A few days later, the bionic trio was completing their training on a virtual training platform.

- "Great job, guys. You just took out an entire unit of virtual cyborgs." Leo said.

- "I think it's sad that you have to invent people to play with you." Eddy replied.

Chase rolled his eyes.

- "All right Leo, I'm off the clock. Let's get outta here." Adam started walking away with his brother.

- "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Just 'cause Dad's away, doesn't mean we stop training." The mission leader replied. The two older brothers groaned. "How do you think I feel? I'm missing a four-hour documentary on the history of the Printing Press."

- "But Leo and I were gonna play human bull's-eye bounce." The tall guy explained. "Don't worry, it's way more dangerous than it sounds."

- "Human bull's-eye bounce. Is there any way you can get a good enough bounce to land in the emergency room? 'Cause that would save us a lot of time." The genius boy answered.

- "Nope. He's right, Adam. As much as I enjoy watching you get hurt, and I really do." Bree laughed.

So do I. The green hazel-eyed boy nodded. And so does Mads.

- "We have to train." The bionic girl explained.

- "Oh, come on! The adults are away! If we don't take advantage by doing something destructive, we're no better than... Chase." The Dooley boy looked at his brother.

- "The adults are away for the hearing for Maddie's custody." The Davenport girl frowned. "It's not the time to be destructive."

Maddie's hearing for the Davenport couple to have her custody started, the day before. It was supposed to last three days and for those three days, the couple and the alien girl were staying in a hotel, in San Francisco.

- "She's right." Chase replied. "We can be destructive with Mads, later. For now, we need to be calm. Mads needs us, she won't have us by her side if we are grounded."

- "You know, he's right, Leo." Bree said.

- "But Maddie and the adults won't come back until tomorrow night, we have time." Leo argued.

- "I'm sorry, but unless he can be in two places at once, he's training." The mission leader replied. "Come on, let's get the bo staffs."

- "Oh man, I never get to do what I want. It's not fair." Adam complained.

- "Aww. Are all of your cool bionic abilities and top secret missions getting you down?" The bionic girl sassed.

- "Thanks Bree. I knew you'd understand." The tall guy said, softly.

The younger bionic siblings rolled their eyes, before walking away.

- "You think she'll be okay?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked his sister.

- "Yeah, it's M. She's strong, and she has us." The Davenport girl replied.

- "Yeah, but she's not here, TODAY. Today, of all days." Chase sighed. "It's the anniversary of her adoption and her Earth birthday."

- "I know." Bree sighed. "But she'll be there tomorrow, and we are gonna celebrate."

- "I'll try to make Claire's cake." The youngest brother said.

- "You have the recipe?" The bionic girl asked.

- "I do. I helped Claire making Mads' birthday cake." The genius boy explained. "So, I remember." He pointed his head, smirking.

The Davenport girl rolled her eyes, amused.

- "She'll be happy." She smiled.

- "I hope so." Chase sighed.

- "Okay, if you're making her favorite dessert, she will, for sure, love you!" Bree exclaimed.

The genius boy smiled as his cheeks, slightly, reddened.

- "I hope that it will be good, though." He said.

- "You're a good cook, I'm sure it will be good." The bionic girl replied.

- "Thanks." The youngest Davenport smiled.

- "And even, if it has an awful taste, just the intention will make M happy." The Davenport girl explained.

- "Yeah." Chase nodded.

- "Chase, this is very sweet of you." Bree patted his shoulder. "You are a hundred-percent gonna make her cry." She chuckled.

- "That's not my goal." The genius boy scoffed, amused.

- "I know, but if it's from the bottom of your heart, she will cry." The bionic girl said.

- "True." The youngest Davenport snickered.

They walked out of the room.

A couple of minutes later, the two younger bionic siblings entered the lab with three bo staffs. Bree handed one of them to her older brother.

- "All right. Break's over. Fire up the simulator." The mission leader ordered. "Adam, please remember: the cyborgs are fake, but I am real."

- "Just one question: is this real?" Adam hit his younger brother's lower back with the bo staff.

