A few days later, the mentors were in the common area.

Chase was working with Chris. Leo was explaining something to Bree. Adam was talking to the twins. Maddie was laughing with Jason, causing the genius boy to, occasionally, roll his eyes.

Why is she always laughing with him? He frowned.

- "Heads up, we got a visitor coming." Donald walked in.

- "Is it a government agent, coming to take us away?" The tall guy asked.

- "Our secrets been out for a year." The green hazel-eyed boy frowned. "Why would they take us away now?"

- "Let's just say, I've done some things." The eldest teenager replied, mysteriously.

- "Okay, that's our cue to go." Emily grabbed her twin's hand and walked away.

- "I don't want to be a witness. Sorry, Chase." The younger Krane boy added.

- "It's okay, buddy." Chase chuckled. "I get it. Go."

- "Come on, womanizer." Chris grabbed his brother's hand and dragged him away.

- "Bye, Maddie." The older Krane boy smiled as he waved.

- "Bye." The alien girl snickered.

The genius boy rolled his eyes. Why are they so close?

- "It's my chief scientist, Dr. Ryan. He is by far the smartest man I have ever worked with." The father explained.

The geniuses frowned.

- "Ahem!" The green hazel-eyed boy cleared his throat.

- "Oh, you are right. I'm sorry." The scientist patted his youngest's shoulder. "I am the smartest man I have ever worked with." He laughed.

Chase shook his head, in despair.

- "No, Chase is." The Matthews girl defended.

- "No." Donald said.

- "Yes." Maddie nodded.

- "No!" The father exclaimed.

- "Yes!" The alien girl replied.

- "NO!" The scientist shouted.

- "YES!" The Matthews girl yelled.

- "STOP IT!" Donald yelled.

The genius boy chuckled and walked up behind the girl he loved, before putting a hand on her mouth to stop from saying another word.

Seriously? Maddie glared at him.

- "Thank you. Anyway, Dr. Ryan was head of his class at MIT. And he's been Davenport Industries' employee of the month twice!" The father exclaimed. "That's never happened. Well, except, of course, for me."

- "You named yourself employee of the month at your own company?" The middle brother asked, causing his father to nod. "I think you love you a little too much."

The green hazel-eyed boy nodded. Definitely.

- "It's not because I love myself. It's because I'm better than everyone else." The scientist explained.

- "I will keep my mouth shut because otherwise it will be too mean." The alien girl whispered.

- "What did you say?" Donald asked.

- "Nothing." The Matthews girl smiled.

Chase smiled, amused.

- "Uh-uh." The father frowned, suspiciously.

The hydraloop opened and Dr. Ryan stepped out. He was 5'11, had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

- "Hey, hey!" He exclaimed, before fist-bumping his boss. "Wassup, dudes?" He asked, before turning to the girls. "Ladies dudes."

- "This is your esteemed chief scientist?" The bionic girl, mockingly, questioned.

The scientist nodded.

- "And employee of the month. Got the parking space and everything." The chief scientist bragged. "I don't drive, but my mom uses it when she picks me up. That's right, twenty-eight, still living rent-free in my parent's basement. Jealous?" he asked.

No. The genius boy frowned.

- "No." The Davenport girl said.

- "Nope." Maddie shook her head.

God, his mind is weird. She thought.

- "Dr. Ryan is here to construct and test Davenport Industries new space elevator." Donald explained.

- "Space elevator?!" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned, angrily.

- "You're kidding?!" The alien girl frowned.

- "You see, this why people are out of shape. You should be building space stairs." Adam said.

- "It's a highly advanced transport that climbs a tether all the way to our space stations. Since it's held up by gravity, we can resupply without ever using a rocket." Dr. Ryan explained, before seeing Chase huff angrily. "Chase, you look confused and-slash-or constipated. Do you have a question?"

- "Yes! Why is he working on this? The space elevator was my project. I've been working on it for years." The genius boy defended to his father.

- "Yes, but I had to pass it off so you could focus on being a mentor." The scientist explained. "Don't worry, Dr. Ryan's been working off your research."

- "You gave him my research?!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled.

- "Yes, and it's been very helpful. It's always good to know what's wrong so you can find out what's right." The chief scientist replied.

- "I'm gonna slap you." The Matthews girl said.

- "Oh, no." Chase shook his head, irritated, before pulling his father away. "Dad, you can't let him do this!"

- "Check his résumé, Chase. He's one of the greatest minds of our time." Donald explained.

Dr. Ryan giggled, causing everyone to look at him.

- "I just designed a photo app that puts your face on a dog's butt." He showed them the screen of his phone.

- "Oh! No argument here, this guy is a genius." The tall guy chuckled.

- "Give me that." Maddie took his phone and started typing on it.

- "Hey, my phone!" The chief scientist complained.

- "Here." The alien girl gave it to him.

- "Self destruction in three... Two..." The automated voice in his phone said. Dr. Ryan threw his phone across the room. "One." The phone exploded in the air, startling everyone but the Matthews girl.

- "Next time, I won't put the warning." She threatened.

The genius boy pressed his lips together to hide his incoming smile. I love her so much.

- "I'm pretty sure, it's not legal, Donnie." Maddie said.

- "What are you talking about?" The father asked.

- "Chase doesn't officially work for Davenport Industries, so, his project and his research belong to him. You stole them." The alien girl explained. "He could sue you and he win."

