Two days later, the two older brothers were in the Lab. Adam was in a golf cart, with a dummy in the passenger seat.

- "Alright, Adam. I borrowed Big D's hydrogen-powered golf cart to help you practice for your driving test." Leo explained. "First step, seat belts."

- "Okay... focus." The tall guy grunted and attached his seatbelt. "Yes! Zero to buckle in, under five seconds." He, happily, high-fived his brother.

Chase entered the lab and chuckled.

- "Oh, look, a dummy driving a dummy." He said.

- "Ooh, what does this button do?" The oldest pressed a button and the cart started to drive.

- "No!" The short boy yelled.

- "Aah!" The genius boy screamed as he saw the cart speeding towards him.

- "Brake!" The Dooley boy shouted.

Adam hit the brakes. The dummy flew out of the car and landed on the youngest brother, making him fall to the ground. The green hazel-eyed boy grunted.

- "Wish all buttons did that." The tall guy chuckled.

The next day, the three younger siblings and their best friend were in the living room. The Dooley boy was pacing in the room, while the three others were relaxing on the couch.

Claire had another trial outside of Mission Creek. So since Saturday, Maddie was staying with the Davenports until her mother came back on Wednesday.

- "I cannot believe Adam's not back from his driving test. What's taking him so long?" Leo asked.

- "Two words: Adam. Test." Bree replied.

- "Man, if he passes, it's good news for us and bad news for everyone on the road." Chase said, before laughing. "Or the sidewalk."

The girls chuckled.

- "Poor people." The alien girl shook her head.

- "Well, he has to pass. I need him to drive me to that party on Saturday." The short boy explained.

- "What party?" The genius boy asked.

Leo laughed.

- "The one you weren't invited to." He said, seriously.

- "You got invited to Caroline Davis' party and I didn't?" Bree questioned, in disbelief.

- "Neither did I!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed.

- "Well, no surprise there." The bionic girl replied.

The youngest Davenport frowned, offended. I know. I'm a nerd and I'm boring.

The Matthews girl put a hand on his shoulder.

- "You're not the only one who didn't get invited. That doesn't mean you're not cool." She whispered and smiled.

Well, Mads thinks I'm cool. That's all that matters to me. Chase smiled at her.

- "Thanks, Mads." He said.

- "But why were you invited?" The Davenport girl asked.

- "Oh, Bree, I'm climbing the social ladder. There are now three or four ladies who make eye contact with me in the hallway." The short boy explained. The three frowned at him. "Okay, it's two! But I'm going to the party."

- "Were you invited?" Bree asked her best friend.

- "Yeah." Maddie replied. "But I'm not going."

- "Why not?" The bionic girl questioned.

- "Because we are not friends. She's just a popular girl." The alien girl explained.

- "So you're not going?" The Davenport girl asked, in disbelief.

- "Nope. I'll just tell her that my mom had something already planned." The Matthews girl shrugged.

- "Seriously?" The green hazel-eyed boy questioned.

- "Yeah, plus, I rather stay with you." The blue-eyed girl looked at the Davenport boy, who blushed slightly.

The door opened, and the four got up the couch.

- "He's home!" Bree exclaimed.

Tasha entered. The siblings groaned, while the bionic siblings sat back on the couch.

- "It's just you." The Dooley boy sighed.

- "Nice to see you, too." The mother replied.

- "Hi, Tasha." Maddie smiled.

- "At least, one of you is happy to see me." The journalist answered.

- "Sorry, mom. How's it going?" Leo smiled.

- "Great. I've had the best day." Tasha started. "It all started when I went to..."

The door opened and Donald entered.

- "Save it for later, woman! Adam's here!" The short boy pushed his mother aside and walked with his siblings and best friend, towards the father.

- "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Mission Creek's newest fully licensed driver!" The scientist exclaimed and gestured towards the door, but nothing happened. "Adam, that's you." He whispered to his oldest son.

- "Oh, right." Adam replied and ran in. "Woo-hoo, I passed!" He yelled.

Everyone cheered for him.

- "He really impressed me. He got a 96 on the test." Donald explained.

