In the meanwhile, Bree and Chase were led to the Davenport Tower, in Centium City, by their father.
- "What is with all the secrecy, Dad? Where are we?" The bionic girl asked.
- "You are on the 110th floor of Davenport Tower, the most technologically advanced skyscraper in the world." Donald explained as he put a key card in and the door opened. "And this is your new home." They walked in.
The penthouse had an open kitchen, a huge living room, stairs that led upstairs and a terrace. All the windows were giving a beautiful view of the city.
- "Woah! Check out that view!" The genius boy walked over to the window.
Mads would love it. He thought.
- "Seriously, this place is amazing." The Davenport girl said.
- "Not bad, huh? This penthouse is where I spent my years as a bachelor. Boy, if these walls could talk." The father chuckled. "Actually, they can talk." He ran over to the tablet. "Walls off! Walls off!"
- "And M must have nightmares of whatever you did here." Bree mocked.
- "It was not THAT bad." The scientist defended. "You know what? Let's go out onto the terrace. I wanna show you something." They walked out onto the balcony where a hologram 'EF' was. "This holographic emblem represents your new team, or as I like to call it, an elite force."
- "Cool. When do we get to meet the others?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.
- "Right now." Donald swiped the emblem to reveal the trio from Mighty Med posing. "I used a 3-D hologram wall. Kaz, Skylar, and Oliver have been standing there the entire time."
- "Five hours to be exact." Oliver said.
- "Let's not forget the two hours we spent rehearsing how to stand." Skylar replied.
- "Obviously we need three hours, because you're still not doing it right." The father corrected her pose.
- "Hey, Sky." The bionic girl smiled.
- "Hey, Breezy." The Calderan smiled back.
I thought she hated when she was called 'Breezy'. Chase smirked, amused.
- "It's great to see you guys!" He exclaimed, before leaning in his father's ear. "What are they doing here?"
- "Mighty Med hospital was destroyed." The Storm girl said, sadly.
- "What?" The Davenport girl frowned. "What didn't you tell me?"
- "Because it happened after Maddie disappeared, and you had already a lot going on." Skylar explained.
Mads. The genius boy held his tears.
- "This is all that's left of it." Kaz showed a picture of the destroyed hospital to the siblings.
- "Who would do something like that?" Bree asked.
- "We don't know. We lost a lot of superheroes that we cared about, and we won't rest until we find out who's responsible." The Karev boy explained.
- "They wanted to use my technology to track the criminals, but I had a better idea: to create an all-powerful team combining bionic heroes and superheroes." The scientist added. "We saw what you two could with Maddison, so imagine with three superheroes."
- "Well, where are the superheroes?" The bionic girl questioned.
- "You're looking at them." The Evers boy said.
Right. The green hazel-eyed boy raised his eyebrows.
- "Oh, yeah. Oliver and I have superpowers now." The brown-eyed boy chuckled.
- "What? You fall into a vat of radioactive waste?" Chase mocked. "Wait, no, don't tell me... bitten by a supernatural spider." He imitated Spider-man.
- "M would mock you." The Davenport girl snickered.
- "That's her passion." The genius boy smiled.
Was. He thought, but did not say it out loud to not ruin the mood.
- "Don't be ridiculous. While we were trying to stop my mother, also known as the evil villain, Mr. Terror, from becoming the most powerful being on the planet, we made indirect contact with the Arcturion Space Rock which gave us a variety of superhuman abilities." The blue-eyed boy explained.
- "Oh, a magic space rock. And was that delivered by a bunch of little green men?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked, mockingly.
- "You do know I'm from another planet, right?" The Calderan asked in his face.
- "And that M had powers from the Green Martians." Bree added.
- "I do now." Chase said.
- "You're gonna have to excuse Chase if he can't explain it with science, it doesn't exist." The bionic girl walked closer to them. "Uh, kinda like his social life or his sense of humor or his ability to have fun. Well, except with M, she was the only one he knew how to have fun with."