- "Ow! Why did you do that?" Chase asked.

- "Because real pain's funnier than fake pain." The tall guy replied, before hitting hard his brother's lower back again.

- "Uhh! Ohh!" The genius boy exclaimed, in pain.

- "You're a genius? Ha! Even I saw that coming." The bionic girl scoffed.

The two older siblings high-fived.

Later, that day, Leo was in his room calling his best friend.

- "Hey!" Maddie said through the phone.

- "Happy Earth birthday!" The short boy exclaimed.

- "Thank you." The alien girl snickered. "So, how is everything back at the mansion?"

- "You know the usual: Adam hurting Chase, Chase being bossy, Bree missing not having a sister." The Dooley boy shrugged as he flopped on his bed.

- "So, everything is fine." The Matthews girl laughed.

- "Yep." Leo replied. "I miss you."

- "I left yesterday." Maddie snickered.

- "I know, but it's weird not having you or Claire around." The short boy sighed as tears formed in his eyes.

- "I'll be back tomorrow, don't worry." The alien girl smiled, sadly, through the phone. "You're not getting rid of me."

- "That's good to know." The Dooley boy smiled, through the tears.

- "I miss her so much." The Matthews girl said as tears flowed on her cheeks.

- "Me too, Dee." Leo sighed. "You remember when she snuck us out, without my mom knowing, to watch Avengers?" He chuckled.

- "It was amazing!" Maddie exclaimed. "Tasha, never, found out." She laughed.

- "I know, your mom is good." The short boy chuckled, before realizing. "Was good." He whispered.

- "Yeah, she was." The alien girl sighed. "When the next marvel movie comes out, we are sneaked out!"

- "Oh, yes!" The Dooley boy yelled. "I am so in!"

- "Yeah, I can hear that." The Matthews girl chuckled.

- "Are you sure you don't want to come back, for the night?" Leo asked.

- "Yes, I'm sure." Maddie replied. "I want to be alone."

- "Okay." The short boy sighed. "But if, at any moment of the night, you change your mind, you can always come to my room."

- "It's really sweet, but you won't even hear if I come in." The alien girl laughed.

- "It's not my fault I am a really deep sleeper." The Dooley boy replied.

- "I know." The Matthews girl rolled her eyed, amused. "Goodnight, underachiever."

- "Goodnight, disappointment." Leo smiled.

Maddie smiled and hung up.

I love him. She thought.

The next day, the younger bionic siblings were talking in the school hallway.

- "Hey, Hansel and Gretel." Perry walked up to them. "My niece is visiting from.... um... wherever she lives, and I'm gonna assign you two to be chaperones for a couple of days." She explained.

- "Oh, uh... well, see, I can't." Chase started.

- "We are so sorry." Bree said.

- "... 'Cause I gotta be..." The genius boy continued.

- "Oh, that's so cute. You think you have a choice." The principal cackled.

- "But why would you need us to show her around? You can't stand us." The bionic girl answered.

- "Oh, you've noticed." Perry put her hand on her heart, touched. "Look, my niece's sweetness and, if she hangs around the cool kids, they'll corrupt her. That's why she's hanging with you."

The youngest Davenport gasped, offended. Well, Mads thinks we're cool, so... HA! He mocked.

- "If it's unclear, let me spell it out: you're not cool." The principal chuckled.

- "Hi, aunt Terry." A girl greeted with a sweet voice.

She had glasses and brown hair. She was very small.

- "Kerry, darling." Perry smiled. "This is uhh... give me a second... Kevvvinnn... Suzzzzannnn..." She hesitated.

- "Bree and Chase." The Davenport girl said.

- "No one really cares." The principal said to her niece.

- "Nice to meet you. I'm Kerry Perry." The little girl smiled and shook the hands of the siblings. "Thanks for showing me around. I hope it's not too much of a bother."

Well, she seems sweet. The green hazel-eyed boy thought.

- "No, no. We are happy to be forced to help." Bree replied.

- "Great. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm headed to the chem lab to sear off a wart." Perry walked away.