- "I didn't even know scores went up that high!" The tall guy exclaimed.

- "Shocking." The alien girl whispered to the genius boy, who nodded.

- "Oh, and get this, Mr. Davenport said if I passed, he'd buy me a car." The oldest sibling said.

- "What?" The mother yelled.

- "Well, in my defense, I never thought he would pass." The father whispered.

- "Yeah, none of us did." The bionic girl replied.

- "Preachin' to the choir, people." Adam nodded.

- "Donald, are you sure he's ready for a car? You remember what happened when you bought him a bike?" The journalist questioned.

Sunday, 10th March 2013

The happily married couple was sitting on the couch, talking when Adam entered the house with a completely wrecked bike, which was smocking.

- "The bell still works." He dinged the bell, before walking away.

Donald threw his head back, in despair, before burying his face in his wife's neck.

- "Why?" He whimpered against his wife's skin.

- "I don't know, honey." Tasha chuckled as she, gently, caressed his back.

Monday, 11th November 2013

Donald frowned.

- "Um... to be fair, honey, Adam is a lot more responsible now. He worked very hard to get his driver's license, and I think he should be rewarded." He explained.

Adam imitated driving noises, brakes screeching and an explosion.

- "I don't know." Tasha shook her head.

- "Don't worry, I promise I will get Adam the safest car available." The father replied.

- "The safest car is the one he isn't driving." Chase said.

Maddie snickered.

- "Not true. I've caused many wrecks as a pedestrian." The tall guy explained.

- "Okay, let's go." The scientist walked away with his wife.

- "If he gets into an accident within the first week, no sex for a month." The two geniuses heard with their developed hearing Tasha whispering to her husband.

Gross. The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

The blue-eyed girl snickered.

- "Shh, she can hear you." Donald murmured.

Who can? The youngest Davenport thought.

Yes, I can. Maddie smiled.

- "We both know she saw worse." The mother whispered.

What the heck? Chase thought.

True. The alien girl snickered.

The genius boy turned to look at his best friend, who, innocently, smiled at him. He frowned. Why am I so suspicious? She's always been nothing but kind and respectful towards me. Why am I doubting her?

It's a matter of days, before he finds out. The Matthews girl gulped and looked away.

- "I don't care what car it is, as long as you give me a ride to Caroline Davis' party. I don't know if you heard I was invited." Leo said in his sister's face.

- "Enough!" Bree shouted.

The youngest Davenport rolled his eyes.

Tuesday, 12th November 2013

The next day, the three younger siblings and best friend were sitting in the school's cafeteria.

- "Take care, ladies! See you at the party!" Leo said to two girls, before turning to his siblings. "Oh, did I tell you I was invited to the par..."

- "YES!" The bionic siblings shouted.

The short boy grinned, widely.

- "You're a jerk." Maddie chuckled.

- "There are my little babies!" Tasha exclaimed as she walked in the room. "Mind if I join you?" She took a chair and sat between the geniuses.

Oh, come on! Between Chase and me? Really? The alien girl complained.

The siblings' eyes widened.

- "What are you doing here, mom?" Bree asked.

- "I'm here because I decided to run for president of the PTA!" The mother explained.

- "Aww, that's nice. What school? 'Cause I know it's not this one!" The Dooley boy yelled.

- "With Adam, getting his license and you, going to parties, it made me realize you're all growing up, so I'm going to get A LOT more involved with your school lives." The journalist replied.

- "Well, Leo could definitely use a chaperone for the party this weekend." Chase said.

Seriously? The Matthews girl glared at him.

The genius boy smiled at her.

Stop smiling at me, like that. Damn it. The blue-eyed girl rolled her eyes, smiling.

- "No! No, no, no!" Leo shouted and got up, quickly, making fall his chair. "Mom, why are you doing this? What is missing in your life? I can pay for art classes!"

- "Oh, Leo, this will be fun!" Tasha exclaimed and got up. "If I get elected, I will be here all the time! We'll eat lunch, gossip; I can talk you up to the gals."

- "The gals?" The short boy asked.

- "Tasha, it didn't end well, last time, you got involved in Leo's love life." Maddie said.