She's right. The green hazel-eyed boy cocked his head. Even though I will not do that to my dad.

- "No." The scientist scoffed. "Really?"

- "Yes!" The Matthews girl exclaimed. "I read minds, and may I remind you that my mom was the best lawyer in the country. I know things, and what you did was illegal."

- "No, you just want to scare me." Donald shook his head and walked away.

- "If you say so." Maddie said.

- "You know I won't." Chase replied.

- "I know, but now, he's gonna be scared to lose money in a trial that he knows you would win." The alien girl smirked.

- "You're an evil genius." The genius boy chuckled. "Emphasis on the evil."

The Matthews girl shrugged, happily.

A couple of minutes later, the four geniuses were in the mentors' quarters.

- "So, that'll be the launch pad for the space elevator." Donald showed the exterior to his chief scientist. "What do you think?"

- "I'll have to do some calculations, but sounds legit." Dr. Ryan smiled.

- "I already did the calculations. In my head." Chase said. "They're totally 'legit'." He mocked.

Maddie smiled softly.

- "Well, then, if you'll excuse me, I need to get to work." The chief scientist started playing an air guitar.

He jumped on a rock as he continued to play.

- "What is he doing?" The genius boy frowned.

- "Shh. It's his process." The father whispered.

- "No, I saw enough in his head." The alien girl frowned, in disgust.

The green hazel-eyed boy put his hands on her eyes.

- "Thank you." The Matthews girl sighed, in relief.

- "This isn't fair." Chase told his father. "You can't let him build my elevator without me."

- "You know what? You're right." The scientist put his hand on his son's shoulder. "Dr. Ryan?"

- "I'm in the bridge, I'm in the bridge." Dr. Ryan stopped him as he continued to play air guitar, before, finally, stopping. "Thank you, thank you." He said to the imaginary crowd.

Donald clapped, softly.

The genius boy frowned, before taking his hands off the eyes of the girl he loved.

- "Proceed." The chief scientist told his boss.

- "Oh..." The father chuckled. "I want Chase to join you on the project."

- "Thank you!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed.

- "As your assistant." The scientist continued.

- "What?!" Chase yelled.

- "Donnie, I swear you are getting on my last nerve." Maddie glared at him.

Donald took a step back.

- "This guy is a joke. I bet he doesn't know anything about tensor equations." The genius boy said.

- "Not much, just that... Tensors are used to represent correspondences between sets of geometric vectors for applications in Newtonian physics." Dr. Ryan replied.

Shit. The alien girl thought.

- "Roughly." The green hazel-eyed boy scoffed.

- "Come on, Chase. You guys are gonna make a terrific team." The father said.

- "Don't worry, assistant dude. I'll make sure you're very involved in the process. I'll even let you play air drums." The chief scientist started playing air drums. "Quick, catch my sticks!" He threw the invisible sticks at Chase, who caught them, in shock.

The two older men started playing air instruments.

- "I'm gonna kill them." The Matthews girl chuckled, angrily.

The genius boy threw down the sticks and grabbed the hand of the girl he loved, before walking away in disgust.

Later, the father was with the two eldest mentors, Maddie, Perry and all the students in the common area.

- "As we come to the end of our first scholastic term here at the Honorable Donald Davenport World Famous Bionic Academy..." Donald started.

- "Pretty sure that's not the name." Bree said.

- "Pretty sure you didn't pay for it." The father replied, before turning to the students. "After reviewing all your performances, I'm happy to say that you will all be moving up a color level." Everyone applaud. The students took their new color shirts from Perry and Maddie. "And Leo will be moving up two color levels."

Leo's jaw dropped as everyone applaud again.

- "I'm proud of you, dumbass." The alien girl patted his back.

- "Thanks, disappointment." The younger Davenport boy smiled, before turning to the students. "Thank you, thank you. You know, as a young boy, I never dreamed I'd..."

- "Oh, just put the shirt on." The scientist cut him off.

Leo put on an oversize shirt.

- "It's a bit big, don't you think?" He asked.

- "Oh, my bad. Got cold last night, so I wore it to bed. I must've stretched it in my sleep." The security agent explained.

- "Why didn't you get a blanket?" The younger Davenport boy frowned.

- "'Cause I wanted to stretch your shirt." Terry replied, before dragging Leo out of the room.

- "I'll go get him." Alison sighed as she followed them.

Donald walked up to the mentors.

- "Guys, I didn't want to say this in front of the other students, but not everyone passed." He said.

Adam sighed, loudly.

- "I've been expecting this. And I've already written my letter of resignation." He took the letter out of his closet jacket. "I already planned a vacation with Zack, anyway. So perfect timing."

- "Not you." The father frowned. "There's still one student stuck at the lowest level: yellow."

- "Who?" The Davenport girl frowned.

- "Yellow!" Bob walked in.

- "What? No." The Matthews girl frowned, sadly.

- "Wait, Bob is failing? But he tries so hard." Bree frowned.

- "Yeah, but he's just not tough enough. I'm worried he doesn't have the fight it takes to become a bionic hero. Even Spin and Chris, who are the youngest, have more fight than him." The scientist explained, sadly. "Wait, watch this." He turned to the students. "Guys, we're under attack!" He yelled.

All the students got into fighting positions.

- "I'll destroy them!" Spin shouted.

Bob ran out of the room, screaming.