- "Come on, Bree. Do you really expect me to believe these two have..." The genius boy gestured at the childhood best friends. Kaz used his Pyrokinesis to make fire in his hand and fired it at the fireplace inside, lighting it. "But that...." He looked at the fireplace, then at the Karev boy. "But the human body can't... I'm watching you, FireBoy." He pointed at him.
- "So, uh, can you shoot fire too?" The Davenport girl asked Oliver.
- "No. Kaz has fire and heat powers, and I have water and ice." He replied.
- "Like the twins." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded.
- "But, we can both do this..." The Evers boy ran over to the terrace edge and jumped off.
- "Oliver, no!" Bree yelled as she ran to the terrace edge with everyone, except Kaz.
- "Well, it was a good team while it lasted." Chase patted his father on the back. The blue-eyed boy flew up, screaming. "What the...?" He moved next to the Karev boy.
- "Wow, he's pretty good." The bionic girl said.
- "Wait for it." The Storm girl interlaced their fingers together, making the Davenport girl blush brightly.
Oliver flew down and crashed into the genius boy, knocking them both onto the floor, as Bree laughed at her brother.
- "Sorry, still working on the landings." The Evers boy frowned.
- "You are gonna need a cape. It will help you for this." The green hazel-eyed boy groaned, in pain, as he got up.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes, the Elite Force walked into the living room.
- "So, how did you three manage to escape before Mighty Med was destroyed?" Chase asked.
- "We were off capturing my mom. I mean, yeah she's an evil lunatic who will spend the rest of her life in prison, but if it weren't for her, we would've been killed." Oliver explained. "So, silver lining!" He smiled.
- "You're an odd little man." Bree said from the kitchen.
- "Not the first time I've heard that." The Evers boy nodded.
- "Okay, sleeping quarters are all set." Donald walked down the stairs. "Guys on the right side, girls on the left side. Your names are your doors, and the guy who made it all possible, will be in the giant room at the end of the hall. Stay out of my pool."
- "I'm just glad I finally get to spend every day with you." The bionic girl wrapped her arms around Skylar. "I'm glad we can finally sleep in the same bed." She whispered.
- "Me too. Oh, but don't forget I'm from another planet, so sometimes I spit acid in my sleep." She warned.
- "Mm, yeah. Well, I used to sleep in the same room as my brothers, and acid is an upgrade compared to what comes out of my brothers." The Davenport girl replied.
I'm glad Mads doesn't hear that. The genius boy frowned.
- "Hey, Mr. Davenport, we gotta start searching for those guys who destroyed our friends." Kaz said. "Where's all that technology you promised us?"
- "I'm so glad you asked. Hyperlift open!" The father yelled and the Hyperlift opened up from inside the wall, separating the fireplace. "It's a voice activated secret passage!"
- "That is so awesome, and it seems like such a fire hazard!" The Karev boy exclaimed.
- "I used my Hydraloop technology to create an elevator that will take you from the penthouse to below the Earth's surface instantly." The scientist explained. "Step inside and let me show you." Everyone moved to step inside, but he stopped them. "Oh, oh, wait... me first." He ran inside.
Everyone else stepped inside the elevator.
- "Oh, FYI, I tend to get sick on any ride that has a big..." The blue-eyed boy started, but the Hyperlift went down. "DROP!"
The Hyperlift stopped and opened up on a room with two consoles and a circular cyber desk, several closed tunnels around the room. The walls were dark gray with bright blue lights on it.
- "Welcome to Mission Command." Donald said.
- "Woah!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed.
- "And just like that, we're back in the basement." Bree replied.
- "This is your team's central Nervous system. This is where you'll train, plan missions, learn how things work before you touch them." The father hit Kaz's hand away from the circular cyber desk. His phone rang and pulled it out. "Excuse me, I have a very important DavenCall to take." He walked towards the Hyperlift.
- "You can't just take it down here?" The bionic girl scoffed.
- "Well, I could, but then I wouldn't get to ride the Hyper-Lift again." The scientist ran towards the Hyperlift. "WHOO!" The Hyperlift transported him back upstairs.
