Supergirl was still struggling to breathe as the stranger squeezed her neck, before throwing her across the room.

He unhooked himself from the machines and he ran out.

Agents came from every side.

- "Hold it right there!" One yelled.

The alien super speeded towards an agent and pushed him, before grabbing another one and pushing him to the ground.

He looked at his hands, half amazed, half afraid.

- "Don't move!" Another agent shouted and ran towards him.

The stranger grabbed the baton and snapped it in half, before throwing the agent over the gateway.

He jumped over it.

- "Freeze!" Alex yelled as she aimed at him with a large gun.

The alien ran and super jumped over the balcony onto the street.

Later, GreatGirl arrived after she received an alert message.

- "What happened?" She asked.

- "Your brother woke up, attacked everyone, before running away." Alex explained.

- "I just went to watch a movie with Mia." The Matthews girl frowned. "Seriously."

- "I sure picked the wrong time to get rid of all my Kryptonite." J'onn said. "You all right?"

- "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, just a little shaken." Supergirl replied. "Where is he?"

- "He disappeared into the city." The older Danvers sighed.

- "Which is just what I don't need." The J'onzz man complained. "A rogue Kryptonian or Daxamite on the loose just as the President is due for a visit."

- "The President?" The Matthews girl raised her eyebrows.

- "Wait, the President is coming here?" The younger Danvers asked, in disbelief.

- "Yeah, she wants to tour the D.E.O. while she's in National City to sign the Alien Amnesty Act." The right hand replied.

- "It's amazing, an executive order allowing aliens on Earth to come out of the shadows and live as full citizens." The Kryptonian said. "She's making history."

- "Not in my book, I think she's making a big mistake." The director replied.

- "Now, how can you of all people say that?" Supergirl asked.

- "Because it's been my hard experience that humans and aliens don't mix." J'onn said.

- "What about Maddie, you and me?" The younger Danvers questioned.

- "What about us? We can look like them, we blend in, a lot of aliens can't." The J'onzz man explained. "And people in this world don't have much tolerance for others who look different. I say that as an alien and as someone who's worn the face of a black man for 15 years."

- "J'onn's right." Alex said. "I can count the number of good aliens I know on one hand, with one finger to spare."

- "Without talking about the fact that now, all the aliens who be listed, and it would a lot easier for anti-aliens to find them and kill them." The quadbrid added.

- "Well, I'm just glad the President doesn't see things the way you three do." The Kryptonian replied.

- "Well, you be sure to tell her that when you meet her." The older Danvers said.

- "What?" Supergirl looked at her sister with wide eyes.

- "She expects National City's highest-profile aliens to greet her on the tarmac." The right hand gestured to the two heroes.

- "Cool." GreatGirl smiled.

- "I'm meeting the President?" The younger Danvers, nervously, asked.

- "Unless you're too nervous to do so." Alex replied.

- "Nervous? No." The Kryptonian, nervously, laughed. "Me? I'm not... No, I'm not nervous. No, it's... Nervous?" She continued and the three others laughed. "Yeah, yes, yeah, I'm really nervous. I'm nervous! It's the President!"

- "You two will be representing this entire organization." The director said. "I expect you'll be professional."

- "Yes." Supergirl nodded.

- "I'll be fine. I admired this President, but I met the one of my old universe, too." The Matthews girl shrugged.

- "And for the record, she's the one who's lucky to meet you two." J'onn said.

- "Thanks." The younger Danvers smiled.

- "Thank you." The quadbrid replied.

- "Should I get a blow out?" The Kryptonian asked.

- "Oh, dear God." The J'onzz man sighed as he walked away, in despair.

GreatGirl laughed.

- "What?" Supergirl frowned.

The Matthews girl looked towards the exit. I hope you're okay, dumbass.

Thursday, 26th May 2016

The next day, the two heroes were waiting for the President with several fans on the tarmac.

- "It's pretty awesome, right?" Supergirl asked a kid.

- "Do you know her?" She replied.

- "No, no, not yet, but I'm pretty sure we'll be cool. You know? Right?" The Danvers woman crossed her arms, nervously.

- "Are you trying to convince her or you?" GreatGirl whispered, holding back her laughter.

- "It's not funny. I'm super nervous." The Kryptonian said.

- "I know, but relax." The Matthews girl replied.

Everyone applauded as the President, Olivia Marsdin, walked out of the plane and started to walk down the stairs.

She was 5'9, had dark brown hair and blue eyes.

She's an alien. The quadbrid smiled. The President is an alien. Okay, I love her even more.

