fifteen.

Tuesday, 5th August 2014

Over a month later, today was Chase's fifteenth birthday, he woke up happy. His family and best friend were throwing him a birthday party, everyone from school was coming. He was very excited to have his very first birthday party.

Last year was more private, just the Davenports and the Matthews. They did like he wanted: they watched a movie, went to the beach and then, came home to celebrate him.

As much fun as he had last time, this year, he wanted to experiment a real birthday party.

The genius boy came out of his capsule very early, his siblings were still asleep. He got dressed and went upstairs. He frowned as he entered the kitchen, smelling fresh croissants and crêpes.

Oh my gosh. The green hazel-eyed boy smiled. She did this for me? Billions of butterflies flew in his stomach as he felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest.

- "Happy birthday, Chase!" Maddie exclaimed as she hugged his waist, tightly.

- "You didn't have to wake up early for me." Chase hugged her back.

- "Don't start." The alien girl pulled away. "It's your birthday, of course I had to. You deserve it. Besides, the look on your face was epic. So, expect something like this, every year." She smiled and turned back to the crêpes.

- "Thank you." The bionic boy smiled. "You're the best." He wrapped his arms around her stomach and rested his head on her shoulder as he watched her flip the crêpe.

The Matthews girl grinned as she felt his body against her. He's gonna kill me, one day. But if this is the way I'm supposed to die, I approve.

The Davenport boy closed his eyes. She is the sweetest.

God, those arms. The blue-eyed girl sighed.

The green hazel-eyed boy's eyes remained closed as he took her scent in. I can't tell if it's her perfume or her moisturizer that smells like roses and which one smells like vanilla. He, lightly, turned his nose to her neck as he inhaled.

Fuck. Maddie tensed up a little when she felt the tip of his nose against her skin.

His lips, slightly, parted as Chase breathed on her neck.

More oblivious than him, you die. The alien girl thought and looked at the crêpe. Damn it! She took the lightly burned crêpe off the pan, before putting some more batter on it.

If one of them moved, in the slightest, the bionic boy would have his lips pressed against the skin of her neck. He turned his head towards the crêpe. The roses are in her perfume. He smiled and pressed his lips on her shoulder.

The Matthews girl, silently, sighed. This feels so good.

- "Do you want help?" The Davenport boy unwrapped his arms off her body.

The blue-eyed girl bit her lips, frustrated, before turning to smile at him.

- "On your birthday? No way!" She exclaimed. "Just, sit your ass down, and you don't do anything."

- "Mads! Seriously?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "Sorry, I meant 'butt'." Maddie chuckled. "Sit your BUTT down."

- "Yes, ma'am." Chase hopped on the counter.

The alien girl smiled and looked up at him.

- "I like when you call me 'ma'am'." She chuckled.

I really do. She thought as her heartbeat fasten. More than you think.

- "I'm shocked." The bionic boy, sarcastically, smiled.

The Matthews girl rolled her eyes, amused, before turning her attention to the pan.

The Davenport boy smirked as he came up with a way to annoy his best friend. He took a crêpe off the plate and took a bite.

- "Seriously? You couldn't wait?" The blue-eyed girl frowned, as she smiled.

- "For your baking? Never." The green hazel-eyed boy shook his head.

- "You could have, at least, put something in it." Maddie replied.

- "What are you offering?" Chase asked.

- "Multiple choices, but for you, sea-salt caramel." The alien girl smirked.

- "No way! You did some?" The bionic boy's eyes widened.

- "Duh. I don't stop halfway. I go all the way." The Matthews girl replied as she walked to the fridge and took out the caramel.

- "You're really the only person, who can make me eat sugar." The Davenport boy chuckled.

- "I love having this privilege." The blue-eyed girl took a spoon of caramel and led it to the mouth of the boy she loved. "Here, taste it."

The green hazel-eyed boy leaned forward and ate the caramel, while his best friend held the spoon.

- "Mmm." He moaned, in delight. "This is excellent." He closed his eyes.

Maddie stared at his tongue, licking his lips clean. His lips look so soft. I wish I could kiss him. She sighed and looked at the floor.

- "You're really amazing, Mads." Chase smiled.

- "Thank you." The alien girl smiled back as she flip the last crêpe. Her glasses started to fall to the tip of her nose. "Dang it." She whispered.

The bionic boy used his index to push her glasses back up.