- "Bye, aunt Terry!" Kerry giggled.

How can she be a Perry? Chase smiled.

- "Here's the deal, ladies." The little girl turned to the siblings. "I'm skipping school and hitting the mall. And when I get there, I'm gonna plant a dead fly in my burrito and eat for free."

- "Sorry, but as your chaperone..." The genius boy started.

- "Shut it, squat-mug!" Kerry shouted.

Yep, she's a Perry. The youngest Davenport's eyes widened.

- "Little elves called, they want you back at the tree to make cookies." The little girl mocked.

The green hazel-eyed boy locked his jaw, irritated. Gosh, I wish Mads was here.

- "Umm... you can't talk to us like that." The bionic girl replied.

- "Ha! Just did, boy hips!" Kerry answered. The Davenport girl gasped, in horror. "I'm outta here."

- "You can't just go." Chase said.

- "Yeah. What are we supposed to tell your aunt? Besides the fact that she should round up some bail money." Bree replied.

Totally. The genius boy nodded.

The little girl pushed the books that Bree was holding on the floor.

- "Tell her I was with you two nimrods all day!" She yelled. "And, you better do my homework, or else you'll get this." She turned around. "Aunt Terry! They were so mean to me! Make them pay! Make them pay!" She sobbed loudly. "So we're good? Later, peeps." She walked away.

- "Okay, she is definitely a Perry." The youngest Davenport replied.

- "You know, right now, I kinda wish we had violent Maddie." The bionic girl snickered.

The two siblings laughed.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, after school ended, the younger bionic siblings were handing homework to Kerry, behind a column.

- "Math homework, chemistry homework, history homework." Chase handed her the papers, one by one.

- "And, here's your art project. Don't expect an A." Bree, sarcastically, smiled.

- "Don't expect a thank you." The little girl replied. "Now, give me twenty bucks."

- "For what?" The bionic girl asked.

- "Milkshakes for me and my girls. Fork it over, princess!" Kerry yelled, before stealing money out of the Davenport girl's purse.

- "What?" Bree frowned, in disbelief.

- "You just got a shakedown by a pre-teen!" The genius boy chuckled.

- "I'm thirteen, bum-sweat!" The little girl shouted.

The bionic girl mocked her brother.

- "Were you raised by a gang of bikers?" The youngest Davenport yelled.

- "That's it. We are done with this." The Davenport girl said to her brother, who nodded. They walked towards their principal. "Principal Perry, we need to have a little discussion about your niece."

- "We sure do. She loves you two." Perry chuckled.

- "What? That's impossible." Chase replied.

- "I know. I find you repulsive." The principal frowned, in disgust.

One more thing to add to my insecurities. The genius boy thought.

- "Thanks for watching Kerry. This morning, I got to spend an extra hour at the dog track!" Perry exclaimed.

- "Okay, that's great. But we..." Bree started.

- "So now, I need you to watch her tonight. I'm playing flag football with the sheriffs." The principal explained.

- "And how do you get to play flag football with the sheriffs?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.

- "Go to enough highway wrecks with free pizza, and they'll let you in." Perry chucked. "Anyway, if you watch Kerry, I might just forget about the detention days you've accrued."

- "What detention days?" The bionic girl frowned.

- "You mouthin' off? You just got detention!" The principal smiled.

What? The youngest Davenport thought.

- "What? You can't do that!" The Davenport girl complained.

- "Just did, Sally sideburns!" Perry mocked.

- "That is it. We are done watch..." Bree started.

- "Can you just give us one second, please?" Chase said and took his sister away. "Look, okay. The girl is a nightmare, but if we do this, we might get on Principal Perry's good side."

- "The woman has many sides. None of them are good." The bionic girl replied. Her brother stared at her. "Fine, I'll do it." She sighed.

They walked back to the principal, who was stretching against the fountain.

The genius boy frowned, in disgust. Mads is strong just for seeing Perry naked. He shuddered.

- "We've discussed it, and Kerry is more than welcome to come over tonight." He said.

