A week later, Leo was in the common area when his uncle walked in.

- "Yes, Donnie, I'll take out the garbage." Douglas said on the phone. "No, Donnie, I won't experiment on the kids' bionics while they're asleep again." The nephew looked at him, in shock. "It was one time, and you didn't even notice." He told the Davenport boy, before putting the phone back to his ear. "Gotta go. Yes, I miss you too." He hung up the phone. "Well, Donnie and the students made it to Gettysburg for their first official field trip."

- "Bionic kids and cannonballs. What could possibly go wrong?" Leo, sarcastically, asked.

- "You're a student. Why didn't you go?" The Davenport man asked.

- "Oh, Big D thinks I'm there. When he takes attendance, I paid Aaron 5 bucks to yell 'Here!' and Alison 10 bucks to yell 'Shut it, Leo'." The nephew explained. The girls walked in with books in their hands. "Oh, hey, girls." He walked up to them. "I ditched the field trip, so I could hang out with you guys. What should we do on our day off?"

- "Our day off? No, this is my day off, and I already got it all planned out. I'm going to sit by the pool and read a book. I'd ask you to join me, but I live and work with my family, so I'm sick of all of you." Bree explained. "Except M, she's the exception."

Maddie smiled.

- "Sorry, Leo, but I have so many books to read." She said.

- "Why don't you use your super speed?" Leo asked.

- "Where's the pleasure in that?" The alien girl frowned.

Chase walked in.

- "Hey Chase, wanna hang out?" The middle brother questioned.

- "Sorry, Leo, gotta make the most of my day off." Chase replied. "I already organized the weapons vault, alkalized the island's water system and taught a cute little group of dolphins to wave hello!" He waved as he smiled widely.

The Matthews girl chuckled. Adorable.

- "Next up, some light reading. Oooh." The genius boy grabbed his sister's book and speed read through it. "She ended up marrying the vampire? I did not see that coming!" He exclaimed.

The bionic girl frowned and took her book back.

The green hazel-eyed boy moved to take one of the books of the girl he loved.

- "You can read my books, but if you spoil me anything, I will hurt you." Maddie warned.

Chase chuckled and speed read the book, his eyes widening. Of course, it's dirty. And hot, wow. He flexed his thighs, before giving her the book back.

- "You're gonna love it." He whispered in her ear.

- "Really?" The alien girl raised her eyebrows.

- "Yes." The genius boy nodded.

Adam walked in with a rock.

- "Oh, hey, Adam." Leo said.

- "No." The tall guy moved around him.

- "I didn't even ask you anything yet." The middle brother frowned.

- "Oh, I'm sorry. Go ahead." The eldest replied.

- "Thank you. Would you like to han..." Leo started.

- "No." Adam turned around. "Guys, check out this rock I found on shore. I had to dig it out from under a wooden box of old yellow coins and jewelry."

The Matthews girl shook her head, in despair.

The green hazel-eyed boy looked closely.

- "Adam, this isn't a rock." He said. "It's a fossil. Let me see that." He tried to take the rock.

- "No!" The tall guy yelled.

They tussled and Chase got the rock, laying it on the console and putting two fingers on his temple to scan it.

This is incredible! He gasped, amazed.

- "This is a prehistoric sea spider! It went extinct millions of years ago." He explained.

- "Ew. For good reasons." Maddie frowned.

- "Way to go, Chase. You made my rock boring." The eldest teenager said, before walking away.

- "Cool, I love spiders!" The middle brother exclaimed.

- "That's not what you were saying when we snuck in Marcus and Douglas' lair, and you had a spider on you." The alien girl replied.

- "I love spiders, just not on me." Leo explained. "You know, back in high school, they used to call me 'Spider Legs!'." Everyone frowned. "And now I'm realizing that's a bad thing."

- "It looks like it's from the Cretaceous period." Douglas said.

- "You're right, Douglas!" The genius boy put a hand on his uncle's back. "It's from the Valanginian subdivision. I would have loved to have seen this spider while it was alive."

- "I would have changed planets." The Matthews girl added.

- "Well, maybe you can see it. You know, before I got into bionics, I dabbled in biology. I was trying to use fossils to bring extinct species back to life." The Davenport man explained.

Don't. Maddie frowned.

- "And that explains why there's still no Mrs. Douglas Davenport." The Davenport girl mocked.

- "This specimen is almost perfectly preserved." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Give it to a museum." The alien girl replied.

- "Come on, Mads." Chase snickered.

- "You know, I was never able to crack it on my own, but maybe with your help, I can." Douglas pointed at his youngest nephew.

