Five days after Maddie disappeared, Chase woke up in his bed, hugging her pillow.
He wanted to stay longer in her room, but due to his bionics, he could not.
He sighed as his first thought was that he would never see Maddie again.
Every time the bionic boy was thinking about her, all he wanted to do was cry.
But he knew, Maddie would not want that, so he only allowed himself to cry, late at night, before going to find her in his dreams.

Later, the mentors were in the training area with the students.
- "I'm here, I'm here!" Bob ran in with messy hair.
- "Bob, you're late again." Chase said.
- "Hey, it's not my fault I overslept. It's Bree's." The blonde boy defended.
How? The genius boy frowned.
- "What?! How is it my fault?" Bree asked.
- "You keep showin' up in my dreams." The Krane boy smiled, making the two mentors frown.
- "Weirdo." Chloe scoffed.
The adults walked in, giggling with excitement.
- "What's up with you? Someone asked you to prom?" Leo asked.
- "No. But thanks for opening up old wounds." Douglas said.
- "After countless hours of research and development, Douglas and I have finally perfected the most amazing bionic operating system upgrade ever!" Donald explained.
- "Ugh, I woke up for this?" Bob complained.
- "This is so boring." Alison frowned.
- "No, this is cool!" Chris exclaimed.
- "This upgrade is gonna be like going from motor scooters to jet engines. It'll make all of your abilities 10 times more powerful." The uncle replied.
- "An upgrade, huh? Well, I'm not sure, you can make my leg any more powerful, but go ahead; give it a go." The middle brother kicked in the air. "Ha!"
- "Sorry, Leo, the upgrade only works on people with bionic chips." The older man said.
- "What?" Leo frowned.
- "Be grateful you have a bionic arm and a bionic leg. That's all you're getting. Well, at least until your next horrific accident." Donald laughed.
The middle brother joined the laughter, before stopping to glare at him.
- "Dad, are you sure that this new upgrade is safe?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked. "I mean, some of our students haven't even mastered their bionics at the current level."
- "Yeah, Dad, I know you want to give us like, the coolest thing ever, but do you have to?" The Davenport girl mocked.
Seriously? Chase glared at her.
Jason and Spin laughed.
- "Don't worry. I built in a skill app that allows the students to master their amped-up abilities instantly." The father explained.
- "Bottom line, this upgrade is the best thing that Donnie and I have ever created together. I am so proud of you!" The younger man exclaimed.
- "No, I'm proud of you!" The older man yelled.
- "I'm proud of you!" Douglas shouted.
- "I'm proud of you!" Donald replied.
- "Hey, hey!" Bree yelled, making them stop. "You know what'll make us all proud? If you two go back to hating each other."
- "Stop, Bree." The blonde boy said, as he was sleeping while standing. Everyone turned to him. "You're embarrassing yourself. Oh, sweet girl, you don't have to beg. I'll allow you to kiss me."
Chase frowned, like everyone. He's such a weird kid.
- "Ew." Aaron frowned.
- "Dee would have made it sound dirty." Leo chuckled.
- "Definitely." The genius boy snickered.
- "Okay, I'll wake him up." Adam walked up to him.
- "Nope, I got this." The Davenport girl stopped him.
She super speeded out of the room and brought back a training dummy that she put it in front of Bob, and he started kissing it.
The green hazel-eyed boy frowned, in disgust.
- "Hm. They actually make a cute couple." The tall guy said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Douglas was upgrading the students as the mentors watched.
- "How's it going with the upgrade?" Donald walked in.
- "I'll let you be the judge." The uncle said. "Go ahead, Emily. Show him how powerful you are now."
Emily launched fire from her hands, burning the floor between Donald's legs, making him jump as he yelped.
- "I did it!" She, repeatedly, jumped in place as she clapped her hands, excitedly.
She, then, high-fived the younger man.
Mads would cry of laughter. Chase laughed. And she would be so proud of her.
- "Good job, Em." He said.
- "Thank you." The Krane girl smiled widely.
- "Wow, that is powerful. You just made an old man jump." Adam replied.
- "Well, that's the last of the students." Douglas said.
- "Oh, great. I'll do Adam, Bree, and Chase." The father walked up to the computer.
- "Yeah, you do that, and the guy who really needs the upgrade will just stand right over here, wishing he was actually part of a family." Leo replied.
- "Don't worry, Leo. I am working on something very special just for you." The older man explained.