- "There you go." He said.

- "Thank you, Chase." The Matthews girl smiled, softly.

That was hot. She thought.

- "You're welcome." The Davenport boy nodded.

A couple of hours later, the Davenports and Maddie were getting the outside for the birthday pool party.

- "Thank you, everyone, for your help." Chase smiled.

- "You're welcome, baby." Tasha kissed his cheek and walked inside.

- "I can't believe that we are not welcome." Douglas scoffed.

- "No offense, but you're boring." Adam replied.

His phone rang, and he walked further away to answer.

The alien girl frowned, amused. I wonder if still Owen or a new guy. She smiled as she watched her best friend smiling widely on the phone.

- "Welcome in the life of a parent." Donald wrapped his arm around his brother's shoulders. "Let me explain to you how to deal with teenagers, who are embarrassed by you." They walked inside.

- "This is going to be awesome!" Leo exclaimed. "I need to find my most flattering swim trunks, Janelle will be there!" He yelled, in panic. "Bree, please?"

- "I'll help you." Bree rolled her eyes.

- "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You're a lifesaver." The short boy replied.

The middle siblings walked in the house.

I hope everything will go well. The bionic boy thought, nervous.

The Matthews girl looked at him and, slowly, walked up to him. She put her both of her hands on his chest.

The Davenport boy looked up at her.

The blue-eyed girl smiled, before pushing him backwards into the water.

The green hazel-eyed fell into the water, completely dressed.

- "Mads!" He yelled, after he rose to the surface.

- "Yes?" Maddie pressed her lips together.

- "Why did you do that?" Chase wiped the water off his face.

- "You were overthinking. I had to save you from yourself." The alien girl explained.

- "That's very sweet, thank you. But you couldn't find another way?" The bionic boy asked.

- "No, it's funnier this way." The Matthews girl smiled.

The Davenport boy bit his lips, before raising his hand to use his molecular kinesis to pull her into the water.

The blue-eyed girl fell under the water. She came back up.

- "How dare you?" She chuckled as she splashed water in his face.

- "How dare YOU?" The green hazel-eyed splashed water in her face.

Maddie laughed, before going underwater. She swam behind him and wrapped her right arm around his torso.

- "What if I pull you under the water?" She whispered in his ear.

- "I will get back at you." Chase smirked as he looked behind himself to see her face.

He felt relaxed under her touch, even if she was threatening him.

- "Oh, no! I'm so scared." The alien girl mocked, before pulling him under the water.

The geniuses swam at the surface.

- "You, little..." The bionic boy glared at her, amused.

- "Little what?" The Matthews girl snickered.

The Davenport boy swam towards her. He wrapped his arms around her waist.

The blue-eyed girl put her hands on his chest.

The green hazel-eyed boy smiled, before throwing her further.

That little jerk! Maddie thought as she looked up at him, getting out of the pool, soaked.

- "See you later, Mads." Chase laughed.

- "No." The alien girl super speeded out of the pool and stood in front of him. "Where do you think you're going?" She pushed him back in the pool, but this time, he grabbed her hand to drag her with him.

They both came to the surface and laughed loudly.

- "Well, we have a new war." The bionic boy chuckled.

- "Apparently, we do." The Matthews girl smiled.

The Davenport boy smiled widely.

- "We need to get change, though." He said.

- "I know." The blue-eyed girl replied.

- "Ladies first." The green hazel-eyed boy gestured towards the edge of the pool.

- "Thank you." Maddie pushed on her hands to get out of the pool.

Chase followed her.

Their clothes adhered to their skins, leaving little imagination of what was under.

The alien girl smirked as she stared at the define eight pack abs. He has two more abs. How is that possible?

The bionic boy's eyes widened as he looked at her body up and down. She changed since last year. He blushed, brightly. Wow.

They, both, looked at each other in the eyes.

- "I'm gonna change." The Matthews girl smiled, before walking away.

The Davenport boy stayed behind, looking at her. Water and jeans are definitely an amazing combo. He smiled. What the heck, Chase?! He closed his eyes, quickly.

Later, in the afternoon, everyone was around the pool, Chase smiled as he watched everyone having fun. Like a few people, he was still dressed. He was nervous to get shirtless, in front of this many people.

In front of Maddie, he was fine because he knew that she would never mock him, but the people from school? He did not know.

- "Hey, Chase. Why aren't you swimming?" Maddie asked.