- "Okay, I'm just gonna say it, I'm very uncomfortable with that guy heading up this operation." The Calderan said.
Can't blame her. Chase nodded.
- "All right, let's head out and start searching for the low lives who destroyed Mighty Med." The Karev boy added.
- "But we don't even know where to look." Oliver frowned.
- "Oh, we have to look somewhere. We'll go city by city, starting here. You guys take Uptown." The brown-eyed boy pointed at the siblings. "We'll take Downtown." He pointed to himself and his best friends.
- "Woah, woah, woah..." The genius boy got up and walked towards him. " We don't just go randomly looking for people. We have to devise a plan first."
- "I just did. Uptown, Downtown... and I don't really know any other parts of town so... plan commenced!" Kaz exclaimed and started to walk away.
The green hazel-eyed boy grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A couple of minutes later, the boys were around the Cyber Desk while the girls were laughing further away.
Chase, quickly, glanced at them. I am so happy for Bree. She finally found someone that is worthy of her.
- "Okay, the Cyber Desk is compiling a database of all the superheroes at the hospital someone might have had a grudge against." He walked over to the console, next to his sister. "In the meantime, I still need to know more about you guys."
- "Well I'm 5' 10, I'm a hearty mix of Irish and German' and I've been known to lie about my height." Kaz replied.
The genius boy rolled his eyes. Okay. This is gonna be fun working with him.
- "I meant, what other magical powers do you have?" He asked, mockingly.
- "Oh, uh, I have super strength." Oliver smiled.
The siblings snickered.
- "You?" Bree scoffed.
- "Yes, me. Why does everyone act so surprised when I say that?" The Evers boy questioned.
- "Because we can see your rib cage through your shirt." Skylar replied.
The bionic girl chuckled, and the blue-eyed boy covered his rib cage with his arms, looking away.
- "Guys, get up here." Donald said via the intercom. "There's something strange going on."
The Elite Force walked into the Hyperlift and headed upstairs.
- "Woah, that is strange." The Calderan pointed at a painting of the father surround by money.
- "Not that! Outside!" The scientist exclaimed. "Something flew by the window."
- "Well, I know something that's gonna fly out the window." The Davenport girl walked towards the painting as everyone else ran towards the windows.
- "No, I'm serious. There is something out there!" Donald replied.
Bree turned towards the window and the green hazel-eyed boy was looking out the window.
- "Get down!" He yelled.
The glass smashed into millions of pieces as father and daughter ran into the Hyperlift, Skylar hid behind the kitchen counter, Kaz jumped over the couch, Oliver jumped onto the floor and Chase flipped over the couch.
- "Is everybody okay?" The father asked.
Everyone got up and took the glass off them.
- "Yeah." The Calderan replied. "Look, there's something on the floor." She walked towards it.
- "Yeah, about 36 thousand dollars worth of glass." The scientist said.
- "No... it's some sort of gift box." The Evers boy picked up a black box and started to open it.
- "Stop. Dude." The Karev boy ran towards him and took the box. "What are you doing? You gotta open the card first."
Idiots. The genius boy snatched the box out of his hand.
- "No!" He yelled. "Don't open anything. It could be rigged to blow this place apart. I'll use my bionic eye to scan it." He put two fingers on his temple and scanned the box. "It's a flash drive. I can download its content onto my internal hard drive and play it back for everyone in Mission Command."
- "Who would blast our penthouse just to toss a flash drive in the window?" Bree asked.
- "That's why you gotta open the card first." The brown-eyed boy said.
The green hazel-eyed boy closed his eyes, in despair.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, everybody was down in Mission Command. Chase transferred the content of the flash drive onto the Cyber Desk while everyone watched.
- "It's a video message." Donald frowned.
The genius boy swiped the video message up onto the screen across the room. Two masked figures appeared on the screen.
- "Destroying your little hospital was just the beginning." One of the people said. "We're on the hunt for every superhero that remains, and soon they will all be extinct.
