still unconscious." The brown-eyed boy smiled.
- "Hey, I really miss them." The bionic girl said. "Although it has been nice having the hairspray all to myself."
- "Oh, actually, Adam's been using it, too. He's developing new hairstyles for his armpits." The genius boy explained. "You wouldn't think it, but the ponytails are surprisingly cute."
The alien girl snickered.
- "You know, we should have traded Adam for one of Krane's bionic soldiers when we had the chance." The Davenport girl said.
- "Shit." The Matthews girl's eyes widened.
- "Mads!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed. "Oh, no. The soldiers! I was so worried about Dad, I completely forgot about them."
- "Relax. I'm sure they're fine. Now that the Triton App is deactivated, they're just normal teenagers..." The middle brother replied. "Normal teenagers roaming the streets with deadly bionic abilities. We need to find them!" He yelled.
- "Definitely." Maddie nodded. "I could try to fly around town."
- "Yeah, do it." Chase nodded.
The four youngest started to walk out when Adam walked in.
- "Find who?" He asked.
- "Krane's soldiers." Bree replied.
- "Oh, I think I can help with that." The tall guy smiled. "Follow me." He walked towards the elevator.
- "Please, tell me you didn't do what I think you did." The alien girl sighed.
The quintet entered the kitchen and saw thirty of the bionic soldiers talking.
- "They're right here." The eldest Davenport sibling said.
- "You invited 30 bionic soldiers into our home?" The genius boy asked.
- "No, I invited one. The other 29 were hiding in the bushes and followed us home." Adam explained.
The Matthews girl slapped her forehead.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A few minutes later, Adam was presenting five soldiers to the three youngest of the original team.
- "Chase, Bree, Maddie, I don't think you guys have been formally introduced to our friends. This is S-12, S-13, S-14, S-15 and..." He showed every soldier but stopped in front of the last one. "Ha, I'm sorry, I forgot your name."
- "S-16, I presume?" Maddie asked.
- "Yes, nice to meet you." The girl smiled.
- "Same." The alien girl smiled back.
- "They tried to kill us." Bree whispered to her best friend.
- "Because they were being controlled by Krane. They probably don't remember anything." The Matthews girl replied.
- "Hi, I'm S-3." S-3 and S-2 walked up to the four. "And this is my sister, S-2."
- "Ahh!" Chase screamed. "I know who you are. You tried to kill me!"
- "Why would I do that? I don't even know you, friend." The Krane boy tried to put his hand on the genius boy's shoulder.
- "I am not your friend." The genius boy took a step back. "You used electro-fork thingy on me. And friends don't electro-fork thingy friends."
- "I don't remember that, but if I hurt you, I'm sorry." The former soldier said, sadly.
- "Whoa, dude. Never apologize for hurting Chase." The tall guy replied.
- "Adam." Maddie warned.
- "I mean, always apologize to Chase." The eldest Davenport sibling, awkwardly, smiled.
- "So, you're the boss." The Krane girl said.
- "No, he is." The alien girl pointed at Chase. "But I'm creepy and violent."
- "So, the perfect combo." The girl with the red streaks snickered.
- "Exactly." The Matthews girl chuckled. "Anyway, I'm Maddie. This is Chase, Bree, and Adam." She gestured to each sibling.
- "Nice to meet you, guys." S-3 smiled.
S-2 nodded.
- "Wait. So, do you remember anything?" Bree asked the duo.
- "I remember my name is S-3, these are my brothers and sisters, and we followed this smart guy here." The Krane boy put his hand on Adam's back.
- "Well, he obviously doesn't remember what the word 'smart' means." The Davenport bionic girl replied.
- "I like you, girls." The Krane girl chuckled.
- "M was right. They don't remember anything." The Davenport girl said as the two Kranes walked further away. "It's like they're bionic blank slates."
- "Can we keep 'em?" The tall guy asked, excited. "Most of 'em are potty-trained. S-27's still a work-in progress."
- "No, we can't keep them. Just 24 hours ago, they were trying to destroy us." The genius boy explained.
- "Plus, Dad would freak out if he came home to 30 bionic soldiers." Bree replied.