- "Why aren't YOU swimming?" The bionic boy replied.

- "I don't like being in a swimsuit, you know that." The alien girl sighed. "With you, it's fine but with people from school?" She chuckled. "No way."

- "You get me." The Davenport boy smiled.

- "Yep." The Matthews girl nodded, proudly. "But, like I said before, you really have no reason to hide your body. You look good."

The green hazel-eyed boy blushed, brightly.

- "M!" Bree called.

- "Excuse me." The blue-eyed girl walked away.

When Chase opened his mouth to stop her, his eldest brother cut him off.

- "Come on; take off your shirt, Chase." He said. "Everyone already knows how skinny you are. They don't care if you are in your swim trunks." He laughed.

The genius boy rolled his eyes.

- "Well, Mads doesn't think that." He smiled, smugly.

- "The girl is an alien. She's weird, so it doesn't mean anything." Adam chuckled.

- "You're insufferable." The green hazel-eyed boy shook his head.

- "Insu... What?!" The tall guy frowned.

- "Let it go. It's a word for people with a brain." Chase said.

- "Yeah, well, don't put on your swim trunks. It's for people, who don't look like a toothpick!" The eldest exclaimed.

This brought everyone's attention.

The genius boy, nervously, started to look around and saw everyone watching him.

A couple of minutes later, Bree, Leo, and Maddie were laughing in the kitchen when everyone came, screaming and running towards the front door. The trio frowned, in shock. Once everyone got out, they slammed the door.

- "The fuck?" The short boy frowned.

- "What the hell happened?" The alien girl frowned.

- "I have no idea." The bionic girl shrugged.

Right on cue, Adam was thrown through the window, spreading glass everywhere. He groaned in pain, on the floor.

- "What did you do?" The trio, simultaneously, asked, angrily.

- "Still think I'm weak, troll?" Spike, menacingly, walked in the living room, through the broken window.

- "Troll?" The Matthews girl frowned.

Oh, pretty girl is here. The bionic boy smirked.

- "He's tall and stupid. He's basically a troll." He nodded.

- "He's not wrong." The middle brother said.

Maddie snickered. That's true.

- "Good to see you, princess." The deep-voice boy smirked, before walking towards the tall guy.

- "Princess?" The Davenport girl whispered, amused.

- "It's good to see you too, Spike." The alien girl stepped in between them. "Um, how about we get to know each other?" She smiled and pulled him away.

- "After I ripped him apart." Spike tried to run towards the eldest.

- "No, now." The Matthews girl used her super strength to stop him.

- "How are you so strong?" The bionic boy asked.

- "Well, if you come with me, I'll tell you." Maddie smiled and held out her hand.

- "Fine." The deep-voice boy sighed as he took her hand. "I'll see YOU, later." He glared at Adam, who was back on his feet.

The two walked away, hand in hand.

- "She's so good at making him do anything she wants." Leo chuckled.

- "I'll never understand how calm he is with her." The tall guy frowned.

- "It's love." Bree smiled. "Spike may not be Chase, but he is still a part of him. And Chase loves Maddie, so Spike feels connected to her, somehow." She explained.

- "It's kinda cute." The eldest said.

- "You should be grateful that she stopped him." The short boy snickered.

- "Trust me, I am." Adam replied. "But I also know that as soon as she knows what I said to Chase, she will come after me."

- "Oh, for sure." The bionic girl nodded.

- "Yes. I'm gonna take advantage of the fact that Spike is distracting her, to run." The tall guy explained, before running away.

- "Good idea!" Bree shouted after him. "For once." She whispered.

Leo nodded.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of seconds later, Maddie led Spike outside. They sat by the pool, feet in the water.

- "So, are you so strong, kitten?" He asked.

- "Ew, don't call me that." The alien girl frowned.

- "Alright, doll." The bionic boy chuckled.

- "Nope." The Matthews girl shook her head.

- "Seriously?" The Davenport boy frowned. "What do you want me to call you?"

- "How about you stay on 'princess'? It's better." Maddie replied.

- "Alright, you, Maddie, will be princess, from now on." Spike smirked.

- "Yep." The alien girl smiled.

- "So, PRINCESS, are you so strong?" The bionic boy asked.

- "I'm an alien." The Matthews girl said.

- "Didn't know they existed." The Davenport boy replied.

