At the end of the week, the bionic trio was walking down the stairs.
- "Ohh. I'm so glad school's over! Ms. Thistle talked for an hour in history." Bree complained. "I mean, she's 90. Does she really need to waste all that breath?"
Probably not. Chase shrugged.
- "What's all this?" He asked when he saw a line of students being searched by the lunch ladies.
- "Listen up, frogspawn!" Perry yelled. "Security check. Put all metal objects in the bucket and proceed to the wands for a more thorough search."
- "Principal Perry, what's going on?" The bionic girl questioned.
- "Somebody's been stealing computers from the computer lab, and I'm gonna bust the perp. Or perps." The principal glared at the trio. "Bottom line, nobody leaves this school without going through those metal detectors. And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to sort through your loose change and have a little heart-to-heart with the vending machine. "
- "Guys, we cannot get wanted. Those things will go off like crazy if they detect our bionics." The Davenport girl said.
- "Well, what are we going to do? She's totally going to bust us." The genius boy replied.
- "Bust you for what?" Perry whispered in his ear. "What are you hiding- little bo-peep?"
Seriously? The green hazel-eyed boy thought.
- "He's not hiding anything." Bree chuckled.
- "Well, he does have an unusually large birthmark on his left hip. If you stare at it long enough, it kind of looks like Justin Bieber." Adam snickered.
Shut it. Chase gestured to his brother to stop talking.
- "Let's go." The principal grabbed him and dragged him towards the lunch ladies. "Empty your pockets."
- "Principal Perry..." The genius boy started.
- "Comply, perp!" Perry yelled. The green hazel-eyed boy sighed and put his phone in the bucket. "Wand him." The lunch ladies scanned him, and when they reached Chase's neck, it detected his bionics. "Well, what do you know, we got one. Flank him girls, the little ones always put up a fight!"
The three lunch ladies surrounded him.
Crap. The genius boy thought.

Later, the bionic trio was standing in the main school hallway.
- "Everyone cleared the checkpoint hours ago." Perry said. "So, why do you three flesh bags keep setting it off? You may not have the laptops, but you're hiding something." She gasped. "Maybe another pat down from Carol and Deb will make ya talk."
- "No. No. We're good. The first one already scared me for life." Bree replied.
Agreed. Chase nodded.
The trio started to walk away.
- "Don't move." The principal stopped them. "Nobody's going anywhere until I get to the bottom of this." She took out her phone and walked inside her office.
- "Guys, we have got to get out of here." The genius boy said.
- "Relax. The only way Perry could actually see our bionics unless she rips our skin off." Adam replied.
- "Have you met Carol and Deb?" The bionic girl asked as she looked at the lunch ladies, who were punching each other. "I'm pretty sure it's in their wheelhouse."
- "Great news!" Perry exclaimed as she walked back in.
- "You're letting us go?" The Davenport girl smiled.
- "No!" The principal mocked. "I made a call to my friend Chet over at airport security, and he's gonna let me borrow an X-ray machine!"
- "You have a friend at the airport? Well, ask him if he'll let pass up peanuts from the 5–10 to Devor!" The tall guy exclaimed.
- "Once I get that machine, it'll show what you're hiding. Wherever it is, you're hiding it." Perry whispered in Chase's neck.
Too close. The genius boy leaned back.
- "We're screwed." The eldest siblings said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the childhood best friends came down the stairs, leading to the living room and kitchen.
- "What are you doing here?" Donald asked from his desk.
- "We live here." Leo replied. The father rolled his eyes, amused. "We're the one you didn't cobble together in your basement."
- "I mean, why aren't you at school?" The scientist questioned.
- "I got a little head cold. I sneezed in class and I don't know what came out, but I walked out two pounds lighter." The short boy explained.
Donald frowned.
- "And you?" He looked at Maddie.
- "My teacher wasn't there." The alien girl replied.
- "Alright." The father nodded.
- "Donald, I think there's something wrong with your credit card." Tasha walked in. "When I went to by groceries, it was declined."
- "Declined? How could that be?" The scientist frowned.
- "Let me make it clear. SHE SPENT ALL YOUR MONEY!" Eddy shouted.