The special agent in front of her was shot at by a flame vision.

- "Oh, my God." A woman in the crowd said.

- "Go!" GreatGirl yelled, and the crowd ran away.

The two heroes flew away as the mysterious person continued to shoot at the special agents, killing them.

The two heroes avoided balls of fire threw towards them as another special agent was killed, leaving the President vulnerable.

- "Watch out!" Supergirl yelled.

The two heroes opened their capes in front of the President as she ducked when the fire hit the capes.

The two heroes looked around, but the mysterious attacker was gone.

Later, the D.E.O. agents came to the scene.

- "So, where's the President now?" Alex asked.

- "They're taking her back to the D.E.O." GreatGirl replied.

- "She was... She was so nice. And grateful, and she called me Supergirl." Supergirl said.

- "That is your name." The older Danvers answered.

- "Don't bother; I've been trying for ten minutes to calm her down." The Matthews girl whispered.

- "Yeah, I know that but... When she says it, it just sounds better. 'Supergirl'." The younger Danvers smiled. "How did anyone even vote for that other guy?"

- "When you're done fawning over your new best friend... The burn pattern is consistent with a heat-vision signature." The right hand explained.

- "Our escaped Kryptonian's been awake ten hours and the first thing he does is try and kill the President?" Supergirl frowned.

The quadbrid sighed. Did he really do that? If he did, that means he really is a Kryptonian since Daxamites don't have heat-vision.

- "Winn's working on tracking him." Alex said. "In the meantime, let's gather whatever evidence we can find." She saw two cops taking something, and she walked towards them.

Detective Maggie Sawyer. GreatGirl thought.

She was 5'3, had black hair and dark brown eyes.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the trio was back at the D.E.O.

- Welcome to the D.E.O., Madam President." J'onn said.

- "I'm surprised, now that your true identity is known to the world, you don't live openly as your Martian self." The President replied.

- "I find looking human makes people feel more comfortable." The J'onzz man explained.

- "Hopefully, my Alien Amnesty Act will change that." The head of the country answered. "For you and everyone else from beyond the stars that have made Earth their home. I know the D.E.O.'s mission is to hunt renegade aliens, but that mission is going to have to adapt. You disagree, Director?"

- "I do, Madam President." The director said. "There are aliens out there, killers who wouldn't understand the concept of the very rights you're offering them. Evil creatures who could take advantage of your good will."

- "I imagine the very same thing was once said about you, J'onn J'onzz but someone gave you the benefit of the doubt." The President replied.

GreatGirl smiled. In your face.

- "Isn't it time we paid that forward?" The head of the country asked. "I can think of no better time than the present to extend our hand in friendship."

- "Even if that hand might get bitten off?" J'onn questioned.

- "One has to have hope." The President said.

- "What if it's false hope?" The J'onzz man replied.

- "It's hope, J'onn." The head of the country smiled. "How can it be false?" She walked towards her special agents.

- "Okay, I love her." The Matthews girl said.

- "Did you hear that? That was, like, a legit quote." Supergirl smiled widely. "People are going to quote her. Okay, well, I have to go. I'm conducting my very first interview as a reporter. Just call me if she says anything else cool, okay?" She started to walk away.

- "Good luck." The quadbrid replied.

- "Thanks." The younger Danvers flew away.

- "What do you think?" Alex asked.

- "I think hope isn't going to catch our would-be assassin." The director replied.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, that night, Winn was searching for the missing alien.

- "Hey, I... I found the missing Kryptonian."

- "Where?" Alex and GreatGirl, simultaneously, asked.

- "Ah, looks like an abandoned warehouse in the Arts District." The Schott man replied. The two women walked away. "Hah, I mean it took some doing, but I got the tracker on his D.E.O.-issued medical bracelet back online, and I triangulated the location and... You are already gone."

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the two women arrived at the warehouse with a squad of the D.E.O.

- "Hands where I can see them." Alex ordered.

Maggie got up and raised her hands.

- "Fancy firepower for a Fed." She said.

- "You've got to be kidding me." GreatGirl sighed.

- "Clear the warehouse." The Danvers woman replied.

- "Don't bother, your boy's gone." The Sawyer woman said.

- "How did you find this place?" The right hand asked.

- "I'm a detective, Agent Danvers. I detect." The detective explained. "I've heard stories of black ops anti-alien strike team. Sounded like the boogeyman, but here you stand. You're D.E.O., aren't you?"

The Matthews girl grabbed the medical bracelet of her brother and handed it to Alex.

