Two days later, the school was closed for the day because the teachers and the principal were at a conference. Tasha, Donald, and Claire had taken a day off to spend the day together, with their children.

The four Davenport children followed their father into the lab. He wanted to show them his new invention.

- "Inventing the wheel? Boring." He started. "Discovering electricity? Snooze. Sliced bread? Lame. But now, Davenport Industries introduces the world's first..." He unveiled his invention that was displayed on two tables further away and facing each other. "Proton Fuser!"

That was lame. Chase thought.

- "You know, for a scientist, you'd think your payoffs would be a bit more proportionate to your buildups." Leo said.

Thank you. The genius boy smiled.

- "Uh, the payoff is that it allows us to see the origins of the universe. This thing fuses subatomic particles, so we can understand how planets form." The scientist explained.

- "Well, we already understand how boredom forms." Bree replied, and her three brothers nodded, in agreement.

- "Haven't you ever wondered where stuff comes from? Galaxies? Stars? Planets?" Donald asked.

- "This stuff, no. Onion rings, yes." Adam replied, happily.

The green hazel-eyed boy chuckled softly.

- "Guys, I have always wanted to build this thing, and now it's a reality." The father said. "It's an important life lesson: If you have a dream, believe in it, 'cause it can happen."

- "Um, Mr. Davenport, isn't it dangerous to tinker with the fabric of the universe?" The youngest davenport questioned.

- "He said 'tinker'." The tall guy giggled.

- "Yes, technically it could destabilize the earth, or open a wormhole into a parallel universe." The scientist explained. "But, I made it and I wanna play with it, so..." He said, excited.

This is very responsible. Chase sassed.

Donald pushed several buttons and the proton fuser created a small blue light. "Prepare to be amazed!"

- "Or gravely injured." The genius boy replied to his siblings.

Adam pushed the younger bionic siblings, behind him to protect them, while Leo hid behind his father. The proton fuser built up energy, but then fizzled out.

- "Once again, big buildup, teeny, tiny payoff." The short boy mocked.

- "Okay, Claire and Maddie are here." Tasha walked in, happily. "The popcorn is popping, and the movie is uploaded. Or downloaded." She frowned. "Whatever, the red thingy is blinking green. Just head upstairs, it's movie time!" She exclaimed.

- "Yes!" The green hazel-eyed boy smiled and walked away, followed by his father and older bionic siblings.

- "I do love a matinée." The Dooley boy replied.

- "Oh, hold it, mister." The Davenport mother stopped him. "No movie for you until you finish your chores. Your room is a mess, and you haven't washed the dishes in days." She explained.

- "But, I've been looking forward to this movie all week." Leo frowned.

- "And I've been looking forward to clean dishes all week." The journalist answered.

- "Really? Well, that's just sad." The short boy said.

Tasha glared at him, before walking away with her son. Suddenly, the proton fuser powered back up.

The bionic trio and the father walked in the living room.

- "M!" Bree, violently, hugged her best friend.

- "Violent." Maddie chuckled and hugged her back.

- "Hello, Claire." Donald greeted.

- "Hey." Claire smiled.

- "Hey, little lady." Adam hugged his best friend, with force, and lifted her off the floor.

Why he is always lifting her when he hugs her? Chase smiled.

- "Hey, big guy." The alien girl snickered. The tall guy put her back on the floor. "Thank you." She smiled.

- "Hey Mads." The genius boy wrapped his arms around his best friend's back as he hugged tightly.

- "Hey, Chase." The Matthews girl smiled against his shoulder.

They, quickly, pulled away because their families were around.

Tasha and Leo walked in the room.

- "To the dishes, mister." She ordered, before sitting on the couch. The short boy sighed and walked towards the sink. "Don't even think about it, Maddison. It's his chores, you are not helping him." She turned to the blue-eyed girl, who smiled awkwardly.

- "She knows you, baby girl." The lawyer chuckled.

- "Yes, I do." The Davenport mom smiled.

The younger bionic siblings sat in between the moms, while Donald sat next to his wife. The two strong ones sat on the carpet. Adam leaned against his sister's legs, while Maddie leaned against Chase's.

The genius boy looked down at her, smiling, as he felt her body against his.

A few minutes later, the Davenport-Matthews, except Leo, were laughing as they watched the movie at their original spot. The short boy was washing dishes and tried to sneak glances at the TV. He laughed.

- "Leo!" Tasha scolded.

- "Aah!" The Dooley boy dropped a plate, in shock, and it broke.

Claire paused the movie as her best friend got up.

- "I said no movie. First you won't do the dishes, then, you break them?" The Davenport mother asked.