- "There you go again, acting like you have a choice." The principal pinched the Davenport boy's cheek, before starting stretching again.

Chase gagged.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the younger bionic siblings were in the living room with Kerry.

- "Bye, aunt Terry! Love you!" She yelled, sweetly, as a car drove away. "Ohh. Her car is disgusting. I don't know where the kitty litter ends and the cookie crumbs begin!" She complained to the siblings.

I'm not surprised. Chase thought.

- "All right, Kerry. You're on our turf, now. So, we're not gonna put off with you bossing us around." Bree smiled.

- "I'm not staying with you losers." The little girl scoffed. "I'm going to the skate park to throw marbles in the half pipe and then sell ice packs in the parking lot."

- "That is pure evil." The genius boy said.

- "You call it evil? I call it a lucrative side business." Kerry replied, until her phone rang. "Oh, my taxi's here. Don't wait up." She cackled and walked out the front door.

- "Aren't you gonna go after her?" The bionic girl asked.

- "Aren't you gonna go after her?" The youngest Davenport replied.

- "Fine, we'll both go." The Davenport girl sighed.

- "Hey. Hey, guys!" Leo ran in the room. "Um... we have a serious problem with Adam."

- "You'll have to be more specific." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Yes. There are five of him." The short boy explained with wide eyes.

What?! The mission leader thought.

- "What are you talking about?" Bree asked.

- "We made duplicates." The Dooley boy replied.

- "What?" Chase frowned.

- "Hey, guys." Adam walked in and opened the fridge.

- "Adam, what are you doing up here? You're supposed to be downstairs watching the other Adams." Leo said.

- "Hello? They're our guests. It would be rude not to offer them drinks." The tall guy replied. "'Two waters, 1 OJ, a one berry-infused decaf green tea, soy milk on the side'. One of me is very high-maintenance."

You've got to be kidding me. The genius boy shook his head. I need Mads to come back fast. Bree and I don't stand a chance against the chaos of Leo and Adam.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

In the lab, the three Adams duplicates were playing paper-rock-scissors. They all chose scissors, sighed and tried again. They all chose paper.

- "Ohh! That's twenty in a row!" One of the duplicates groaned as the two others sighed.

The four siblings walked in.

- "More Adams? We will never be able to air this place out." Bree said.

- "See, guys? There's nothing to worry about. They're all here." Adam replied.

- "I thought you said there were four duplicates." Chase answered.

- "Yeah, one, two, three, four." The tall guy counted the three duplicates, before counting himself. "Uh oh."

- "Just go track down the missing Adam." The genius boy ordered. "I'll keep an eye on them and find a way to reverse the duplication process. Where's the duplicator?"

- "Well, there's a shard of it underneath your shoes." Leo, awkwardly, replied.

- "You broke the duplicator!?" The mission leader yelled.

- "Hey, that thing was squirting out an Adam every ten seconds. What did you want me to do?" The short boy yelled, panicked.

Fair enough. The youngest sibling thought.

- "Just go find the missing Adam!" He ordered.

The three older siblings ran out.

One of the duplicates walked up to Chase.

- "Um, we were told there would be beverages." He said.

The genius boy closed his eyes, in despair.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A few minutes later, the bionic brothers were in the living room, searching for the missing duplicate.

- "Do you really think that your duplicate would be hiding under the cushions?" Chase asked.

- "Oh, he's definitely been there. My couch cookies are gone." Adam said.

- "I figured out how to get rid of the duplicates. When an electrical current flows through them, they vaporize." The genius boy explained, before showing the device in his hand. "I already used this to zap three of them downstairs. Now, we just have to find the one last Adam that got away."

- "Found him." Bree walked in with a duplicate Adam.

- "Found him." Leo walked in the front door with another duplicate Adam.

- "Guys, what is going on? There was only supposed to be one Adam left." The youngest sibling replied.

The elevator door to go to the lab opened, the siblings slowly turned around. Sixteen Adams were in the kitchen, talking all at once. The two Adams standing next to the siblings walked towards the others.