- "Winn, we missed him, he could be anywhere." She said in her earpiece.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the old trio from CatCo was working at the D.E.O.

- "And I just finished cataloging the seven lost tomes of the Delvarian home world. So, yay me." Winn said. "How's your article coming?"

- "Awful." Kara replied.

- "That bad?" Maddie asked.

Since the mole was out and the agents of the D.E.O. could be trusted, the two heroes did not need to hide their identities anymore, they could just come in their suits or their normal clothes.

- "Oh." The Schott man frowned. "There's no 'k' in diabolical."

- "I don't know how to stay emotionally neutral when I'm writing something I'm passionate about." The Danvers explained. "I have passion, guys. A lot of it."

- "Yeah, I know. Passion is great for being a superhero." The tech guy said.

- "But not for being a reporter?" The Kryptonian questioned.

- "No, people need to make their own minds, if you say your point of view and argument it, they will think like you and not by themselves." The Matthews girl replied.

- "Exactly." Winn clicked his tongue.

Alex walked in.

- "Winn, can you scan the city for any pan orbital transmissions heading out into space?" She asked.

- "Yeah, I can." The Schott man scoffed. "Whoa, whoa. Check it. Deep space signal. Loud and clear."

- "Where is it broadcasting from?" Kara questioned.

- "The Mount Pride Observatory." The tech guy said.

- "And that's where we'll find our alien John Doe." The older Danvers added.

- "You found him?" The quadbrid asked, trying to hide her excitement.

- "Wait, how'd you figure that out?" Winn asked.

- "It's a long story." The right hand replied.

Maddie frowned.

- "He must be trying to contact Krypton. He doesn't know it was destroyed." The younger Danvers said.

- "Actually, no." The Schott man replied. "He did not dial Krypton."

- "Where is the signal going to then?" The Kryptonian asked.

- "Well, according to these very cool D.E.O. star charts, he beamed a signal directly at a planet called... Uh, Dac..." The tech guy started.

- "Daxam." The Matthews girl continued.

- "Yeah, Daxam." Winn nodded.

- "So, we have our answer. He's a Daxamite." The quadbrid said.

- "I'm going. Maddie, you stay here. I'm not making you fight your brother, like you didn't make me fight my sister." Kara started to walk away.

- "Don't go to hard." Maddie replied.

The younger Danvers nodded and changed into Supergirl before flying away.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of minutes later, the Daxamite was with a scientist at the observatory.

- "Any response?" He asked.

He was a 6' white woman with blue eyes and dark brown hair.

- "No." The scientist replied.

Supergirl flew in and wrapped her arm around his neck from behind.

The man grabbed her arm and lowered himself to throw her on the floor.

He kicked her stomach, sending her across the room.

- "I don't wanna hurt anyone." He said.

- "Sure you don't." The Danvers woman got up. The Daxamite tried to punch her several times, but she dodged and punched him in the stomach, sending him backwards. "Stay down, Daxamite.

- "You know where I'm from?" The man asked as he got up.

- "Yup." The Kryptonian replied. "And you should have stayed there."

The Daxamite tried to punch her, but she blocked him, before, repeatedly, punching him and throwing him fly across the room.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the whole team was watching the Daxamite, sitting in the cell, via the monitor.

- "So, our mystery alien is from Daxam." J'onn said.

- "I don't know much about Daxam. Besides that Maddie is half Daxamite." Winn replied.

- "Okay, rewind from where I met them." Maddie explained. "J'onn said: 'It's a sister world to Krypton. Both capable of sustaining life, both orbiting the same sun.' Then Alex said: 'You've never mentioned it before.' Kara replied: "Do the Hatfield's mention the McCoy's?' Alex: 'I take it your planets didn't get along.' Kara again: "Hundreds of years ago, Krypton and Daxam fought a bloody war to a stalemate. Thousands of lives were lost on both sides because of a pointless war Daxam started. Krypton was a democracy. A world of explorers, philosophers, scientists, and Daxam, was a monarchy. With kings and queens who ruled a population of hoodlums. We had a saying on Krypton for Daxamites, 'May tex kolar Daxam'.' Then, Alex asked what that meant and Kara..."

- "And I said that it was nothing I can repeat in English." Supergirl continued. "Good memory, Maddie."

The Matthews girl smiled.

- "So, if Daxamites are as bad as you apparently said they were in January, then it's no wonder this guy is trying to kill the President, right?" The Schott man asked.

- "Still doesn't explain why." The J'onzz man said.