- "I'm pretty sure you're not looking at me, but I am in." The middle brother smiled.

- "Let's do this, Douglas." The genius boy said.

- "When everything goes wrong, don't come to me." The Matthews girl replied. "I will be long gone."

Adam rode over in a tandem bike.

- "Hey Leo, it was rude of me to just say no when you asked if I wanted to do something earlier." He explained.

- "Well, it's nice to see you've come to your senses." Leo tried to get on the bike.

- "Yeah, what I should've said was 'no, thank you'." The tall guy rode away, making his brother stumble.

- "Why don't you go see Janelle?" Maddie asked.

- "I wanted to spend time with you." The middle brother replied.

- "She's busy?" The alien girl raised her eyebrows.

- "Yeah." Leo sighed.

- "It's nice to know that we are your last option." The Matthews girl smiled.

Later, the uncle was drilling on the rock.

- "Almost there." He said. "Got it."

- "Oh, you guys started without me." Leo walked in. "I must have missed the memo. Where we at, compadres?"

- "First, we have to extract a sample of its DNA." Douglas continued, without listening to his older nephew.

- "Oh, great, we can map out its genetic structure, and recreate it exactly." Chase replied.

- "Or make it better. There's a reason this spider went extinct. This time, we can give it a better shot at survival." The Davenport man explained. "After all these years of killing things, I can finally help something live."

- "Uh, what'd you have in mind? Elongating its chelicerae?" The genius boy asked.

- "Elongating the who to the what now?" The older brother frowned.

- "Maybe we can increase the strength of its carapace." Douglas suggested.

- "Oh, good idea." Leo nodded.

- "Nah, but to do that we'd have to alter the dimensions of its trochanter." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "Mm, bad idea." The older brother shook his head.

- "Right, to properly distribute the weight..." The uncle started.

- "Yes, the weight." Leo nodded.

- "Of its altered exoskeleton." Chase continued.

- "The exoskeleton. Of course." The older brother said.

- "You're just repeating everything we say." The Davenport man frowned.

- "No, I'm testing you to see if you're both listening, and you are." Leo explained. Now, can we please get back to our tree panthers and our carrot pizzas."

He really didn't understand anything. The genius boy frowned.

- "Leo, look. You're a great tech guy, but this is more of a biology thing." He said.

- "Are you icing me out?" The older brother asked, in disbelief.

- "Finally. Something you do understand." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

The youngest nephew and his uncle moved in front of Leo, who looked at them, in shock.

Later, the two girls were sitting on lounge chairs by the pool, reading.

- "So, something new with Chase?" Bree asked, without lifting her head from her book.

- "No." Maddie looked at her. "If anything had happened, I would have told you. Besides, what could happen?" She frowned. "It's not like I planned to tell my best friend that I'm in love with him."

- "I know." The bionic girl sighed. "But again, you don't know how he would react."

- "After Danielle, Sabrina and Sebastian, I'm pretty sure Chase doesn't see me that way." The alien girl said.

Adam walked out, holding a radio and a bunch of floaties. He, accidentally, hit his sister with a floatie and put the radio on the coffee table, next to her chair.

Here goes peace. The Matthews girl sighed.

- "Ow! Ow! Hey! Watch it." The Davenport girl frowned as she paused the music.

- "Sorry. It's kinda hard to see with all this snorkeling gear on." The tall guy explained.

- "Then take it off." Bree said.

- "Then how will I breathe?" The eldest asked.

- "You have the bionic ability to breathe underwater." The bionic girl replied, annoyed.

- "But I'm not underwater." Adam frowned.

- "Adam, take it off." Maddie ordered.

- "Yes, ma'am." The tall guy took off his snorkeling gear.

- "Okay, why are you here?" The Davenport girl asked. "We have the whole island to ourselves. Can't you see I am trying to relax?"

- "Hey, I live here, too. Did it ever occur to you that you, girls, sitting here reading quietly might be annoying to me?" The eldest questioned.

- "No?" The girls, simultaneously, said.

- "Well, it is!" Adam yelled.

The girls rolled their eyes and started to read their books again, but they looked up when they heard a buzzing noise.

Oh my god! The alien girl closed her eyes, annoyed.

- "Adam, what are you doing?" Bree asked, irritated.

- "What does it look like? I'm shaving my knees." The tall guy replied.

- "Why would you shave your knees?" The bionic girl frowned.

- "'Cause it's my day off." The eldest said.

- "Adam, go do that somewhere else, or I'll shave your head." The Matthews girl threatened.