- "No. No. I cannot handle this many Adams." The bionic girl said. "The WORLD cannot handle this many Adams. This is Armageddon!" She yelled.

- "It doesn't make any sense. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's breaking things, and I definitely broke that duplicator." The short boy replied.

- "Well, did I not mention that the duplicates can multiply on their own?" Eddy asked. "They just had to learn how. And guess what, I taught them."

Seriously? The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes.

Someone knocked at the front door.

- "Yoo-hoo. Anybody home?" Perry asked.

- "Guys, that's Principal Perry." Chase whispered.

- "Great. So now, there are eighteen Adams walking around and no Kerry." The Davenport girl said.

- "Shhh. Let's just pretend we're not here." The genius boy whispered.

The Dooley boy put both of his hands on his mouth.

- "I heard that." The principal said from outside. "You don't think my parents tried that on me at Christmas? Kerry? Are you okay?" She knocked on the door, several times. "Open up!" She shouted.

- "Everything's fine! We just need a second." The green hazel-eyed boy said at the door.

- "Listen up, little pigs: I've got a welding torch and a battering ram in my trunk. This could go easy or this could go hard." Perry replied.

Chase ran towards the kitchen and zapped the Adams.

- "That's only seventeen." He said. "There's one left. Where is he?"

- "I don't know." Bree shrugged.

- "LOOK OUT BELOOOOOOW!" The principal shouted as she shimmied down the chimney.

She was covered in soot.

- "Did you just shimmy down the chimney?" Leo asked.

- "It's okay. I'm a professional. Used to be a chimney sweep back in the nineties. I learned the hard way not to wear a skirt." Perry grimaced as she explained.

The siblings frowned.

And Mads saw that. The mission leader frowned. My poor girl. I don't mean my girl like she's my girl. I just meant like... What am I explaining what I meant? It's my thoughts! I know what I mean!

- "Now, where's my niece?" The principal asked.

- "Uh, she's just getting her things together. She'll be out any minute." The bionic girl, nervously, chuckled.

- "Hey, guys." The last duplicate walked in, next to the real Adam.

- "Hey, Adam!" The genius boy replied, before turning around and seeing two versions of his older brother. "Adam?!"

- "What's going on? Why are there two of you?" Perry questioned.

- "You must've got some soot on your glasses." Chase lied.

- "Oh yeah, yes you did. Let's get those cleaned right off." The short boy took the principal's glasses and led her towards the kitchen. "Hey! Maybe, we can have a snack." He opened the fridge. "Would you like a celery stick?"

- "What do you think? Point me to your premium meats." Perry replied.

The Dooley boy obeyed.

- "Hurry up and zap them." The Davenport girl said to her youngest brother.

- "All right. Which one of you is the real Adam?" The genius boy asked.

- "I am." The two Adams, simultaneously, responded.

- "What are you waiting for? Just zap 'em both." Bree replied.

- "I can't. If I zap the real Adam, the jolt of electricity will fry his bionic infrastructure." The mission leader explained.

- "Well, you gotta zap one of 'em." The bionic girl scoffed.

- "May the best Adam win." The real Adam extended his hand.

- "Good luck, bro." The duplicate replied.

They pretended to go shake hands but moved their hands away, quickly.

- "Hurry up before Perry sees!" The Davenport girl whisper-yelled.

- "Your tartar sauce is expired! Can I have it?" The principal asked with her head inside the fridge.

- "I think you're good." The short boy murmured to his siblings.

- "All right, whichever of you is the real Adam, show me what you've got." Chase handed the device to his sister.

- "You asked for it." The real Adam walked up to his brother.

- "Wait." The genius boy said as his eldest brother made him turn around. "No! No! No! No! No!" The tall guy threw his brother across the room. "Aaah!"

Bree pointed the device at the duplicate.

- "Bye bye." He said, before disappearing.

The green hazel-eyed boy walked back in the room, panting. He glared at his eldest brother.

- "Uh, remember, next time I come over, I like my salami spicy." Perry said as she put back her dirty glasses. "Now, where is Kerry?"