- "All right. S-30, take a hike. S's 1 through 29, welcome home." The eldest Davenport fist bumped S-3.
- "Forget Big D, it's my mom I'm worried about. She's still not sold on you, four, having powers." Leo said. "But you didn't hear it from me."
- "I knew it!" Maddie gasped and looked across the room. "We can't keep them here. Even if I want to."
- "Seriously, M?" The Davenport bionic girl frowned.
- "You do realize that the only reason I have Green Martian and Calderian powers is because I was on a ship, where people tried to turn me into a weapon?" The alien girl asked. "Just like Krane did to them or Douglas tried to do to you. I cannot act like I don't think they deserve a real chance in life and to have someone to save them, like my mom did for me or Donnie did for you. I'll talk to Donnie about a more permanent solution, when he'll be back on his feet. In the meanwhile, I'm gonna take care of them." She walked towards S-2. "I'm gonna let you, guys, live at my old house. I'll bring you food and buy clothes."
Her heart is so pure. The green hazel-eyed boy smiled fondly.
- "Thank you, Maddie." The girl with the red streaks smiled. "That's really kind of you."
- "Come on, dude, I'll help you pack your stuff." Adam told S-3, sadly.
- "We don't have any stuff." The Krane boy replied.
- "Don't worry, I got you covered." The tall guy said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A few minutes later, Adam was passing out Chase's shirts to all the soldiers.
- "Here you go. Take as much as you want." He said.
- "Thank you." S-3 smiled.
- "Hey! Those are mine!" The genius boy yelled.
- "Yeah, I hope you're all a boy's small." The tall guy added.
The green hazel-eyed boy snatched the shirts back as the three others of the team laughed at the brothers' antics.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of hours later, the trio youngest of the original team were waiting in the lab. Adam ran in.
- "Hey, did you ditch the bionic army?" Bree asked.
- "Yeah, but those guys were tough to shake. I had to run through the mall, hop a fence, run back through the mall, snag a churro, and go under a bridge." The tall guy explained. "But I think I finally lost..." The bionic soldiers geo-leaped into the lab, startling the siblings. "Great. Now, I have to do it again. Can you spot me for their churros?"
- "Why do they keep following you?" The Davenport bionic girl frowned.
- "They're soldiers, they must have a natural tendency to follow their leader." Chase said. "But with Krane gone, they didn't have one until Adam showed up."
- "Oh boy..." Maddie slapped her forehead.
- "What does that mean?" The Davenport girl questioned.
- "They think Adam's their new leader!" The genius boy exclaimed.
- "Great, now they're more dangerous than they were under Krane." Bree said.
- "Yeah." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded.
- "And the world is doomed." The alien girl added.
The eldest glared at them. A fanfare music was heard.
- "Oh, it's the president calling. Quick, take them upstairs. We'll deal with them later." Chase ordered to his brother.
- "To the elevator!" Adam exclaimed with his fist in the air.
- "To the elevator!" The soldiers mimicked.
The tall guy and the soldiers ran out of the room to the elevator. The genius boy answered the video-call with the girls.
- "Hello, Mr. President." He said.
- "Chase, we have a problem." The head of the country replied.
- "Sir, if this is about what Adam did in the Lincoln Bedroom." The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.
- "It's not. I sent agents to retrieve Krane's army, and they're gone." The President explained.
- "Don't worry, we know exactly..." Chase started.
- "Uh, Mr. President, when the agents do find Krane's soldiers, what's gonna happen to them?" The bionic girl asked.
- "They're bionic criminals, so they'll be separated and placed in high security isolation cells." The head of the country explained.
- "Why? The only reason they committed any crimes was because Krane was controlling them." The Davenport girl defended.
- "And with the Triton App being activated their entire lives, they probably don't remember anything that happened." The Matthews girl added.
- "That may be, but they're still bionic, which makes them dangerous." The President said.
- "Well, that's what people thought about us." Chase replied.
- "But you, four, have proven yourselves. All we've seen from these individuals is evil." The head of the country explained. "Find them."
- "Yes, sir." The genius boy nodded and hung up the video-call.
- "Now what? We can't just hand them over to the government, or they're gonna lock them up." Bree said.