- "Well, from the universe I'm from, they do." Maddie chuckled.

- "Alright." Spike grinned. "So, we are both anomalies for this world. We were meant to meet."

- "Yeah, I guess." The alien girl snickered.

- "If you'll excuse me, I have so business I need to take care of." The bionic boy started to stand up.

- "Don't even think about it." The Matthews girl grabbed his arm and pulled him down. "The only person allowed to hurt Adam is me."

- "Oh, really?" The Davenport raised his eyebrows as he smirked. "Why?"

- "I told Adam and Chase, that every time, he will hurt Chase, I will hurt him. And that's what I'm doing." Maddie explained. "So, don't worry, I'll take care of him, later."

- "I like you." Spike chuckled. "You're violent like me."

- "To defend the people I love? Always." The alien smiled.

- "So, how long have you been in love with him?" The bionic boy asked.

- "What?" The Matthews girl raised her eyebrows.

Am I really this obvious? She thought.

- "Chase. How long?" The Davenport boy added, amused.

- "A while." Maddie replied.

- "How long?" Spike asked.

- "A year and a half." The alien girl sighed.

- "Does he know?" The bionic boy questioned.

- "Are you insane?! Of course not!" The Matthews girl exclaimed.

The Davenport boy chuckled.

- "Why not?" He asked.

- "Because I don't want to lose my best friend." Maddie replied.

- "That's cheesy." Spike scoffed, amused.

- "Shut it." The alien girl, gently, smacked his arm as she snickered.

- "How can you be violent like me and sweet like him?" The bionic boy questioned.

- "It's a mystery." The Matthews girl shrugged.

- "Yeah, I can see that." The Davenport boy chuckled.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of hours later, Bree and Leo walked in the lab towards the Davenports adult brothers.

- "We have a problem." She said. The brothers frowned. "Spike's back." She, awkwardly, smiled.

- "What?!" The brothers, simultaneously, yelled.

- "What happened?" Donald asked.

- "Adam happened." Leo replied.

- "What did he do?" Douglas questioned.

- "No idea, but everyone ran away and Spike threw Adam through the window. You might want to replace it." The Davenport girl chuckled.

The uncle snickered.

- "Where are they, now?" The father asked, irritated.

- "Adam is hiding and Spike is with M. She's keeping him calm." Bree replied.

- "He's calm with her?" The older brother questioned.

- "Yeah. It's weird, right?" The bionic girl snickered.

- "I knew it! Haha!" Donald laughed.

- "What?" The Davenport girl asked.

- "When Douglas and I were studying Chase's commando app, we noticed that, since last year, when Spike is activated, Maddison is the one bringing Chase back." The father explained.

- "Our theory is that Maddie is the person that he loves the most romantically. Even if he doesn't realize it, his heart knows." The younger brother continued.

- "Aw, this is cute." The short boy smiled.

- "So, when the commando app is activated. Chase's feelings for Maddison are brought back to the surface, and that's what make him come back." The older brother added. "Did you ever noticed?"

- "The first time, Chase came back after he saw her. The second time... It's after she said his name! And the last time, it's when she was holding his hand!" Bree exclaimed.

- "I was right." Donald smirked.

- "No, I was right!" Douglas frowned.

- "I was!" The father yelled.

- "I was!" The uncle shouted.

- "You both were!" The bionic girl rolled her eyes. "Maddie grabbed his hand to pull him away. Why didn't Chase came back?"

- "Because it doesn't work anymore. You see his feelings for her are stronger. And he's always looking at Maddison. She's always saying his name, and they are always holding hands." The older brother explained. "Chase is used to this, now. He's not nervous around her anymore." Leo frowned. "Okay, he's not THAT nervous around her anymore." He corrected.

- "There is only one way to bring him back, now." The younger brother continued.

- "How?" The Davenport girl asked. Donald explained their plan, causing his children's eyes to widen. "She will never agree to this."

- "For Chase? I wouldn't be so sure." Leo replied.

- "She will do it. I have no doubt." The father smiled. "Her love for him is too pure."

- "Yeah, that's true." Bree chuckled.

- "We have to tell her, now." Douglas gulped. "You, first, Donnie."

- "Coward." The older brother scoffed and walked past him into the elevator.

- "No, just careful." The younger brother smiled.

- "Where is she?" Donald asked.

- "She was by the pool, last time I saw her." The bionic girl replied.