- "And once you've watched us eliminate them, we're coming for you, Oliver, Kaz and Skylar, and anyone else dumb enough to protect you." The second person continued.
The green hazel-eyed boy crossed his arms. Who the heck are they?
The video message stopped.
- "Who was that? And don't say check the card first." Oliver told his childhood best friend.
- "Whoever it was, it's obvious they've been watching us." The father replied. "I'm gonna go activate the penthouse security perimeter and get those windows replaced." He walked out of the room.
- "See! This is exactly why I wanted to go out and find them first!" Kaz yelled.
- "As soon as we finalize a plan..." Chase started.
- "Okay, forget your plan!" The Karev boy replied. "If we don't stop them, they're gonna take out every last superhero, including us!"
- "Well, they're gonna take us out a lot faster if we go into this thing unprepared!" The genius boy shouted. "Look, I wanna find them too. But, we have to be smart about this. We have no idea what we're up against."
- "He's right, Kaz. We have to be careful." Bree said.
- "Skylar. Back me up on this." The brown-eyed boy turned to his best friend.
- "We'll get them, it's just gonna take some time." Skylar nodded.
- "Oliver?" Kaz turned to Oliver, who shook his head slightly and did not answer. "Oh, come on. Not you too, dude, we have to do this. For Mighty Med!"
- "I know." He replied. "I just... I think we should play it safe."
- "Safe? None of us are safe with those two on the loose!" The Karev boy yelled. "You know, I never thought being part of an Elite Force would mean sitting around doing nothing!" He stormed out of the room towards the Hyperlift.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Chase was in the kitchen, drinking tea, when Bree walked towards him.
- "Hey, what are you doing up?" She asked.
- "I could ask you the same thing." The genius boy replied.
- "Nightmare?" The bionic girl sat next to him and served herself tea.
- "I didn't even try to go to sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I see Mads screaming when the wormhole aspired her." The green hazel-eyed boy sighed as he played with his bracelet.
- "Chase..." The Davenport girl frowned, sadly.
- "I miss her so much, Bree." Chase sighed.
- "I know." Bree wrapped her arms around his shoulders as she leaned her head on his shoulder and side-hugged him. "I miss her too."
- "It's weird to not have her around." The genius boy added as he caressed the arm around his shoulders in front of him.
- "I know. I feel like I'm missing something." The bionic girl said.
- "I feel like I'm missing a part of me." The green hazel-eyed boy wiped his eyes.
- "I'm sorry." The Davenport girl hugged him tighter. "I know how much you love her."
- "It physically hurts." Chase replied. "I never had time to tell her. And we are so close to kiss. And once we kissed, I was going to tell her that I'm in love with her."
- "I don't know if I should tell you that." Bree said.
- "Tell me what?" The genius boy frowned.
- "I don't know if it's gonna help you or hurt you more." The bionic girl whispered to herself.
- "What are you talking about?" The green hazel-eyed boy pulled away from her to look at her eyes.
- "She was in love with you too." The Davenport girl said.
- "She was?" Chase's eyes watered. "It wasn't just physical, Mads loved me?"
- "Yes." Bree nodded.
- "I've loved her since we met, even if it took me years to realize it." The genius boy replied. "Since when was she in love with me?"
- "Since our first weekend together, before our first official school day, she started to have a crush on you. And the more time, you spend together, the more she fell for you." The bionic girl explained. "But she never said anything because she didn't want to lose you."
- "So, we missed our chance to be together?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked as a single tear ran down his cheek.
- "No, you didn't." The Davenport girl wiped his tear. "You, guys, are meant to be. I know it, everybody knows it. It's a matter of time before you find your way back to each other and finish your lives together, making all of us wish you would stop being so cheesy." She smiled.
Chase chuckled.
- "I'm gonna find her." He said.
- "I have no doubt." Bree nodded.
- "And when I do, like Adam said, I'm gonna kiss her until my lips fall off." The genius boy added.
- "That's a good plan." The bionic girl snickered.