- "Really?" The middle brother asked.
- "How would you like to be the proud owner of the world's first bionic nostril?" Donald questioned.
- "Bionic nostril? You can't be serious." Leo replied. "I'm considering it; we'll talk."
- "You're lucky, M isn't here, or she wouldn't stop mocking you." Bree chuckled.
- "God, that woman loves to mock us." The middle brother shook his head.
- "Okay, Adam, we'll do you first." The father said. Adam walked up to him and the machine beeped twice. "That's weird. The upgrade's not taking."
- "It's probably searching for his brain." The Davenport girl retorted.
- "Good one." The genius boy chuckled.
- "Bree, let's try you." The older man frowned. The two siblings switched places and the machine beeped. "Chase." The two changed places and the machine beeped again. "I don't get it. Why isn't the upgrade working on any of them?"
- "Probably because their bionics are first generation." The uncle snapped his fingers. "We built the upgrade for the students' infrastructure. It must not be compatible with their older systems."
- "There has to be some way you can adapt it." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
- "I could probably work something up, but given how old your bionic architecture is, I'll never be able to match the power the students have." The younger man replied.
- "Who's old now?" Donald mocked.
Chase glared at him.
- "So, let me get this straight. They all just became more powerful, and we're stuck like this forever?" Bree asked.
The genius boy nodded. Basically, yes.
- "Oh, my, this certainly is a shame." Leo sassed.
- "If all the students are more advanced than we are, then that means that Adam, Bree and I are...obsolete." The green hazel-eyed said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, in the common area, the hydraloop opened and Daniel walked out with a police officer.
- "Boy, here we go." Douglas walked up to them.
- "Douglas Davenport." The officer said.
- "Officer Nichols." The uncle, awkwardly, chuckled. "I haven't seen you since I scaled that wall."
- "This your son?" The Nichols man asked.
- "Maybe. Can you tell me what he did first, and then I'll let you know?" The younger man replied.
- "He's been running all over town, shooting fire from his eyes." The officer explained.
- "Yeah, I've never seen him before in my life." Douglas tried to turn around, but he received a glared from his older brother.
- "He should be going to juvenile detention, but that's the last place I want a punk with bionics, so I'm giving him another chance, as long as you promise to keep him under control." The Nichols man said.
- "Thank you, officer. I can promise you this won't happen again." The uncle replied.
- "Good. 'Cause I don't want to come back here again. You machine people freak me out." The office left via the hydraloop.
- "What were thinking letting him leave this academy with his bionics activated?" Donald asked.
- "He promised me he wouldn't use 'em unless it was completely necessary!" The younger man yelled.
- "Oh, come on, you can't give me bionics and expect me not to use 'em." The blonde boy replied.
- "He has a point. You know, when I first got my bionics..." Leo started.
- "Quiet, Leo!" Douglas yelled.
- "Alrighty, then." The middle brother walked away.
- "Do your adoptive parents know that you've been causing trouble with your bionics?" The uncle asked.
- "No. They don't get this whole bionic thing." The youngest frowned. "That's why I asked the officer to bring me here."
The father pulled his brother aside.
- "What are you going to do here, Douglas? This is your first chance to really step up in this kid's life and be a dad." He whispered.
- "You're right. Daniel..." The younger man pushed his brother in front of him. "Meet your new dad." He tried to run away.
- "Douglas." Donald said, through gritted teeth.
- "Fine." Douglas sighed loudly. "Look, since I can't trust you to be responsible with your bionics, I guess we'll just have to teach you how to be responsible. As long as your parents approve, I'm enrolling you in the Davenport Bionic Academy."
- "Really? Awesome!" Daniel exclaimed.
- "And, since Leo has been doing such a great job as the academy's newest mentor after he took Maddie's students, I think it's only fitting that he train our newest student." The uncle continued.
- "Thanks, Douglas." Leo smiled.
- "No problem, buddy. See, this way, if it doesn't work out, we can all blame you." The younger man replied, before walking away.
- "So, Maddie really disappeared?" The blonde boy asked.
- "How do you know?" The middle brother questioned.
- "The President made a speech." The youngest said.
- "Right." Leo sighed. "Then, yeah, it's true. She's gone."
Daniel looked at the floor, sadly.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the trio was sitting in the common area, sad.
- "We've dedicated our entire lives to being bionic heroes, and now, we don't even matter." Bree sat down.