Maddie frowned. Oooh.

Later, the geniuses walked outside towards the launch pad where Dr. Ryan was working. Everything was all over the place.

- "Look at this mess." Chase said as he extended his hand to the girl he loved to help her navigate into the mess on the ground. "Don't you know how to clean up after yourself?" He asked the older man.

- "Chase, geniuses can't be bothered with little things like cleaning and uh..." The chief scientist sniffed his armpit. "Personal hygiene."

- "You are disgusting." Maddie frowned.

- "Really? 'Cause I have no problem cleaning up after myself." The genius boy replied.

- "Thank God." The alien girl whispered.

- "And that's what makes you a good assistant." Dr. Ryan smiled.

- "I am not your assistant! I'm a genius!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled. "I am!" He tapped his foot, angrily, on the ground.

The Matthews girl bit her lips to hid her smile. He's so ridiculously cute. She put her hand on his shoulder.

- "Relax." She whispered in his ear.

Chase exhaled.

- "Right. Aren't you like a really smart robot? Which button do I push to make you go away?" The chief scientist taped on the younger man's chest.

- "I am not a robot!" The genius boy smacked his hand. "But you are pushing my buttons."

- "Oh, okay. You wanna go?" Dr. Ryan got into a fighting stance. "Come on. I take karate classes every Saturday at the mall!"

- "Oh, yeah? Karate, huh? What, does your mommy drive you to that too?" The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "Chase, that's mean." Maddie, gently, smacked his arm.

Chase frowned. Since when?

- "You have to at least pretend to be scared of him." The alien girl whispered, loudly so the chief scientist would hear her.

That's my girl. The genius boy snickered.

- "I can hear you!" Dr. Ryan yelled.

- "Oh, she knows." The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.

- "And no! I ride my bike." The chief scientist explained.

- "Oh, you ride your bike? With its training wheels?" Chase mocked.

- "No! They're not training wheels, they're horizontal stabilizers." Dr. Ryan defended.

- "Back up." The genius boy threatened as he raised his fist.

- "Guys, break it up." Leo got in between them. "Why didn't you stop them?" He asked his best friend.

- "I wanted to see Chase kick his ass." The Matthews girl shrugged.

The green hazel-eyed boy smiled.

The older brother rolled his eyes.

- "Dad sent me down here to help you out. So, you, guys, need to both set aside your differences and work together." He explained.

- "Whatever." The chief scientist sighed.

- "Fine." Chase scoffed.

- "I'll run some algorithms for the tether gravity test. And Chase, you can go over to that support column and screw in the lug nuts." Dr. Ryan smiled.

- "Or...I could use my bionic Intelligence to work on the algorithm while you screw in the lug nuts." The genius boy replied.

- "You know, I would, but Davenport said you work for me. So...lug it up, Robotron." The chief scientist made whirring noises as he gave him a wrench.

He walked away.

- "I'm gonna punch him." Maddie said.

- "No, you won't." Leo frowned before following the older man.

- "I don't usually want you to hurt people." The green hazel-eyed boy turned to the girl he loved. "But if he continues like that, I will let you."

- "Good to know." The alien girl smirked. "Also, I'm very glad you care about personal hygiene, otherwise I wouldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole."

Chase snickered.

- "Yeah, but since I do care about personal hygiene?" He raised his eyebrows, amused.

- "Since you care, I can do this." The Matthews girl wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him into a hug.

The genius boy blushed brightly, before wrapping his arms around her back.

- "And this." Maddie raised her head and kissed his jaw.

The redness of the green hazel-eyed boy's face was now spreading to his neck.

- "See you later." The alien girl pulled away, before walking away.

Chase's heartbeat accelerated as he touched the zone she had kissed. God, I would die for one of her kisses.

Later, Maddie and the two eldest mentors were in the training area with Bob.

- "Okay, Bob, it's our job as mentors to help you. So we're gonna toughen you up." Bree explained.

- "And we know you can do it." The alien girl added.

- "Now, you're on a mission. Hundreds of lives are at stake. And the only way to save them is to punch this pad as hard as you can." Adam showed the pad he was holding. "What are you gonna do?"

- "I'm gonna call you guys!" The blonde boy exclaimed.

- "Okay, and what if we don't answer?" The bionic girl asked.

- "I'm gonna leave a message and wait for you to call me back." The Krane boy replied.

- "No, Bob, you need to punch the pad." The tall guy said.

- "Come on, you got this." The Matthews girl encouraged.

- "Right. Punch the pad. I got this." Bob raised his fist. "Aah!" He yelled, before lowering his fist. "I don't wanna punch the pad."

- "Why not?" The Davenport girl frowned.

- "What did that pad ever do to us?" The blonde boy asked.

- "Nothing. But, if you want to pass, you have to hit. I mean, you know you have super strength, right?" Bree asked.

- "Yeah, but I don't wanna use it for fighting." The Krane boy explained.

- "Then, how do you use it?" Maddie questioned.

- "I only use it for really important stuff. Like opening peanut butter jars. And jelly jars. And pickle jars." Bob explained. "You see where I'm going with this? Heather!" He exclaimed as he walked towards his sister.

The bionic girl pulled her fellow mentors away.

- "This is hopeless. Bob's never gonna move up to green." She said.

- "You're right. We just need to demote everyone else back to yellow." The eldest replied.