- "You're right. So, just lunch and gossip." The mother replied.

- "Get her out! Get her out!" The Dooley boy yelled to his siblings and best friend.

- "Don't worry. Once the ladies see how Mom rocks it, ooh! You are going to be so popular!" The journalist exclaimed.

- "You really are." The bionic siblings replied, simultaneously.

- Hi, I'm Leo, Chase, and Bree's mom." Tasha walked up to another table.

- "Did she say she was our mom, too?" Bree frowned.

- "Yep." The alien girl smiled.

- "Oh, no." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

The Matthews girl moved to the chair next to Chase.

- "Not so funny anymore, huh?" She asked, in a whisper.

- "No." The genius boy scoffed. "Stop it."

- "I didn't do anything." Maddie replied.

- "I can hear you thinking, 'that's karma'." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "You know me so well." The alien girl smirked.

Chase rolled his eyes, smiling.

- "I'm running for president of the PTA, which is 'Pretty Totally Awesome', right?" The mother said, before turning to her children.

- "No!" The siblings exclaimed, simultaneously.

- "Be sure to tell your parents to vote for me: Tasha Davenport! T-Dav to you, kids. Holler!" The journalist exclaimed, happily.

The girls at the table shook their head, embarrassed.

- "Moms, we all got 'em, am I right?" Leo chuckled, nervously, before hiding under the table where his siblings and best friend were eating.

- "You're okay, Leo?" The blue-eyed girl asked under the table.

- "No. I'm staying here." The short boy got into fetal position.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the younger bionic siblings were against the lockers, talking, while their best friend was talking to Leo, who was disguised as a girl to escape his mother.

- "You look so ridiculous." Maddie chuckled.

- "I know, but just delete the photo you took." The short boy said.

- "In your dreams." The alien girl replied. "I am keeping this preciously, like the picture of Chase at his first party."

- "Seriously, Mads?" Chase frowned.

- "What? It's not my fault you don't know how to eat cake, properly." The Matthews girl raised her hands, in the air.

The genius boy rolled his eyes, amused.

- "Guys, get this." Tasha walked towards them, and the Dooley boy turned around to hide his face. "I am the only candidate for PTA president. I'm gonna win! Car washes, bake sales, fundraisers. I'll be here all the time." She explained, excited.

- "That is great news." Bree replied.

- "Leo's gonna be so happy, like we are." The youngest sibling smiled. The mother hugged the bionic siblings, quickly, before walked away. "Ahem."

Leo turned around.

- "We have to stop her." He said.

- "Uh, we? What's in it for us?" The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "You do realize, she's your mom, too?" The blue-eyed girl asked.

- "Yes, but people only see her as our step-mom, so it's worse for Leo." The bionic girl explained.

- "Oh, come on! I'm desperate!" The short boy exclaimed as he took off his wig.

- "Well, you could get us into your cool party." The Davenport girl replied.

- "Oh, Bree. That's cute. But at the end of the day, I am who I am, and you are who..." The Dooley boy started, but his siblings started to walk away. "Alright, fine, I'll get you in the party!" He yelled. "Just tell me how we're gonna get rid of mom."

- "Easy. We just have to find someone to run against her and win." Chase explained.

- "How about your mom?" Leo asked his best friend. "Claire is cool and not invasive."

- "Which is why she won't do it. To respect my privacy." Maddie grinned.

- "We need someone who is power hungry and ruthless and enjoys crushing other people's dreams." Bree replied.

- "Go home, maggots!" Perry walked out of her office. "It's 3:30 and I wanna chain up!" She walked away with chains.

The siblings looked at each other, smirking.

- "That describes her pretty well." The alien girl chuckled.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, that evening, the three youngest siblings and their best friend were eating on the couch and the armchair with the Davenport couple.

- "And, just like I promised, I got Adam a very safe and practical car." Donald smirked.

- "Look, I know equations." Chase said from the armchair. "Adam plus safe doesn't exactly work."

Maddie snickered, from the couch.

- "So, where is he?" The genius boy asked.

- "Maybe he forgot how to get home." Bree said. "Again." She sighed, annoyed.