- "Hey, you said you hate looking at dirty dishes, and that's one less to look at." Leo smiled.

Idiot. Maddie, silently, slapped her forehead. Why would you say that when she's already mad?

What? How? It's impossible. Chase frowned. That's the sound I sometimes hear in the lab or on missions.

- "That is it. No TV for the rest of the week." The journalist replied.

- "That's not fair." The short boy complained. "By the way, I've seen this movie. I wouldn't get too attached to that dog." He walked away.

The bionic trio looked at the screen, panicked.

- "You, as..." The alien girl started, but was cut off by the genius boy's hand.

- "Stop cursing." He said.

The Matthews girl rolled her eyes, amused.

Leo walked in the lab, dragging his feet.

- "Stupid chores." He sighed, before looking up at the proton fuser which was fully active and was starting to gain power. It sucked the short boy in. "I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. This isn't gonna end well." The Dooley boy wiggled and struggled against the force. "Help! Help! Help! Help! Please help!" He yelled before being aspired into the wormhole.

Universe 421

Leo fell onto the ground, before, quickly, getting up.

- "I do not know what just happened, but I need a bathroom!" He yelled and ran to the elevator.

The door closed, and a single circle could be seen instead of the usual three's.

The entire living room had different furniture and decorations, which were white and silver. The short boy stared, in shock.

- "Whoa." He said.

What the fuck? He thought.

- "Oh, you don't like my software design?" Tasha walked in, dressed like a businesswoman. "Well, that doesn't really matter, because you are fired!" She yelled in her comm. Set, before, hanging up.

- "Oh!" The Dooley boy knocked over a vase. "Mom, I'm so sorry, I didn't even know that was there."

- "Break whatever you want, Leo, I can afford a thousand of those." The mother replied.

- "You can?" Leo asked.

- "Of course. One of the many perks of being a billionaire." The businesswoman explained. "Well, that and being able to tease millionaires."

- "Wait, where is everybody? I thought we were watching a movie? And when did we move into an Italian furniture showroom?" The short boy questioned.

- "I don't have time for this, Leo. Tasha Technologies isn't going to run itself." Tasha started to walk away.

- "Tasha Technologies?" The Dooley boy whispered to himself.

- "Honey, toss me my keys." The mother said, softly.

Leo threw the keys to his mother, but they flew through the air, leaving a hole in the door.

- "Mom, did you see what I just did?" He asked, panicked.

- "Yeah. That was a good one. You took out the Goldberg's mailbox." The scientist chuckled. "Now, remember, honey, no using your bionics at school." She walked out.

- "What bionics?" The short boy frowned, before he shot lightning from his fingers, causing a chandelier to crash to the ground.

- "Leo, I heard a crash. Are you okay?" Donald ran in, wearing a white blouse, a sweater above a shirt and his hair were flattened.

- "I just shot lightning out of my fingers. I don't know what's going on, but I'm terrified to pick my nose." The Dooley boy explained.

- "That's one of your new bionic upgrades. You harness static electricity to form lightning bolts." The scientist explained. "I voted for sneezing thunder, but your mom shot me down."

- "So, I really am bionic? What else do I have? Super speed? Super strength? Super smarts?" Leo asked, excited.

- "Leo, you know you have these abilities." Donald replied.

- "Can I fly?" The short boy ran and tried to fly, causing him to face plant behind the couch.

Ow. He thought.

- "Nope. But your brilliant scientist inventor mom is working on it." The scientist smiled.

- "What are you talking about? You're the brilliant scientist." The Dooley boy said.

Donald snorted loudly.

- "No. No, I'm still just your mom's lab assistant." He explained. "Which reminds me, I should go, I'm not allowed upstairs when she's not home. So..." He started to walk away.

- "Wait, wait. You're not an inventor?" Leo asked.

- "Well, not officially. I mean, most of the stuff I invent either doesn't work or bursts into flames." The scientist replied. "See these eyebrows. Borrowed them from my back. But I did just finish a prototype on a proton fuser, so..."

- "Proton fuser. That's it! I must have traveled through a wormhole into this parallel universe!" the short boy answered.

- "Leo, you read too many comic books." Donald said. "Now, uh, off to school, and, uh, let's just keep this between you and I, okay?"

- "Okay. I promise, I will not let anyone know I have bionics." The Dooley boy promised.

- "No, no, no. I mean, don't tell your mom I was upstairs, or she'll take away my bathroom breaks." The scientist ran away to the lab.

My mom is a tyrant in this universe. Leo raised his eyebrows. I need to find Dee. With a little bit of hope, she's the same. He took his backpack and walked out of the mansion.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

The Dooley boy arrived at school.