- "Yeah. When you think about it, it's like we've been training our own replacements." Chase added.
- "Guys, what's with the doom and gloom? I'm actually okay with it. In fact, I've been checking out some retirement communities, and they're awesome. Look." Adam showed them a magazine. "This one has railings on the toilets."
The genius boy shook his head, in despair.
- "Retirement?" The bionic girl frowned. "No way. I'm a teenager. I haven't even gotten my driver's license yet!"
- "Mads told you to pass it." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
- "I know I should have listened." The Davenport girl retorted. "But not everyone is good at taking tests like you, two."
- "Oh, don't worry, you won't need it. Most of these old folks' homes don't even let you drive." The tall guy replied. "But get this. There's a van that'll take you to the market twice a week."
Chase rolled his eyes.
- "We're not retiring." He got up. "I'm gonna figure out a way to give us an upgrade. And not only that, I'm gonna make sure it's even better than everyone else's. After all, I am the smartest man in the world." He smirked.
- "Not anymore, you has-been." Bree said.
The genius boy crossed his arms and glared at her.
- "Whoa! This place come with people who will change your pants." The eldest continued. "Now that's easy living."
The green hazel-eyed boy shook his head as he sat down. Exhausting.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, Leo was with his students in the training area.
- "Okay, Daniel, since you have bionic ability replication, we'll start you off by touching one of these students, so that you can take on their ability." He explained.
- "Okay." Daniel said.
- "Wait a minute. This kid can just touch me, and he'll be able to do everything I can do?" Bob asked.
- "That's right." The older Davenport nodded.
- "Well." The Krane boy handed the newbie a piece of paper. "Here's my class schedule, my chores, have at it. I'm gonna go sleep until I'm 20." He started to walk away.
- "Bob!" The mentor yelled.
Bob took the paper back.
- "It was worth a shot." He sighed.
- "Okay, Daniel, go ahead." Leo said.
- "Don't be too impressed by my muscles." Jason smirked.
- "You are ridiculous." Chloe rolled her eyes.
The youngest Davenport touched Jason's arm.
- "Wow, now, that is muscles." He said. "Compare to Leo last time."
The Krane girl snickered, making him smirk. She blushed brightly.
- "Stop it! Now you have his bionic thunderclap." The eldest added.
- "Cool!" Daniel clapped his hands and everybody fell to the ground.
- "Not so hard!" The older Davenport yelled as he got up.
- "Sorry." The youngest Davenport frowned. "Here." He extended his hand to Chloe, who took it to get up.
- "T... T... T..." She tried, before sighing as she gave up.
Douglas walked in with the lights from the ceiling around his neck from the shock of Daniel's thunderclap.
- "Well, I can see this is going well." He sassed.
- "Daniel, you have to focus." The mentor said.
- "I am focusing. But how am I supposed to master my abilities when I get a new one every five minutes?" The youngest Davenport asked.
- "He does have a point." The uncle nodded.
- "Yeah. Too bad you can't upgrade him like everyone else. Then the skill app would bring him up to speed instantly." Leo said.
- "I can give him the upgrade, but I'm not gonna. Not until he shows me he can be responsible with his bionics." The Davenport man replied.
- "But, Dad..." Daniel started.
- "End of discussion. Now get back to your training." Douglas said, making his son walk further away.
- "I gotta be honest, Douglas. This whole 'you being a dad thing' is a little weird." The mentor frowned.
- "I know. It's freakin' me out." The uncle walked away. "Okay, Daniel. Touch Bob's arm."
- "But, be careful. I'm a fragile flower." Bob raised his arm.
Heather snickered.
The younger Davenport touched his arm.
- "Great. Now let's see how you do with super strength." Leo said.
- "Okay." The younger Krane boy grabbed Daniel's arm and threw him across the room.
Chloe ran towards him.
- "Bob!!" The mentor yelled.
- "I know. I can throw much further." Bob sighed. "Let me try again." He ran towards the youngest Davenport.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Chase was in the common area, typing on his laptop.
- "Got it. If I reconfigure the operator precedence, that should fix the upgrade." The laptop beeped. "You stupid hunk of junk!" He closed the laptop and got up. "You're useless!" He smashed the computer on the ground. "Useless! Useless!" He stomped on the pieces. The twins stared at him. "Do you mind? This is a private moment between a man and his computer."
- "More like a psycho and his computer." Alison corrected.
- "Watch it." The genius boy said.