- "Come on, four times in one week? What are the odds?" The father questioned.

- "I'd say ninety-nine percent of chance." The alien girl replied. "Do you agree?" She looked at the youngest Davenport, who nodded.

- "You guys get the stapler. I'll get the 'Lost Adam' flyers." The green hazel-eyed boy sighed.

They, all, got up.

- "We should put an air tag on him." The Matthews girl said.

- "Definitely." The bionic girl replied.

- "Guys! Check out my new ride!" Adam shouted from outside.

- "He's here!" Leo yelled and ran out, excited. "Let's go."

The six ran outside. They, all, stared in shock at the monster truck in front of them.

- "Isn't it awesome?" The tall guy yelled. "And I only had to fill the tank twice on the way home."

Tasha turned angrily to her husband.

- "Inside! Now!" The mother shouted at her oldest son, who, quickly, obeyed.

- "Good luck." Maddie patted Donald's and Adam's shoulders, before walking away with Bree.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

While the parents were lecturing Adam, the girls were in the Davenport's girl room. They were laid down on her bed.

- "I wanna be shocked that Adam bought a monster truck, but I'm not." Maddie said.

- "Right, my dad should've seen it coming since he's such a 'genius'. Bree mocked.

The alien girl chuckled.

- "B?" She said.

- "Yeah?" The bionic girl turned her head to look at her best friend.

- "Are you sure you're okay with the break-up?" The Matthews girl asked.

- "Yeah, I'm fine. I broke up with him." The Davenport replied.

- "I know, but that doesn't mean you're fine with it." The blue-eyed girl said.

- "Well, I am." The brown-eyed girl smiled. Maddie frowned. "What?"

- "Nothing." The alien girl looked at the ceiling. Bree raised her eyebrows. "It's just that I don't understand why you dated him in the first place."

- "Because I liked him." The bionic girl lied. "I know you hated him, but I liked him."

- "Right." The Matthews girl replied. "How's Caitlin?"

- "She's fine. She asked me to go to the movies on Sunday." The Davenport girl smiled widely, towards the ceiling.

- "Good." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

- "What?" The brown-eyed girl asked.

- "I didn't say anything." Maddie said.

- "You're thinking about something." Bree replied.

- "It's nothing." The alien girl answered.

The bionic girl frowned.

- "You know." She, simply, said.

- "Know what?" The Matthews girl asked.

- "That I..." The Davenport girl took a deep breath.

- "We don't need to talk about it if you're not ready. You don't even need to say it out loud." The blue-eyed girl side-hugged her best friend.

- "I want to say it. At least to you." The brown-eyed girl sighed. "I need to accept it. I need to accept that I like... Caitlin. I like girls."

Maddie smiled.

- "I'm proud of you. And I'm really happy you felt comfortable enough to tell me." She said, as she hugged her best friend, tighter.

- "Thank you." Bree smiled. "It felt good to say it." She sighed, in relief. "You know I was scared to tell you."

- "Why?" The alien girl frowned.

- "Because in a lot of movies, the girl tells her best friend that she likes girls. And the best friend thinks she likes her and checks her out, all the time, and that ruins their friendship." The bionic girl explained. "I didn't want to ruin our friendship."

- "That's so stupid!" The Matthews girl exclaimed and sat down. Her best friend sat down, as well, next to her. "It's not because you like girls that it would ruin our friendship. I, honestly, don't care what gender you are into. What I care about is your happiness and that you find someone who treats you right. The fact that you like girls doesn't change anything. You're my best friend and I love you."

Tears formed in the Davenport girl's eyes. She hugged, tightly, her best friend.

- "I love you, too, M." She whispered.

- "I won't say anything. You don't have to worry about that." The genius girl murmured.

The two girls sat there, in silent, hugging each other, for a while.

They pulled apart and the brown-eyed girl wiped the tears of happiness that fell down on her cheeks.

- "It feels so good to say it. I like girls." She chuckled.

- "I bet." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

The two girls laid down on the bed, again.

- "So, you don't care about Caitlin being a psycho?" Maddie asked.

Bree laughed, loudly.