- "Thank you, honey." The father said as the elevator door closed.

- "That's gonna be fun." The short boy chuckled, before walking towards the cyber desk.

- "What are you doing?" The sister asked.

- "I'm deactivating the cameras, in case Chase checks the footage later." Leo explained.

- "Good plan." Bree nodded.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Meanwhile, the two teenagers were still sitting by the pool. Maddie was explaining to Spike everything that happened since they met last year.

- "Thank you for telling me all this." The bionic boy smiled. "Nobody ever does this. They don't understand how it feels to have a life only a few hours, every year." He sighed.

- "I know." The alien girl patted his shoulder. "I'll bring you up to speed every time we see each other. I promise."

- "You have a good heart, princess." The Davenport boy smiled.

- "Thank you." The Matthews girl smiled back. "You have a good heart too, Spike. Even though, you don't show it."

- "I don't." Spike frowned.

- "Yes, you do." Maddie replied. "You only look like a bad boy, but you are not one. You've never been, and you never will be."

The bionic boy rolled his eyes, amused.

- "Maddison!" Donald shouted from inside.

- "What now?" The alien girl sighed.

- "What did you do?" The Davenport boy chuckled.

- "I have no idea. I didn't even hurt Adam, yet." The Matthews girl shrugged and got up. She walked in the mansion, followed by Spike. "Yes, Donnie?"

- "We need to talk to you." The father said.

- "Alright." Maddie walked up to him, followed by the bionic boy.

- "Alone." Douglas looked at his nephew's alter ego.

- "I'm not leaving her side." The Davenport boy replied.

- "I'll be fine, Spike." The alien girl smiled.

- "Fine." Spike rolled his eyes. "Then, I'll go search for the big dumb one." He started to walk away.

- "No. Stop it." The Matthews girl pulled him back.

- "If I can't listen, then I'll..." The bionic boy started.

- "Sit down, shut up and listen." Maddie, firmly, said as she gestured to the couch behind her.

- "You can't tell me what to do." The Davenport boy frowned. The alien girl raised her eyebrows. "Fine." He sighed and sat on the couch.

- "Thank you, Spikey." The Matthews girl smiled.

Spike snickered, before crossing his arms.

- "Well, this is working better than expected." The uncle said.

- "So, what do you, guys, need to talk to me about?" Maddie asked.

- "It's about the commando app. We have a way to bring Chase back." The father explained.

- "Great." The alien girl smiled.

- "But we need your help." The younger brother added.

- "My help? Why?" The Matthews girl frowned.

- "You are Chase's best friend. Aside from his family, you are the person he's the closest with." The older brother continued. "You've been bringing him back since you met him."

- "Okay, but how?" Maddie asked.

- "By looking at you, by saying his name, holding his hand." Douglas said.

- "He came back every time." The alien girl looked at the floor as she thought about those moments.

- "The problem is that they don't work anymore." Donald sighed. "You need to do more."

- "More? Like what?" The Matthews girl questioned.

- "You need... You need to..." The father started.

- "You need to kiss him." The uncle blurted out.

- "WHAT!?" Maddie exclaimed. "You're kidding?" She, awkwardly, laughed. "Tell me you're kidding."

- "He's not." The older brother replied. "You need to kiss him for five seconds. The first second will be Spike and the last one will be Chase. The three seconds in the middle will be the transition." He explained.

- "I can't kiss him!" The alien girl whisper-yelled.

- "Don't worry, it's just a smooch. Besides, Chase won't remember." The younger brother added. "And he can't know, or it won't work anymore."

- "I wasn't planning on telling him." The Matthews girl rolled her eyes.

- "You have to do it." Douglas said.

- "I can't steal his first kiss." Maddie frowned.

Or have mine with someone who won't remember. She thought.

- "It's a detail. You can consider anyone to be your first kiss." Donald replied.

- "But I can't..." The alien girl sighed.

- "Maddison, you don't have to do it. It's totally up to you." The father put his hand on her shoulder.

- "But if I don't, Chase won't have any memories of his birthday." The Matthews girl said.

- "You don't have to." The older brother replied.

- "So, you're telling me, that I'm the only one who can bring him back?" Maddie asked. "By kissing him?!" She yelled, in a whisper.

- "Yes." The brothers, simultaneously, nodded.

Think about Chase. He hates when Spike takes control. The alien girl thought.