- "Yes, sir. Sorry, sir." The older twin replied. "I'm leaving, sir."
The twins walked away, laughing.
The green hazel-eyed boy scoffed, amused.
- "Chase, have you seen my students?" Bree walked in
- "Nope." Chase replied.
- "Huh. We were supposed to start training an hour ago." The bionic girl said. "And today's lesson is very important. It's called 'You're not better than me'."
The genius boy nodded. Make senses.
Adam walked in, wearing a golf hat and a kilt while holding a golf club.
- "Hey, has anybody seen Bob?" He asked. The two younger siblings looked at him, in shock. "Leo said he was training a little while ago, but hasn't seen him since. Now that I'm retiring, I need to know if he can play golf with me on Thursdays."
How are we related? The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.
- "Wait, no. First, my students are missing, and now Bob? Something weird is going on. I'm gonna go look for everyone." The Davenport girl walked out of the room.
- "Speaking of weird, why are you wearing that?" Chase asked.
- "The hat? 'Cause I am a golfer." The tall guy replied.
- "The kilt." The genius boy sighed.
- "Oh. Because somebody changing my pants is easy living, This is what I call..." The eldest moved his hips in a circle. "Breezy living. Besides, if I wear that with Zack, it's huge easy access for him."
- "Ugh!" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned, in disgust, as he walked away.
- "Whoo!" Adam exclaimed.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Leo was shooting laser spheres at Daniel, who was using a force field after he touched Aaron.
- "Come on, Daniel. Make your force field bigger." The mentor said.
- "I'm trying." The youngest Davenport replied.
- "Concentrate." Leo added.
- "It's kind of hard to concentrate when you keep yelling 'Concentrate'. Ah!" Daniel fell to the floor. "You know, this would be a lot easier if you just gave me that upgrade."
- "No." The mentor helped him up. "You heard your dad. He wants you to master your bionics the old-fashioned way."
- "Okay. But if my training's not going well, doesn't that seem more about you as a mentor than me as a student?" The youngest Davenport boy asked.
- "Oh, please, Danny boy." Leo smirked. "I invented that trick. You play on a person's insecurities to get what you want. It's not going to work on me."
- "It's gonna." Chloe whispered.
- "You're right. I guess I'm just not ready to be a bionic student." Daniel said as the mentor walked away. "Kinda like you're not ready to be a bionic mentor."
Leo, suddenly, stopped and turned around slowly.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Leo was still in the training area with his students.
- "All right, Daniel, let's see how this upgrade works." Daniel opened a force field and blocked all of his laser spheres. "Well, that proves it. I am a great mentor."
- "Hey, if you thought that was cool, watch this..." The youngest Davenport raised his hands, and the other students geo-leaped away.
- "How did you do that?" The mentor asked.
- "I didn't." Daniel replied.
- "Well, then how did they all just disappear?" Leo frowned.
- "I don't know. But if anyone asks, I'm blaming it on you." The youngest Davenport said, before running away.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the three Davenport geniuses were talking in the common area when Bree walked in.
- "Dad, we have a problem." She said. "I can't find my students anywhere."
- "Well, are you sure they're not just avoiding your training session?" Donald asked. "I mean, I've sat through your class. We all think you could use a little pizzazz."
- "Like Maddie's." Douglas added. "She always knew how to keep her students focus, yet she made them laugh and ask every single one of their stupid questions."
God, I miss her so much, but the students must miss her too. Chase sighed.
- "Dad." Leo and Daniel ran in. "All the students in the training area just vanished."
- "What?" The father frowned.
- "Bob's gone, too." Adam ran in. "And I can't lose my Bob. We have an 8:00 a.m. tea time."
- "Alright, everybody calm down. There has to be a logical explanation." The genius boy replied, and the rest of the students, including Daniel, vanished from the common area. "Or not."
- "Daniel!" The uncle yelled.
- "Everybody's gone! What are we going to do?" The middle brother asked.
- "What do you mean, 'we'? I'm retired." The tall guy replied.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Bree super speeded back into the common area.
- "I double-checked the whole academy. All the students are gone." She frowned.
- "The new upgrade must have caused the glitch that made them geo-leap away." Donald said.
- "But Daniel disappeared, and we didn't give him the upgrade." Douglas replied.
- "Technically, that is correct. You did not give him the upgrade." Leo started to walked away.
- "Leo!" The uncle yelled.