- "I did not spend all his money." The mother replied.
- "Oh. Saving a little for a face lift?" The home system asked.
The journalist lunged at the screen but was stopped by the best friends.
- "This card is completely maxed out with purchases I didn't make." Donald looked at his computer. "A plane ticket, a speed boat, $2,000 worth of hair dye and colored contact lenses." The trio looked at him. "This time, it was not me!"
- "Okay." The Matthews girl nodded.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the bionic trio followed their principal to the gymnasium, where an X-Ray machine was.
- "I should have thought of this X-Ray machine, a long time ago." Perry chuckled. "Now, I can bust you three, and find out what that stabbing ache in my kidney is. Just got to power it up." She walked to the machine.
- "There must be a way to break this machine." Chase said.
- "Hey, what about if I use my blast wave ability. Y'know when I concentrate real hard and everything around me falls apart?" Adam asked.
Yes! That's perfect! The genius boy smiled.
- "Oh! That's right! I just keep forgetting that you're not completely useless." Bree replied.
- "Ok, jumbo, get in there." The principal pointed at the tall guy. "Your day of reckoning has come!"
- "Umm... Hey, there's a little birdy in here!" The eldest sibling pointed across the room.
- "Oooh, I'll get it!" Perry exclaimed and ran towards the fake bird with the lunch ladies. "My cats love it when mama bring them home a treat!"
- "Now!" The mission leader ordered.
Adam powered up his blast wave ability.
- "Where is the little flying rat?" The principal looked up. The tall guy used his blast wave ability and destroyed the X-ray machine, making the entire room shake. "Ahhh!! Earthquake!! Cover me!! Cover me!!" Perry yelled, and the lunch ladies covered her.
- "Wow! That was some jolt!" The bionic girl exclaimed.
- "That was nothing. Once I got stuck under my car, and all I had was two cans of cat food and the leather from the belt." Perry explained. "Longest 2 hours of my life!" The trio looked at her, in worry. She turned around and saw the destroy X-ray machine. "Awww Puppy heads! The earthquake broke my machine!"
- "Oh. No, that is terrible." The Davenport said, sadly. "Well, good luck with that!"
The trio started to run out.
- "Ahhh! Not so fast, pixie!" The principal stopped them. "I can fix this. You may not know this, but I work weekends as a lumber girl down at the tool tent. No-one knew their way through a claw hammer better than I do."
- "I do not doubt that." Chase replied.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, in the lab, Leo was using the computer to try to track the hackers while the two geniuses were working on the cyber desk.
- "I can't access anything, Donnie." Maddie said.
- "Damn it." Donald hit the cyber desk.
- "We'll find a way." The alien girl put her hand on his shoulder.
- "Leo, do you have any luck tracing those hackers?" The father asked.
- "No. Every IP address you gave me leads to a dead end." The short boy explained. "These people really covered their tracks."
- "I don't have any fingerprints or evidence, but I've drawn a police sketch of what I think the suspect looks like." Eddy showed a picture of Tasha.
- "I can't access anything. The contexts of my Cyber-Desk have been wiped clean." The scientist explained. His tablet beeped. "This is worse than I thought. Every one of my facilities worldwide have been hacked! Every database... The entire infrastructure of Davenport Industries is gone." He dropped the tablet on the desk, frustrated. "This is not a run-of-the-mill computer hacker, guys. It's obviously someone who hates me and wants to ruin my life."
- "Well, that could be anyone." The son, sarcastically, replied.
It could be one person. The Matthews girl thought. But he's frozen. She looked at the tablet and searched for the video footage of the facility, but like everything else, it had been wiped. Guess I'll have to go myself.
- "Alright." Donald answered.
- "What are we gonna do?" Leo asked.
- "I'm gonna have to call my friend at the FBI." The father took out his phone.
- "Wait, you have a friend at the FBI? Wow! That is so cool!" The short boy exclaimed.
- "Wait until you know how they met." Maddie whispered to her best friend.
- "Yeah, we're Yoga buddies." The scientist smiled.
- "And now, it's not cool." The son replied.
- "Told you." The alien girl said. Donald glared at them, before calling his friend. "If Donald asks where I am, tell him, I'm with Tasha." She whispered.
