Two weeks later, after Claire's birthday, the childhood best friends were in the lab.
- "So, it's ready?" Maddie asked.
- "Yep." Leo nodded. "Now, I just need a victim."
Adam walked in.
- "Like him?" The alien girl whispered to the short boy, who nodded.
- "Hey, Adam." He said. "Attack me."
- "Oh, no, no, no." The tall guy shook his head. "I know how this works. First, you tell me to attack you, I say 'no' and then, you taunt me till I snap. It's not gonna happen." Leo threw a water bottle at his brother's chest. "Oh, it's on, little man!" Two floating orbs appeared behind the short boy and fired a laser at Adam. "Oh, no! The Christmas ornaments are turning against us!" He groaned, on the floor.
The Matthews girl laughed.
The eldest, quickly, got up and the orbs went away.
- "Nope, you just got pulse-waved by my latest invention, Attack Orbs." The younger brother explained.
- "Huh?" Adam frowned.
- "When they perceive a threat within five feet of me, they attack." Leo replied. "They're mobile robotic bodyguards."
- "Uh, impressive. But have you ever thought about just lifting weights or working out?" The tall guy asked.
- "I designed them to protect you guys from Douglas and Krane when Dee isn't with you." The short boy explained. "If I'm going to be a true inventor, I have to start making things without Big D. And if I prove myself, maybe he'll eventually let me be his business partner."
- "Right, 'cause every billionaire needs an incompetent relative who brings nothing to the table." Eddy said.
- "Hey, guys." Chase walked in.
- "Speaking of..." The eldest smiled.
Maddie slapped him upside the head.
- "What did you say, Adam?" The genius boy chuckled.
- "Nothing. Chase, why are you attacking Leo?" Adam asked.
- "What?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned. The tall guy pushed him in front of Leo, and the attack orbs reappeared. "Aah!" He screamed, before the attack orbs fired at him, causing him to fall to the floor.
Chase propped himself on his elbow, exhaled and looked up at the alien girl, who was biting her lips. She's trying so hard not to laugh.
And my mind went dirty. The Matthews girl thought.
- "Awesome!" The eldest chuckled and high-fived the short boy, causing the orbs to fire at him, spending him to the floor, next to his brother.
- "Karma." Maddie laughed.
- "Do it again!" Adam exclaimed on the floor. Leo shook his head and walked away. The tall guy, quickly, got up. "Do it again!" He followed his brother.
The alien girl extended her hand to her best friend, who took it to get up.
- "You were trying so hard not to laugh." The genius boy snickered.
- "What?" The Matthews girl frowned.
- "I saw you biting your lips." The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.
That's not why I was biting my lips. Maddie thought.
- "Oops." She chuckled.
- "I'm surprise you didn't kick Adam's butt." Chase said.
- "The orbs got to him before I did." The alien girl shrugged.
- "He must be grateful." The bionic boy snickered.
- "Probably." The Matthews girl smiled.
- "What do you want to do?" The Davenport boy asked.
- "I don't know." The blue-eyed girl shrugged.
I wanna kiss you. She thought.
- "That's helpful." The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.
- "I just wanna hang out with you. I don't care what we do." Maddie said.
Chase blushed brightly. She is so sweet.
- "Alrighty then." He smiled. "I was going to work on a project."
- "Okay." The alien girl sat down.
- "You're staying?" The bionic boy frowned.
- "Yeah. I like watching you work." The Matthews girl replied.
I love that you like it. The Davenport boy blushed, slightly.
- "Beside, you love geeking out." The blue-eyed girl snickered.
- "Here we go." The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes. "I don't geek out."
- "Yes, you do." Maddie nodded. "And I love it."
Chase smiled widely.

The next day, at Tech Town, Scott walked towards the younger bionic siblings.
- Well, if it isn't my employee of the week and my weak employee." He pointed at Chase, before pointing at his sister as he laughed.
- "Good one, Scott. It's funny because she's bad at her job. Ha!" The genius boy laughed.
- "Yeah, well, I mean, I'd be better at it, but I have things that get in the way, like friends and a life." Bree replied.
- "I have Mads." The green hazel-eyed boy said.
- "Yeah, and that's it." The bionic girl mocked.