- "That kid was impossible to train. And trust me, I happen to know a thing or two about slow learners." The middle brother pointed at himself.
- "I specifically told you not to give him that upgrade!" The younger man yelled.
- "Don't blame me! You built the software that made everyone disappear." Leo replied.
- "For the record, Donnie had just as much to do with this as I did. If not more. A lot more. In fact, this whole thing was his idea." Douglas accused.
- "It was not!" The father defended.
- "Was too!" The uncle replied.
- "No, it wasn't." The older man said.
The two started to argue at once.
- "Stop arguing!" Chase shouted, making them stop." We have to find them. Mads would kill you if she saw you arguing instead of searching for them."
- "Although with them gone, we are top dog again." Adam whispered.
The bionic girl punched his arm, making him scream.
- "That was from M." She smiled.
The tall guy snickered.
- "Do something!" Donald yelled.
- "Okay. I'll pull up their GPS locators, and find out where they are." The genius boy pressed buttons on the console.
- "Nothing's coming up. Their signals must have been deactivated." The father frowned.
- "Great. So now our brother and the entire student body are missing, and we have no idea where they are. They could be anywhere in the world!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, the students were pacing in a dark room.
- "Where are we?" Daniel asked.
- "In a dark room with metal walls." Bob replied.
- "I can see that. Bob." The Davenport boy said.
- "Well, then why'd you ask?" The Krane boy frowned. "Wait. Maybe this is another dream. If I squint, with your moppy hair, you could easily pass for Bree." He squinted and tried to touch his friend's hair.
Chloe pushed his hand away.
- "It's Daniel, not Bree. Stop it." She said.
- "Thanks." Daniel smiled. The Krane girl blushed brightly as she nodded. "It's okay, everyone, I'm gonna get you out of here."
- "Daniel, they don't even know you. Let me give them the pep talk." Bob put his hand on his friend's shoulder, before turning to his siblings. "Ignore what he said, guys. We're hosed."
- "Stop it, Bob!" Spin replied.
- "Maddie may not be with us anymore, but she taught us one thing, it's to never lose hope and to trust the Davenports." Chloe explained. "They will find us. We just need to remain strong and together until they do."
- "You heard her, brothers and sisters." Jason said.
- "Good job." The Davenport boy whispered in her ear.
- "T... T... Th..." The Krane girl started.
- "She's saying thank you." The older Krane boy wrapped his arm around his younger sister's shoulders.
Chloe nodded as she blushed brightly.
- "You're welcome." Daniel smiled. "We gotta do something. Bob, use your super strength to try and break us out."
- "Okay." Bob attempted to use his super strength to push the wall to break them out, but failed.
- "Stop it!" Spin yelled.
- "Well, I'm a man of my word. We're hosed." Bob said.
- "Ooh, I know. What if I replicate your strength, and we try it together?" The Davenport boy asked.
- "Aw, it's cute when you get all feisty." The Krane boy smiled.
Giselle, suddenly, appeared on the monitor in the room.
- "I'm afraid your bionics are useless here. These walls block your pathetic little chips." She explained.
- "Who are you?" Daniel asked.
- "I'm the woman who's going to take out all bionic superhumans and replace them with my android technology." The Vickers woman replied.
- "Her name is Giselle, she tried to kill Chase, last year." Chloe said.
- "Okay, Giselle. I never would've remembered that first part." Bob sighed.
- "How'd we get here?" The Davenport boy asked.
- "I was finally able to hack into your chips remotely and geo-leap you here." The filmmaker smirked. "Wait. Where are Adam, Bree and Chase?"
- "Probably still at the academy. See, there was this whole thing about how our bionics are newer than theirs, and they couldn't get the upgrade, and boy, were they upset." The Krane boy explained. "I mean, Chase was like..."
The Krane girl slapped him upside the head.
- "Stop talking!" Daniel yelled. "What are you going to do with us?"
- "I'm gonna destroy you. But first, I'm gonna use you as bait." Giselle turned off the monitor.
- "Bitch." Chloe scoffed.
- "Bob, Chloe, we have to get everyone out of here." The Davenport boy said.
- "How?" Bob asked.
- "Don't worry. I have an idea." Daniel replied.
- "Of course, you do." The Krane girl smiled shyly.
- "So, you actually say sentences to me." The Davenport boy smirked. Chloe blushed brightly and walked to her siblings. "And I made her walk away from me." He sighed.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the Davenports were still in the common area. Douglas hit the console, in frustration.