- "Where are you going?" Leo frowned.
- "I'm gonna go check out if Douglas is still frozen." The Matthews girl explained.
- "You think that it could be him?" The short boy frowned.
- "It would make sense." Maddie said. "Who hates Donnie more than him?"
- "No one." The Davenport boy shook his head.
- "Exactly. Plus, like I told you, guys, he works with a guy named Krane, who implanted himself with bionics." The alien girl whispered. "He could've freed Douglas."
- "Why are we whispering?" Leo asked.
- "Because I'm not sure. And Donnie is worried, enough. I don't need to make it worse, until we are sure." The Matthews girl explained.
- "Alright. Be safe." The short boy said.
- "Always am." Maddie opened a portal and walked through it.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, in the gymnasium, the bionic trio was still being held hostage by their principal.
- "Alrighty, lefty, right loosey, CRAM IT IN THERE!!" She yelled as she tried to fix the machine. "I can't fix it!" She groaned.
- "You know, as much as we'd all love to sit here and watch you master the art of screw driving, we're gonna go!" Chase said.
The trio ran out.
- "Hold it!" Perry followed them. "You, three, got lucky, but I know you're up to something!"
Sparks came out of the electrical box.
- "Your blast wave ability must have loosened the electrical box." The genius boys whispered to his brother.
- "Eh, just a little fire hazard. I'll fix it next week." The principal shrugged. A wire came out and almost electrocuted her. "AAAH!" She screamed.
- "Look out!" Bree super speeded to get her out of the way, which Perry saw.
- "We gotta stop that wire, before someone gets electrocuted!" The mission leader explained to his brother. "I'll stabilize it, you sever it!" He used his molecular kinesis to stabilize the wire. "Okay, now!" Adam cut it with his heat vision, causing the principal to see. The youngest brother threw the severed wire away. "Yes!" He bro-hugged the tall guy.
- "Yeah!" The eldest sibling yelled.
- "And... that's our magic show!" The genius boy smiled.
- "Ta da!" Adam exclaimed.
Perry screamed and ran away.
- "Uh-oh." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
- "We're dead." The Davenport girl replied.
- "Wow! I have never seen her run." The tall guy answered.
True. Chase nodded.
The trio walked to the classroom where their principal had locked herself.
- "Principal Perry, you can come out. It's okay!" Bree yelled at the door. "We're not gonna hurt you!"
- "Yeah, what she means is it'll only hurt for a second, and then, you'll probably pass out." The eldest siblings replied.
The bionic girl smacked his arm.
- "He's spending too much time with M." She said to her youngest brother.
- "Definitely." The genius boy nodded.
- "Stand back, freaks!" Perry walked out of the classroom with a long stick. The trio stepped back. "I always knew there was something off about you, three, but now, I know the truth! You are Martians!"
- "Yes, we're Martians." The green hazel-eyed boy replied. "You don't see a head like that on a human." He pointed at his brother.
- "We're not Martians, we're humans with bionics abilities." Adam said. "Well, Maddie is an alien. Anyway, I have super strength, she has super speed and Chase, what do you again?" He asked.
Shut it! The mission leader glared at him.
- "Matthews is a Martian?" Perry frowned.
- "And a Calderian and a Daxamite and a Kryptonian. It's very complicated." The tall guy replied.
- "Like Superman?" The principal asked.
- "Yep." The eldest sibling smirked.
- "But you're bionic? I've seen movies about you, people. You act all nice, but an hour in, you turn, and try to kill Will Smith!" The principal yelled.
- "No, we use our abilities for good things like life-saving missions." The Davenport girl explained. "For instance, the way we just saved yours." She put her hand on the principal's shoulder.
- "Aaah! Stay away from me!" Perry yelled and walked away from the trio. "I've gotta go call the cops, or FBI. Or... or the fire department! Uhh!" She groaned. "Think, Terry! What would Will Smith do?!" She walked in her office.
Bree super speeded herself and her brothers to the mansion. Adam went to the kitchen and took out pudding.
- "Adam, what are you doing?" The bionic girl asked.
- "Our normal lives are over, I have to say goodbye to my pudding!" The tall guy exclaimed.