- "Listen up, guys. It's time for Tech Town's annual design-your-own-app contest!" The manager exclaimed.
- "Does the fun ever end around here?" The Davenport girl, sarcastically, asked.
- "Yeah, usually when you show up." Scott laughed and Chase tried to copy his laugh. "Don't do my laugh. All entrants have 24 hours to upload their app to our website. Whoever has the most downloads by Friday wins a $500 gift card." He put his foot on the counter and took out the gift car out of his sock. "And apply yourselves this year, I am so sick of winning."
- "Don't you worry, Scott. I'm definitely going to app-ply myself!" The genius boy smiled.
- "Uh, no more tech puns. A lady complained to corporate." The manager said.
- "That was me." Bree chuckled.
- "Chase, no offense, but you're clearly out of your league. You're never gonna outshine the master." Scott pointed at himself.
- "The master?" The green hazel-eyed boy snorted. "You clearly have no idea who you're dealing with."
- "Ah, how could you turn on me like this? I was your idol." The manager frowned.
- "Yeah. Well, now, you're my competition." Chase replied.
- "Sounds like you're challenging me. And no one challenges me." Scott put his hands on his hips and the genius boy mimicked him. "Except my mom. She's my ride."
Aren't you a little old? The genius boy frowned.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, at Tech Town, Bree, and the others were huddled in a group, playing a game on their phones.
- "Bree, what's going on?" Chase asked.
- "Scott unveiled his app early. It's a game called Cavity Crushers." Bree explained. "Super addictive. You're saving the world by smashing evil candy."
- "Uh, the candy's not evil. It's just misunderstood." Scott replied.
- "Who would ever want to play that stupid game?" The genius boy frowned.
The group of people started cheering.
- "Apparently everybody." The bionic girl said.
- "Behold, my app, Structure Scan." The green hazel-eyed stepped on a counter. "You can scan any item, and it lists the elemental makeup of its molecular structure. Eh?" He scanned a pen." This pen is 30% ink, 64% polymer, and 6% steel! Come on, people, how fun is that?" He smiled.
The manager mimed yawning.
- "Attention, Cavity Crushers. I just unlocked a new level. Follow me. We're going to Lollipop Lane. Hoo-aah!" He kicked the air and walked away.
- "I don't get it." Chase frowned.
- "Of course, you don't. See, these people are having what we call fun." The Davenport girl mocked.
- "Well, structure scans can be fun." The genius boy replied.
Mads says I'm fun. He smiled.
- "Oh, sure they can." Scott mimed scanning Chase. "Oh, look. 100% loser."
Everyone laughed.
I'm not a loser. The genius boy frowned, sadly.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, that evening, Tasha and Maddie were sitting on the couch, listening to Adam rehearsing for his play.
- "Ma'am, you're standing in it." He clicked his tongue. "No, wait. You're standing IN it. You're standing in IT!" The girls nodded. "What do you think? Did you feel like you were standing in it?"
- "All 76 times." The mother smiled.
- "Yes, all 142 times." The alien girl replied.
- "Honey, you're gonna be fine. It's just one line." The journalist said.
The tall guy gasped loudly.
- "The most important one line of the whole play. Without me, she never finds Mission Creek. It's the entire emotional thrust of the second act, mom." He frowned.
The Matthews girl snickered.
- "He's right, Tasha." She smiled.
- "Thank you, little lady. At least, one of you understand." Adam scoffed.
Tasha shook her head, in despair.
- "Hello." Donald walked in.
- "Donald, don't forget the school play is tomorrow night." The mother said.
- "Goodbye." The father turned around.
- "You're going!" The journalist yelled.
- "Ah, come on. Shouldn't we be discouraging his acting career?" The scientist pointed at his son rehearsing his line with his best friend, again.
- "That's perfect, Adam." Maddie said.
Chase walked in.
Thank God. The alien girl thought.
- "Okay, guys, prepared to be wowed! My new app: Dirt Alert! It tells you the precise type of rock or soil that's beneath you and how long it's been there." The genius boy explained. "You want to try?"
- "Oh, I can't. I got to go pretend to care about his play." Donald said at the same time as his wife.
- "Oh, uh, dinner needs to be made." Tasha added.
The green hazel-eyed frowned. Am I that boring? He walked away to his bedroom.