- "I know, and we can't keep them here, or they'll lock us up for harboring fugitives." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.
- "They'll stay at my house. Since I live here, nobody will suspect anything and we, all, can teleport, so nobody will see them entering or exiting the house." Maddie explained.
- "Mads, it's super risky." Chase frowned.
- "I don't care. I'm gonna help them." The alien girl shrugged.
The elevator button, repeatedly, dang.
- "Can somebody please push the button?" Adam asked, annoyed.
- "Can somebody please push the button?" The thirty soldiers, simultaneously, repeated.
- "They are packed as sardines." The Matthews girl chuckled and walked up to the elevator, before pushing the button.
- "Thank you, little lady!" The tall guy exclaimed.
- "Thank you, little lady!" The soldiers said.
- "You're welcome." Maddie snickered, from outside the elevator, as the doors closed.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the geniuses were in the living room with Adam and the soldiers.
- "Did you figure out what to do with the kids yet?" Bree asked, irritated.
- "So far, all I've come up with is: turn them over to the government." Chase replied.
- "I won't let you do that." Maddie said.
- "And I won't let you become a criminal. So, I guess we're stuck." The genius boy shrugged.
- "Yeah." The alien girl sighed.
- "Okay. Well you better figure out something because they just used my prom dress for target practice!" The bionic Davenport girl yelled as she held her destroyed dress.
- "I told you to lock your door." The Matthews girl said.
The green hazel-eyed boy tried to hide his laughter.
- "Well, in their defense, the odds of you using it were very slim." He replied.
- "Who are you going to prom with?" Maddie crossed her arms.
- "How could you turn on me?" Chase put a hand over his heart and pretended to be hurt.
The alien girl rolled her eyes, amused.
- "How did we get into this mess?" The Davenport girl asked.
The Matthews girl grabbed her chin and turned her face to look at the tall guy, who was getting fed by a soldier using her molecular kinesis.
- "Mmm. Don't look at me, Bree. I didn't ask to be king." He smirked.
- "Adam, quit messing around." The genius boy replied. "We have to find a safe place to hide them all that isn't Mads' house, before the President finds out they're here." Someone knocked at the front door and S-3 went to answer it. "Wait. We don't know who it is."
- "I know. That's why I'm going to open the door." The Krane boy opened the door. "Hey! It's more of our bionic brothers and sisters!"
- "Wait, there's more of you?" Bree asked.
- "Oh, tons more." S-3 said.
- "How many?" Maddie questioned.
- "We are 103." S-2 replied.
- "Wow." The four, simultaneously, said.
- "I'll send them all a signal to tell 'em to come to our new home." The Krane boy smiled.
- "No, no! No signal! No new home!" The green hazel-eyed boy shouted.
The alien girl put her hands on his shoulders.
- "Relax." She whispered in his ear, from behind.
Chase exhaled loudly.
- "Better?" The Matthews girl murmured.
The genius boy nodded.
- "Great, so now, there are 40 bionic soldiers in our house. What are we gonna do?" The Davenport bionic girl asked, in panic.
- "There's only one thing we can do." The eldest Davenport replied.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A few minutes later, all the soldiers were in the living room with Adam perched above them.
- "Bionic house party!" He shouted.
- "Bionic house party!" The soldiers repeated.
Music started playing. The Kranes and the tall guy danced while the three younger of the team watched in despair.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. The eldest Davenport ran through the room, almost falling, several times. He opened the door.
- "Zack! You came!" He smiled.
Of course, he called Zack. Maddie smiled from across the room.
What is she looking at? Chase followed her gaze. He frowned. Him, again.
- "Of course. You called." Zack chuckled.
- "Come in." Adam took his hand and pulled him in the house. "Guys, this is Zack!"
The Fields boy's eyes widened when he saw the forty soldiers.
- "Hi, Zack!" The Kranes shouted.
The blonde, awkwardly, waved with his free hand. The taller guy pulled the blue-eyed boy by the hand and started dancing with him, never letting go of his hand. Zack laughed as Adam made him spin, before pulling him against his chest. The two tall boys blushed brightly as they continued to dance chest to chest.
The two younger Davenport siblings looked at them with wide eyes.