- "No, that's not the solution." The alien girl shook her head.

- "You know, maybe we need someone else to teach him. Someone who doesn't care about his feelings. Someone who can crush his spirit and make him snap." The Davenport girl explained.

- "I can think of someone." The Matthews girl said.

- "Who?" Adam frowned.

- "Move it!" Perry pushed students out of the way. "Yellow!"

- "Her." Maddie replied.

The siblings smiled and nodded.

- "T-bone, E.T., Lipstick! Get on over here and hold down the dummy. I gotta work off my morning meat loaf." Terry explained.

The tall guy held the dummy as the girls smiled.

Later, in the evening, Adam was video chatting with his boyfriend. He was laying on a lounge chair by the pool.

- "I can't wait to see you!" Zack exclaimed. "School is finally over. I can come see you." He smiled.

- "I can't wait." The taller guy smiled back. "I miss you so much."

- "I miss you, too, baby." The blonde boy replied.

- "Are your parents still okay with you staying all summer with me?" The Davenport boy asked.

- "Yes." The Fields boy nodded. "But remember, they want to meet you."

- "We met multiple times when I came to your house." Adam snickered.

- "You, guys, had small talks. They want to have dinner with us, so they can get to know you." Zack explained.

- "They do?" The tallest guy raised his eyebrows as his heartbeat quickened.

- "Don't be nervous, they'll love you." The blonde boy smiled.

The Davenport boy nodded, nervously.

- "Hey, Adam, relax." The Fields boy said.

- "I don't know how." Adam sighed.

- "Meeting my parents is a huge step. I can delay it if you're not ready to go there." Zack replied.

- "What?! No!" The tallest guy frowned. "I want to take this step, I'm just nervous. I know how much you, guys, are close. What if they don't like me? What if they want us to break up?!"

- "Hey, no." The blonde boy shook his head. "They won't. They will love you, if they don't already. They can see how much you make me happy, I'm pretty sure they already love you."

- "You think?" The Davenport boy asked.

- "Yes, don't worry about it, baby." The Fields boy nodded. "Are you still existed to see me, or you are too nervous, now?"

- "No." Adam scoffed, amused. "I'm still excited to see you. I can't wait to kiss you."

- "I have a couple ideas of what we can do to celebrate." Zack smirked.

The tallest guy blushed brightly and looked around.

- "God, you are so dirty." He whispered.

- "You love it." The blonde boy snickered.

- "I do." The Davenport boy bit his lips.

- "I know." The Fields boy replied. "Talk to you tomorrow?"

- "Yep." Adam nodded. "You're still coming on Monday?"

- "Yes." Zack lied.

- "I'll have things ready for you." The tallest guy smirked.

- "What do you have in mind?" The blonde boy's face turned red.

- "You'll see." The Davenport boy replied.

- "I hate when you are being mysterious like that." The Fields boy frowned, amused.

- "You love it." Adam mocked.

- "I do." Zack chuckled.

- "See you later, handsome." The tallest guy smiled, making his boyfriend blush.

- "See you later, baby." The blonde boy replied. "I hope you make very dirty dreams about me tonight. I know I will." He smirked, before hanging up.

The Davenport boy blushed brightly as he hid his face in his hands.

- "He's impossible." He chuckled, softly.

- "Are you okay, big guy?" Maddie walked in.

Adam raised his head.

- "Yeah, I'm fine." He nodded. "Just Zack saying stupid shit." He snickered.

- "Stupid or dirty?" The alien girl smiled.

- "You know him, what do you think?" The tall guy scoffed, amused.

- "Definitely dirty." The Matthews girl chuckled as she sat on the lounge chair to face him. "No, but more seriously, you look nervous."

- "It's not about having sex if that's what is worrying you." The eldest replied.

- "It's not." Maddie shook her head. "I know you, two, are not virgins since he came last time."

- "Sssh." Adam whispered. "You know?"

- "Yes." The alien girl murmured.

- "How?" The tall guy asked.

- "You, guys, had cheesy smiles glue to your faces." The Matthews girl explained.

- "Like when you look at Chase?" The eldest smirked.

- "No." Maddie scoffed. "I don't have THAT smile when I look at Chase."

- "What do you mean by 'THAT smile'?" Adam frowned.

- "I mean the smile that says: 'I made him cum, last night'." The alien girl said.

- "Stop it." The tall guy whisper-yelled.

The Matthews girl laughed.

- "I get why you, two, are friends." The eldest chuckled.

- "So, why are you worried?" Maddie asked.

- "His parents want to get to know me." Adam sighed.

- "Ah." The alien girl nodded. "Adam." She put a hand on his forearm. "You're a great guy, and you make their son happy, they don't have any reason not to love you."

- "You think so?" The tall guy raised his eyebrows, hopeful.

- "I know so." The Matthews girl replied. "Adam, don't worry about it, be yourself, and they will love you."

- "Honestly, I thought you hated me." The eldest said.

- "What?" Maddie frowned.

- "You are always hitting me." Adam explained.

- "And you are always hitting Chase." The alien girl replied.

- "I see your point." The tall guy snickered.

- "Besides, I'm only hitting you to defend Chase. The day you'll stop hitting him, I'll stop hitting you." The Matthews girl shrugged.

- "So, never?" The eldest raised his eyebrows, amused.

- "That depends on you." Maddie said.

- "Yeah." Adam sighed. "Thanks for the talk, sis."