Adam rolled his eyes and turned it off.

- "Guys." Chase ran in. "You've gotta come downstairs and see this. Come on!"

- "Hmm. Congratulations, Adam. You did the impossible. You made me wanna hang out with Chase." The Davenport girl walked away, followed by her older brother.

So nice. The genius boy scoffed.

Maddie leaned back in her chair and started reading.

What is she doing? The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "You're not coming?" He asked.

- "Did you, guys, brought the spider back to life?" The alien girl questioned.

- "Mmm..." Chase started.

- "That's a 'yes'." The Matthews girl replied. "Then, congrats, but I'm not coming to see that atrocity."

- "Yes, you are." The genius boy walked towards her.

- "What are you doing?" Maddie frowned.

The green hazel-eyed boy took her arms to make her stand up.

The alien girl got up. What the hell he is doing?

Chase smirked and bent down to throw her over his shoulder. He put his hands on the back of her thighs, under her shorts. His thumbs, slowly, caressed her skin.

- "Chase!" The Matthews girl yelled as she put her hands on his lower back to support herself. "Put me down!"

- "Sure, once we are downstairs." The genius boy replied as he walked in the quarters.

I mean, I kinda like the view here. Maddie glanced down. Nice ass.

- "Come on, Chase." She frowned.

- "No." The green hazel-eyed boy shook his head as he made sure to have her secure on his shoulder.

- "That's kidnapping." The alien girl sighed loudly.

Chase chuckled as he walked in the common area, where everyone else was. He put the girl he loved down.

- "Still alive?" He smiled.

- "I swear if anything happens, I will hurt you." The Matthews girl frowned as she walked behind him. "And you." She pointed at Douglas.

The genius boy smiled as he interlaced their fingers together, his thumb making small circles on the top of her hand to try to relax her.

- "Behold! One of the greatest achievements in the history of science!" The uncle exclaimed and unveiled the spider.

I'm gonna be sick. Maddie frowned as she got goosebumps.

The green hazel-eyed boy smiled, proudly, and looked at the girl he loved, who looked terrified. Wow, it's the first time, I see her being scared. He squeezed her hand.

- "Aaah! Spider! I'll get it!" Adam shouted as he took off his slipper.

- "No! Stop!" Chase left go of the hand of the girl he loved and tried to stop his brother.

- "Help him!" The Davenport man told the alien girl.

- "Nope." The Matthews girl shook her head.

- "Stop." The genius boy managed to keep his eldest brother calm. "Douglas and I were able to extract the DNA from the fossil and reanimate the sea spider." He explained.

- "Wait, so you brought a million-year-old creature back to life in one day?" Bree asked.

- "What'd you do with your day off?" The green hazel-eyed boy said, smugly.

- "Something not disgusting." Maddie replied, as she glared at the spider, in disgust.

- "When you take a lot of shortcuts and conduct dangerous experiments without any safety precautions, you can do anything in a day." Douglas smiled.

- "Can you believe it?" Chase asked.

- "That you'd spend your whole day off with your weird uncle and playing with a dead spider? Yeah, I believe it." The bionic girl snickered.

- "This is just the beginning. Think of all the other extinct animals we can bring back to life. Dinosaurs. Ooh, dodo birds..." The uncle started.

- "Camels." The tall guy added.

- "Adam, camels aren't extinct." The genius boy frowned.

- "Oh yeah? Then how come I've never seen one?" The eldest teenager asked.

- "We'll go to the zoo." The alien girl replied.

- "Ugh, that thing is nasty." Leo frowned. "Can I touch it?" He smiled widely and moved his face in front of the glass.

- "Ew." The Matthews girl said.

- "No." The Davenport man replied.

- "Oh, but you guys can touch it?" The middle brother asked, in disbelief.

- "Look, we can't risk anything happening to it. The spider's very existence can change everything." The green hazel-eyed boy explained.

- "And make me famous around the world." Douglas smirked.

- "And what about me?" Chase questioned.

- "Oh, I'm sure you'll end up on somebody's blog." The uncle replied.

- "I told you to stop working with him or Donnie." Maddie said as she took a step back.

The genius boy walked up to her.

- "Relax, it's locked." He caressed her arm.

- "Yeah, sorry, but until that thing is off the island, I won't believe you." The alien girl shook her head.

The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes, amused.

The Davenport man placed an electronic lid on the case.

- "There. That should keep our little friend safe." He said.

- "'Friend?' Yeah, absolutely not." The Matthews girl walked out of the room.

- "Mads!" Chase frowned.

- " Wait for me!" The Davenport girl yelled.