How did I never notice? The genius boy smiled. He turned to look at his best friend, who was looking at the two boys, smiling. She knew. There really is nothing between her and Zack. He smiled widely as his heart beat faster. She doesn't see him like that.
- "You knew?" Bree whispered as she smacked her best friend's arm.
- "Knew what?" The alien girl asked.
- "About that." The Davenport girl pointed at the blushing boys.
- "No." The Matthews girl lied.
That's a lie. The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.
- "Uh-uh." Bree frowned.
Not my place to say anything. Maddie thought.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the geniuses were looking the soldiers and the tall boys dancing.
- "So, Zack and Adam?" Chase asked.
- "What?" Maddie frowned.
- "You knew." The genius boy said.
- "You knew what?" The alien girl replied.
- "That there is something between them." The green hazel-eyed boy smiled.
- "I have no idea. Adam doesn't talk to me about this kind of stuff." The Matthews girl explained.
- "Really?" Chase frowned.
- "Yeah. He doesn't talk to me about his crushes." Maddie chuckled.
- "Is there any way that we could reactivate the Triton App? One of them just drank the pool." Bree explained, after she walked up to them.
- "Hey! Welcome home!" S-3 shook the hand of one of his brother. "I see you got my signal."
- "Hi, little bro." S-2 hugged a short brunette boy, who wasn't older than ten.
- "Hi, sis." S-102 smiled in the embrace.
- "He's a baby." The alien girl gestured to the boy.
- "Hey, S-3, could..." The genius boy walked up to him. "Could you do me a favor?" He asked. "Stop! Sending! Signals!" He, aggressively, shouted in his face.
The Matthews girl whistled with wide eyes as she walked up behind him and put her arms around his waist.
- "Breathe." She lifted her chin to rest it against his shoulder.
The green hazel-eyed boy relaxed as he felt another type of tension running through his veins.
- "Hey, dude, what's the best way to have fun?" Adam walked up to the former soldier with his crush.
- "Do the opposite of what Chase says." The Krane boy replied.
- "Ah, I taught you well, grasshopper." The tall guy said.
They did a salute.
I'm gonna kill him. Chase groaned in frustration and tried to leave, but his best friend held him still.
- "S-3, if you continue to bring all of your siblings here, it will alert the authorities and you, all, will be taken away." Maddie explained. "Chase is trying to protect you, so you should listen to him."
- "She's right, brother." The girl with the red streaks put her hand on her brother's shoulder. "She's smart. We can trust her."
- "Alright." S-3 nodded. "Thank you, Chase. I'll stop." He walked away.
The genius boy's eyes widened. That worked.
- "Thank you, S-2." The alien girl smiled.
- "You're welcome." S-2 followed her brother.
- "I like her." The Matthews girl stated. "And Zack?"
- "Yeah?" Zack raised his eyebrows.
- "Could you keep Adam away from the soldiers?" Maddie asked.
- "Sure." The Fields boy nodded.
- "I don't need to be kept away." Adam frowned.
- "Yes, you do." The blue-eyed boy smiled. "Come on, I'll make it up to you." He winked and walked away.
The tall guy's cheeks turned bright red, before following him.
The alien girl smiled. Adorable.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the three youngest of the team were sitting on the couch, in despair, as the soldiers and the tall guys were partying when the door opened.
- "Crap." Maddie murmured.
The three youngest got up from the couch.
- "Hey!" Tasha shouted.
- "Oh, hey, Tasha." Adam smiled.
- "Hey, Tasha!" The soldiers and Zack, simultaneously, said.
- "Dad, you're not dead!" Bree exclaimed. "Yay."
- "What is going on?" Donald walked up to the original team. "Why is the bionic army that tried to kill us in our house?!" He said through his gritted teeth.
- "We had no choice. The government wants to lock them up." Bree replied.
- "So?" The father frowned.
The doorbell rang and knocks were heard at the door.
- "Oh, goody. More people!" Chase yelled.
- "Wasn't me!" S-3 raised his hands in the air.
- "Relax." The alien girl ran her hand up and down the genius boy's back.
The green hazel-eyed boy took a deep breath.