- "Any time, bro." The alien girl smiled. "You know I love you, right?"

- "I know. I was messing with you. I never thought you hated me." The tall guy snickered. "If you did, I wouldn't be alive."

- "True." The Matthews girl chuckled.

- "And I love you, too, little lady." The eldest smiled and pressed a kiss on the top of her head as he got up.

Maddie smiled as she watched him walk in the living room, gently, patting his youngest brother's back as he walked by.

Chase frowned, before smiling at his eldest brother.

- "Goodnight, bro." Adam said, from the hallway.

- "Goodnight." The genius boy replied. He turned his head and saw the girl he loved on a lounge chair outside, looking at the black sky. He got up and walked up to her. "Move, please." He said, softly.

The alien girl moved a little to the side to leave him space to lay next to her.

The Davenport boy laid next to her, their bodies touching each other due to the lack of space on the lounge chair.

- "What did you tell him?" He asked.

- "We talked about Zack." The Matthews girl replied.

- "And all of a sudden, he's nice?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "Wait until tomorrow, then you can decide if he's nice." The blue-eyed girl said.

- "Alright." Chase snickered.

Without looking away from the sky, he took her right hand and pulled it over his chest. He, mindlessly, started playing with her two rings.

Maddie smiled.

I hope she will like her birthday present. The bionic boy thought. She already has four rings, maybe she doesn't want one more.

- "What are you thinking?" The alien girl asked.

- "I was just thinking about your rings." The Davenport boy said.

- "What about my rings?" The Matthews girl frowned.

- "I like them." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "Thanks. But I miss one." The blue-eyed girl sighed.

She still feels this way, good. Chase smiled.

- "I can't find THE perfect one for my thumb." Maddie explained.

- "That's... That's too bad." The bionic boy added.

- "Yeah." The alien girl sighed.

- "I'll find it for you." The Davenport boy turned his face to look at her.

I already made it. He smirked.

- "What? No." The Matthews girl shook her head. "You don't have to do this."

- "I want to." The green hazel-eyed boy replied. "Let me." He used his hand to turn her face to make her look at him.

- "Okay. Thank you." The blue-eyed girl smiled, softly.

- "My pleasure." Chase smiled back.

Maddie snuggled against his side.

The bionic boy wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer.

The alien girl laid her head on his chest.

- "You like hearing my heart beating?" The Davenport boy asked, amused.

- "Yes." The Matthews girl closed her eyes. "It's the proof that you are still alive."

- "I really scared you with the Incapacitator." The green hazel-eyed boy said, guilty.

- "Nooo. Not at all." The blue-eyed girl, sarcastically, replied.

Chase rolled his eyes, amused.

- "I'm sorry." He whispered.

- "I know." Maddie looked up at him.

The bionic boy kissed her forehead. I love you.

The alien girl laid her head back on his chest. I love you.

The next morning, Maddie was in the common area ready to leave.

- "Mads?" Chase walked in.

- "Yes." The alien girl turned around.

- "Aren't you coming to the launch?" The bionic boy asked.

- "I'm sorry, I can't." The Matthews girl frowned, sadly. "I have plans."

- "What plans?" The Davenport boy crossed his arms. "Sorry, not my business." He raised his hands.

- "It's for a surprise for Adam." The blue-eyed girl whispered.

- "What kind of surprise?" The green hazel-eyed boy murmured.

- "The cheesy loving type." Maddie smiled.

- "Oh." Chase grinned widely. "He's coming early?" He whispered.

- "Yep. I'm gonna go get him with the hydraloop." The alien girl said. "He thinks teleportation is cool, but weird." She snickered.

- "He's not wrong." The bionic boy teased.

The Matthews girl gasped.

- "I am never teleporting with you, ever again." She scoffed.

- "No, I'm sorry." The Davenport boy smiled. "What can I do for you to forgive me?"

- "You could beg." The blue-eyed girl smirked.

The green hazel-eyed boy blushed, slightly.

- "What? With the books I read, we both know I like that." Maddie said.

Chase's cheeks turned bright red.

- "Got you." The alien girl snickered. "You are forgiven."

- "So making me blush is enough for you to forgive me?" The bionic boy asked, in disbelief.

- "Yep." The Matthews girl nodded. "I already told you, you're cute when you blush. And it's funny."

- "You are such a..." The Davenport boy started.

The blue-eyed girl walked up to him.

- "Such a what?" She whispered in his ear.

The green hazel-eyed boy swallowed hard as some other part of his body was becoming hard.

Maddie smirked and looked up at him, challenging him.

- "Such an evil woman." Chase replied.

- "Yeah, I know." The alien girl shrugged, happily. The doors of the hydraloop opened. "See you later, Chase." She walked in the hydraloop and the doors closed.

The bionic boy sighed as he felt like he could, finally, breathe again. If I didn't know any better, I'd think she's flirting with me. He scoffed. Which is ridiculous.

Later, Dr. Ryan was with his boss and the latter's middle son at the launch pad.

- "Looks like we are ready for launch." He said.

- "Hold it!" Chase yelled from afar. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" He ran towards them. "I thought I told you guys not to start without me."

- "Oh, Chase, geniuses can't be bothered..." The chief scientist started.

- "I am a genius! Stop telling me what geniuses do!" The genius boy yelled, irritated.

- "Where is Dee when you need her?" Leo looked around.