- "I can't go in there." The quadbrid shook her head. "I wanted him to wake up, but now that he did, how do you tell him that I'm his sister? I can't."

- "I'll ask him." Alex said.

- "No. No, I'll do it." The younger Danvers started to walk away, angrily.

- "I'm lucky, I didn't grow up on Daxam, or she would've treated me the same." Maddie sighed.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of seconds later, Supergirl entered the room where the Daxamite's cell was.

- "Better get used to that view." She started. "You're going to be in that cell for a long time. Well, that was quite the first impression you've made on Earth, Daxamite. Do you always introduce yourself by trying to kill heads of state? How did you find yourself in a Kryptonian pod?" He looked at her without answering. "Do you have anything to say for yourself? Anything?" She started to walk away, annoyed.

- "Do they have Zakkarian ale on this planet?" The man asked. "'Cause I could really use some Zakkarian ale. It's been my experience that most of life's problems go away if you bring Zakkarian ale to the table."

That's the first thing he says? Maddie frowned in the main room.

- "You're not getting anything." The Danvers woman replied.

- "Is it because I didn't say 'Please'?" The Daxamite mocked. "'Cause you know on some worlds 'please' isn't even, you know, that big of a thing. Is this not one of those worlds?"

- "Not surprised you would make a joke of this. Your entire race thinks of nothing but themselves." The Kryptonian said.

- "You would know all about my race, wouldn't you, Kryptonian? Judging by that self-righteous glyph on your chest." The man replied. "Hey, so shouldn't you already have all the answers?"

- "What's that supposed to mean?" Supergirl asked.

- "Well, I know how your people feel about us. High-and-mighty, 'enlightened' Krypton. Looking down on us lowly peasants ever since you attacked us with no provocation." The Daxamite crossed his arms as he walked closer to the glass window of his cell.

Yeah, I was definitely born from a one-night stand. The Matthews girl looked at the screen with wide eyes.

- "We attacked you? Is that..." The Danvers woman started, angrily, before taking a deep breath. "Why did you send a broadcast to Daxam?"

- "It was a distress call." The man replied.

- "Why were you sending a distress call?" The Kryptonian asked.

- "Because I'm in distress!" The Daxamite chuckled. "Okay, I'm not here by choice. I'm just letting my people know I'm alive."

- "He's gonna fall from high when he'll discover the truth." The quadbrid frowned.

- "Yeah, okay. So if you're marooned on this planet, why are you trying to kill the President?" Supergirl questioned.

- "Sorry, what's a... What's a pres... Presibent?" The man frowned.

- "If you thought I punched hard before, wait till you see me when I'm angry." The Danvers woman threatened.

- "I didn't come here to kill anyone!" The Daxamite exclaimed.

- "Good, because you never will." The Kryptonian said, firmly.

She didn't even give him a chance. Maddie frowned.

- "Right, and you've already made up your mind about me. So, it seems kind of pointless to keep talking to you." The man sat down in his cell. "Bye-bye, your highness." He mocked, before laying down. "Oh, that's better. Oh, hey, I could really use that Zakkarian ale, though. Just give a think on it."

Supergirl walked out.

- "You didn't tell him what happened to Daxam?" J'onn asked.

- "No, I didn't." The Danvers woman replied as she walked away.

- "Still don't want to go in?" The J'onzz man questioned.

- "Not now." The Matthews girl shook her head.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, Maddie had texted her best friend to ask if she could come in and since she had said 'yes', the Matthews girl was now knocking at her door.

- "What's up?" Mia opened the door.

- "My brother woke up and escaped, but we found him. And now, everyone thinks that he's the one who attacked the president." The quadbrid explained.

- "Didn't you read his mind?" The Krillin woman asked, but Maddie did not answer. "You didn't go see him? Maddie..." She frowned.

- "I know. But I can't just go like: 'hey, I know we never met before, but I'm your sister. Nice to meet you'." The Matthews girl sassed.

- "Well, not like that." The Agotarian chuckled. "A little more subtle would be better."

- "I don't know how to do this." The quadbrid sighed. "Leo and Adam are like my brothers and I have so many memories with them, but he's actually my brother and I don't have any. I don't even know his name."

- "You're the only one, who can change that, Maddie." Mia said. "Give him a chance to know his sister."

- "I will." Maddie nodded. "I called the landlord and cancelled our appointment..."

- "To stay with your brother at the D.E.O.?" The Krillin woman smiled. "That's cute."