- "Thank you for telling me." The green hazel-eyed boy smiled softly.
- "You're welcome." The Davenport girl smiled. "But when we see Maddie again, pretend I never said that, because I don't want to die."
- "Okay." Chase chuckled.
- "Hey, what are you guys still doing up?" Donald walked towards his children.
He kissed the top of their heads.
- "I couldn't sleep." The genius boy said.
- "I don't know. I guess I'm not really used to sleeping in a new place." Bree replied. "Plus, Skylar snores."
- "Every room is soundproof." The father frowned.
- "She's in my bed." The bionic girl replied, blushing.
The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.
- "Well, I'm sorry, princess." The scientist snickered. "I'll find something to try to stop her snoring."
- "Thanks, dad." The Davenport girl nodded.
- "Mr. Davenport." Oliver ran downstairs, in his pajamas. "I can't find Kaz. I thought he was in his bed, snoring, but it turned out to be Skylar down the hall."
- "Seriously?" Chase frowned.
- "You know, I bet he went off to find those guys on his own." Bree got up. "I'll use my super speed to bring him back."
- "I'll come with you." The genius boy got up, sighing.
- "Oliver, go wake Skylar." Donald ordered, and the Evers boy ran upstairs. He turned to his children. "If you two are not back with Kaz in two minutes, I'm gonna have them track you on your GPS locator."
- "Please, two minutes." The bionic girl scoffed. "With my upgraded speed, I can search the entire city in less than thirty seconds."
- "Oh, I'm so fast." The father mocked. "Well then go!"
- "Okay." The Davenport girl grabbed her brother and super speeded out of the penthouse.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, Kaz was walking in a dark alley.
- "Okay, if I can find the costume shop that sold those guys their masks, maybe I can track them down." He searched on his phone. "Eighty-six costume shops in one city? What are you people trying to hide?" He yelled as the two masked people appeared in front of him. "Ah! I mean..." He cleared his throat. "Aha, I found you!" The two masked people took off their masks and hoods. "Wait. I know you guys. You're Roman and Riker. Your dad is the superhero Rodissius."
- "Was a superhero. Until you got your hands on him at Mighty Med." Roman replied.
He was 5'8, had long dark brown hair tied into a low ponytail, and had dark brown eyes.
- "What are you talking about?" The Karev boy frowned. "We saved his life."
- "You took away his powers." Riker said.
He was 5'8, had short dark brown hair, except the top which was longer to be tied into a mini bun, and he had dark brown eyes.
- "We had no choice. Sacrificing his powers was the only way to keep him alive." The ex-doctor explained.
- "You took away the only thing that made him special, and forced him to live his life as a mortal. That's a punishment far worse than death." The older brother replied.
- "That's a warped way of looking at that, but all right." Kaz said.
- "Our father may not have the power to take revenge, but we do." Roman continued.
The two Davenport siblings super speeded next to their friend.
- "There you are." Bree said.
- "Why did you run off?" Chase frowned.
- "These are the guys who destroyed Mighty Med." The Karev boy explained.
- "Great, now, we don't know what we are up against." The genius boy rolled his eyes.
- "Okay, guys, you can go. I got this." The ex-doctor said. The two brothers grabbed each other's arms and transformed into a black cloud. "You know, on second thought, guys, would you mind sticking around?"
- "Now you see why it's a bad idea to run off without a plan?" The bionic girl asked.
- "In hindsight, probably not my best decision." Kaz replied.
- "You think?" The green hazel-eyed boy sassed. Oliver and Skylar ran into the alley and stand beside the trio. "What is that anyway?"
- "Meet the guys who destroyed Mighty Med." The Karev boy said to the others. "They're shape-shifters."
- "Oh, okay." Chase nodded. "What the heck are shape-shifters?!" He shouted.
- "They can morph into anything. A person, a thing, a deadly black cloud." The Calderan explained. "Get down!"
The cloud shot over the Elite Force, but they all ducked to the ground, avoiding it.
After they stood up, Kaz ran towards the cloud and attacked it with his Pyrokinesis, before taking a step back.