Tasha opened the door and a woman was standing there.
- "I'm Agent Reed. The President sent us to assist in the search for the criminals." She explained. "But it looks like you already found them. Good work. We'll take it from here."
- "No, Dad, this is not their fault. They were being controlled by the Triton App." The Davenport bionic girl defended.
- "They deserve a chance. Like they got with you." The Matthews girl gestured to the trio. "Or like I got with my mom."
- "Yeah. They're just like us." Chase said.
- "He's right. We should all be arrested." Adam replied.
- "No. Absolutely not." The Fields boy shook his head.
The taller guy smiled fondly.
- "Is this necessary? I mean, what law have they actually broken?" The scientist asked the agent.
- "Theft of government property, breaking and entering into the White House, and launching a bionic war against humanity." The woman replied.
- "Oh. Yeah, well...that seems like a slap on the wrist kind of thing to me." Donald defended.
- "Cuff 'em." The agent ordered.
- "Go!" S-2 yelled.
All the soldiers geo-leaped away.
- "What just happened?" The woman asked.
- "They geo-leaped away." The father smiled. "See, essentially they can manipulate their molecular structure to..."
- "Short answer." The agent cut him off.
- "They're gone." The scientist replied.
- "Find them!" The woman shouted.
All the agents walked away and Leo hobbled in on his cane.
The original team frowned.
What the heck? The genius boy thought.
What the fuck? Maddie looked at her childhood best friend with wide eyes.
- "My knee's acting up. Must be rain. Either that or I'm starting to fall." The middle brother started to fall. "Yup."
The alien girl super speeded next to him and caught him.
- "I'm gonna go." The blue-eyed boy whispered to the eldest Davenport sibling.
- "Why?" Adam frowned.
- "You have things to deal with." Zack replied.
- "Alright." The taller guy sighed. "Call me tonight?"
- "Of course." The Fields boy nodded.
- "Bye, Zack." The Matthews girl said.
- "Bye, everyone." The blue-eyed walked out the door.
Everyone walked away, leading Leo towards the lab.
The eldest Davenport sibling, discreetly, ran outside.
- "Zack, wait!" He yelled.
- "Yeah?" Zack turned around.
- "I didn't give you a proper goodbye." Adam smiled.
- "Oh." The Fields boy smirked. "Well, you should correct that." He walked up closer to him.
- "Agree." The tall guy whispered against the mouth of the blue-eyed boy.
He cupped his face and pulled him into a slow kiss. Zack smiled into the kiss as one of his hands was tangled in Adam's hair. He, slightly, tucked on it, making the taller guy moan against his lips. They pulled away.
- "Fuck, I love when you do, that." Adam whispered as he rested his forehead against his lover's.
- "I know, baby." Zack smiled as his hands roamed down his boyfriend's chest.
- "It was so hard to not kiss you, earlier." The taller guy said.
- "Oh, yeah?" The Fields boy asked.
- "Yeah. I need to make up for it." The eldest replied.
- "Then, do it." The blue-eyed boy smirked. "Kiss me, Adam."
Adam did not hesitate one second, before pulling his lover back in for a kiss. Zack, slightly, moaned as he felt his boyfriend biting his lower lip, asking for entrance, that he, gladly, granted. The two boys, deeply, kissed.
- "Adam..." Maddie walked outside and saw them. The two boys pulled away, blushing. "Seriously, guys? Again?"
- "Uh..." The tall guy started.
- "If you want to keep your relationship a secret, don't kiss in the middle of the driveway." The alien girl shook her head.
- "We are not keeping our relationship secret. We just want our privacy." The eldest replied.
- "Yeah, and it's not our fault, you always walk on us." The Fields boy defended as he reminded her of what had happened two weeks prior.
- "You, guys, were making out on the couch!" The Matthews girl whisper-yelled. "I live here. How was I supposed to not see?"
- "That's a good question." Adam nodded.
- "Anyway..." Maddie snickered. "Chase needs you, and if you don't come in the lab, quick. He or Bree will come get you. So, say goodbye to your boyfriend and let's go." She walked in the house, closing the door behind herself, ready to stop anyone from going outside.
- "You heard her." The blue-eyed boy chuckled.