- "No, I'm not staying anywhere near that thing!" Maddie shouted.

The genius boy snickered.

- "Well, I'm gonna go somewhere quiet and enjoy my day off." Bree said to her family.

- "I'm gonna go somewhere quiet and make noise." Adam added.

They followed their best friend.

- "Stop following me!" The bionic girl yelled.

- "Stop walking in front of me!" The tall guy mocked.

The uncle and his youngest nephew walked inside the hydraloop.

- "Where are you guys going?" Leo asked.

- "To the mainland. We still have to pick up a few things for its terrarium." Douglas explained.

- "Mind if I..." The middle brother started as the hydraloop door closed. "...join you? Well, if you guys are gonna blow me off, then I'm gonna play with my new pal Spidey." He tried to take off the lid. "Oh, great. I forgot they locked it. Good thing I have the spare key." He used his bionic arm to take off the lid. "Well, hello there. Oh, mmm." He frowned, in disgust. "Anything that smells that bad deserves to be extinct." He neglected to put the lid back on properly, and the spider moved the lid as Leo walked away.

Later, the girls and Leo were in the living room, doing their own things when Adam walked in.

- "Hey, Leo, I have a question." He said.

- "What's up?" The middle brother asked.

- "Is this annoying?" The tall guy blared the air horn.

- "Yes, it's annoying." Bree replied.

- "Well, I'll tell you what's annoying. People who interrupt conversations." The eldest said. "Leo." He blared the air horn again.

- "I'm gonna kill him." Maddie covered her ears, in pain.

- "Please, do." The bionic girl nodded.

- "Let me hear it one more time." Leo replied. Adam blared the air horn. "Yeah, that's annoying."

- "Then we might have a problem, 'cause this thing, it's like candy to my ears." The tall guy blared the air horn.

- "Adam, why do you keep pestering me?" The Davenport girl asked, irritated.

- "I'm not pestering you. I'm just trying to relax on my day off." The eldest explained. "This is my Zen." He blared the air horn continuously.

- "That's it." Bree super speeded Adam over to the pool, and pushed him in. "Try to toot your little horn now." The air horn blare was muffled from underwater, causing the three youngest to roll their eyes.

- "You messed with our spider." Douglas walked in with his youngest nephew.

The Matthews girl closed her eyes, in despair.

- "You can't bring an extinct spider back to life and expect me not to play with it. Besides, what's the big deal?" The middle brother asked.

- "The big deal is, you didn't put the cover on right, and it escaped." Chase explained.

- "Oh. Well, that is a big deal." Leo replied.

Maddie's eyes widened. She walked up to them and grabbed the shoulders of the boy she loved.

- "Tell me, you're kidding. I'm begging you." She said.

- "I'm not." The genius boy frowned, in compassion.

The alien girl let go of his shoulders.

- "I'm gonna kill you both." She glared at them.

Crap. The green hazel-eyed thought.

- "Before you do, remember that we can help you find the spider faster." He said.

- "Fine. But right after, I'm hurting you." The Matthews girl threatened.

- "We know." The two, simultaneously, replied.

The tall guy got out of the pool and started screaming.

- "You okay?" Chase asked.

- "Oh, I don't know. Something bit me in the back when I was in the pool." The eldest teenager explained.

- "Hmm. That's called karma." The bionic girl mocked.

- "Oh, no, I bet it was the spider." The uncle said.

- "It was here." Maddie, nervously, chuckled.

- "Well, if it was, it's gone." The genius boy replied, after looking inside the pool.

- "Ah, it really hurts. How's it look?" Adam turned around to reveal a massive lump on his back, causing everyone to screams.

- "I better scan the wound." The green hazel-eyed boy put two fingers on his temple and scanned it. He pulled everyone away from his eldest brother. "Guys, his spider bite shows lethal levels of poison." He murmured.

- "What? Is it bad?" The tall guy asked.

- "Uh, no. Just stay calm, and think of your happy place." The Davenport girl said. "Better yet..." She blared the air horn.

- "Ahhh." The eldest teenager smiled widely.

Everyone covered their ears, in pain.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of minutes later, Adam was laying on the couch.

- "His vitals are dropping by the minute." Chase said.

- "He's burning up." Leo added.

Maddie walked up to the tall guy and put a cold towel on his forehead.

- "I cannot believe this is all because of a spider bite." Bree replied.

- "If we don't do something soon, he's gonna..." Douglas made a throat-slitting gesture and thumbs down gesture.

- "Chase." The eldest teenager said, softly. "Chase. Where's Chase?"