- "Good morning, Leo!" Perry smiled widely as she held a tray of cookies.

She was wearing a flower dress, had a nice hairstyle, jewelry, and makeup.

- "Leo? You never call me by my first name. And according to legend, you haven't smiled since the sixties." Leo frowned.

- "I always smile when I see you! School board approved air hug?" The principal air gave the tray to a student, behind her. She hugged the short boy, with her eyes closed, while he backed away. "Oh, that is good." She pulled away. "Oh, no air hug back? Does my little schnookie need a cookie?" She smiled and showed him the tray of cookie.

- "I suppose your little schnookie could take a lookie at a cookie." The Dooley boy smiled and took a bite of one of the cookies. "Wow!" His eyes widened.

- "They're from our gourmet cafeteria." Perry explained.

- "Gourmet? This is coming from the woman who thinks mold is a vegetable?" Leo asked. They walked into the cafeteria. He saw three beautiful women. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Those are the lunch ladies?"

- "Yeah, we tried to find prettier ones, but, they'll do." The principal shrugged before walking away.

The short boy spotted his siblings.

At least, I found them. He sighed, in relief.

Adam was well-dressed entirely in black. Bree was dressed like a daddy's rich girl as she chewed gum with her mouth open. Chase was wearing a football jersey as he held a football.

- "Guys, there you are! This is unbelievable!" The Dooley boy exclaimed.

- "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, everyone, check it out. We got an exchange student from Nerdistan." Chase said, loudly. "Ha!" He held up his hand to high-five his brother, who looked away and wrote down in his notebook.

Says you. Leo frowned.

- "I wish you stopped talking, Chase, so I could finally have some vacations." Maddie sighed and she walked towards them.

The Matthews girl was wearing a cheerleader's uniform and a high ponytail. She didn't have glasses and was wearing makeup.

She looks so different. The short boy thought.

- "Make me, Matthews." The youngest Henderson replied and gestured to his lips.

- "You wish I would kiss you again." The blue-eyed girl scoffed. "I'm not even touching you with a stick."

Again?! The Dooley boy thought.

- "That's not what you were saying when I had my hands on your ass." The green hazel-eyed boy smirked.

What?! Leo thought.

Maddie blushed and rolled her eyes, annoyed.

- "It was a mistake. Ever talking to you was a mistake." She retorted. "We were a mistake." She said as tears threatened to fall down her cheeks.

Chase felt a sharp pain in his heart. It shouldn't hurt like this. We broke up.

- "Mads..." He started with tears in his eyes.

- "No. We are not doing this, here." The Matthews girl wiped her eyes.

- "Tree house?" The youngest Henderson whispered.

She's gonna crack. The short boy smiled.

The blue-eyed girl looked at him in the eyes, like she was trying to see if he was sincere.

They had known each other since they were babies. He was her first friend, her first crush, her first kiss, her first boyfriend and first love. He was the one who pushed her to try for the cheerleading squad. She was now the captain, like he was the captain of the football team.

They made the perfect cliché couple, until everything fell apart a couple of weeks ago.

Bree had told Maddie that Chase was using her for her popularity. She didn't believe it at first but then, Stephanie and Caitlin told her the same thing, after being threatened by the Henderson girl.

What the Matthews girl didn't know is that it was Bree's plan all along. The two had ever been able to stand each other.

The Henderson girl was ready to do everything to break them apart, and it had worked.

- "No. Go to hell, Chase." The blue-eyed girl walked away.

- "Baby..." The green hazel-eyed boy whispered as he looked at the woman he loved walk away from him.

I really lost her. He sighed and he closed his fists.

Ow. This hurts. The Dooley boy frowned.

- "Anyway, like, step off. We don't know you." Bree replied to Leo. "And FYI, I wouldn't put my poodle in that outfit."

- "Come on, guys. It's me, Leo. And you're Adam, Bree, and Chase Davenport." The short boy pointed at each one of them.

- "Uh, we're Adam, Bree, and Chase Henderson." Adam explained, before lowering himself to the Dooley's boy height. "Are you lost, little guy?"

The bell rang.

- "I don't understand." Leo frowned.

- "There's so much to not understand in life, isn't there? Like, what would happen if we all just stopped for a second and just existed." The tall guy replied. "Plus ça change, et les plus c'est la même chose." He said, in French.

- "Plus-ah-what?" The short boy yelled. "Okay, what is going on? Bree, help me out here."

The youngest sibling backed away with his hands in the air, when his sister walked up to the Dooley boy.

- "Okay, it's pronounced 'Breh'. Like 'Breath' but without the 'Th'." She explained and spat on his face.