- "Yeah." The tall guy sighed.
Zack gave him a quick smooch on the lips.
- "Bye." He smiled.
- "Bye, babe." The eldest smiled back and walked in the house. "You stayed in front of the door?" He frowned.
- "Duh." The alien girl replied.
- "Thank you." Adam said.
- "You're welcome." The Matthews girl smiled. "But be careful, Chase and Bree are asking questions about you, two."
- "Shit. They are so curious." The tall guy shook his head.
- "Yep." Maddie chuckled.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the childhood best friends were in the lab with Donald, who was trying to fix his son.
- "Okay, serum's ready. Here, try this." He gave the serum to Leo, who drank. "You feel any different?"
- "No, but you are the ugliest nurse I've ever seen." The shorter boy replied.
Maddie chuckled.
The bionic trio ran in.
- "Any sign of the bionic army?" The father asked.
- "No. They could be anywhere." Bree said.
- "How's Leo?" Chase questioned.
- "None of my anti-aging serums are working." The scientist replied.
- "That's pretty obvious. I mean, look at you." Adam snickered.
- "I'm telling you, science won't work." The alien girl said. "We need powers. It's the only thing that can save him."
- "What kind of powers?" The bionic girl frowned.
- "The energy transference that Leo has." The Matthews girl explained. "But the only people that have it are the soldiers."
A fanfare music played, and the President appeared on the screen behind the console.
- "Mr. President." Donald walked up to the console.
- "Davenport, it's nice to see you up and around." The head of the country smiled. "Where are those bionic soldiers?"
- "I honestly have no idea, sir." The father replied. The soldiers geo-leaped into the lab. "Way to make me look good, guys."
- "I'm sending my agents to collect them. You're responsible until they get there." The President explained.
- "Mr. President, these kids are harmless." The scientist defended.
- "We don't have any proof of that." The head of the country replied.
Leo fell to the floor.
- "Leo!" Donald and Maddie, simultaneously, yelled as they rushed towards him with Chase.
- "Dad." The shorter boy said, dizzy.
- "Yes, Leo?" The father asked.
- "It should have been you." The middle brother replied.
- "What's going on?" Adam asked.
- "His time's running out." The scientist explained.
- "Leo, come on. Fight." The alien girl held his hand as her eyes watered.
Six of the soldiers, including S-3, reached into their chests and grabbed a ball of energy, before walking over to Leo.
- "Hey, what are they doing?" Bree asked.
- "No. Get away from him!" The genius boy yelled as he got up.
Maddie and Donald got up and stopped him.
- "No. Let them do it." He said.
The soldiers thrust their energy into the shorter Davenport boy, causing the lights to flicker.
The green hazel-eyed boy grabbed his best friend's hand and squeezed it.
- "Davenport, what are they doing?" The President asked.
- "They're saving my son's life." The father replied.
The soldiers finished transferring their energy and got up. Chase leaned forward to see his brother, never letting go of his best friend's, when Leo, quickly, woke up.
- "Whoo-hoo!" He shouted, startling everyone, before getting up. "Ding dong. Leo's home! Whoo!"
The alien girl let go of the genius boy and rushed to her childhood best friend, hugging him as hard as she could without using her powers.
Then, the middle brother, quickly, hugged his father.
- "Wait. So, what just happened?" The Davenport bionic girl asked.
- "We transferred some of the energy from our bodies into his." The Krane boy explained.
- "But won't that make you all turn old, too?" The Davenport girl questioned.
- "Well, if it was just one of us, yes. But since we all did it, the effect is minimal." S-3 explained.
- "Good job, brother." S-2 patted his back.
- "Ah. That was awesome! It's like you brought him back to life." The tall guy said. "Nobody move, I'm gonna go dig up my goldfish." He ran out of the room.
Zack has weird taste. The Matthews girl frowned.
- "Wow, I can't believe you guys saved me." The shorter Davenport boy smiled. "I can never repay you. But he can. Pony up, Big D."
The geniuses laughed as the scientist glared at his middle son.
- "Mr. President, I think this is all the proof you'll need." Donald said.