- "Fine. I'll do it." She sighed.

- "Thank you, Maddison." Donald smiled, softly.

- "Thanks." The uncle nodded. "We'll leave you a little space." He walked away, dragging his brother with him.

- "Remember: five seconds, or he will remember!" The father shouted from afar.

Five seconds. Just his lips touching mine for five seconds. It's no big deal. The Matthews girl shrugged. Who am I kidding?! Of course, it's a big deal! I have to kiss my best friend, who I'm in love with, and he won't remember! She sighed. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Billions of butterflies flew in her stomach as she walked up to Spike, who got up from the couch.

- "They found a way to make Chase come back." She explained.

- "Involving you, right?" The bionic boy asked.

- "Yeah. But we can wait. I know how much you hate not having a life." Maddie said.

- "Yeah. But I've been here for hours already, and I know that you miss him." The Davenport boy sighed.

- "I do miss him, but I love spending time with you." The alien girl replied.

- "Me too, pretty girl. But spending time with the boy you love and his alter ego are two different things." Spike said.

- "But you're my friend." The Matthews girl answered.

- "But I'm not Chase." The bionic boy nodded.

- "Spike..." Maddie started.

- "We'll see each other, next time, princess." The Davenport boy smiled, sadly. "Do what you have to do."

- "I have to kiss you-slash-him." The alien girl explained.

- "Then, do it." Spike smirked. "I'm all yours."

The Matthews girl snickered.

- "Until next time, Spike." She walked up to him.

- "Until next time, princess." The bionic boy smiled.

Maddie put both of her hands on his cheeks, before closing her eyes and pulling him into a kiss.

The Davenport boy put his hands on her waist as their lips were pressed together.

One thousand one.

I was right. His lips are so soft. The alien girl thought.

One thousand two.

I wish he could remember. The Matthews girl put her right hand behind his neck as her left one slid down to rest on his chest.

One thousand three.

Damn it. Maddie thought.

One thousand four.

How am I supposed to act normal after this? The alien girl frowned.

One thousand five.

Hi, Chase. The Matthews girl, quickly, pulled away, leaving enough distance between them.

Chase opened his eyes.

- "'Commando app disengaged?'" He frowned. "Adam?" He asked.

- "Yeah." Maddie nodded as she licked her lips. "I'm sorry. Everyone left hours ago."

- "He ruined everything." The bionic boy sighed.

- "I'm so sorry, Chase." The alien girl frowned, sadly.

- "How much damage did Spike do?" The Davenport boy asked.

- "Well, he threw Adam through the window." The Matthews girl pointed at a shattered window. "And after that, he stayed with me."

- "That's it?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "Yeah. I kept him calm and away from Adam and that's it." The blue-eyed girl shrugged.

- "Impressive." Chase smiled, sadly. "I'm surprised you didn't let him hurt Adam."

- "I want to do it myself." Maddie replied.

- "That makes more sense." The bionic boy chuckled. "Spike wasn't too annoying?"

- "No, he's nice. I like him." The alien girl said.

- "Really?" The Davenport boy frowned.

- "Yeah." The Matthews girl nodded. "But I don't like him as much as I like you."

- "Good to know that I still have a special place in your heart." The green hazel-eyed boy smiled.

You always will. The blue-eyed girl thought.

- "You always will, Chase." She replied.

Chase blushed, brightly.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

A couple of hours later, Chase was on a towel, in his swim trunks, laying on his stomach as he tanned on the roof.

I can't believe Adam ruined my birthday party. He sighed, sadly.

Maddie teleported. Wow, the view. She gulped. Focus. She shook her head.

- "Get up." She ordered as she walked in front of him.

- "Why?" He looked at her.

- "Just trust me." The alien girl said.

The bionic boy sighed and got up.

The Matthews girl's eyes widened as she stared at his muscles contracting as he got up.

- "So, what now?" The Davenport boy put his hands on his hips, giving full view of his torso and arms to his best friend.

I could spend the rest of my life connecting those dots. The blue-eyed girl smiled as she looked at his freckles and beauty marks all over his upper body.

- "Mads?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "Mmm?" Maddie looked at his eyes.

- "Why are you staring at me?" Chase frowned.

- "I was just looking at your beauty marks. You have a lot." The alien girl looked down at his chest.

- "Yeah. I know." The bionic boy snickered as he, slightly, blushed due to her glance.