- "What is wrong with you guys? We're all best friends." Leo explained. "And the best part is, I'm bionic now! See, I didn't even get to show you my lightning fingers!" He shot lightning out of his fingers. The trio screamed, in terror, and ran out of the room. "And those are my lightning fingers."

Shit. He thought.

Maddie was walking in the school hallway, when she was pulled into a storage closet.

- "AAHH...!" She started screaming, but was cut off the hand of her ex-boyfriend.

- "Don't scream." Chase said. The Matthews girl bit the palm of his hand. He pulled his hand, away and put both of his hands on each side of his ex-girlfriend's head. "I prefer when you bite my neck." He smirked.

- "Why can't you be serious?" The blue-eyed girl replied.

- "Because I'm trying to hide how much I'm hurting." The green hazel-eyed boy explained. "Why did you break up with me? Why do you hate me?"

- "You know why!" Maddie yelled.

- "No, I don't." Chase sighed.

- "The girls told me everything." The Matthews girl replied.

- "Told you what?" The Henderson boy asked. The blue-eyed girl stayed silent. "Baby, please." He whispered.

Maddie gulped as tears threatened to escape.

- "That you were using me for your popularity." She sighed.

- "Who the fuck is saying that?" Chase questioned, angrily.

- "Bree, Caitlin and Stephanie." The Matthews girl replied.

- "And you believed them?" The Henderson boy asked, with hurt in his voice.

- "They are three to say the same thing! How do you explain that?" The blue-eyed girl questioned, angrily, as tears fell on her cheeks.

- "Bree threatened them, obviously." The green hazel-eyed boy replied. Maddie sighed. "Baby, I would never do that to you. I love you more than anything." He, gently, caressed her cheek as she closed her eyes at the sensation. "You have to believe me, please, Mads." He begged as his voice broke.

- "I believe you." The Matthews girl blushed and smiled, through the tears.

Chase grabbed her face with both of his hands and pulled her into a slow, yet passionate kiss. Her hands went to his neck to bring him closer. His lips moved against hers in perfect synchronization, their tears mixing together on their cheeks.

They broke apart to catch their breaths.

- "God, I've missed you." The Henderson boy rested his forehead against hers.

- "I've missed you, too." The blue-eyed girl closed her eyes as she smiled. "I'm sorry."

- "For what?" The green hazel-eyed boy pulled his face away as he kept the rest of his body against hers.

- "For believing them, for making you suffer and for not trusting you." Maddie explained. "Forgive me, please."

- "Mmmm, I don't know." Chase said. "But you could do something to convince me to forgive you." He smirked. The Matthews girl frowned, amused. "Kiss me."

The blue-eyed girl snickered as her cheeks turned red.

- "I thought of something else." She explained.

- "Dirty girl." The Henderson boy chuckled.

- "Yeah, yeah, whatever." Maddie smiled widely.

- "So, are you gonna kiss me or not?" The green hazel-eyed boy whispered against her lips.

The Matthews girl smiled and put both of her hands on his cheeks.

- "Pretty boy." She looked at his entire face, in awe.

Chase gulped as he wetted his lips, before looking at hers. The blue-eyed girl pulled him into a sweet and slow kiss. His hands wrapped around her back. The green hazel-eyed boy hugged her tightly, like he was afraid she would disappear at any second.

One of her hands rested on his cheek, while the other slid down to his chest. The Matthews girl could feel his heart beating faster under the palm of her hand.

Maddie pulled her face away and kissed his forehead.

Chase sighed, in relief. He had found his way to the woman he loved. She was finally back, in his arms.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, Chase walked, furiously, towards his sister.

- "You, bitch, how dare you?" He yelled.

- "Dare to do what?" Bree frowned.

- "I talked to Mads. I know what you said about me!" The green hazel-eyed boy shouted. "I am in love with her, and you know that! Why would you break us apart?" He asked.

- "She's not good for you. She's a bitch." The brown-eyed girl scoffed.

- "Don't you dare talk about her like that!" The youngest yelled in her face. "Besides, you're calling someone else 'a bitch' is ironic." He spat.

- "Or what? What are you gonna do?" The sister laughed.

- "I will never speak to you ever again, if you try to break us apart again." Chase threatened.

- "You can't. I'm your sister!" Bree exclaimed, upset.

- "And she's the love of my life!" The green hazel-eyed boy yelled.

- "You're too young to know that." The brown-eyed girl scoffed.

- "I may be young, but I know what I feel." The youngest Henderson replied.

- "You would choose her over me?" The sister asked, in disbelief.

- "I don't want to, but if you push me, I will. I can live without you, but I can't live without her." Chase replied, before walking away.