The Matthews girl followed him.
- "Hey." She put a hand on his shoulder.
- "Do you think I'm boring?" Chase asked as he opened the door.
- "What? No!" Maddie replied as she walked in.
- "You're probably the only person, who doesn't think I'm boring." The bionic boy sighed and looked at the floor as he closed the door.
- "People are stupid. It's not new, and it won't change." The alien girl shrugged as she sat at the end of his bed.
The Davenport boy smiled, softly.
- "Not everyone is stupid." He said.
- "Yes, they are." The Matthews girl nodded.
The green hazel-eyed boy snickered.
The blue-eyed girl walked up to him.
- "Chase, you're not boring." She put the fingers of her right hand under his chin and raised his head to make him look at her.
Chase looked at her ocean eyes and only focused on what her touch on his face was making him feel. I love when she touches me.
- "You just have different interest because of your super intelligence." Maddie continued.
- "So, you don't think that I'm boring? Not even a little?" The bionic boy asked.
- "Not even a little." The alien girl shook her head. "I love when you rant about the subjects you love. One: It's very interesting, and you teach me things, and 2: I love the little sparkle in your eyes when you do it."
- "I have a little sparkle in my eyes?" The Davenport boy snickered.
- "Yes, every time you rant about something." The Matthews girl nodded. "Mostly, when it's science. It's very cute."
- "Thanks." The green hazel-eyed boy blushed, slightly.
- "You're welcome." The blue-eyed girl, gently, caressed his jaw.
Chase closed his eyes and just enjoyed her touch.
Pretty boy. Maddie smiled and leaned towards his face to place a kiss on his right cheek.
The bionic boy sighed. Why does it feel better and better every time?
The alien girl wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down.
The Davenport boy wrapped his arms around her waist as he snuggled his face undo the curve of her neck.
- "You are everything but boring." The Matthews girl whispered in his ear.
She has no idea how much that makes me feel better. The green hazel-eyed boy breathed her scent in. My favorite scent.
The blue-eyed girl pulled away, and her hands went to his cheeks, caressing him, lightly.
Chase looked down at her and smiled.
Maddie got on her tiptoes and pulled his face down to press her lips on his forehead. I love you.
The bionic boy smiled widely as he wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her closer.
Their chests against one another, their hearts beating in sync, the two geniuses stayed like this, enjoying the embrace.

Friday, 11th April 2014
The next morning, Maddie woke up with a strong pair of arms around her body. She opened her eyes and saw three beauty marks in front of her.
I wanna kiss them so bad. She sighed as she ran her hand left and right on her sleeping best friend's chest.
Chase's eyes remained closed as he just enjoyed her touch. I could pretend to sleep to feel her do that, all the time.
The alien girl frowned as she listened to his breathing quickening. He's not sleeping, anymore. He's faking. She smiled as she continued to run her hand on his chest.
Butterflies grew in the bionic boy's stomach as she ran her fingertips across the top of his abs. Go lower. Put completely your freaking hand lower!
The Matthews girl traced the curves of his toned chest.
The Davenport boy blushed brightly as his smile grew from ear to ear.
The blue-eyed girl dropped her hand to his side and started, merciless, tickling him.
The green hazel-eyed boy laughed loudly.
- "I knew it! You weren't sleeping!" Maddie sat up and tickled both of his sides.
- "Okay! You got me! Stop it!" Chase pleaded.
- "Or what?" The alien girl raised her eyebrows.
- "Or..." The bionic boy grabbed her wrists and switched their positions as he sat on her thighs. "Who's laughing, now?" He smirked.
The Matthews girl gulped, before smiling.
- "Still me." She brought her hands to his sides and started tickling him again.
- "Nuh-uh." The Davenport boy pinned her wrists above her head. "It's my turn." He held both of her wrists with one hand as his free hand tickled her sides.
The blue-eyed girl wiggled under his body.
- "I like seeing you wiggle underneath me." The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.
- "Using my sentence against me, well done." Maddie chuckled.
- "Thank you." Chase bowed.
- "Okay, can you let me go, now?" The alien girl looked at her pinned wrists.