- "M!" She smacked her best friend's arm.

- "Sorry." The alien girl chuckled.

The two best friends laughed.

Wednesday, 13th November 2013

The next day, the Davenport girl was sitting on the circular bench, in the main school hallway, with Leo disguised as an old man.

- "Guys, guess what?" Chase ran towards them.

- "What?" The short boy asked.

- "Leo!" The genius boy yelled.

- "No. I'm the new chemistry teacher, Mr. Tate." The Dooley boy smiled.

Bree ripped off Leo's fake mustache, and he screamed in a high-pitch.

- "So, get this. I checked the PTA election rules, and you don't have to be a parent to run for president." The youngest Davenport explained. "Principal Perry is totally eligible."

- "Well, that's great! And you know that if she runs, she's gonna cheat and make sure she wins." The bionic girl replied. "You can always count on that woman to do the wrong thing."

- "But how do we convince her to run? I mean, the only things that motivate that woman are revenge, rage, and kitty calendars." The short boy explained.

- "Well, then we just have to find a way to make her mad at mom and then trick her into doing it." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "How?" The Dooley boy asked.

- "Maybe a little bionic vocal manipulation is in order." The Davenport girl smirked, before turning to Leo. "There's my little Bug-A-Boo. Come give Mommy some sugar!" She exclaimed as she used Tasha's voice.

This is so weird. Chase frowned.

- "Okay, that never stops being weird." The short boy replied, before walking away.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, at lunch, the middle siblings were looking for their mother, in the cafeteria, while Chase went to get Principal Perry.

- "Okay, Chase is getting Perry. You go handle mom." Bree whispered.

- "Got it." Leo replied and walked towards his mother. "Mom! Hey, I was thinking about it and you were right. It is going to be so much fun having you around here every day." He smiled.

Tasha squealed and hugged her son, while the brown-eyed girl, quickly, hid under the table behind the two.

- "I knew you would come around." The mom giggled.

- "Hey, love me, don't break me." The short boy pulled away. "So, to be an effective PTA president, you need to be in touch with your students, know what they like, listen to their music." He explained.

- "Don't worry, Leo. I'm picking up what you're putting down." The journalist smiled widely.

- "You're trying too hard." The Dooley replied.

Mother and son sat at the table.

- "This better be important, shrub head." Perry said as she followed the genius boy.

- "Quick! Put these on." Leo gave ear buds to his mother.

- "Ooh, these jams are pumped up!" Tasha exclaimed.

The short boy gestured to her to be quiet.

- "I just thought that maybe you'd like to hear what our future PTA president is saying about you behind your back." The green hazel-eyed boy explained.

The principal scoffed.

- "I am shocked at the lack of professionalism around this school. And it all starts with that tyrant Principal Perry." The bionic girl said with her mother's voice.

- "Well, that's obvious." Perry smiled.

- "When I'm president, I'm gonna make it my mission to get her fired!" The Davenport girl exclaimed with Tasha's voice.

- "Fired? She can't do that!" The principal exclaimed.

- "Technically, as PTA president, she can. It's right here in the rule book." Chase explained and handed the rule book to Perry.

- "Let me see that!" She grabbed the rule book out of his hands.

- "Oh, one more thing, I hate cats." Bree said with the Davenport woman's voice.

The principal gasped, loudly.

- "The claws are out now!" She yelled.

- "You know, maybe you should run against her." The genius boy suggested.

- "Against her? I'm gonna run over her!" Perry smacked the rule book against his chest and walked, furiously, towards Tasha. "Hey!"

That worked better than expected. The green hazel-eyed boy smirked as he helped his sister get up from under the table.

Leo ran towards his siblings, leaving the two women alone.

- "Oh, hi, Principal Perry!" The Davenport woman exclaimed. "Did you hear? No one is running against me. I'm going to be PTA president."

- "Not in this lifetime, Mitzy Von Minivan." The principal replied, and Tasha's smile faded. "I'm in the race now, and around here, the only thing PTA stands for is Putting Tanya Away."

- "My name is Tasha." The journalist corrected.

- "Still starts with a 'T'!" Perry said and walked away.