- "Okay, what are we gonna do?" The Davenport girl turned to her youngest brother.
- "We have to tell Dad." Chase said.
- "Right, let's just tell him, and get it over with." Bree replied.
- "Are you crazy? We can't tell Dad!" The genius boy exclaimed.
- "It was your idea!" Bree yelled.
- "Oh, so NOW, you're gonna start listening to me?" The mission leader shouted. The doorbell rang. "Wait, don't answer it, it could be the authorities."
- "Or, we won a sweepstakes." The eldest sibling replied. "I know it's a long shot, but I'm willing to take the risk."
- "Am I the only person capable of answering the door?" Tasha walked in and opened the door.
- "FBI." The man at the door showed his badge. "I need to see Donald Davenport."
- "Donald, you better come downstairs! The FBI is here!" The mother yelled.
The bionic girl grabbed her brothers and super speeded down to the lab.
- "What was that?" The agent asked.
- "Donald!!!" The journalist shouted as she continued smiling.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
The bionics brothers were in the lab, while their sister was searching for Maddie.
- "She's not here or at school." Bree super speeded back.
- "Guys, what are we gonna do?" Chase asked.
- "Oh, what are you worried about? You're so small, they probably won't even see you." Adam replied.
- "Adam, is this really the time to be making short jokes?" The genius boy questioned.
- "Chase, there's never not a time, because just like you, life is short." The tall guy explained.
The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes, irritated.
- "Will you stop it?" The bionic stepped in between her brothers and pointed at her older brother's chest. "The FBI is upstairs ready to drag us away, and who knows what they'll do to Dad or Maddie when they find her! We have to do something, fast!"
- "As much as I hate to say it, Mads can handle herself. If they come after her, she will fly away. We can't do anything for her if we don't know where she is." The mission leader sighed. "Do you, guys, remember the conversation we had a long time ago... when we first started living as normal kids?" He asked.
- "The one you told me to forgot and never bring up? No." Adam winked at his brother.
- "The one where we made a 'last resort' pact, if anyone ever discovered our bionic secret." Chase explained.
- "Well, I don't know what you want me to say. Did you not see me wink?" The tall guy replied.
- "It's time. We have to protect ourselves and Dad. Are you in?" The genius boy stuck out his hand.
- "I'm in." The eldest sibling put his hand on top of his brother's.
- "Bree?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.
- "Our lives will change forever." The bionic girl said, sadly.
- "I know." The youngest Davenport replied.
- "There's just gotta be another way..." The Davenport girl started.
- "Bree." The mission leader, firmly, said. "We have no other choice."
- "I'm in." Bree put her hand on top of Adam's.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Leo walked down to the living room.
- "Hey Big D, what happened with your friend at the FBI?" He asked.
- "He just left. I gave him all the information, but he said this hacking is beyond anything he's ever seen before." Donald explained. "It's gonna be weeks before they have any leads." Someone knocked at the door, and he opened it, only to reveal Perry. "Principal Perry, what are you doing here?"
- "Does our front gate even have a code?" The short boy questioned.
- "You don't run a woman's correctional facility without learning how to scale a few walls." The principal explained. "Anywho, I just wanted to stop by, say hello... and tell you that I KNOW YOUR KIDS ARE BIONIC AND MATTHEWS IS AN ALIEN!!!" She shouted.
- "Ha ha ha ha! Bionic! Alien!" The father, exaggeratedly, laughed. "I- I what are you talking about? I don't think so. Just because a child, says they're bionic or alien I..."
- "The big one shot lasers from his eyes, the girl could run faster than lighting, and the stubby one could move things with his mind!" Perry exclaimed. "And I know that the violent girl is like superman."
- "Oh yeah, she's got you." The Davenport boy replied.
- "Is he bionic too?" The principal touched his arm.
- "Seriously? Look at him." The scientist pointed at his son, who looked at him, offended. "Leo, go downstairs and bring Adam, Bree, Chase, and Maddison up here, now."
Leo ran out of the room.
- "Oh, hello, Principal Perry." Tasha walked in.
- "Hello Tasha." Perry mocked.
- "Donald, what's going on?" The mother asked.
- "She knows." Donald whispered.