- "Right, sorry." The bionic boy chuckled as he, slightly, blushed. His hands raised on his lap as he noticed that he was still sitting on his best friend's thighs. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry, Mads!" He, quickly, got up and started pacing around his room. "I wasn't thinking! I was just trying to get back at you. I can't believe I did that." He put his face in his hands.
The Matthews girl snickered.
The Davenport boy looked at her through his fingers.
- "Chase, relax." The blue-eyed girl walked up to him. "We both know that if I was upset about you sitting on me, I would've told you and make you move with my super strength."
- "You're upset?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.
- "Nope." Maddie pulled his hands away from his face.
Stop hiding your angelic face. She thought.
- "Okay." Chase exhaled.
- "You're too nervous about nothing." The alien girl smiled.
I want it to happen more. She thought.
I was sitting on her, and she calls that nothing? The bionic boy frowned.
- "Right. It was nothing." He sighed.
- "Anyway, I better go get ready." The Matthews girl said.
- "Right. See you later." The Davenport boy nodded.
See you later, pretty boy. The blue-eyed girl smiled and walked out of his room, closing the door behind herself.
- "I can't believe I sat on her!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed. "I sat on her thighs, and she calls it 'nothing'? How is that nothing?!" He sighed and flopped on his bed. "Dang it."
Why did it felt so good? He blushed.

In the evening, at Tech Town, Scott was putting his picture in the 'app contest winner' frame.
- "Ten minutes left to enter, and mine is the most downloaded app by far." He said. "Aw, am I really gonna win again? Okay, guess I am. Victory lap!" He started running.
- "No!" Bree stopped him. "Please don't run. It's just awkward for all of us."
- "Girls." The manager took off running.
- "Hold it, Scott." Chase walked in and stopped him from running. "Hello, everybody, I'm back." Everyone groaned. "No, no, no. I have a new app." Everyone groaned again. "Say hello to your new BFF, Cheddy. The virtual assistant who does everything." He showed his screen. Cheddy was in reality Eddy with a mustache and a bow-tie. "Hello, Cheddy. What's going on tonight?"
- "Good evening, Chase." Cheddy said. "I've ordered your favorite pizza, got you VIP concert tickets, and completed all current homework assignments. Is there anything else, sir?"
- "That'll be all, Cheddy. He's available for downloading now." The genius boy replied.
Everyone rushed to download Cheddy.
- "Chase, what do you think you're doing?" The bionic girl pulled her brother aside. "That is Dad's technology."
- "No, he created Eddy. This is Cheddy." The green hazel-eyed boy corrected.
- "I don't ch-care, you ch-stole his ch-idea." The Davenport girl mocked.
- "Cheddy is the original version of Eddy, which was actually a very helpful program. It took him years to turn into the complete jerk we all know and loathe." Chase explained.
- "It is still Eddy." Bree said.
- "You're not listening, it's Cheddy!" The genius boy exclaimed in her face.
The bionic girl frowned as she wiped her face.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, Tasha and Maddie walked in the lab.
- "Leo, you ready to go to the play?" The mother asked. Leo was with the attack orbs in two of the capsules. "Why are those still here? I thought I told you to get rid of them yesterday."
- "Yes, but I ran into a little problem." The short boy replied.
- "Shocking." The alien girl sassed.
- "What's the problem?" The journalist frowned.
- "I can't turn them off." The Davenport boy said.
- "Great." The Matthews girl, sarcastically, smiled.
- "What? That's it, I'm calling Donald." Tasha started to walk out.
- "No! I need to show him I can do things on my own." Leo replied. "Don't worry, I will figure something out after the play."
- "You better. I can't handle any more disasters." The mother answered.
- "You do realize we're going to see a play with Adam in it, right?" The short boy asked.
- "I'm scared to go." Maddie sighed.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, at Tech Town, the Cheddy app was winning by far.
- "Ha! My app is outselling Scott's ten to one." Chase smirked. "How does it feel to be related to the guy who's gonna win?"
- "As embarrassing as ever." Bree smiled. "What are you so proud of? It's Dad's creation."
- "Bree, people in the tech world borrow ideas from one another all the time. I doubt he'd even care." The genius boy crossed his arms.
- "Well, there he is. Why do you go ask him?" The bionic girl waved to her father, who walked in.
- "Uh!" The green hazel-eyed boy jumped, in fear. "Dad? What are you doing here?"