- "That was admirable...but I can't let these bionic kids roam free. I'm sending a transport to pick them up." The head of the country replied.
- "But sir, they're not..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.
- "It's okay." The Krane boy put his hand on his shoulder.
Chase, quickly, looked at him. He, slightly, shivered as the contact. Wait. Him? He frowned at himself.
- "You've helped us as much as you can. It's time for us to go." S-3 said to his siblings, before turning to the President. "We won't run this time."
The genius boy frowned, sadly. Why do I want him to stay?
Maddie frowned as she looked at his reaction. Well, someone has a crush. She thought, sadly. And it's not me. It never will be.

Thursday, 29th January 2015
The next day, very early in the morning, the agents were cuffing the soldiers.
They had slept at the Matthews' house.
- "Guys, look. I finally found where I buried my goldfish." Adam held up a bowl of dirt. "Okay, people, do your magic."
- "Stop! Nobody's going anywhere." Donald ran in with Maddie.
- "Donald, if you try to take on a team of federal agents again, I will put you back in the hospital myself." Tasha threatened.
- "I have no doubt." The alien girl smiled.
- "No. We have a solution." The father gestured to himself and the Matthews girl, before walking up to the bionic trio. "These kids have proven they can save lives and change the world. We already know what you, four, can do with your bionics. Just think what a hundred bionic kids could do."
- "Aw, don't make me think, just tell me." The tall guy frowned.
- "With proper training and supervision, they could go on multiple missions, save thousands of lives." The scientist explained. "And the President is already on board. We just got off the phone with him." He told the agent.
- "Hold on. I didn't get anything about a change..." The woman started, but her phone beeped. "Oh. Okay, you're good." She walked away. "Uncuff them." She ordered to her agents.
All the soldiers were released as the agents walked out of the house.
- "Well, Dad, this all sounds great, but how are you supposed to train hundreds of bionic kids?" Chase asked.
- "I'm not. We are." Donald replied. "Since you're the first of your kind and Maddison has powers as well, you'll be their mentors. You'll train them, socialize them, and introduce them to the world, just like Leo did with you."
- "Only we'll do a good job." The eldest Davenport teenager said.
Bree and Chase nodded.
- "Excuse me?" Leo frowned.
- "Don't act shocked, you found us five friends in two years." The bionic girl replied.
- "It's not his fault, people don't like you." The Matthews girl defended.
The bionic trio glared at her.
- "Thank you, Dee." The middle brother smiled and fist bumped his best friend.
- "So, where is all this training gonna take place?" The mother asked.
- "At the world's first 'Davenport Bionic Academy'." The father explained.
- "I think you mean 'Davenport and Son Bionic Academy'." Leo put his forearm on his father's shoulder.
- "And I think you still have a touch of grandpa brain." The scientist mocked as he put on the middle brother's glasses from the day before. "What'd you say?"
Everyone laughed as Leo glared at Donald.

Later, that day, the two Davenport adult brothers were in the lab designing the academy.
- "Donnie, can I talk to you?" Maddie walked in.
- "Of course, but quickly, we're busy." Donald nodded.
- "It's about the academy." The alien girl said.
The father stopped and looked at her.
- "If it is to tell me that you shouldn't be a mentor because you're not bionic, then, you're wasting your time." He replied.
- "It's not about that." The Matthews girl shook her head. "I know that you won't change your mind."
- "Then, what?" Douglas asked.
- "You need to give everyone a room, each." Maddie said.
- "I was going to do dormitories." The older Davenport replied.
- "And it's stupid." The alien girl scoffed.
- "Excuse me?" Donald looked at her, in shock.
- "We may not be adults, but we still deserve privacy. We are teenagers with hormones." The Matthews girl explained.
- "I don't see where you're going with this." The father frowned, before taking a sit of water.
Maddie sighed.
- "If I were Bree, I'd be sick to see my brothers' morning erection, every day." She said.
The older Davenport spat out his water.
The uncle handed a paper towel to his brother.
- "What did you say?" Donald asked, in shock.
- "You heard me." The alien girl crossed her arms. "You don't want to think about it, because they are your babies. But they are growing. They have adult bodies, now. Their bodies are gonna react accordingly, and it's the same for the students. They never had a life before, they need to have a space for themselves, where they are alone and at peace."