- "She's on the mainland." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "Dang it." The older brother sighed.

Chase rolled his eyes.

- "I'm very impressed, you guys. Because of you two, we're about to make history." Donald said.

- "Yes, thanks to my expert engineering. And if it wasn't for Chase, the lug nuts would still be in a tin can." Dr. Ryan mocked.

- "I didn't do the lug nuts. Leo did." The genius boy replied.

- "And I did them well." Leo bragged.

- "Behold, ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at the world's first space elevator, and my new haircut." The father said to several students, who were there to assist to the launch. "Which one is more impressive, only time will tell."

The students applaud.

- "Did you colored them?" Chloe frowned.

- "Colored them?" The scientist scoffed. "No!"

- "Good one." Chris fist-bumped his sister.

- "Don't you think I should do a microscopic scan with my bionic eye first just to make sure..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.

- "Tut! Tut! Tut!" The chief scientist stopped him. "Trust me. My work is flawless. I graduated college when I was fourteen."

- "Oh, yeah? Well... I went to high school for two years and a half." Chase replied. "And my best friend finished high school and got two masters in four months." He explained, proudly, before walking over to his brother.

- "Why did you talk about Dee when you did the exact same thing?" Leo frowned. "Except she did literature and education, and you did science and engineering."

- "I didn't think about it." The genius boy shrugged.

- "Is Dee too much in your thoughts?" The older brother smirked.

- "Stop it." The green hazel-eyed boy whispered.

- "My brother is in love." Leo chuckled.

- "Whatever." Chase rolled his eyes as his cheeks reddened. "I'm gonna do the scan anyway." He said.

- "Of course you are." The older brother replied.

The genius boy put two fingers on his temple and scanned the elevator with his bionic eye.

- "A-ha!" He exclaimed, before turning to his brother. "There's a design flaw in the breaking system. He won't be able to stop."

- "You serious?" Leo frowned.

- "Yeah." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded.

- "We have to tell Dr. Ryan." The older brother said.

- "No! Wait." Chase stopped him. "What if we don't? He'll be humiliated in front of everyone and Dad will..."

- "Send him packing and reassign you to head of the project." Leo continued. "That's a brilliant plan. Shady, but brilliant."

- "Thank you." The genius boy smiled. "Now, just one more thing. I need you..." He opened a box and got out a test dummy. "To strap in the test dummy."

- "Oh, you won't be needing that. I will be taking the inaugural ride myself." Donald explained.

- "Aah!" The green hazel-eyed boy screamed.

- "No, you can't." The older brother said.

- "Yes, I can. Watch me." The father got in the space elevator and shut the door.

Chase, quickly, tapped on the door.

- "Stop! You're gonna die!" He yelled.

- "The capsule's soundproof. I can't hear you. But I read lips. Say it again." The scientist said.

- "You're gonna die." The genius boy articulated.

- "Oh, I guess I can't read lips. It looks like you're saying I'm gonna die." Donald laughed.

- "Dad's life is in danger. You have to abort the launch." The green hazel-eyed boy said to the chief scientist.

- "Trying to sabotage my moment with straight-up lies? It hurts me to say this, but you're out of the air band." He replied.

- "I'll just tell Dad myself. Give me the comm. Set!" Chase tried to take the comm. Set.

- "No!" Dr. Ryan said.

The genius boy tried to grab it, but the chief scientist held it, causing it to break in half.

- "You broke my new comm. Set." Dr. Ryan gasped. "You owe me $15.99."

- "Great! Now we can't communicate with Dad." Leo complained.

- "I scanned your elevator. There's a design flaw in the breaking system. One of your genius algorithms must've been off." The green hazel-eyed boy explained.

- "And you tell me now?" The chief scientist asked, in disbelief. "I take it back. You are not a good assistant."

- "10...9...8..." The older brother started to count with the students.

- "What are you doing?" Chase frowned.

- "Sorry. I always get caught up in countdowns." Leo chuckled.

- "Where's the abort button?" The genius boy asked.

- "Why would I make an 'I'm going to fail' button?" Dr. Ryan questioned.

- "Because you just failed!" The green hazel-eyed boy shouted.

The space elevator launched and the students started cheering.

This is bad. This is, really, really bad. Chase thought.

Later, Maddie arrived in front of her friend's house. She knocked on the door.

A 5'6 blonde woman with blue eyes opened the door.

She was Katherine Fields, Zack's mother.

- "Oh, Maddie!" She exclaimed. "It's been a while."

- "Sure has, Mrs. Fields." The alien girl smiled.

- "Zack!" Katherine yelled. "So, how have you been?"

- "I've been great. The academy is a lot of work, but I love it." The Matthews girl said.

- "That's good." The Fields woman nodded.

- "Hey, Maddie." Zack walked out the door.

He dropped his bag and suitcase on the ground to hug his friend.

- "Hey." Maddie smiled.

- "Well, have fun, kids." Katherine said, before turning to her son. "And you call every day, or your father and I will come to the academy." She warned.

- "Don't worry, I will." The Fields boy nodded.

- "Good." The Fields woman replied. "Tell Adam we say 'hello'."

- "I will." The blonde boy smiled. "See you soon, for the dinner."

- "Yes." Katherine smiled back.

- "Bye, mom." Zack, quickly, hugged his mother.