- "You're not gonna believe this, but someone stole Eddy and is selling him as Cheddy on the Tech Town website." Donald explained.
- "Whaaaat? That's terrible." Chase replied, with a high-pitched voice.
- "I know, it's terrible." The scientist answered with the same voice.
- "You should go home and rest, I'll call the app police." The genius boy patted his father's chest.
- "Oh, no, no. I'm not leaving until I find out who did it." Donald sat on one of the counters. "You know what? Perhaps I should speak to a manager!"
- "Oh, no. There's no..." The green hazel-eyed boy started.
- "I'll get him!" Bree yelled and brought Scott to him.
Thanks a lot, Bree! The youngest Davenport thought.
- "May I help... Oh, it's you." The manager frowned.
- "Mm-hmm, it's me and I have a problem with Cheddy." The scientist said.
- "Oh, hear that, Chase? He has a problem with your Cheddy app." Scott laughed. "I'll let you handle this one. Hoo-ah!" He kicked the air and walked away.
- "Chase, I am really disappointed in you. You stole Eddy." Donald replied.
- "Oh, no, Dad, you're not listening. It's Cheddy." The bionic girl mocked.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
At the school, Janelle was on stage while the childhood best friends and the mother were in the audience.
- "My goodness, this harrowing journey has cost us dearly, but we have to keep searching." The Dawson girl said. "We shall dump our dead relatives at the next trading post."
Leo started snoring, Tasha nudged him awake and he jumped up.
- "Go smallpox!" He yelled. "Come on, people, got to get your hips into it."
Maddie pulled her best friend down as Adam walked on stage riding a hobbyhorse.
- "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" He exclaimed as he faked losing control of the hobbyhorse.
- "Ooh, this it is. Adam's big line." The journalist whispered.
- "Excuse me, good sir, I'm on a mission to find a creek." Janelle said. "Pray tell, have you seen one?"
The tall guy started to deliver his line, but then stopped.
- "Line!" He yelled.
The alien girl slapped her forehead.
- "Ma'am, you're standing in it!" Tasha whisper-yelled from the audience.
- "Quiet, mom, I'm trying to do a play!" The eldest son exclaimed.
- "That's the line!" The Matthews girl murmured.
- "Maddison, shush!" Adam yelled.
- "I give up." Maddie whispered.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
In the meanwhile, at Tech Town, the father was looking angrily at his son.
- "Look, I know you're angry. But if you hadn't invented Eddy, then I couldn't have invented Cheddy, so, in a way, this is all on you." Chase said.
- "Taking credit for what isn't yours is wrong." Donald replied. "Especially when what isn't yours, is mine!"
- "Yes. I know, but everybody loves Cheddy and if I tell them that it wasn't mine then it could crush my reputation." The genius boy explained.
- "You're young, you'll recover." The scientist put his hand on his son's shoulder. "Or maybe you won't. I really don't care."
- "Again, I'll go get the manager." Bree brought Scott over again.
- "You're touching." He pulled away from her grip. "You're touching, you're touching."
- "This is really difficult for me to say." The green hazel-eyed said.
- "He didn't create the Cheddy app, he stole it. See? Easy." The bionic girl mocked and walked away.
- "It's my dad's. I didn't want to lose, so I tried to pass his technology off as my own." Chase explained.
- "You know, Chase, admitting that was very big of... your sister. Now, it's time for my victory lap." The manager laughed and ran away.
- "Good news, Chase, your night's about to get worse. Everybody who bought the Cheddy app wants their money back." The Davenport girl said.
- "What, why?" The genius boy frowned.
Across the room, a group of teenagers were on their phones.
- "Tickets to a movie? Sure. Which of your imaginary friends will be joining you?" Cheddy said to her girl. "Nice shirt. Too bad about the face." He insulted a guy. "Daily reminder. No one likes you!" He exclaimed to another boy.
- "Oh, no. Cheddy is using the computing power of all these devices to evolve into snarky Eddy faster." The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.
- "Never mind that. You also forgot that Eddy's software is self-replicating. He's gonna start infecting other devices soon." The father replied.
- "Uh, I think he already has." Chase said, panicked.
The computers and television screens were taken over by Eddy.
- "Hey, look! Now I'm annoying in HD!" He yelled.