- "I'm here, Adam." The genius boy crouched down next to him.

- "Take my hand." Adam extended his hands to his brother, who took his hands between both of his. "There's something I have to tell you. If I die..."

- "I'm not gonna let that happen." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "No, listen to me. If I die, I want you to know...even when I'm dead..." The tall guy started.

- "Adam..." Chase said as his voice broke.

The alien girl frowned, sadly.

- "I'm just a pile of bones..." The eldest teenager continued.

I can't lose you. The genius boy buried his head in their hands, for a moment, as tears threatened to fall down his cheeks.

Wait for it. The Matthews girl crossed her arms.

- "I'll still be taller than you." Adam murmured.

- "Ahh!" The green hazel-eyed boy jumped up immediately.

Here we go. Maddie shook her head.

- "If he wasn't dying, I would have punched him." She said.

The tall guy, weakly, laughed.

- "You should've seen the look on your faces. Wait." He frowned. "Why do you have so many tiny faces?"

- "Oh, no. The venom must be making him hallucinate." The middle brother bent down to him.

- "I love what you've done to your hair, Bree." The eldest teenager said.

- "I never would've brought that spider back, had I known that it was poisonous." Chase explained.

- "Why didn't you know it was poisonous?" The uncle asked.

- "Why didn't you know it was poisonous? You're the fossil expert." The genius boy replied.

- "You're supposed to be the smartest man in the world." The Davenport man added.

- "Hey, stop." The bionic girl said. "Blaming each other is not gonna help Adam. Besides, I'm the one who pushed him in the pool."

- "Oh, so it's your fault. She admitted it." Douglas replied.

- "Well, he let the spider out." The Davenport girl pointed at Leo.

- "Hey, I'm not even here right now. I'm in Gettysburg." The middle brother said.

- "It's your fault." The alien girl pointed at the uncle and his youngest nephew, who frowned. "You are the idiots, who brought the spider back to life!" She yelled, in a whisper. "And you, guys, are supposed to be geniuses. Why did you leave Leo, alone, with the spider?" She frowned.

- "I'm a grown man." Leo said.

- "Apparently not. You are a kid, who has to touch everything he's not supposed to." The Matthews girl replied.

- "We're not babysitters." The Davenport man frowned.

- "Yeah, and you're not geniuses, either. You are idiots." Maddie scoffed.

The green hazel-eyed boy frowned. I know, she says that because she's mad, but it still hurts coming from her.

- "We have to find that spider. If we can make an antidote by extracting the venom from its sac, it should reverse the effects." He explained.

Adam started groaning.

- "Don't worry, Adam. We're gonna find that spider and save you, I promise." The middle brother said.

- "Okey-dokey, Mr. Corn Dog." The tall guy replied as Leo appeared as a giant corn dog in his head. "Oh, don't be afraid. I just wanna bite your head off."

The middle brother frowned, in fear.

- "Okay, come on." Chase said.

Everyone walked out.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of minutes later, the three youngest mentors entered the common area, on their guard.

- "Now, the spider is really dangerous, so we have to be very careful that we don't get bitten." Chase whispered as he was holding newspapers.

- "Right." Bree nodded as she held on tight to the plunger, in her hands.

- "She can't bite me." Maddie shrugged as she was getting ready to use her heat vision.

The genius boy walked directly behind his sister, trying to use her as a shield, causing her to stumble.

- "What are you doing?!" She asked, annoyed.

- "Protecting you?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked. "Oh, come on, I'm the bigger loss and we both know it." He replied.

- "Wow." The alien girl said, in disbelief.

- "I'm not talking about you, Mads." Chase replied.

- "You are bionic, and you're afraid of a spider?" The bionic girl questioned.

- "I'm an alien, I have been tortured, and I'm afraid of it." The Matthews girl said.

- "Of course not. I made it. I'm not afraid of it." The genius boy replied. Maddie smirked at the Davenport girl and pointed at his arm. Bree smiled and, from behind him, ran her fingers in a walking motion across his arm to mimic a spider. "Ah! Get it off me, get it off me!" He ran out of the room, screaming.

The girls laughed and high-fived.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of minutes later, the two youngest brothers ran in.

- "Did you find it?" Chase asked.

- "No. Did you?" Leo replied.

- "Why would I ask if you found it if I found it? The genius boy frowned.

- "I was being polite." The older brother explained.

- "At a time like this?" The green hazel-eyed boy questioned.

- "There is never a bad time for good manners." Leo replied. "Remember that, because Dee likes a polite man." He smirked.