- "Knows what?" The journalist frowned. Her husband titled his head towards the lab. "Ooooh. They were here when I got here!" She exclaimed.
- "I've never seen you look so nervous, Don. I gotta say, it's real nice." The principal said.
- "Look, I can explain everything." The father replied.
- "Ah! No need. My first instinct was to go straight to the authorities, but then I thought I've got secrets, too. A Lady of Mystery, if you will." Perry chuckled.
- "So, you're gonna keep this between us? Oh, thank yo..." The scientist went to hug her, but she dodged.
- "Not quite. I'll keep your secret, but it's gonna cost you." The principal explained. "A lot."
- "Who do you think you are, blackmailing us? We will never..." Tasha started.
- "Deal." Donald said.
- "What?! You're just gonna let her win?" The mother asked.
- "Yes. If it allows is to keep our family together." The father replied. "So, the leprechaun finally got her pot of gold."
- "I'm gonna rich! I'm gonna be rich! I'm gonna be rich!" Perry danced.
Someone knocked on the door.
- "What now?" The scientist asked, irritated.
Three men wearing suits were standing outside.
- "Donald Davenport, we're with the First International Bank, this house and everything in it no longer belongs to you." The eldest man explained.
- "What?! That's ridiculous. I have billions of dollars in your bank." Donald frowned.
- "Not anymore, all of your accounts were liquidated hours ago." The man replied.
- "I never authorized that." The father said.
- "Well, your signature says otherwise." The eldest man handed him a clipboard.
- "My sign...?" The scientist looked at the paper. "Look, whoever...hacked my accounts must have forged my signature."
- "That may well be Mr. Davenport, but until we straighten this mess out, we're gonna seize all your assets." The man explained.
- "What do you mean?" Donald frowned.
- "I mean, you're broke!" The eldest man exclaimed, before walking out.
- "I'm bro... You're broke?" The principal asked.
- "Donald, they're towing the cars." Tasha said.
- "Wow, rough day!" Perry yelled.
- "Yeah, no kidding." The father replied.
- "I meant for me. Well, I guess our little deal is off." The principal answered.
- "What?" The scientist frowned.
- "If you're broke, you can't buy my silence. Ooooh, what to do, what to do?" Perry picked up a bowl. "This isn't over!" She walked towards the door and took a wall decoration.
- "Wait!" Donald yelled as the principal took the outside bench.
- "Big D, we have a problem." Leo ran in.
- "Leo, where are Adam, Bree, Chase, and Maddison?" The father asked.
- "I found this in the lab." The short boy put a device on the table and the holograms of the bionic trio appeared.
- "Hello? Testing, testing. Echo. ECHO!" Adam yelled.
Bree smacked his chest.
- "Dad, we really messed up." Chase said.
- "We didn't mean to expose our bionics to Perry, but she was in danger, and we had no choice." The bionic girl continued.
- "You always trained us to handle any mission, and right now, the mission is survival, yours and ours." The genius boy explained.
- "I mean, if we're not around there's no proof that we exist, so we're leaving, for good." The tall guy added, sadly.
- "Thank you, for all that you've done for us. You made us who we are. You, mom, and Leo gave us the best family we could've asked for. And thanks to you, Leo, we met Maddie." The Davenport girl said.
- "She's the best friend we could've dreamed about." The eldest sibling replied.
- "Please, warn her about this and tell her to run." The green hazel-eyed boy added. "We couldn't find her."
- "We're sorry we let you down." Bree sniffled.
- "We love you, mom, dad, and Leo." Adam wiped his eyes.
- "And tell Mads that we love her, too. And that we are sorry for making her loose someone again." Chase said as a single tear rolled on his cheek.
The hologram turned off.
- "I've got to find 'em." Donald said, sadly.
- "I already tried. They must've disabled their GPS signals, there's no trace of them anywhere." Leo explained. "They're gone."
The father let a couple of tears fall on his cheeks. His wife and son, quickly, hugged him.
- "Where is Maddie if she's not with them?" Tasha asked.
- "Um. Funny story." The short boy laughed, awkwardly. "She thinks that Douglas is behind all that and that Krane freed him. So since the security footage don't work, she went to your offshore facility."