- "When the D.E.O. realizes their mistake about him, I'll tell him." The Matthews girl sighed. "I just need to think about what I'm gonna say."

- "Let's practice." The Agotarian sat on her couch.

- "What?" The quadbrid snickered.

- "I'm serious, pretend I'm your brother." Mia said.

Maddie shook her head, amused and sat next to her best friend.

Friday, 27th May 2016

The next day, the trio of women was assuring the protection of the President, who was about to start her speech.

- "Does it all look okay?" Alex asked the flying superheroes.

- "All clear. With our wayward Daxamite locked up, I don't think we'll have any problems." Supergirl said.

GreatGirl rolled her eyes.

- "You don't even give him the benefice of the doubt." She flew across from her.

- "The President must be relieved you got the alien trying to kill her." Maggie said.

- "Thank you again for all your help." The older Danvers replied.

- "Where is he now? Some black site he'll never return from?" The Sawyer woman asked.

- "Someplace where he'll never be able to hurt anyone ever again." The right hand said.

Everyone cheered and applauded as the President walked on the platform.

- "My fellow Americans." She started. "Over a century ago, this nation erected a monument in New York Harbor. A Statue of Liberty. That Statue looked down upon Ellis Island, where thousands of immigrants came to seek refuge, from a home country that didn't want them, that wouldn't have them. But America took them in. That is our story. The American people today, stand as one with history." Everyone applauded. "No longer will our alien visitors be strangers, committed to the shadows, forced to the fringes of a hostile and unwelcoming world. They will be granted the full rights and privileges of American citizens. The Statue of Liberty will stand for aliens, too. And now, if uh..." She laughed. "If someone would just hand me a pen." The crowd laughed. "Thank you very much." A man handed her a pen. "Here we go. History." She signed the paper, when balls of fire arrived towards her.

Everyone screamed and ran away.

The two heroes flew towards the platform to extinguish the fire.

- "Madam President." The younger Danvers helped her up.

- "Thank you." The head of the country said.

- "You're welcome." The Kryptonian giggled.

- "You're welcome." The Matthews girl smiled.

A 5'5 blue-eyed redhead with hands of fire shot at Supergirl with her heat vision.

The quadbrid put herself in front of the President and was shot at by the heat vision.

Alex shot at the attacker, who threw a ball of fire on her.

Luckily, the older Danvers fell into the fountain, extinguishing the fire on her.

- "Put 'em out, or I'll put you out." The detective pointed her gun at the attacker's head.

She used her heat vision on the gun, making it fall from Maggie's hand.

She let out fire of her hand and turned in a circle.

The two heroes got up and super speeded in a circle to extinguish the fire on their suits.

- "Are you okay?" The trio, simultaneously, asked.

- "Where's Maggie?" The right hand asked.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the D.E.O. had joined the trio.

- "So the attacker was not our Daxamite prisoner after all." J'onn said.

- "Called it." GreatGirl mumbled.

- "No." Supergirl replied. "No, this is all my fault. And now Detective Sawyer is missing."

- "You can't blame yourself. We all missed it." Alex said.

- But if I hadn't been so blinded by how I felt about Daxam, we could have been out there searching for the real assassin." The younger Danvers explained. "But I let my guard down, and the President almost died as a result. The President! That's, like, misdemeanor treason!"

- "You're exaggerating, Kara." The Matthews girl put a hand on her shoulder.

- "Sorry for treating your brother like that." The Kryptonian replied.

- "It's not to me, you should apologize." The quadbrid said.

- "Courtesy of the White House Press Corps in attendance at the signing." The J'onzz man showed a picture of the attacker on his tablet. "Do we have any I.D. on the attacker?"

- "No. But I... I recognized her." The older Danvers replied.

- "From where?" Supergirl asked.

- "The bar." GreatGirl said.

The right hand nodded.

- "What bar?" The director frowned.

Alex started to explain about a secret bar for aliens with a password.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the two heroes were flying above the foundry where the attacker was holding Maggie hostage.

- "It's about voluntarily revealing ourselves like fools." The alien replied. "So you know where we live. Who we are, what we can do. 'Amnesty' is just another mask to disguise registration."

The two heroes landed, further behind her.

She's not wrong. GreatGirl thought. Okay, so her name Scorcher and she's an Infernian.

- "That's a pretty cynical opinion." Supergirl said.

- "Well, if it isn't the President's little pet alien." The redhead mocked. "You're a traitor to your people."

- "It's not us against them." The younger Danvers shook her head.