- "She's right, Donnie." The younger Davenport said.
- "They also need beds. You call yourselves 'geniuses', then, put their capsules in the walls of their rooms and give them beds." The Matthews girl replied.
- "Maybe, later. But not now." The father shook his head.
- "Fine, don't listen to me." Maddie scoffed. "Don't give them rooms or beds, but don't come cry to me, when you'll find one of the students or one of your kids having sex on top of your expensive equipment." She raised her hands, in the air and started to walk away.
Douglas laughed loudly when he saw the look of disgust and shock on his brother's face.
- "Fine!" The older Davenport yelled. "What else?"
The alien girl smirked and turned around.
- "Bathrooms in each bedroom, like here. No Eddy in anyone's rooms, like you did for our rooms, here." She said.
- "You didn't really give me much choice. You threatened to burn his circuits." Donald replied.
- "Yes, and I will do it if you put Eddy in the bedrooms or bathrooms." The Matthews girl threatened.
- "I know." The father nodded. He wrote down her propositions. "What else?"
Maddie smiled as she listed all of her ideas. The two brothers listened carefully as they, slowly, designed her propositions.

Sunday, 8th February 2015
A week later, Donald had rented an entire hotel to put all the soldiers in. The entire family checked on them, daily.
The father had reunited the quintet, his wife, and the two older soldiers: S-2 and S-3, to present them the blueprints of the academy.
- "Behold, the world's first ever bionic academy." He showed an image of the island on the screen.
- "Tada!" Tasha exclaimed.
- "Yeah, back up. This is my moment. Tada!" The scientist smiled.
- "Wow, Dad, that place looks amazing." Chase said.
- "Yeah. It's a man-made island." Donald replied. "Here's the combat training area." He slid the screen to show a blueprint. "And the bedrooms area." He showed another blueprint. "Thanks to someone's arguments." The Davenport siblings turned to their best friend, who, coyly, smiled. "You, all, will have your own rooms. Glass box days are over, you have beds now. Your capsules will be integrated in the walls." He explained. "Buteveryone will have a glass capsule to change in to their mission suits."
- "How did you do that?" Bree asked her best friend.
- "It's between me, Donnie and Douglas." Maddie said.
- "So, we can't know how you convince him to give us beds?" The genius boy asked.
- "No! We are not talking about this." The father shook his head.
- "You traumatized him." S-2 snickered.
- "Just a little." The alien girl smiled.
The green hazel-eyed boy chuckled. I wonder what she could possibly have said.
- "And the hydraloop." The scientist showed another blueprint.
- "Oh. What's a hydraloop?" S-3 asked, excited.
- "This guy. 'What's a hydraloop?'" Chase laughed.
- "Yeah. This guy." Adam chuckled.
- "Not everyone is a genius like you, Chase." The Matthews girl, gently, nudged him.
The genius boy blushed, brightly, before putting his forearm on her shoulder.
- "What is a hydraloop?" The tall guy whispered to his best friend.
- "It's an ultra-modern high-speed transport system that works like a pneumatic tube to and from the island." Donald explained. "You hop in on one side, and it spits you out on the mainland in minutes. That alone cost me 50 million dollars."
- "Great, see you on the island." The Krane boy geo-leaped away.
- "It's not even built, yet." The Krane girl sighed, in despair. "I'll go get him." She geo-leaped away.
- "You couldn't spend 50 million dollars to make us do that?" Leo asked.
The father glared at him.
Everyone walked away, leaving the geniuses alone.
- "So, what did you tell him?" Chase questioned.
- "Nothing, you want to know." Maddie smiled.
- "It's THAT bad?" The bionic boy asked.
- "It's THAT dirty." The alien girl replied.
- "Oh boy." The Davenport boy closed his eyes. "What did you say?"
- "I am not answering that." The Matthews girl started to walk away.
- "Tell me." The green hazel-eyed boy said as he followed her.
- "Make me." The blue-eyed girl joked.
- "I will." Chase ran towards her, chuckling.
- "No! I was kidding!" Maddie ran away, without using her super speed, as she laughed.
