In the lab, Bree was on the phone with Caitlin, while the bionics brothers followed her around and laughed.
- "Caitlin, calm down, okay? Calm down." She said to her friend on the phone.
- "Yes, Caitlin, calm down!" Chase mocked.
- "Yeah, you need to CHILL OUT!" Adam shouted.
The two boys laughed and did a handshake. The bionic girl sighed, frustrated, and walked to the other side of the lab, away from her brothers, who followed her.
- "Hey, Rodney breaks up with you every two weeks. That is, like, totally normal." She, hopelessly, tried to calm her friend, who started crying over the phone. "No! No, don't cry, don't cry." Caitlin screamed over the phone. The Davenport girl pulled her phone, away from her ear. "Okay, scream. Screaming is good."
- "Screaming is so good." The genius boy replied.
One by one, the Davenports boys started to make shrieking noises and laughed.
It's so funny to annoy Bree. The young scientist thought.
- "I am so sick of you!" The sister yelled at her brothers. "No, no, no! I'm not sick of you, Caitlin." She explained to her friend, on the phone. "Maybe Rodney just needs some space."
- "Yeah, maybe Rodney's an astronaut!" The youngest Davenport exclaimed.
- "Yeah, maybe he dumped Caitlin for a one-eyed Martian girl!" The tallest yelled.
Bree looked, irritated, at her brothers.
- "Caitlin, hold on!" She yelled, over the phone, and walked away to her capsule.
- "Ooh!" The brothers mocked.
She, silently, laughed at Adam and Chase, through the soundproof capsule, before going back to her call.
- "Okay, what were you saying?" The bionic girl asked.
- "I got this." The genius pushed some buttons on the console, causing Bree's phone went flying into the capsule's ceiling with a bang. The brothers laughed, loudly, and high-fived. "I love magnets!"
The Davenport girl, unsuccessfully, reached for her phone.

Bree stormed upstairs, with Adam and Chase following her very closely, laughing. They walked to the couch, where Donald, Tasha, and Leo were watching a movie.
- "Mr. Davenport, I cannot stand them anymore. Can they please go live in your warehouse?" The daughter asked.
- "Bree, the warehouse is where I keep my explosive chemicals." The father snickered.
- "Like I said, can they please go live in your warehouse?" She replied.
The youngest Davenport rolled his eyes.
- "Well, Donald, she is getting older." The mother said. "She needs privacy. Why don't you give her one of your extra rooms? You have, like, fourteen." She continued.
- "Whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I do not have any extra rooms." The scientist defended.
- "You have a pool table room, bumper car room, arcade room, surf simulator room, not to mention a room full of mirrors!" The Davenport woman exclaimed.
- "Yeah, or, as I like to call it, a room full of me." Donald, dreamily, smiled.
- "Okay, Bree, you can have my sewing room." Tasha replied to her daughter.
- "Yes! So long, bozos!" Bree said to her brothers.
- "Fine. Without you, we will make the lab totally awesome for ourselves." The genius boy replied.
- "Mhm, that's right." The tallest continued. "No more hair scrunchies or rainbow-colored toe socks or pretty, pinky, shiny junk!" He complained. "Ooh, but I'm a little chapped. Could I borrow some of your Bubble Berry Pucker Bomb?" Without waiting for an answer, he snatched the chap stick off his sister's neck.
- "Wh...?" The latter replied as she watched, disgusted, her oldest brother, applying her chap stick.
- "Man, it's always so hard not to eat." Adam moved the chap stick towards his mouth, but he was stopped by Bree.
She grabbed her chap stick and stormed out, to pack her stuffs into her new room.

Later, that day, Chase was meditating, in the lab. He, gently, hit the gong and closed his eyes. When Adam walked in and knocked over the gong with a dusty chair, scaring his brother.
- "Whoo! So, I was looking for stuff to spruce up our new pad, and I found this awesome chair. Someone just left it on the curb with a "Take me, I'm free" sign on it." The oldest explained. "Suckas!" He tapped the chair, releasing a cloud of dust, causing his youngest brother to start coughing. "Oh, look, and it comes with a free chihuahua." He lifted the cushion of the chair and revealed a rat.
What the heck? The genius thought.
- "Adam! That's a rat!" He exclaimed.
- "Oh, good, then it won't keep me up with its barking." The tall guys said.
- "Adam, get that chair out of here right now." The young scientist ordered.