- "The thing is... she's just... uh....." The two younger bionic siblings tried to speak, at the same time.

The two older brothers snuck out of the room.

Kerry walked in the front door.

- "Kerry!" The principal exclaimed.

- "Aunt Terry! You're here!" The little girl exclaimed, happily. "I was just taking a stroll on their lovely grounds, and I must have gotten lost."

- "So, you're okay?" Perry asked.

- "Okay? These two have been wonderful to me." Kerry hugged the younger bionic siblings' waists. "I'm just sad I'm not gonna get to hang with them anymore."

Why is she touching me? Chase thought, uncomfortably.

- "Well, then I have some good news. I'm enrolling you at Mission Creek so, then, you'll get to spend every day with... Steee... and Duu...." The principal started.

Kerry at Mission Creek? That is just great! The green hazel-eyed boy, sarcastically, thought.

- "Bree and Chase!" The bionic girl replied.

- "Yeah, I still don't care." Perry chuckled.

The little girl hugged the two siblings, tighter as they, obviously, both, looked uncomfortable.

Stop hugging me. The genius boy thought.

The door opened, and the alien girl walked in with a bag. She put her bag down as she read Kerry's mind.

A mini devil, great. Maddie thought and walked up to the siblings.

- "Hey, guys!" She pulled them into a hug, making the little girl let go of them.

Thank you. The youngest Davenport sighed.

- "Matthews, aren't you supposed to be away?" Perry asked.

- "Hello to you too, Principal Perry." The Matthews girl replied. "I was, but I'm back. The hearing is over. I, officially, live here now." She smiled.

The siblings smiled widely. Their best friend was staying with them; the judge did not make her go to a group home.

Yes! Chase exclaimed.

- "Great! More paper work! I hate paper work!" The principal yelled. "Come on, Kerry, let's go." She, sweetly, said.

- "Bye-bye, guys." Kerry smiled, gently.

The two Perrys walked out of the house.

- "Damn, she's practically as evil as her aunt." Maddie's eyes widened.

The siblings chuckled.

- "So, you're staying here, it's official?" Bree asked.

- "Yep." The alien girl smiled.

The bionic girl squealed and hugged her best friend, before pulling her brother into the hug.

The two geniuses chuckled at the violence of the hug.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, Maddie was in her room, staring at the closed boxes. Suddenly, someone knocked on her door.

- "It's open!" She yelled.

Donald walked in.

- "Hey, Maddison." He looked around. "You haven't unpacked, yet?"

- "I can't." The alien girl replied. "I feel that if I open the boxes and decorate this room, I'll start to feel like home when it isn't." She held back tears.

- "May I?" The father gestured to the spot on the bed, next to her.

- "Sure." The Matthews girl said.

- "It is your home." The scientist replied. "I know you are afraid of forgetting Claire, but she will always be with you, no matter where you are. This is your home, but so is Claire and that will never change."

- "I know, but this feels so weird to move into a new house, without her." Maddie explained as tears flowed on her cheeks.

- "I know, but we are here for you. All of us, and we will help you to get better, but none of us will ever forget Claire. She was a wonderful person, it's impossible to replace or forget her." Donald smiled with tears in his eyes. "This is your room, now. She would want you to feel like home, here."

- "She would." The alien girl sighed. "But this is hard." She sniffled.

- "Grief is always hard when you love someone that hard." The father replied. "Come here." He pulled the Matthews girl in a hug. "You'll be okay, sweetie." He said as she sobbed in his arms.

They stayed like this for a while, until Maddie pulled back.

- "Thank you, mister Davenport." She said as she wiped her tears.

- "You live here, now. You can stop calling me mister Davenport." The scientist smiled.

- "What should I call you?" The alien girl asked.

- "Donald or Donnie." Donald shrugged.

- "Alright." The Matthews girl chuckled.

The father smiled.

- "Now to make this house finally your home, we need to start unpacking your stuff." He got up. "Come on! Get up! We have work to do." Maddie chuckled and got up. "I will go get everyone, we'll go faster." He started to walk away.