- "Tell her to come back, now." The scientist replied as he wiped his tears.
- "She didn't take her phone." The Davenport boy said.
Donald shook his head and walked down to the lab.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes later, Donald was staring at his children's empty capsules.
- "The guy from the bank says we gotta go now, they're changing the lock on all the doors." Leo said.
- "I can't believe they're gone." The father replied.
- "I should have been at school today. It's my job to watch out for them and I didn't, this is all my fault!" The short boy exclaimed with tears in his eyes.
- "No, it's not." The scientist said, firmly. "It's not theirs either. I gotta find them. I can't even use my Cyber-Desk. Who is doing this to me?"
- "It's Douglas." Maddie said as she walked through a portal.
- "Thank God, you're okay." Donald hugged.
- "Why the faces?" The alien girl asked. "What happened?"
- "Long story short, Adam, Bree, and Chase used their bionics in front of Perry to save her. They thought that she was going to tell the authorities, so they ran. And she knows that you are an alien." The Davenport boy explained.
- "I was gone one hour!" The Matthews girl exclaimed.
- "I know." Leo shook his head, in despair.
- "Anyway, Douglas escaped." Maddie explained. "I went to your offshore facility. The guard said that he was attacked by a super human.
- "It had to be Krane." The father replied.
- "That's what I thought, so I went to every single one of their lairs, but they are nowhere to be found." The blue-eyed girl explained.
- "Damn it." The short boy replied. "Why is Krane doing that?"
- "He's a psycho." The alien girl shrugged.
And he's dating Douglas. He wasn't going to let his boyfriend frozen. She thought.
Only Donald knew that his brother was bisexual, but he did not know that he was dating Krane. The Matthews girl kept it a secret because it was not her place to say neither that Douglas is bisexual nor that he is dating a madman.
- "If Douglas escaped, that means Adam, Bree, and Chase are in real danger, we all are." The scientist said.
- "You sure are, Donnie!" Douglas appeared on the screen, behind them. "I'm baack!" He, manically, laughed.
- "Yeah, Maddison already figured that out." Donald replied.
- "Anyway, I just thought you should know that it was me who did this to you, well I had a little help." The evil genius explained.
- "Yeah, we know, porcupine." The Matthews girl crossed her arms.
- "Shut up!" Douglas yelled.
- "Never." Maddie smiled.
- "And now that I'm free, I think I'm gonna go spend some quality time with my three wonderful kids!" The evil genius exclaimed.
- "You go anywhere near them, it'll be the last thing you ever do!" The father threatened.
- "They're mine, Donnie!" Douglas yelled.
- "No, they're not!" The alien girl replied.
- "I'll find them first." The eldest brother said.
- "Good luck! That's gonna be a little hard to do without your lab." The evil genius laughed and activated a detonator.
- "Leo, that's a detonator." Donald said.
Maddie grabbed the father and the son and super speeded them to the elevator. The lab blew up, and the doors closed behind them, stopping the flames.
- "Are you, guys, okay?" The alien girl asked.
- "Yeah." Leo sighed.
- "Yeah." The father nodded. "Hopefully, my sprinkler system extinguished the fire before it spread to the rest of the house."
- "What are we gonna do?" The short boy asked.
- "I'm working on it, Leo." The scientist replied.
- "Well, hurry up. I mean, if we don't find a computer, Douglas and that creepy masked guy are gonna beat us to Adam, Bree, and Chase!" The Davenport boy exclaimed.
- "I will figure something out, Leo." Donald said.
- "How? Your lab is gone, your cars are gone, Davenport Industries is ruined!" Leo yelled.
- "I got it, Leo." The father replied.
- "And to top it all off, you're completely broke!" The short boy exclaimed.
Donald slid down the wall and started crying in his hands. The childhood best friends looked at him.
- "I'm crying about the kids!" He yelled.
- "It's gonna be okay." Maddie crouched down and put her hand on his shoulder. "We'll find them." She hugged him.
Leo crouched down and hugged his father.
- "Thank you, guys." The father wiped his tears.
- "Come on." The alien girl got up and extended her hand to the Davenports.
They took it and got up. She opened a portal upstairs.