- "Chase would be a great time for one of your plans." He said.
- "Oh, now you want a plan?" The genius boy walked next to him. "If you had followed my plan in the first place, we wouldn't even be in this mess!"
- "I didn't ask you guys to show up." The Karev boy shrugged.
- "I didn't want to show up!" The green hazel-eyed boy replied. "But you didn't give use much of a choice, we are a team!"
- "I was sleeping!" The Storm girl added.
- "We know!" Bree and Oliver, simultaneously, yelled.
The four started to argue all at once as the bionic girl looked around.
- "Hey!" She shouted, making everyone stop and turn to face her. "Where'd they go?"
The five separated and started to looking around the alley.
- "I can still hear them." Skylar said.
Chase frowned and looked up.
- "Uh... guys?" He pointed above them.
The cloud shot down on the Elite Force, knocking them all across the alley.
They all passed out.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Sunday, 24th April 2016
A few minutes later, after midnight, they all slowly woke up and groaned, in pain, as they sat up.
- "Is everybody okay?" Chase asked.
- "I think so. Did we win?" Kaz frowned.
They all stood up. Bree started to look around, but Skylar was nowhere to be found.
- "Wait, where's Skylar?" She questioned.
Crap. The genius boy thought.
- "Skylar!" Oliver yelled.
- "They took her." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
A few seconds later, Bree had super speeded everyone to Mission Command.
- "I can't believe you let them take Skylar!" Donald yelled. "All because you couldn't work together as a team!"
- "It's not my fault!" Chase frowned. "He's the one who took off on his own!" He pointed to Kaz.
- "It doesn't matter! You're a leader, it's your responsibility to look out for them!" The father replied.
Of course, it's my fault. It always is. The genius boy thought.
- "No, no, Chase is right. I let my emotions get the best of me." The Karev boy defended, before turning to the green hazel-eyed boy. "From now on, we work together instead of against each other." He held up his fist.
Chase hesitated, before fist-bumping him.
- "Good." The scientist nodded. "Now, how do we find Skylar?"
- "Without a way to track her, it's almost impossible. They could've taken her anywhere." The genius boy explained.
Everyone moved to stand around the Cyber Desk.
- "Whatever we do, we have to move fast. Without her powers, she doesn't stand a chance against those guys." Bree said.
- "Mads said that Skylar was a badass and could handle herself against anyone, even without powers." The green hazel-eyed boy replied, before putting a hand on his sister's shoulder. "I'm sure she's fine."
- "Let's check the video again. Maybe we missed something." Oliver ran over to the screen.
- "Don't bother. I scoured every frame of that video. There's nothing there that can help us." Chase walked towards him.
- "Not even this faded number on the sign behind them?" The Evers boy asked.
The genius boy, nervously, laughed.
- "Oh, come on! What? Do you have some mystical superpower that allows you to see that?" He frowned.
- "Yeah, it's called eye-sight." The blue-eyed boy sassed.
- "Hey, wait. There's more to it, but it's covered with dirt." The bionic girl said.
- "If I do a spectral isolation scan, I can contrast the elements to see what's under there." The green hazel-eyed boy touched his temple to scan the image. "It's the subway station at 128th street."
- "There is no subway station at 128th street." Donald frowned. "I mean, there was one 40 years ago when I was ... 10 years from being born."
Chase scoffed. Right.
- "But the city abandoned it after a really bad flood." The father continued.
- "Wait, shape-shifters naturally dwell in dark cavernous spaces. That must be where they're keeping Skylar." The brown-eyed boy said.
- "Let's go." The genius boy nodded.
The four teenagers began to walk out of the room.
- "I'll send the directions to your chip. You can still get there through an old underground tunnel. I used to play there 40 years ago when I was..." The scientist paused. "You know what, I'll send you the directions."
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, the two shape-shifters brothers walked through the old subway station where Skylar was locked in a cell.
- "Well, well, well. Skylar Storm!" Riker exclaimed. "Looks like you lost this battle."