Chase's eyes widened as his cheeks reddened.

- "What are you smirking?" He asked.

- "Because the time when you were oblivious about your feelings for her is gone. Am I right?" The older brother grinned.

He knows?! The genius boy opened his mouth to answer when the three others ran in.

- "Hey! Did you find it?" He asked.

- "No. Did you?" Douglas replied.

- "See? No, we did not, but thank you for asking." Leo said.

The green hazel-eyed boy rolled his eyes.

- "Okay, the spider could not have just disappeared." Bree replied. A rumbling noise shook the entire room. "Wait. What was that?" She asked, in fear.

- "I don't wanna know." Maddie sighed.

- "I think it's coming from outside." The uncle said.

They all walked towards the window.

- "Is that..." The middle brother frowned.

- "I think we just found the spider." Chase replied.

- "I'm moving back to Mission Creek." The alien girl added.

The gigantic spider was walking around the island's exterior, and then, peered into the window, causing the five of them to scream and run into the training area.

- "That spider did not look like that this morning. What happened?" Leo asked.

The genius boy started pacing.

- "I don't know." He said.

- "Why is it so big?" The bionic girl questioned.

- "I don't know." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "Why don't you know?" The older brother asked.

- "I don't know!!" Chase shouted.

- "Relax." The Matthews girl put her hands on his shoulders. "Breathe."

The genius boy took a deep breath.

- "You need to stay calm. We all need to stay calm." Maddie said.

- "She's right." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded. Douglas tried to sneak off. They all glared at him. "Douglas."

The uncle turned around, nervous.

- "Okay, fine. Remember how you wanted to make the spider more resilient so that it wouldn't go extinct again?" He asked.

- "I remember YOU wanted to do that." Chase replied, annoyed.

- "And, uh, we talked about giving it growth hormones." The Davenport man said.

- "And I said, DO NOT do that!" The genius boy yelled.

- "Which could be interpreted in many different ways." Douglas replied, causing everyone to groan. "Well, I didn't know it would get this big!"

- "You've got to be kidding me!" The alien girl yelled.

- "Oh, yeah! Who knew growth hormones would make something grow?!" The green hazel-eyed boy sassed.

- "You're just mad 'cause I didn't save any for you." The uncle replied.

Chase glared at him.

- "Oooooooh." The three other teenagers, simultaneously, said.

- "Below the belt, Douglas!" The genius boy yelled. "Below the belt."

I wouldn't mind seeing what's under his belt. The Matthews girl thought.

- "You do realize that Chase is two inches taller than you?" She asked.

- " Shut it!" The Davenport man replied.

- "Watch it." The green hazel-eyed glared at him.

God, he's so hot when he does that. Maddie pressed her lips together to stop her growing smile.

- "Okay guys, stop, there is no need to kill each other." The Davenport girl said. "Although, that was a good one, Uncle Dougie."

A rumbling noise was heard from outside and the room shook.

- "If we don't stop that thing, it's gonna destroy the entire academy." Chase explained.

- "No, wait. We can't kill it yet." Douglas said. "The venom's no good to Adam if we extract it when the spider's dead."

- "Great. Now we just need to find someone, who knows how to milk a 50-foot spider." Leo sassed.

- "No, no, we don't have to milk it. We have to extract the spider's venom with this." The uncle put a needle on a weapon, creating a harpoon-like device. "This should be sharp enough to puncture the venom sac."

- "Check the security feed to see if it's still out there." The genius boy said.

Bree checked the security feed.

- "Okay, it's by the living quarters." She replied.

- "Great. Let's go." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Remember, we have to get as close as we can to make sure we get a good shot." The Davenport man explained.

- "So, you want us to sidle up next to a giant, angry, deathly spider and poke it with a needle?" The older brother asked.

- "Yep. And if we can do it before my brother returns, that would be great." Douglas replied.

They all ran out.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of seconds later, they entered the living room, where Adam was sitting.

- "Why is it trying to attack us?" Bree asked.

- "It's not. It's trying to eat us." Douglas explained.

- "Why is it trying to eat us?!" The bionic girl questioned.

- "Because we forgot to bring back its food source." The uncle added.

- "Because you are dumbasses." Maddie continued.

- "Okay, you're mad, but can you stop insulting us?" Chase glared at her.

- "Are you done bringing spiders back to life?" The alien girl asked.

- "Yes." The two scientists nodded.

- "I'll see." The Matthews girl replied.

- "'We'? Oh, no. There is no we. This is all you. You are a terrible scientist!" Leo pointed at his uncle.