- "Well, if I do that, then where's the rat supposed to live?" Adam asked, smiling.
- "How 'bout we check with the neighbors' cat?" Chase grinned.
Mads would laugh. He thought.
The oldest gasped in horror.
- "Hey, if you don't like my rat, why'd you buy him such a fancy little hot tub?" He walked to a small fountain.
- "No!" The genius, quickly, got up to stop his brother from touching it. "You keep that disease-ridden thing out of my Zen fountain."
- "And if he can't swim in it, then I don't want it in here." The oldest argued.
- "The fountain stays." The youngest replied.
- "The rat stays." Adam answered.
- "Okay, there is only one solution for this. We'll have to split the room down the middle." Chase explained.
- "Fine. Me and my pet will be happy right over here." The tallest guy moved, further, to his left.
- "Great. Then this will be my half." The genius gestured, where he was standing.
- "Fine." The oldest replied. "Good news, Mr. Little Paws. You and I are gonna be roomies." He lifted the cushion to talk to the rat. "Oh, look! He's so excited, he made raisins!" He yelled, happily.
Please, do not eat it. The youngest slapped his forehead.

The next day, Maddie was with Leo, on the mansion's couch, while their families were doing their own things.
- "So, what are you going to do with Janelle?" She asked her childhood best friend.
- "Well, Big D said to do something flashy, so she knows that I'm cool." The Dooley boy replied.
- "That's stupid." The alien girl snickered.
- "What?" The short boy frowned.
- "You don't have to do something flashy to show, Janelle, that you are cool. You like the same things, so just be your awesome self." The Matthews girl explained, with a soft smile.
- "Yeah." Leo looked at the floor, thoughtfully.
- "I don't even know why I bother; you're not going to listen to me." Maddie chuckled.
- "No, I'm not." The young boy laughed. "But, if you are right..."
- "Like always." The alien girl interrupted her best friend.
- "Shush." He rolled his eyes. The Matthews girl raised her hands in the air and laughed. "I was saying; if you are right, you'll be able to tell me "I told you, so."."
- "Again." She replied.
- "Yeah, yeah, I know." The Dooley boy shook his head, smiling.
- "Little lady!" Adam yelled, as he entered the kitchen, excited.
- "Excuse me, but I promised to Adam, that we'll cook today's lunch." The genius girl got up from the couch.
- "Good luck. Hopefully, with your help, we'll have something to eat." Leo chuckled.
- "Hey!" Maddie, gently, slapped his shoulder. "He's trying. He lived in a basement for his entire life, it's normal to make mistakes." She whispered to her childhood best friend. "Give him a chance."
- "Fine. But, Dee, keep your eyes on him." The short boy replied.
- "I will." The Matthews girl smiled and walked towards the kitchen. "Put the apron." She ordered. He followed her order. "Wash your hands." She said to her tall friend, who obeyed.
- "Done." The oldest showed his hands up, proudly.
- "Great." The alien girl smiled and washed her hands, as well. "Now, you take the three puff pastes out of the fridge."
- "Yes, chef." He complied, happily.
Maddie smiled and took the pie tins out of the cabinets.
- "Now, you can, delicately, put one puff paste in each pie tins." She explained.
- "Like that?" Adam asked as he put one in the pie tin.
- "Yes. That's perfect." She replied. The oldest smiled widely. "Now, you take a fork, and you pierce holes on the bottom. Like this." The Matthews girl pierced holes in one of the pastes.
- "Got it." The tall guy executed, with hard movements.
- "Adam, wait. More gently, it's a puff paste, it's not that hard." The genius girl chuckled, softly.
- "Right. Sorry." The Davenport guy sighed.
- "Hey." Maddie put her hand on his shoulder. "It's okay. It's the first time, you're doing this. Just be more gentle. I'll tell you if you need to be faster or go harder." She smiled.
- "Okay." He smiled back and continued, gently, to pierce holes in the paste.
- "Perfect." She smiled and turned on the oven.
The oldest grinned, proudly, as he continued to pierce holes in the rest of the three pastes. The Matthews girl cut the ham, the bacon, and the mushrooms.
- "Now, what?" Adam asked.
- "You can do the béchamel. Take the butter, the floor, the baking powder and the milk." The alien girl replied as she took out a saucepan and a scale.
The tall guy weighed the ingredients, like Maddie said. She turned on the stove under the saucepan.