This is perfect. Chase chuckled.

- "What did you do?" Maddie asked as she walked in.

- "We turned Perry against mom." The short boy explained.

- "You couldn't just talk to your mom?" The alien girl asked. The siblings frowned. "Bree, you put boundaries about your room. You told her you wanted privacy, and she listened."

- "She did." Bree sighed.

- "You just needed to explain to her that you want school to be parents' free. You could've suggested hanging out one day, every month, just children and mother. She would've been happy." The Matthews girl explained. "You, three, need to grow up and start talking about your problems and your needs. You are not babies, you can talk." She scoffed and walked away.

- "Wow." The genius boy said.

- "She is such a mom, sometimes." The Dooley boy shook his head.

- "Maybe, but she's right." The bionic girl answered.

- "Like always." The green hazel-eyed boy sighed.

I disappointed her. He thought.

- "Go." Leo told his brother, who nodded.

Chase ran after his best friend.

- "Mads." He grabbed her wrist to make her stop. "You're right; we should've talked to our mom. But we are not as mature as you are. I'm sorry for disappointing you." He sighed and lowered his head as he let go of her wrist.

Maddie rolled her eyes.

- "You didn't disappoint me, your actions did." She replied. "And it's not just you. It's Bree and Leo, as well." She sighed. "I wouldn't have said that. The three of you are teenagers, and you're not me; you have the right not be mature. It's a part of growing up: making immature mistakes and learning from them." She looked at the Davenport boy, who was still looking at the floor. "You could never disappoint me, Chase." She said, softly.

- "Really?" The genius boy, quickly, looked at her.

- "Yes." The Matthews girl wrapped her arms around his back and hugged him, tightly.

The green hazel-eyed boy closed his eyes, in relief, as he closed his arms around her waist.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, after school, the vote for the PTA election was starting in the school gym.

- "Let's do this already! I'm late for my shift at the Gas n' Go." Perry complained. "What are you looking at?" She asked a parent.

- "Hey mom? Are you sure you wanna go through with this? Principal Perry is merciless and will do anything to win. She has the battle scars to prove it." Leo said to his mother.

- "Have a little faith in your mom." Tasha replied.

- "Oh, I have lots of faith." The short boy smiled, before walking away. "That Principal Perry will destroy you."

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the candidates were getting ready to explain why they should be chosen as president of the PTA.

Perry walked over the microphone and cleared her voice, nastily.

- "Vote for me. I know where you live." She said and walked away. The three younger siblings clapped loudly as the crowd clapped, hesitantly. "Good luck with that, mom jeans. This election's mine." She smirked at Tasha.

- "Before I lay out my platform, I spent some time going through the schools accounting records..." The mother started in the microphone, before the principal, quickly, jumped out of her seat and walked towards the Davenport woman.

Good job, Tasha. Maddie snickered.

- "I withdraw." Perry said in the microphone.

- "What are you doing?" Leo asked.

- "Saving a fortune in legal fees." The principal whispered.

- "Wait, hold on. According to the rules, it is past the deadline to withdraw." Chase explained.

- "He's right, so we still need to hear final speeches and then vote." Bree replied.

- "No speech. I vote Tasha." Perry said before she started chanting. She grabbed the Davenport woman's arm and put it in the air. "Tasha! Tasha! Tasha! Don't make me do all the work. Tasha! Tasha! Tasha!"

The crowd clapped and chanted her name. Tasha cleared her voice and continued her speech.

- "And once I'm president, Mission Creek will as smoothly as my very own happy family." She smiled and pointed at her three younger children, who were looking at the floor to hide their faces.

The monster truck burst through the back wall of gym and everyone ran out, screaming. The alien girl looked around and used her super speed to save the Davenport woman from being crushed.

- "Thank you, sweetie." The mother sighed as they walked towards the trio.

- "Quick! Back up before she sees us!" Adam said and hid in the truck.

- "DONALD!" An angry Tasha shouted.

- "Vote for Tasha!" Donald honked the truck horn.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, the Davenports and Maddie were looking at the damages done by the monster truck.