- "Bye, sweetie." The mother replied. "Bye, Maddie.

- "Goodbye, Mrs. Fields." The alien girl smiled.

The two teenagers walked away with his suitcase and his bag.

- "So, he still doesn't suspect anything?" The blonde boy asked.

- "Nope." The Matthews girl shook her head. "I told him I was going to the mainland to buy books, so he didn't ask more questions." She snickered.

- "Good job." The Fields boy chuckled.

In the meanwhile, at the launch site, everyone was still looking at the space elevator.

- "Whoa... I gotta say, people, from down here, it looks like my launch was on point." Dr. Ryan smiled.

- "Really? Once the elevator reaches the end of the tether, my dad will be floating in space with no way back!" Chase yelled.

- "I won't say anything if you don't." The chief scientist whispered.

The genius boy frowned. That's my dad.

- "Guys!" Leo yelled. "The elevator speed keeps increasing! I wonder if Big D even knows how fast he's going."

- "I think I know how to stop it. What if we..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.

- "No!" Dr. Ryan yelled

- "I didn't even say anything!" Chase frowned.

- "You don't have to. I know it's gonna be wrong." The chief scientist said.

The genius boy rolled his eyes, irritated.

- "Hey, wait a minute. Isn't the elevator propelled by magnets?" The older brother asked.

- "Duh." The two genius men, simultaneously, replied.

- "So, if we reverse the polarity, won't it send Dad back down?" Leo questioned.

- "He's right." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "I know. What do we do?" Dr. Ryan frowned. "I've never been corrected before."

- "Oh, and I have?" Chase, sarcastically, asked.

The chief scientist nodded.

- "Congratulations, you are the dumbest geniuses I know, now fix this." The older brother said.

The two genius men walked towards him.

- "Here." Dr. Ryan typed on his tablet. "This should reverse the direction of the magnetic current."

- "Okay." The genius boy pressed buttons on the machine. "Done." The space elevator stopped going up and paused, before starting to hurdle downwards. "It worked. It's coming back down!"

- "I did it!" The two genius men started jumping from joy. "I did it! I did it! I did it!"

- "Guys. There's still no way to stop it. And the elevator is coming down ten times faster." Leo said.

- "He did it!" The two genius men pointed at each other.

Later, the two eldest mentors were in the common area with Bob.

- "She's about to face the wrath of new Bob!" He ran out of the room, yelling.

The two siblings turned to see him ran away.

- "New Bob versus old Perry." Adam frowned as the hydraloop arrived. "Now, that's a cage match I gotta see." He started to walk away.

- "And to think, I thought you would be excited to see me." Zack scoffed as he got out of the hydraloop with Maddie.

- "Zack!" The tallest guy's eyes widened as he ran towards his boyfriend.

He wrapped his arms around his waist and hugged him, tightly, lifting his feet off the ground.

- "Hi, baby." The blonde boy chuckled.

The two girls snickered and high-fived.

- "Our plan worked perfectly." Bree said.

The Fields boy nodded.

The eldest put down his boyfriend and turned to the girls.

- "It was your idea?" He asked.

- "To make Zack tell you he will only come a few days later? No." The bionic girl shook her head as she smiled.

- "We would never." The alien girl added.

- "Thank you." Adam smiled widely.

- "Now, I was promised something." Zack smirked.

- "Right." The tallest guy cupped his boyfriend's face and pulled him into a fierce, passionate kiss.

The blonde boy gasped into the kiss, letting his boyfriend slide his tongue in his mouth.

- "Oookay." The Matthews girl's eyes widened. "Let's go."

- "Yep. I don't want to see that." The Davenport girl frowned. "Bob is gonna fight Perry, come on."

- "You do that, I'm gonna go see the launch." Maddie said.

Bree nodded.

The two girls walked away.

The eldest roamed his hands down his boyfriend's body.

The Fields boy stopped his hands and pulled away.

- "Not here." He whispered as he tried to catch his breath. "Come on." He took his boyfriend's hand and his suitcase.

Adam smiled and took the bag.

The two boys walked towards his room. As soon as they closed the door and dropped the bag and the suitcase, Zack pushed his boyfriend on his bed.

- "God, I've missed you." He straddled his lap.

- "Me too." The tallest guy sat up as he took off his compression shirt.

- "I will never get tired of this." The blonde boy caressed his boyfriend's chest, before taking off his own shirt.

He, slowly, started to grind his hips against his boyfriend's.

The eldest groaned, softly, and planted kisses down the Fields boy's neck, making him moan and grip his boyfriend's hair.

Adam put one arm around his boyfriend's and switched their position to get on top of him.

- "I prefer when we are like this." He smirked.

- "Me too." Zack cupped his boyfriend's face and pulled him for a deep and slow kiss.

The tallest guy moved his hand down his boyfriend's body until he reached his belt and started undoing it.

The blonde moved one of his hands between their bodies and cupped his boyfriend's erection, making him moan loudly.

In the meanwhile, the three men were still trying to find a way to save Donald.

- "Twenty seconds to impact! What do we do?!" Chase asked.

- "Look away?" Dr. Ryan suggested.

- "Forget it, I'll save him." Leo got on the elevator launch pad and raised his hand, palm up.

- "No!" The genius boy yelled. "Leo, get off that thing. The elevator will crush you."

- "My bionic arm is strong enough to stop it." The older brother said.