- "Maddie, I'm done!" He exclaimed.
- "Now, you put the butter in the pan. Once, it completely melted; you put the floor and baking powder, you mix, and you add the milk." The genius girl prepared the ingredients around the stove. "But you have to mix very quickly, so it doesn't burn. Can you do that?" She challenged as she handed him the whip.
- "Watch!" The oldest grinned and took the whip.
He followed his friend's directions.
- "That's it! That's perfect, Adam!" Maddie exclaimed and turn off the stove. She handed a spatula to her tall friend. "Now, you can mix gently, while I add the other ingredients."
The two friends finished cooking and put the three quiches, in the oven. They high-fived.
- "We did it!" The tall guy exclaimed.
- "No, you did it." The alien girl corrected. "You did everything important. You are the chef. I was your sous-chef."
- "Thank you." He pulled her in a hug.
- "You're welcome." She smiled, into the hug.
- "Wow, I never thought Adam could cook without burning down the kitchen." Bree said, from the other side of the room. "Maddie is good."
- "She's really patient." Claire smiled, as she watched her daughter from afar. "So, how is it to have your own room?" She asked.
- "It's great." The bionic girl replied, hesitantly.
- "But...?" The Matthews mom questioned.
- "Tasha is invasive." The Davenport girl sighed.
The alien woman smiled, sadly.
- "It's the first time, she has a daughter." She explained. "Maddie is like a daughter to her, but it's not the same. You are, actually, her daughter. She wants to spend time with you."
- "So, you're saying, I shouldn't say anything?" Bree questioned.
- "No, I'm saying try to understand her and talk to her. But, put boundaries." Claire smiled.
- "I will. Thanks, Claire." The Davenport girl side-hugged the Matthews woman.
- "You're welcome, sweetie." The alien smiled.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A while later, the quiches were almost ready. Claire and Bree had set the table outside, under the bright sun.
- "Guys! Did you see that? I can cook!" Adam yelled to the Davenports and Matthews.
- "Yes, congrats." The Davenport sister yelled back.
- "Well done, buddy." The father replied.
- "What is that smell?" Chase walked in the kitchen with Tasha.
- "Adam's quiches." Maddie replied.
- "Good job, honey. It smells delicious." The Davenport mom put a hand on his shoulder.
- "Thank you. But, this is thanks to Maddie." The tall guy wrapped his arm around his friend's shoulders. "She's amazing."
- "No, it's all you." The alien girl smiled, shyly, as she nudged him.
She's cute. The genius boy smiled, fondly. I'm glad she's our friend.
- "Take the compliment, Mads." He said. "You're amazing."
Aw. She thought. He's so sweet.
The butterflies in her stomach caused by the youngest Davenport, only grew every time, he was around her.
- "Fine. Thank you." She smiled and pushed her glasses up her nose.
The youngest Davenport smirked, victorious.
His smile is so perfect. The Matthews girl thought.
- "You are really bad at taking compliments." He joked.
- "So are you." She grinned.
- "I do not know what you are talking about." The genius boy blushed brightly.
- "Uh-uh." The genius girl laughed.
I could get lost in those ocean eyes, for the rest of my life. He thought. I hope she'll stay my friend.
I would do anything to see him smile, like that, every day. She thought.
The two young geniuses were too focused looking at each other; neither of them seems to notice everyone around them, going outside.
- "Chase! Maddison! Come eat!" Donald yelled from outside.
The two were startled and, finally, reconnected with the world.
Shit. She thought.
Crap. He thought.
- "Right." Chase blushed.
- "I didn't even notice the quiches were ready." Maddie chuckled. "Or that they went outside."
- "Me neither." He laughed.
They walked side by side, towards the door, smiling.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
After the Matthews left, Chase went back to the lab. He was attacking a training dummy. He kicked it, before jumping on its shoulders and snapping its neck. The genius was mediating on the dummy's neck when Leo walked in.
- "Nice cow." He deadpanned as he walked next to a plastic cow, on Adam's side of the lab. "Is Davenport down here?"
- "Nope." The bionic boy replied.
- "Good. I'm mad at him, but I need one of his gadgets, so I can be flashy for Janelle." The short boy explained as he walked, excited, to the other side of the lab. "Dee said it was stupid, but..." He shrugged.
- "Leo, what are you talking about?" The youngest smiled and came down from the dummy's neck. "Also, if Mads told you it was stupid, why aren't you listening?"