- "Hey, I'm not the one who let the spider out." The Davenport man defended.

- "You are the one who made it a 50-foot-tall man-eater!" The middle brother yelled.

Maddie nodded.

- "Chase. Chase. Where's Chase?" The tall guy asked.

- "Oh, knock it off!" The genius boy yelled.

They went outside and Leo grabbed the harpoon.

- "Okay." He pointed at the spider. "All right. Ha!"

- "Leo, what are you doing?" Douglas frowned.

- "Saving the day. You know, doing my Leo thing." The middle brother grinned.

- "Leo, right now, I'm madder at Chase and Douglas, but you let the spider out, so don't be too cocky." The alien girl glared at him.

- "I feel like we better run once we have the venom." Leo told the boys, who nodded.

- "Not like that, you aren't. Your angle's all off." The uncle replied.

A spider leg stroked Douglas, and he flew several feet away from them.

The Matthews girl laughed.

- "Now, that's karma." The middle brother smiled, before pointing at the spider again.

- "No, stop. Douglas was right. Your angle is completely off." The green hazel-eyed boy stopped him.

- "Oh, I am not giving the harpoon to somebody who started all this." Leo said.

- "Again, you started all of this!" Chase replied.

The brothers started to fight over the harpoon.

- "I'm gonna kill them." Maddie exhaled loudly.

- "And I'm about to end it." Bree grabbed the harpoon from them.

- "I'll adjust your angle." The alien girl said.

They walked towards the spider.

- "You know, suddenly, I feel sorry for the spider." The genius boy replied.

The girls walked under the spider and the Matthews girl adjust her best friend's angle.

- "Here goes." The bionic girl shot the spider in the venom sac, and it screeched, quickly, releasing yellow goo all over the girls, making it impossible for Maddie to open a shield in time. "Everyone frowned, in disgust. "Got it."

The spider fell into the ocean.

- "I'm gonna be sick." The alien girl replied.

- "Perfect. This should be more than enough venom." The uncle said.

- "Ya think?" The Davenport girl sassed. The Davenport man scraped goo from her face. "Ugh."

- "Well, let's go make that antidote." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

The boys walked away.

- "Hey, Bree, Maddie, you need towels? No, it's okay. We'd rather just stand here covered in spider goo." Bree, sarcastically, said. "And it went in my mouth. Okay." She gagged.

- "Okay, I'm gonna take at least 50 showers." The Matthews girl replied.

- "Yep." The bionic girl nodded.

Later, the uncle and the four youngest teenagers were playing cards in the cafeteria.

- "You see, this is what I'm talking about. A little family bonding." Leo smiled.

- "Funny how it takes a giant killer spider going after our loved ones to remind you what's really important. Sitting around with the same people you see every day." Bree sighed, annoyed.

- "Too bad we had to destroy Spidey. I'm gonna miss him." The older brother replied.

- "I'm not. Good riddance." Maddie said. "Think about your bruised asses, next time you try to mess with a spider." She looked at the two scientists.

- "Language. And don't worry, we will." Chase nodded, in pain.

- "It hurts to sit." Douglas frowned, in pain. "On the bright side, we're the only people to make a species extinct twice."

Adam walked in the room.

- "Adam, you look great." The bionic girl said.

- "Thanks. You look like you always do." The tall guy replied.

- "Wow, that antidote worked quickly." The genius boy nodded.

- "Then, why does he still have a giant boil on his back?" Leo asked.

The three boy got up to look. The uncle touched the bump.

- "Eh, it's just excess fluid. Should be gone in a few days." He explained.

- "Or I can just pop it right now." The eldest teenager lifted his shirt to pop the boil. The alien girl opened a shield protecting herself and Bree as Adam sprayed pus all over the boys, who screamed in disgust. "Oh, I feel better already."

- "So do we." The bionic girl grinned.

- "Karma is good." The Matthews girl laughed.

The girls high-fived.

- "And it went in my mouth." The middle brother gagged.

A couple of hours later, Maddie was reading on her Kindle on the couch when Chase walked in.

The alien girl looked up and her eyes widened. He was shirtless, coming out of his very long shower, gray sweatpants, hanging low on his hips, hair still wet. Oh my god. You can see the curve of his... No! She looked back to her Kindle. I can't stare. Nope. The image rewound in her head. Kinda love eidetic memory.

The bionic boy frowned and sat, next to her, putting his arm on the back of the couch, behind her.

- "Are you still mad?" He asked.

- "What?" The Matthews girl frowned, without looking at him. "No. I kicked your ass, I'm good, now."