- "How are we gonna shut this thing down?" The genius boy asked.
- "Well, we're gonna have to delete the app at its source." Donald explained. "I can reset Eddy's mainframe from here. Unless you stole my app that does that too!" He yelled in his son's face.
Too close. The green hazel-eyed boy leaned back. The only person, who can be this close to my face is Mads.
- "Okay, as soon as I shut down and reboot the lab's network, we should all be Cheddy-free." The scientist continued.
In the lab, the lights turned off and back on, the two capsule doors holding the attack orbs opened. The orbs flew out of the room.
- "What's happening?" Eddy started pixelating. "I'm pixelating! I'm pixelating!"
- "Okay. The Cheddy app is deleted. Crisis averted." The father sighed. "Except for you, your crisis is just beginning!" He pointed at his son.
- "Woo-hoo! Victory lap! Yeah!" Bree did a victory lap around the store while cheering. "Hoo-ah!" She kicked the air.
She's spending too much time with Caitlin. Chase frowned.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
At school, the girls were still watching the play.
- "Let us stop here for tonight and set up camp." Janelle said.
- "I can't believe Leo snuck out." Maddie sighed.
Leo came barreling through the doors.
The hell? The alien girl frowned as she looked at her best friend, on the floor.
- "Aahh! Totally fell for it!" Trent cheered. The attack orbs showed up behind the short boy. "Oh, no. Oh, the flying balls of doom!"
- "How'd they get out?" The Davenport boy asked.
The attack orbs went into attack mode, the teacher started to run away.
- "No! Out of my way! You're all losers! Oh, save me!" Trent yelled and everyone, except the childhood best friends, ran. "Take that! Yeah!" The attack orbs fired towards his feet. "Whoa! My shoes, these are my good shoes! Leave me alone!" The orbs fired again. "Aaaaah! Oh! Okay. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Save me!" He hid behind Adam. "Save me! Save me! Oh, no! Whoa! Whoa! Davenport! Make it stop!" He yelled and ran behind the Matthews girl. "Matthews, help me."
- "No way in hell. For once, it's not the others who are being tormented." She replied, before pushing him towards the orbs.
The teacher yelled and ran to hide behind a curtain. Leo ran up to his brother, who was still on stage.
- "Adam, help!" He yelled.
- "No, you help. Go ask someone what my line is." The tall guy replied.
- "It's 'Ma'am, you're standing in it'!" Maddie yelled.
- "Leo, do something!" Tasha yelled.
- "Working on it, Mom." The short boy jumped to grab one the attack orbs, and started flying around the room. "Excuse me. Pardon me. Sorry. Get out the way."
- "You are ruining my play!" The Dawson girl yelled.
- "I am flying around on a metal ball. Can we please not turn on each other right now?" The Davenport boy asked.
- "Leo, make them fire at each other!" The alien girl yelled.
- "Yes! That's it!" Leo yelled. "I can make them turn on each other!" He hoisted his body to adjust to the orbs towards each other.
He jumped and fell on the ground. Everyone ducked. The orbs fired and destroyed at each other. Donald and the younger bionic siblings ran in.
- "What'd we miss?" The father asked.
- "Oh! Ma'am, you're standing in it." Adam said.
The Matthews girl slapped her forehead.
Everyone, reluctantly, clapped and the tall guy bowed.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
Later, Donald walked in the lab with the childhood best friends.
- "Leo, these orbs are some of the best work you've ever done." He said. "You know, when you invent things, you learn through failure. And while this was an epic failure, I mean, probably the worst failure I've ever seen, I mean, wow! People were running..."
- "I got it." Leo replied.
- "It was also, if you let it be. An epic learning experience. You know, it's a long road up that mountain, my genius." The father wrapped his arm around his son's shoulders.
- "I know, I'll get there." The short boy nodded.
- "Now, you're just talking crazy." The scientist snickered and walked away.
- "I'm proud of you, Leo." Maddie smiled.
- "Thanks, Dee." The Davenport boy smiled back.
- "You're going to be an amazing scientist." The alien girl added.
- "I hope so." Leo nodded.
- "I know so." The Matthews girl replied.
- "You're the best." The short boy wrapped his arm around his best friend's shoulders.
- "I know." Maddie shrugged, before chuckling.