- "I'd love to tell you more, but I've lost my ability to trust." The Dooley boy replied.
Ooookay. Chase frowned.
- "Check it out: Another thing left for us on the street." Adam walked in, carrying a mailbox on his shoulder.
- "Adam, that was bolted to the sidewalk! You just stole private property." The genius said loudly.
- "Oh, no, don't worry; I left the newspapers on the ground. I just wanted the box." The tall guy smiled.
It's not worth it. The hazel-eyed guy turned around.
- "I'm running out of space. I think I might put it over here." The oldest tried to walk over the taped line, to Chase's side, but he pushed him away.
- "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, you don't. This is my side." He chuckled.
- "Try and stop me." Adam put the mailbox down.
- "I will." The genius tapped a few buttons on the console. The oldest started to walk over, but as soon as he arrived at the taped line, he was electrocuted. He yelped in pain. "I set up an invisible electric fence." The youngest brothers laughed at their older brother's pain. "You went right..." He bent and was shocked by the barrier. "Yoww!" He jumped back and held himself up to the dummy.
Leo and Adam laughed, loudly.
- "Oh, no way! You were laughing so hard, you bent over like this..." The tall guy showed the movement and was shocked by the fence. "Ohhh! Okay, that's starting to hurt!"
The Dooley boy continued to laugh at his brothers' pain.
- "I would just like to say, that if Dee was here, she would laugh even louder." He stated in between laughs.
- "She would." Chase put a hand on his chest, where he was shocked.
- "Yep." The oldest sighed.
- "Nice cow." Donald said as he walked in. "Um, look, Leo, I'm really sorry I betrayed your trust. I just got really excited, 'cause we had this nice father/son moment." He apologized.
- "I got it. Fine. Let's hug it out." Leo said. The father tried to lean over Chase's side, but was zapped by the electric fence. He collapsed on the floor. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I really thought that was off!" He replied, coyly, as the bionic brothers chuckled.

The next morning, Bree was in the school hallway with Maddie.
- "So, when I woke up, Tasha was in front of my face!" The bionic girl exclaimed.
- "That's creepy." The alien girl replied as she took her books out of her locker. "I thought you were going to talk to her?" She frowned.
- "I was, but I don't want to make her sad." The Davenport girl explained. "Like your mom said, it's the first time she has a daughter. She just wants to spend time with me." She sighed and leaned against the next locker.
- "Okay. But wanting to spend time with you, and being at two inches of your face, when you wake up is different." The Matthews girl said. "You need to talk to her."
- "I know." Bree sighed. "Okay, next subject. You totally disconnected yesterday, with Chase."
- "Yeah, tell me about it." Maddie shook her head. "I didn't notice anything."
- "Love is beautiful." The bionic girl joked and wrapped her arm around her best friend's shoulders.
The alien girl snickered.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later that day, after school, Chase was setting up more tape dividers across the lab, when Adam walked in riding a horse, on the youngest's side.
- "Look what I found. Who would leave a perfectly good horse in the middle of a field?" The oldest asked, grinning.
- "Okay, you and your stolen horse need to get on your side of the lab!" The genius pointed to his left.
- "Ugh, calm down!" The tall guy came down from the horse. "We tried to take the elevator, but he couldn't press the buttons with his hoof. Poor thing didn't even know what floor we were on. He's not the brightest." He whispered.
Yeah, reminds me of someone. The hazel eyed guy, sarcastically, thought.
- "Is that horse wearing my high-tops?" He yelled.
- "Well, I wasn't gonna let him walk across town with bare feet. I mean, he's not an animal." Adam scoffed, amused.
You've got to be kidding me! Chase stormed out of the lab, furious.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Bree was in her room, when she heard someone knocking.
- "Uh, sorry, Tasha. Bree's not here. Thanks for stopping by." She replied with her fake terrible man voice.
- "Bree, it's Chase, and your lame "man voice" doesn't fool me." The latter replied. The sister opened the door and he walked in. "I cannot deal with Adam anymore. Without you, we've turned on each other. I need you to come back to the lab and be the brunt of our pranks." He begged.
- "Really? Hmm. Here's the thing: I can't leave this place. I mean, I just love it up here so much." The bionic girl lied.
- "Please, I'm begging you." The youngest pleaded.
- "Well, I guess maybe I could, as long as you promise me full privacy whenever I ask for it." The oldest replied.