- "At that speed, the impact will carry all the way through your body." The chief scientist replied.

- "My arm also absorbs energy. Maybe it'll withstand the impact." Leo added.

- "It's too risky." The green hazel-eyed boy continued.

- "I hate to say it, but Chase is right." Dr. Ryan said.

- "It's coming!" Chase yelled.

- "We don't have a choice!" The older brother exclaimed. The elevator came hurtling down, but Leo stopped it with his bionic arm. Everyone applaud. "I did it. I'm okay." He smiled widely.

- "Good job, Leo." The genius boy smiled.

- "And it's heavy!" The older brother frowned.

The father came walking out from behind the students, covered in foliage and holding a parachute.

- "Dad?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned. "How'd you get out of the elevator?"

- "I ejected using the parachute I brought with me. You don't think I trust my life to some technology built by a couple of kids and an air guitarist, do you?" The scientist replied.

Good idea. Chase nodded.

- "Hey, Leo." Donald said.

- "What the... You're not even in there?!" Leo yelled.

He tried to get out from under the elevator, but it slammed down and crushed his leg underneath it, pinning him down.

Everyone frowned, in worry.

- "Leo!" The genius boy rushed to his brother and put his hand on his back, in comfort.

- "It's okay. If I don't look, it won't hurt as much." The older brother turned around to look. "I looked! I looked! I looked!" He shouted.

Chris walked up to the father and took his wrist. He opened the watch and pressed the signal.

Maddie super speeded a couple of seconds later.

- "Leo!" She rushed over him. "Okay, Chris, use your abilities to control Leo's pain. Kate, James, go to the infirmary and bring back to gurney. Donnie, call the hospital, have them ready to take Leo." She ordered.

Everyone obeyed.

- "I don't feel anything." Leo sighed, in relief. "Thanks, Chris."

The green hazel-eyed boy caressed his brother's back.

A couple of seconds later, the two students came back with the gurney.

- "Okay, on three, I'm lifting the elevator, and you are pulling him out." Maddie said to Chase.

- "Go." He replied.

The alien girl lifted the elevator, and the genius boy pulled out his brother with their father's help.

Everyone frowned as Leo's leg was covered in blood. Chris stopped using his ability.

The Matthews girl dropped the elevator and opened a portal.

- "Let's go." The green hazel-eyed boy pushed the gurney into the portal.

A group of doctors came rushing and them.

- "We got him." One woman said.

The two geniuses and Donald looked at Leo being wheeled out.

- "I'm staying here. You, guys, go back to the academy." He replied.

- "But..." Maddie started.

- "Dad..." Chase frowned.

- "There is nothing you can do here, guys. Go back to the academy. You, two, are in charge." The father explained.

The two geniuses sighed and walked back into the portal.

- "Everyone, we will tell you as soon as we have news, until then, you can go." The genius boy said.

The students sighed and walked away.

- "I'm sorry, dudes." Dr. Ryan frowned and walked away as well.

The green hazel-eyed boy pulled the girl he loved into a hug as she, finally, relaxed in his arms.

- "He's gonna be okay, Mads." He whispered in her hair.

- "I hope so." The alien girl sighed.

Later, in the evening, the mentors were in the common area with Zack and Dr. Ryan as Leo walked in with his father.

- "Leo, you're okay!" Bree exclaimed.

Maddie sighed, as she had been holding her breath ever since she saw her childhood best friend like this. She ran towards him and hugged him for a couple of seconds.

- "The doctor said that his femur and tibia bones were broken so badly, he'd need a titanium rod put in." Donald explained.

- "Then Dad said: 'That sounds expensive' and wheeled me right out of the hospital." The middle brother added.

The alien girl snickered.

- "That's not what really happened." The scientist defended. "I was just worried he wouldn't be able to go on missions anymore. So I did the procedure myself. Now, he has a bionic leg."

- "Wait, so, thanks to you, Leo got injured and now has another bionic limb?" The bionic girl asked. "I am beginning to question your parenting skills."

The four eldest teenagers walked away, leaving the four geniuses together.

- "You, two, are my brightest minds." Donald said to his chief scientist and his youngest son. "What happened out there?"

- "We got so caught up in proving to each other how smart we are, that we did something really stupid." Chase explained.

- "I guess I need to learn how to work with others. It just ain't my thang." Dr. Ryan replied.

- "Yeah. Neither is proper English." The genius boy put his hand on his shoulder, before leading him towards the hydraloop.

The chief scientist left.

- "You are smarter than him, anyway." The Matthews girl whispered in the ear of the boy she loved.

The green hazel-eyed boy blushed, slightly, as he smiled.

- "Hey, Dad, are you sure this worked?" Leo asked. "My leg doesn't feel any different."

- "Well, it may take a little while for the bionics to kick in." The father explained.

The middle brother kicked a basketball out of the Fields boy's hand with a surprising force.

- "Wow." He said with wide eyes.

- "Whoa! Good thing my reflexes..." The scientist started, before being hit in the back with the basketball, causing him to fall over. "Ow." He groaned on the floor.

- "Looks like it worked to me." Adam said as he took the basketball. "Come on, let's go." He told his boyfriend.

The boyfriends walked away, followed by the three younger siblings.

Maddie shook her head and helped Donald up.

- "Thank you, Maddison." He sighed, in pain.

- "You're welcome, Donnie." The alien girl smiled, softly.