- "Language." The Davenport boy replied, amused. "And it really hurts."

- "I know. Sorry." The blue-eyed girl said. "But I needed to teach you and Douglas a lesson."

- "Lesson learned." The green hazel-eyed boy nodded and leaned towards her.

He frowned when he saw that she was still not looking at him. He took her Kindle and got up.

- "What do you think you're doing?" Maddie got up.

- "Making you look at me." Chase smirked.

He walked around the couch.

- "Give it." The alien girl said.

- "Uum..." The bionic boy pretended to think. "Nope."

The Matthews girl super speeded towards and grabbed the Kindle.

- "Thank you." She smiled and turned around, before putting the Kindle on the coffee table, next to her phone.

The Davenport boy smirked and, gently, pushed her on the couch. She laid on her stomach, and he laid on top of her.

- "Get off me, you jerk!" The blue-eyed girl laughed.

- "I don't want to." The green hazel-eyed boy replied. "Besides, we both know you won't try to move me, because you're scared of hurting me with your super strength. It's time for a little revenge." He dropped his hands to her sides and started, mercilessly, tickling her.

- "Stop." Maddie wiggled underneath him as she laughed.

Chase smiled widely as he continued to tickle the girl he loved for a couple of minutes, before stopping. He rested his chin on her shoulder blade.

- "Are you okay?" He chuckled.

- "I hate you." The alien girl sighed, amused.

The bionic boy smiled and took her phone. He placed it in front of her.

The Matthews girl rolled her eyes and took the phone. She smiled and took a selfie.

- "I'm sending it to you." She did as she said.

- "Thanks." The Davenport boy replied.

I can feel his dick against my ass. The blue-eyed girl thought. I need to make him move.

- "So, can you move now?" She asked.

- "Nope. I'm good." The green hazel-eyed rested his head on her shoulder.

Okay. I have an idea. Maddie smiled.

- "Chase, my boobs were not made to be flattened." She said.

Chase's eyes widened, and his entire face turned bright red as he, quickly, got up.

- "I am so sorry, Mads." He replied.

- "It's okay." The alien girl got up and walked behind him, before pushing him onto the couch, like he did before. She straddled the back of his thighs. "My turn. Besides, we both know you won't try to move me, because you're scared of hurting me with your bionic strength." She used his words against him.

- "HAHA! Very funny. Did you say that just to make me move?" The bionic boy asked, in disbelief, as he propped himself on his elbows and looked behind him.

- "Yep. I'm Kryptonian. You can't hurt me even if you tried." The Matthews girl laid him back on his stomach completely and moved her hands, slowly, across his sides.

The Davenport boy tensed under her touch and flexed his arms as he tried to get rid of his erection.

The blue-eyed girl started to tickle him, causing the green hazel-eyed boy to laugh loudly.

- "Mads." He snickered. "Stop."

Maddie chuckled and stopped moving her hands, resting them on his lower back.

- "Thank you." Chase sighed, amused.

- "You're welcome." The alien girl said as she got up and walked towards the fridge.

The bionic boy, quickly, flexed his thighs, now that she was not sitting on them, trying to make his erection disappear before he could sit. I choose to attack her when I'm wearing gray sweatpants! What's wrong me?! He sat and put his hands on his crotch to hide his erection the best he could until he managed to make it go down. He sighed, in relief.

The Matthews girl walked up to him and handed him a bottle of water.

- "Thanks." The Davenport boy smiled as he took the bottle.

- "My pleasure." The blue-eyed girl sat next to him and propped her legs on the coffee table, exposing her legs as her shorts rose up her thighs.

The green hazel-eyed glanced at her legs, from the corner of the eye, as the girl he loved turned on the TV. Her legs look so smooth. And gosh, look at her thighs. I would gladly die being crushed by them.

Maddie glanced at his bare back. God, even his back has so many muscles.

Chase leaned back against the back of the couch.

The alien girl turned her head back to the TV and rested her head on his shoulder.

The bionic boy smiled and took her hand in his.

The next day, the four youngest and the uncle were in the common area, when Adam ran in.

- "Hey, guys, check out this funny-looking egg that washed up on shore." He said.

- "That's a dinosaur egg." Chase looked closely at the egg.

- "Oh, boy." Bree sighed.

- "As long as it's not a spider, I don't care what you bring back to life." Maddie shrugged.

- "You know, this time, if we don't give it growth hormones, we could..." Douglas started.

- "Or..." Leo crushed the egg with his bionic arm. "You can get a new hobby. If you need me, I'll be in Gettysburg!" He got in hydraloop.