- "Not yet." Scorcher replied. "Maybe. But I've been to half a dozen planets just like this one." She said with her back turned to her hostage as Alex sneaked in to untie her friend. "You want to know what they all have in common? The locals lock away anything that they think is different. Out of prejudice, out of fear. There's a reason that you hide your identity, Supergirl and yours, GreatGirl. And it's because the humans can't be trusted."

- "No. It's because criminals like you can't be trusted." The Matthews girl said.

The Kryptonian used her heat vision on the Infernian, who absorbed it.

- Let's see how super and great you really are." She threw a ball of fire on the humans, knocking them out.

She turned her hands in balls of hire and tried to punch the heroes with them.

Supergirl punched and the quadbrid kicked her in the stomach.

The younger Danvers turned her around and wrapped her arms around her shoulders.

The redhead turned up her body temperature as the Kryptonian groaned, in pain.

- "What's wrong? Can't take the heat? Huh?" She mocked.

Supergirl pushed her against GreatGirl, who threw her on the floor, without feeling the heat of her hands.

The younger Danvers used her freeze breath to freeze.

- "It won't hold long." The Matthews girl said. "Trust me."

The two humans got up and ran away as Scorcher melted the ice on her.

She used her heat vision on both of the heroes, sending them several feet behind.

- "Told you." The quadbrid groaned, on the floor.

- "Where are you, humans?" The Infernian made a flame surround her entire body.

- "Get the gun and get out." Alex said to her friend, before getting up.

- "Wait, don't." The Sawyer woman replied.

- "Right here, Red Hot!" The older Danvers showed herself.

The redhead shot balls of fire that the right hand dodged.

The two aliens flew around her super fast to extinguish the fire on her body as she fell on her hands and knees.

Scorcher tried to grab the gun on the ground, but the detective blocked her hand, before knocking her out with a pipe.

- "Oh." The Kryptonian said.

- "You guys are fun." Maggie smiled.

- "I like you." GreatGirl chuckled.

Saturday, 28th May 2016

The next day, Supergirl went to the Daxamite's cell.

- "So, does everyone in this world have superpowers or is it just us?" He asked as she opened his cell. He got up when she walked in. "Uh, what's going on? Thought I was a dangerous killer."

- "I don't know you at all." The Danvers woman said. "And it was a mistake of me to misjudge you just because you're from Daxam. You didn't try to kill the President. I apologize for assuming you did. My name is Kara Zor-El, I'm from Krypton. And like you, I'm a refugee on this planet. Earth." She extended her hand.

The man shook her hand.

- "My name is Mon-El." He replied. "So, uh, what now? Can you help me get in touch with my home world?"

- "Uh. You might want to sit down. There's something I have to tell you." The Kryptonian frowned. They both sat down. "When Krypton was destroyed, the debris showered onto Daxam."

- "Yeah, I know, that's... That's why I got out of there in a hurry." Mon-El chuckled.

- "Some of the larger masses struck Daxam's moon, disrupting the gravitational force of the planet." Supergirl said.

- "Wait, what are you... What are you saying?" The Daxamite frowned.

- "Uh." The Danvers woman sighed. "Daxam is still there, but it was ravaged by solar storms. It's a wasteland now. Your home... My home... They're, uh... They're gone."

The man looked down, sadly.

Maddie walked into the room.

- "Um, Kara..." She started.

- "Yep." The Kryptonian nodded and got up. "See you later, Mon-El." She walked away.

- "Who are you?" Mon-El asked.

- "Um... My name is Maddie." The Matthews girl sat next to him.

- "Mon-El." The latter replied.

The quadbrid looked at his eyes and read his mind.

Monday, 27th February 1978

Prince Mon-El was talking with his father, the king Lar-Gand, when his mother, the queen Rhea, walked in.

- "Dearest, I have an announcement." She started. "I am with child." She smiled.

The son smiled widely.

- "Are you sure, my dear?" The king asked.

- "Yes." The queen nodded.

Lar-Gand smiled and kissed her, before hugging her.

- "That is great, mother." The prince joined the hug.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Monday, 12th June 1978

A few months later, the parents were coming back with an appointment with the royal physician.

- "Mon-El, dear." Rhea started. "You are having a sister."

Mon-El smiled widely.

- "This is amazing!" He exclaimed. "I am going to teach her everything I know." He gasped. "We are gonna have the royal siblings' birthmark."

On Daxam, all siblings descending from the heir to the throne had a similar birthmark at the same spot, meaning that when his sister will be born, since they were both their mother's child, a birthmark will magically appear on both of their skins.