- "Thank you, Donnie." The alien girl said.

- "You're welcome, Maddison." The scientist smiled as he turned around.

- "I told you to call me Maddie." The Matthews girl rolled her eyes, amused.

- "Well, I don't listen." Donald grinned and walked away.

- "Unbelievable." Maddie laughed.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A few minutes later, all the Davenports were in Maddie's new room. They were helping her unpack and decorate as they followed her orders.

- "Put this, here." The alien girl pointed to her left side of her room to Adam, who was pushing a desk. "Put it after the bathroom door, under the shelves."

- "Bossy." The tall guy whispered.

- "Hey! I can do it by myself if you're complaining." The Matthews girl replied.

- "No, sorry." The oldest sibling snickered.

- "Where do you want this?" Bree held a Marie from the Aristocrats' plush.

- "On the bed. My mom bought this when we went to Disney." The blue-eyed girl smiled, sadly.

- "That's cute." The bionic girl smiled as she put the plush on the bed.

- "Mads, what do you think?" Chase pointed to the painting attached above the door.

- "It's perfect." Maddie smiled. "Thank you, Chase."

The genius boy blushed as he looked at her face, in complete adoration.

- "You're welcome." He smiled.

Donald and Leo were installing the electronics. Tasha was putting one lamp on the side table on each side of the alien girl's new king-size bed. The two older bionic siblings were putting the books, on the shelves above the desk. Chase was installing a keyboard piano, on the left side of the door.

- "I didn't even know, you played the piano." He said.

- "Well, I don't like to show off." The Matthews girl replied as she opened the slide door of the reach-in closet.

- "I know." The genius boy chuckled.

Bree walked towards her best friend to help her put her clothes in the closet.

- "Wait, what's that?" She said as she took out of a box a long black dress with a slit on the entire leg and a big cleavage.

Dang. The green hazel-eyed boy's widened.

- "Mom bought a dress for me, but they made a mistake and sent her this one, instead." Maddie laughed.

- "It would suit you, so well." The bionic girl put the dress in front of her best friend.

- "No, it's too sexy." The alien girl chuckled and put the dress in the closet.

- "But, you're keeping it?" The Davenport girl smirked.

- "Yeah, because maybe one day, I'll wear it." The Matthews girl shrugged.

Please, do. Chase blushed, brightly. What am I saying?!

- "Okay, I see you." Bree chuckled.

- "Stop it." Maddie snickered.

The two girls put the rest of her clothes away, while the other focused on the electronics and the decorations.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

After a while, they were done and stood at the entrance of the room, looking at their hard work.

- "Tada!" Donald exclaimed.

Her room looks amazing and looks, exactly, like her. The genius boy thought.

The alien girl looked at her bedroom, in awe.

The walls were white, decorated by a few paintings. The king-size of the bed was in the middle of the room, with white sheets and the Marie plush, on top of the cover.

Photo frames were above her bed: two had the mother and daughter Matthews, one was recent and the other was taken years ago; one was a picture of the childhood best friends when they were little kids; one was of the five teenagers; one was of the first Christmas the Matthews and Dooleys spent together at Rose's house, back in 2005; and one was a picture of the two families at their first family Sunday, in January.

A black couch was on their left, facing the TV on the wall, the bathroom door was a little further and a desk, with a computer was in the back of the left side of the room. Shelves full of books were above it. On their right was the keyboard piano with partitions, in the back of the right side of the room, was the reach-in closet, with mirror on the doors, showing the bed and the desk behind it. Two large windows were on each side of the bed.

- "This is perfect. I love it!" Maddie exclaimed. "Thank you, guys." She hugged the six Davenports.

- "Of course, sweetie." Tasha smiled.

Later, the teenagers were watching TV while the parents were talking by the pool, waiting for dinner. The geniuses were sitting on the carpet and the three older siblings were on the couch, when the doorbell rang.

- "Oh, pizzas are here. I'll get it." Adam opened the door.

The delivery guy was another of his duplicates.

- "One large pepperoni, one large Hawaiian and one large mushrooms for Adam." He said.