- "Anyway." The Matthews girl shook her head. "I have a surprise." She smiled and looked at his eyes.

- "What did you do?" The Davenport boy asked.

- "Wait for it." The blue-eyed girl took out her phone and sent a message.

The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

- "Come with me." Maddie opened a portal towards his bedroom and extended her hand.

Chase frowned but took her hand, without hesitating.

The geniuses walked through the portal leading to his room.

- "What now?" The bionic boy asked.

- "Now, you still trust me." The alien girl led him out of the room by the hand.

She could make me walk for hours if she holds my hand the entire time. The Davenport boy smiled, softly, as he looked at their hands.

The Matthews girl led him in the living room, where he saw his siblings and all the people he had invited were outside by the pool.

- "How...?" The green hazel-eyed boy started.

- "I told them that Donnie had created a robot of you and that it got mad when Adam insulted it." The blue-eyed girl explained. "Since your dad creates crazy inventions, they believed me. And I didn't tell them about Spike, because they don't need to know about your alter ego."

- "This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me." Chase said as a single tear fell on his cheek.

- "No, it's your birthday. No tears." Maddie put her free hand on his cheek and wiped the tear with her thumb.

- "You're saying that?" The bionic boy snickered.

- "I don't know what you're talking about." The alien girl chuckled as she continued to caress his cheek.

- "Thank you. You really are the best." The Davenport boy smiled as his thumb caressed her hand.

- "Stop it." The Matthews girl rolled her eyes.

- "I'm serious, Mads. Just take the compliment and shut it." The green hazel-eyed boy snickered.

- "Fine. You're welcome." The blue-eyed girl replied.

- "It wasn't that hard, was it?" Chase smirked.

- "Shut it." Maddie scoffed, amused, before pulling both of her hands away.

I wanna give her a 'thank you' kiss. The bionic boy thought. But where? He frowned.

- "Come on, birthday boy. Let's go!" The alien girl grabbed his hand and started to walk away.

No, come back here. The Davenport boy pulled back on her hand and made her crash against his chest.

The Matthews girl looked up at him. He's so close. I wanna kiss him again. She, furtively, looked at his soft, pink lips.

The green hazel-eyed boy put both of his hands on her cheeks, before placing a delicate kiss on her forehead.

The blue-eyed girl closed her eyes, in satisfaction.

Everyone outside cheered. The geniuses pulled away.

Chase blushed brightly.

- "Come on, out!" Maddie pushed him towards the door.

- "Happy birthday!" Everyone yelled.

The bionic boy smiled.

- "Thank you!" He exclaimed.

Everyone dispersed and went back to their occupations. Adam walked up to his brother.

- "I wanted to say that I'm sorry for ruining your birthday. I shouldn't have insulted you on your big day." He said.

That's sweet. The alien girl thought.

- "Thank you. I appreciate that." The green hazel-eyed boy smiled.

The tall guy hugged his brother, before walking away.

Aw. The blue-eyed girl smiled.

- "How did you do that?" The Davenport boy asked.

- "We just had a little talk after I hurt him." The Matthews girl smiled. "Nothing about how you feel, just a little lecture."

- "You're impossible." Chase chuckled.

- "That's why you love me." Maddie smirked.

- "Yeah." The bionic boy smiled.

The alien girl took off her jeans and her oversize t-shirt, revealing a bright red one piece swimsuit with a small cleavage.

Oh, wow. The Davenport boy's eyes widened. She looks so... Wow. He looked down at her torso, before, quickly, looking up at her face. No! Be respectful.

The Matthews girl looked up at him.

- "What?" She asked.

- "You're wearing red." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Yes?" The blue-eyed girl frowned. "I'm a dark brunette. It's one of the colors that suit me the best."

- "You're wearing my favorite color, and I'm wearing yours." Chase looked down at his navy blue swim trunks.

- "Oh my god, yes." Maddie chuckled. "Blue suits you."

- "Red suits you." The bionic boy, lightly, blushed.

- "Thank you." The alien girl smiled. "Come on, birthday boy." She grabbed his hand and led in the pool.

The geniuses joined his siblings in the pool.

- "Adam, what's that on your arm?" The youngest Davenport pointed at his brother's arm.

- "It's a bruise." Adam replied.

- "You did that?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked his best friend.

The blue-eyed girl shrugged as she smiled.

Chase shook his head, amused.