- "Well, thanks to you, I totally lost the election. Not one person voted for me." Tasha sighed, sadly.

- "YES!" The three younger siblings exclaimed, simultaneously.

The mother looked at them.

- "You will get 'em next year, mom." Leo replied.

The trio ran out, happily.

- "Because of you, Perry won." The Davenport woman told her husband.

- "Don't be mad at Mr. Davenport I can explain everything." Adam said.

- "Thank you." Donald replied.

- "It all started when he decided to keep the truck and hide it from you." The tall guy explained.

- "What?" Tasha yelled, angrily.

- "Get me out of here!" Perry shouted from under the bricks.

- "Is that Principle Perry?" The mother asked.

- "No, it's Taylor Swift." The principal sassed.

Adam gasped, excitedly.

- "That's not true, Adam." The alien girl patted his shoulder. The oldest teenager sighed. "But she should go to one of her concerts, one day."

- "Oooh, yeah!" The tall guy exclaimed.

- "She's under there!" The father yelled and dug her out with the Matthews girl's help.

- "Are you ok?" The Davenport woman asked.

- "Well, I'm fine, but my cupcake isn't." Perry replied. "I don't know if that's fiber glass or sprinkles. Eh, it's all going to the same place." She ate the cupcake as the four looked at her, in disgust.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, that evening, after dinner, Maddie was in the mansion with the Davenports. She was sitting on the couch with the four siblings.

- "I can't believe you've never watched 'Arrow'." She said to the four siblings. "He's THE best superhero, ever!"

- "And I can't believe how much of a nerd you are." Bree shook her head.

- "Being a nerd is not an insult. I love it." The alien girl smiled.

She's so cute. The genius boy smiled, fondly.

- "Perfect for you." Adam whispered to his youngest brother, who blushed brightly.

- "Stop, saying nonsense." Chase murmured to his older brother.

- "I still can't get a hold of Claire." Tasha said to the kids and her husband. "It's not normal. She's never late."

- "Maybe her phone died." Leo replied.

- "Yeah, it has to be." Donald smiled. "What else could it be?"

It could be so many things. The genius girl thought.

- "You're right." The Davenport woman sighed. "Maddie, sweetie, if your mom doesn't arrive in one hour, you'll stay here for tonight."

- "Okay." The blue-eyed girl nodded.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

- "I'll get it." The tall guy got up and opened the door. He froze. "Mom!" He shouted, panicked.

The mother walked to the door and saw two police officers: a man and a woman.

He had dirty blonde short hair and blue eyes. He was 6'2.

She had dark brown hair, tied in a bun, and brown eyes. She was 5'5.

- "Good evening, can we help you?" She asked, kindly.

- "I'm Officer Bradford, and this is Officer Lopez." The tall man said and gestured to his colleague. "We are looking for Maddison Matthews."

The alien girl looked at her four best friends and then, got up.

- "I'm Maddison." She said.

She, quickly, read the mind of the two strangers.

What she saw shook her to her core.

They were Krees and had kidnapped her mother, earlier in the day. Claire was hurt; they were going to kill her.

We know you can read minds, come with us and don't say anything, if you want Cy-Ja to live. The 'officer Bradford' thought.

- "I'm sorry to inform you, that your mother was in a car accident." Officer Bradford said, faking empathy. "Her car exploded. She did not survive. We need you to come with us."

- "What? No..." The Matthews girl let a few tears fell on her cheeks, so the Davenports wouldn't suspect anything.

Every of Davenport's jaws were on the floor, as tears formed in their eyes.

- "I am so sorry, honey." Tasha side-hugged her best friend's daughter.

Maddie, quickly, broke the hug and wiped her tears.

- "Where are you taking her?" Donald walked behind the alien girl and he, protectively, put his hands on her shoulders.

- "We cannot tell you, you are not her family. We are sorry." Officer Lopez explained. "Come with us."

The genius girl walked out the door with the two fake officers. She got in the back seat of the police car with the woman.

- "Where are you taking me?" Maddie asked.

- "To see your 'mommy'." The woman, Cha-Tann, mocked. "Isn't what you wanted?"

The two Krees laughed.