- "Thank you very much, Adam." The real tall guy said, before closing the door. "That's so weird. That pizza guy looked just like me." He scoffed and sat down on the couch and put two of the boxes on the coffee table. "Uh-oh."

- "Oh boy." The short boy replied.

- "Yup." The bionic girl sighed.

- "You've got to be kidding me." The alien girl slapped her forehead.

- "I'll grab the zapper." Chase jumped above the couch and ran after the duplicate with Leo, Maddie, and Bree.

- "Hey! There's three pieces missing in the pepperoni! That's so like me." The oldest chuckled and ate one of the pizzas.

Later, after the four younger teenagers zapped the duplicate, they called the parents to eat. The parents and older bionic siblings sat on the couch, while the three youngest were on the floor.

They ate the pizzas in front of Dirty Dancing, Claire's favorite movie.

In the middle of the movie, Chase looked at Leo and tilted his head towards their best friend. The short boy nodded, he knew he was supposed to distract Maddie, so she wouldn't see the cake.

The genius boy got up and walked up to the fridge and took out the cake. He put nine candles on it and lit them.

He walked to the couch and put the cake on the coffee table, in front of his best friend.

- "No, you didn't!" The alien girl exclaimed and sat up straight.

- "I did." The green hazel-eyed boy chuckled.

Bree smiled and put pause to the movie.

- "Thank you." The Matthews girl turned to the boy she loved.

- "My pleasure, Mads." The youngest Davenport smiled.

- "This is really sweet." The blue-eyed girl said, with tears in her eyes.

Chase smiled, proudly as his cheeks, slightly, turned red.

- "Come on, little lady, blow your candles." Adam put his hands on her shoulders, from behind.

- "Alright." Maddie chuckled and blew her candles. The six Davenports applauded. "I can't believe I've been on Earth for nine years."

- "And eight years of friendship." Leo side-hugged her. "Time pasts fast."

- "It does." Tasha nodded, happily.

- "Come on, I want cake." Donald took the knife and started cutting the cake.

Everyone laughed. The father served everyone. The genius boy waited for his best friend's approval of the cake. The alien girl took a bite as he looked for her reaction, carefully.

- "Mmm." The Matthews girl hummed. "Okay, this is incredible! You managed to do my mom's recipe, perfectly! You are amazing!" She praised, before taking another bite.

They, all, continued to savor the cake, without noticing how much the youngest Davenport was blushing.

She thinks I'm amazing? He thought. I'm amazing? She thinks I'm amazing! He smiled widely, before he felt his best friend elbowing him. He, quickly, looked at her.

- "You can eat, too, you know?" She whispered in his ear.

- "I know." Chase snickered. "I was just lost of my thoughts."

- "You know that when I compliment you, I mean it? You don't need to look that surprised." Maddie murmured, amused.

- "I know." The genius boy blushed more. The alien girl smirked at his reaction. "This is not funny." He put both of his hands on his cheeks to hide the redness.

- "Maybe not for you, but for me, it is." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

She's so evil. The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes, amused as his hands remained on his red cheeks.

- "Plus, I think it's cute." Maddie whispered as she, slowly, pulled his hands off his face.

Chase looked in her eyes and saw that she, truly, was not making fun of him. She just liked seeing him blush.

She thinks it's cute. He blushed brightly.

- "You look like a tomato." The alien girl chuckled, softly, as she put both of her hands on his cheeks and moved his head from left to right to tease him.

The genius boy rolled his eyes as a smile appeared on his lips.

- "Youare so annoying." He murmured.

- "You love it." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

I do. The green hazel-eyed pressed his lips together to stop himself from smiling.

- "I do." He admitted.

- "See?" Maddie smirked and pulled her hands off his face.

- "I hate you." Chase scoffed, amused.

- "No, you don't." The alien girl took her plate and leaned her shoulder against his.

- "No, I don't." The bionic boy smiled, fondly.

She leaned her head on his shoulder and he rested his head on top of hers as they continued to watch the movie, while eating the cake.