- "Yes, son." Lar-Gand smiled.

- "Oh, she needs a name!" The prince replied and walked away.

- "Where are you going, Mon-El?" The queen asked.

- "To the library to find the most perfect and meaningful name for my baby sister!" The son shouted, excitedly, as he walked away.

Later, that day, Mon-El ran towards his parents.

- "Slow down, son." Lar-Gand said.

- "I found it!" The prince exclaimed.

- "Found what, my dear?" Rhea frowned as she caressed her belly.

- "Her name. I found her name." The son replied.

The parents smiled.

- "What do you have in mind?" The king questioned.

- "Roxana." Mon-El smiled. "It means 'little star'. And I think this is perfect to represent what she is for me. For us."

- "Princess Roxana of Daxam." The father said.

- "It sounds good." The mother added. "This shall be her name."

The parents smiled as their son jumped, happily.

Sunday, 8th October 1978

Mon-El was outside his parents' bedroom. His mother had finished giving birth, and he was waiting to be allowed inside.

- "Your royal-highness, you can go in." The royal physician said as he walked away.

The Prince smiled and walked inside the room.

- "Hello, Roxana." Rhea smiled at the baby in her arms. "May I present you, your older brother." She handed the baby to her son. "Careful with her head."

Mon-El looked at his sister in his arms.

- "Hey, sister." He smiled widely. "I'm gonna take care very good care of you."

Lar-Gand sniffled and wiped his tears. He walked to his son and caressed his daughter's cheek.

- "My children." He put his hand on his son's cheek as well.

- "Are you crying, father?" The prince asked, amused.

- "Of course, I am." The king nodded. "My little princess is finally here. And I cried when you were born as well."

The son chuckled.

- "How are you feeling, mother?" He questioned.

- "I am exhausted, but glad." The queen yawned, behind her hand.

- "I'll leave you rest, then." Mon-El said and went to put down the baby.

- "You can keep her if you want." The mother replied.

- "Really?" The prince, excitedly, asked.

- "Yes." Rhea nodded.

The son started to walk away with his sister, when their father spoke up.

- "The royal physician checked. She has a small star on her right shoulder blade." He said.

- "Like her name." Mon-El smiled.

The parents smiled and nodded.

The prince walked away.

- "Roxana is perfect for you with this birthmark." He whispered to the sleeping baby.

Monday, 25th December 1978

A couple of months later, Mon-El was woken up with a loud scream. He got out of his bed and ran towards his sister's bedroom.

- "What happened?" He asked. "Where's Roxy?"

Rhea was on her knees, crying.

Lar-Gand had tears, running down his cheek.

- "Someone took her." He said.

The prince's face fell as his eyes watered.

- "What? That's not possible." He shook his head. "What about the guards?"

- "Someone knocked them out." The king explained. "And kidnapped your sister."

- "My baby. My daughter." The queen sobbed.

- "Please, tell me, it is a joke of some kind." The son said.

- "I'm sorry, son." The father kneeled down to hug his wife.

Mon-El shook his head, not wanting to believe that his baby sister was truly gone, and he walked out of the room as he started to search for her all over the castle.

He searched for his sister, everywhere, until the destruction of Daxam.

Maddie's eyes watered as she saw and heard his cries after she disappeared.

- "I have to tell you something." She said, looking at the ground.

- "Your friend already told me about the destruction of my planet." Mon-El sighed.

- "It's not about that." The Matthews girl sighed. "When you were asleep, we made a DNA test on you. And we discovered that you had a half-sister here."

- "I do?" The prince frowned.

- "Yes." The quadbrid nodded.

- "Who is she? How is that possible?" The Daxamite asked.

- "I don't know how to say that, so I'm gonna be direct. I'm Roxana. I'm your sister." Maddie looked at his eyes.

Mon-El frowned.

- "This is impossible." He looked at her face. "You are too young. And Roxana wasn't my half-sister, she was entirely my sister."

- "Believe me, I can't believe it either." The Matthews girl said. "But I was aspired by a wormhole when I was 5 years old, and I arrived in another time and universe. This is why I'm young. I was born in 1978, but since I time-travelled, it's like I was born in 1999."

- "What year is it?" The prince questioned.

- "2016." The quadbrid replied.

- "You are seventeen?" The Daxamite asked.

- "Not yet." Maddie shook her head. "But in October, I will be."

Mon-El frowned.

- "I know, this is a lot, but the test proves that I'm your half sister." The Matthews girl handed him a paper. "See? We are matching at 25%, meaning we are half-siblings."