- "You won't get away with this. My team will find me." The Calderan said.
- "I'm sure they will. But it will be too late for you. By the time they get here, we'll be onto our next superhero. And the next and the next until all of you are destroyed." Roman explained.
- "Yeah, if we can actually find them." The younger brother tried to walk past to his brother.
- "Hey!" The older brother shouted and grabbed his brother. "We'll find them. Because she's gonna tell us exactly where they are." He walked towards his prisoner.
- "Get away from her!" Bree yelled.
The rest of the Elite Force arrived.
- "Hey, look who it is!" Roman exclaimed.
- "You just made the biggest mistake of your lives." Riker said.
- "Let's do this." The older brother continued.
The two brothers walked further into the station.
- "Oliver, use your strength to free Skylar." Chase ordered.
Oliver ran over and used his super strength to rip the door off Skylar's cell and threw it behind him.
The Calderan stepped out of her cell and looked at her best friend, in shock.
- "Stop looking so surprised!" He yelled.
The brothers morphed back into the black cloud, as the duo ran back to the others.
- "Oh great, they're doing their dust bunny thing again." Kaz complained.
The cloud surrounded the Elite Force and dragged them into the middle of the station, locking them in their black cloud.
- "They're creating a Ring of Centrifugal Force around us!" The genius boy yelled.
- "Guys, if we don't do something fast, the force will crush us!" The bionic girl added.
- "Wait! If shape-shifters change their form by manipulating their molecular structures..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.
- "Then there has to be a way to freeze the molecules and stop the swarm!" The Karev boy continued. "That's it! Oliver has ice powers! Oliver, use your CyroBlast!"
- "Right!" The blue-eyed boy used his CyroBlast and started to freeze the swarm.
- "Keep going!" The Davenport girl yelled.
Oliver managed to freeze the swarm, and it dropped to their feet, freeing them. They all jumped out of the now frozen ring.
- "Itworked! It's frozen solid!" He smiled.
- "We actually did it, good job guys!" Bree smiled widely and hugged Skylar. "I'm so glad you are okay."
The Calderan wrapped her arms around her waist.
- "Dude, that was a great idea to mess with their molecular structures." The brown-eyed boy said.
- "Hey, it was your idea to freeze the molecules." Chase replied.
- "Yeah, but I mean you're the one..." Kaz started.
The bionic girl broke the hug.
- "Okay, okay, we get it. We're a team, okay!" She said. "Wait, guys, come on, get together. Our first victory selfie."
She pulled out her phone, and they all posed for a selfie.
Behind them, the brothers broke out of the ring of ice and drifted out of the old subway station.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, at the penthouse, everyone sat, except Kaz, in the living room with Donald.
- "They got away?!" He yelled.
- "Yes, but this time it was because we were too good of a team." Chase said.
- "Oh, on the bright side, we have a very cute selfie." Bree pulled out his phone. "That captured the exact moment they escaped." She showed the selfie to her father, who frowned.
- "Oh, that is a good one. You can't even see my ribs." Oliver smiled.
- "We've gotta warn the rest of the superheroes and let them know they're being hunted." The Karev boy added.
- "The good news is Roman and Riker don't even know where they are, so we should be able to alert them first." Skylar continued.
- "Good, but it's still gonna take some time. We got a lot of work ahead of us." The genius boy said. "Let's get some sleep."
Everyone, but the siblings, began to walk upstairs.
- "Chase." The bionic girl stopped him. "Are you okay?"
- "Yeah." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded. "Don't worry about me. Go with your girlfriend."
- "She is not my girlfriend." The Davenport girl blushed brightly.
- "Yet." Chase smirked.
- "Shut up." Bree walked upstairs.
The genius boy chuckled.
- "Lights out." He said, before walking upstairs to his room.
The lights in the penthouse went out.
The green hazel-eyed boy walked into his new room and undressed, leaving only his brief boxers on.
He laid under his sheets and held Maddie's necklace still around his neck closely to his heart as he drifted off to sleep.