- "Yeah! Like that's gonna happen." The genius scoffed and crossed his arms.
- "Hm." The Davenport girl mimicked him.
- "Huh." He grimaced at her.
Chase started to walk out.
- "Wait!" Bree ran and slammed the door in front of Chase. "I have to move back! I have less privacy now than I did before." She grabbed her brother's shoulders and started making him walk backwards. "Tasha is a smothering lunatic! She stepped inside of my capsule!" The genius gasped, in horror. "I know! Boundaries!" She yelled.
Adam walked in and leaned against the closed door.
- "That horse just ate my giant plastic chili cheese dog, and I'm afraid to see what happens next." He explained and sat on a yoga ball.
- "See what I have to deal with?" The youngest asked.
- "If you give me what I want, I can take care of that for you." The older sister said, amused.
- "Okay, fine. Privacy whenever you want it." Chase replied.
Bree, satisfied, walked to their older brother.
- "Adam, we're all moving back down to the lab. You're gonna get rid of the horse, and things are gonna go back to the way they were." She explained.
- "What?" Adam got up. "Can you believe how bossy she is?" He asked his brother.
- "I know. She's the worst." The genius scoffed. "We should probably just stick together and do whatever she says." He continued.
- "Oh, yeah! That'll show her!" The tall guy laughed and ran out.
Chase followed him, while Bree picked up her pillows.
- "Guess what, Bree?" Tasha walked in, excited. "I just read your horoscope, and it says you shouldn't be alone tonight!" She chuckled.
- "You know, actually, I'm moving back down to the lab. My brothers need me." The bionic girl replied, with a sad tone.
- "Oh. Okay." The mother said, sadly. "Well, if you change your mind, you'll always have a room, here." She smiled, softly.
- "Thanks, Tasha." The Davenport girl smiled and started to walk out. "Actually..." She turned around. "Could we have more mother/daughter nights? I mean, besides the ones, we have with Claire and Maddie."
- "Yes, of course, honey." Tasha smiled, widely.
- "But you need to respect my boundaries. You can't step inside of my capsule, anymore." Bree explained.
- "Of course!" The Davenport mother replied. "I'm sorry, if I invaded you."
- "It's okay. I love spending time with you. I never had a mom." The bionic girl said, softly. "But, I need my privacy."
- "I love spending time with you, too." The older woman opened her arms. "Come here, honey." The daughter let go of the pillows and hugged her mother. "I will respect your privacy from now on. I promise."
- "Thank you." Bree closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of safety in her mom's arms.
- "You're welcome." Tasha kissed her daughter's forehead.

Tuesday, 21st May 2013
Tasha and Donald had a called a family meeting. Their four children were sitting on the couch, waiting for the adults before them, to speak.
- "Your father and I talked." The mother started. "After, everything that happened, we came to an agreement."
- "You are not little kids, anymore. You are teenagers and I need to accept that you are growing up." The father explained. "So, you will have a bedroom upstairs."
Their eyes widened. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.
- "We'll have a room each?" Bree asked.
- "Yes." The scientist replied. "They will look like any teenagers' room, with a bed, a closet, a bathroom, a desk. Anything you want, just ask."
- "Really?" Chase asked, excited. "Anything?"
- "Yes. Don't worry, Chase. Your room will have the best technology, ever." Donald explained, excited. He cleared his voice. "But, you will still have to sleep in the lab, because your capsules will stay downstairs."
This is going to be amazing! The youngest Davenport grinned. I can't wait to show Mads!
- "You will have a bed, in your rooms. If you want to hang out with your friends or just relax, you can." Tasha continued.
- "That's so cool." Adam said.
- "You didn't understand?" Leo asked his older brother.
- "Nope." The tall guy sighed.
The three youngest siblings rolled their eyes, amused.
- "You'll continue to sleep in the lab, but you will have a bedroom upstairs." The father replied.
- "It will be yours. You can decorate and put anything you want." The mother smiled. "You will have total privacy."
The bionic siblings smiled, widely, and got up from the couch. They hugged the couple.
- "Thank you so much." The bionic girl said.
- "Thanks." The oldest replied.
- "Thank you." The genius boy answered.
Tasha and Donald smiled at each other as they hugged three of their kids.
The Dooley boy smiled, proudly, from the couch. This was his family.
- "Leo, come here." Chase opened his arm.
The short boy ran into the family hug.
I have the best family. The genius thought.