- "Even if we are, you can't be Roxana." The prince shook his head. "You don't have anything to prove it."

- "Actually, I do." The quadbrid nodded. "You see, before I was aspired by the wormhole, I absorbed radiations and now, I am a Daxamite and Kryptonian by blood, but I also have some powers from the green Martians and the Calderans, so I..."

- "You read my mind when you sat next to me." The Daxamite continued.

- "I did." Maddie nodded and turned around. She pulled on the back of her bodysuit to show the star on her shoulder blade. "This proves who I am."

Mon-El's eyes widened.

- "It's really you." He sighed, happy. "But that means..."

- "That our mother cheated on your father with mine." The Matthews girl said as she turned to face him. "I'm sorry."

- "It doesn't matter. It was years ago." The prince shook his head. "I can't believe it's really you." He put his hand on her cheek. "You grow up so much." His eyes watered as he smiled softly.

- "Yeah." The quadbrid snickered. "I don't have any memories of you, I'm sorry."

- "You were a baby, when you were kidnapped, it's perfectly normal." The Daxamite said.

- "I always thought that I was given up on." Maddie replied.

- "Why?" Mon-El frowned.

- "Because after that day, I grew up for five years on a Kree ship..." The Matthews girl started.

- "No." The prince's smile dropped.

- "Yeah, but then, this Kree, Cy-Ja, saved me. And we escaped, I absorbed the radiations of the explosion she caused, and we were aspired by a wormhole. She adopted me, gave me a name, since we didn't know my real one. She raised me like her daughter. She was really good to me." The quadbrid smiled.

- "Was?" The Daxamite asked.

- "She was killed by four Krees, when I was fourteen." Maddie sighed.

- "I'm sorry." Mon-El took her hand in his. "You were the one, holding my hand when I was sleeping."

- "Guilty." The Matthews girl snickered. "After I discovered, you were my brother, I came to see you, multiple times, every day."

- "I can't believe you're alive." The prince said and pulled her into a hug.

The quadbrid relaxed into his arms and wrapped her arms, around his back, as she, silently, cried.

- "You're really here." The Daxamite whispered in her hair as he cried.

- "I am." Maddie replied.

- "I've missed you so much." Mon-El said as he hugged her tighter.

The Matthews girl closed her eyes as she, finally, felt a sensation of home for the first time, since she left her old universe.

- "So..." The prince pulled away after several minutes. "Maddie. What happened to you after Cy-Ja saved you?"

- "Well, she changed name to look more human and called herself 'Claire." The quadbrid said.

- "Claire. Understood." The Daxamite nodded.

- "And for what I lived, I can show you like if you were there with me." Maddie raised her hands.

Mon-El took her hands and put them on his head.

- "Do it." He closed his eyes.

The Matthews girl closed her eyes and showed her most memories into his mind.

She did not show him everything she saw when she read minds, she avoided her romantic, sexual thoughts, her first five years of life, every time she changed or was naked, but she showed him all the rest.

She pulled her hands away and opened her eyes.

- "Claire and the Davenports gave you a good life." The prince smiled softly.

- "They did." The quadbrid nodded.

- "And you are back in the universe you were into because you saved them." The Daxamite said.

- "Yep." Maddie added.

- "I'm really proud of you." Mon-El replied.

- "Thank you." The Matthews girl smiled.

- "So... This Chase?" The prince smirked.

The quadbrid's smile dropped.

- "How?" She asked.

- "Daxamites have an instinct for this kind of things, but it doesn't work for yourselves." The Daxamite explained.

- "Wonderful." Maddie snickered.

Mon-El chuckled.

- "We have a lot to talk about." He said.

- "We sure do." The Matthews girl nodded.

Later, the President was walking down the stairs of the D.E.O. as everyone applauded.

- "And a very personal thank you to the three of you." She pulled the three aliens away.

- "It's what we do." GreatGirl smiled.

- "It was an honor, Madam President." Supergirl chuckled. "It was nothing. And I still can't believe I got to see Air Force One."

- "If you think that's cool, you ought to see my other jet." The head of the country replied.

- "Madam President, I am still wary of your policy." J'onn said.

- "It's not enough to defend the world, J'onn. You need to live in it too." The President smiled.

The J'onzz man smiled back and nodded.

The head of the country walked away.

- "Could she be any cooler?" The younger Danvers asked.

- "I suppose not." The director replied.

The President shape-shifting disappeared for a moment as she walked away.