- "I have tried every way possible to remotely reactivate their GPS locators and nothing is working!" He yelled.
- "Well then, we'll have to find them the old-fashioned way. Chase, map out an urban search and rescue." Donald ordered. "We'll go mile by mile, state by state, if we have to."
- "Dad, what if we're too late?" Chase asked. "That glitch could've geo-leaped them anywhere. They could be at the bottom of the ocean or inside an active volcano. They may already be gone." He said, sadly.
- "We're not giving up. Maddison would not want that, and you know it better than anyone." The father replied.
Daniel appeared on the monitor.
- "Hello?" He asked.
- "Daniel, where are you?" Leo questioned.
- "Listen, I don't have much time. Some lady hacked into our chips and geo-leaped us here. She had us trapped, but I busted out." The youngest Davenport explained.
The genius boy locked his jaw as goose bumps appeared on his skin.
- "Place looks familiar." Adam frowned.
- "That's Giselle's lab." Bree said.
Giselle walked in behind Daniel on the monitor with an electric whip.
- "Hey, what do you think you're doing? How did you escape?" She aimed her whip at Daniel, who ducked as she cracked the screen.
- "Dad, hurry!" The youngest Davenport ran away.
- "Say goodbye to your son, Douglas." The Vickers woman hung up.
- "You should have let Maddie kill her." The tall guy told his brother.
- "Everybody suit up." Donald ordered.
Everyone ran away.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the Davenports were wearing their suits in one of the hallways in Giselle's lab.
- "Adam, Bree, Chase, and I will go this way." Donald ordered. "Douglas, you and Leo take the other side."
- "Guys!" Daniel walked in.
- "Daniel, you're okay!" Douglas hugged him.
- "Where are the students?" Chase asked.
- "Hiding in the other room. Come on!" The youngest pointed at the room behind them and ran in it.
They followed him into Giselle's lab.
- "Ooh! Wow! Man. This place is fancy." The father said.
- "Don't worry. I have the name of her decorator." The uncle sassed.
- "Really?" The older man asked.
- "No!" The younger man replied.
- "Where are they?" The genius boy asked his younger brother.
The surrounding doors locked.
- "The doors are locking." Bree said.
- "What's going on?" Leo frowned.
Giselle, dramatically, entered through a wall of fog.
- "Well, well, well. So nice to see the family all together." She mocked. "Oh wait, you are missing your little girlfriend, Chase. How sad."
The green hazel-eyed boy locked his jaw.
- "Giselle, you got five seconds to tell me where the rest of the kids are before I blast you." Douglas pointed his gun at her.
- "One thousand one. One thousand two. One thousand three, one thousand four." The Vickers woman walked towards a console, before gasping as she turned on the monitor. "There they are."
The monitor showed all the students in the dark room.
- "Wait, how is Daniel in there and out here?" Adam asked. "This is just like the last time we were here, with two Chases. This lady and her magic tricks. She gets me every time!"
Chase glared at her.
- "It's a trap. That's not my son." The uncle pointed at his gun at the fake Daniel.
- "That's where you're wrong. I am your son, just not the one you think." He replied.
Giselle pressed a button on her watch and the fake Daniel transformed into Marcus, everyone's eyes widened.
What the heck? The genius boy frowned.
- "Marcus?" The younger man asked.
- "Good to see ya...Dad." The android raised his eyebrow.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, in the dark room, Daniel was fiddling with the monitor.
- "How's your plan coming along?" Bob asked. "I'm trying to calm them down with small talk, but every time I ask where they grew up, they all say 'I don't know, I don't remember'."
- "Where'd you grow up, Bob?" The Davenport boy asked.
- "I don't know. I don't remember." The Krane boy scoffed.
- "There. When I touch these two wires together, the force of the charge should be enough to blast a hole in the wall." Daniel explained.
- "Sounds good. You sure it'll work?" Bob asked.
- "Nope." The Davenport boy replied.
- "I like those odds." The Krane boy said.
Daniel crossed the wires and was, immediately, blasted back onto the floor.
- "Daniel! Are you okay?" Bob ran to him. "Talk to me. What do you see?"
- "I see...an open field. Blue skies." The Davenport boy replied.
The Krane boy gasped loudly.
- "He's outside. He escaped. He's a genius." He said.
- "And you clearly are not." Spin replied.