- "Chase, wait!" Bree yelled, causing her brother to stop and look and her. "I'll stop." She sighed.

- "Thank you." The green hazel-eyed boy smiled, sadly. "Too bad, I had to threaten you for you to stop." He walked away.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, after school ended, Leo started to walk towards the exit.

- "Leo." Donald said.

- "Hey, what are you doing here?" The short boy asked.

- "I always pick you up from school. A, your mother insists on it, and B, it's the few minutes a day I can enjoy natural sunlight." The scientist chuckled.

- "This world is so much different from my world." The Dooley boy replied.

- "Well, my world is limited to the lab. That, and of course the thrill I get for fifteen minutes a day coming to pick you up. Stoplights are awesome!" Donald exclaimed.

- "Hey, Leo." Adam said as he walked in with his younger siblings and Maddie.

- "Hey, look who made some friends." The scientist smiled.

- "That's Adam, Bree, Chase, and Dee. You don't recognize them?" Leo asked.

- "Uh, no." Donald shook his head.

- "Dee?" The blue-eyed girl frowned.

'Dee'? Why the fuck is he calling her that? Chase frowned.

- "Dude, don't give a nickname to my girlfriend." He replied.

So, they are back together. The short boy thought. They can't stay apart. He smiled.

- "Oh, hey, look, it's the dude who gets all excited at stoplights." The green hazel-eyed boy waved at him.

- "Um, you guys, uh, take your time. I'm gonna be in the car, playing with the windows." The scientist ran out, smiling.

- "Leo, we have a confession. We believe what you said earlier." Bree said.

- "Yeah, and we want you to know that your bionic secret is safe within us." The tall guy explained.

- "I agree." The Matthews girl smiled.

- "Finally. It's good to have you guys back!" The short boy hugged the four, who hugged him back.

A black man, wearing a black suit, walked in.

- "Now, now, now." Adam whispered to the three youngest. They pushed the Dooley boy away. "There he is."

- "That's the bionic freak!" The youngest sibling yelled as he pointed to Leo.

- "Get him!" The Henderson girl shouted.

- "Arrest him!" Maddie yelled.

- "Freeze, Dooley. You're coming with me." The man grabbed Leo's arm.

- "Note to self, not a fan of the Hendersons and captain Maddie." He said, loudly.

- "Apprehended the suspect." The agent said in his phone.

- "How could you guys turn me in?" The short boy asked, in disbelief.

- "Well, it was easy. We just called that guy." Chase explained.

Perry walked in and hit the agent on the head, with a tray, knocking him on the ground.

- "Hey! Nobody messes with my rollerblading buddy!" She yelled and started attacking him.

She loves to fight in two universes. The Dooley boy thought.

- "Leo, it's hot in the car, and I'm not allowed to use the air conditioning." Donald walked in. "So, are you coming or not?"

That's so funny. The youngest Henderson bit his lips and pointed at the badass principal.

The blue-eyed girl smiled fondly as she looked at her boyfriend.

Leo frowned and pointed at the principal.

- "I used to be a Christmas elf at the Mission Creek Mall. No one cut in Santa's line on my watch. Run!" Perry explained.

The short boy super speeded away and Donald ran away, behind him, confused.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Later, Leo and Donald walked in the mansion.

- "This just does not make sense. The Leo I know would never show his bionics at school." The scientist said.

- "I am not that Leo! I came here from a parallel universe through a wormhole made by your proton fuser!" The short boy yelled.

- "Wait, you were serious about that?" Donald asked.

- "Yeah!" The Dooley boy nodded.

- "Wow. It all makes sense, now." The scientist replied. "Well, don't worry, Leo. As long as you're in my universe, I'll protect you."

Agents appeared from the hallways, the ceiling, stairs, surrounding them. Donald whimpered and fainted.

- "No wonder my mom keeps you in the basement." Leo scoffed.

The agents handcuffed the two to a column.

- "Mr. Dooley, I'm Special Agent Gordon, Department of Homeland Special Ops Unit, also known as, D-H-SOU." The agent explained and showed his badge. The two frowned. "It doesn't acronym well. We don't know how you do what you do, but we're going to find out. Even if it takes ten years in an isolated desert warehouse. Hope you sweat a lot. That's the only water you'll get."

Damn. The short boy's eyes widened.

- "Well, what if I just break out of these?" He asked.

- "We heard you were freakishly strong, so those are exploding handcuffs. Links breaks, handcuffs detonate." Gordon explained.

- "Yeah, could you, uh, explode that way." Donald pointed to the opposite direction and hid behind the column.

- "Get your hands off of me!" Tasha yelled as she was escorted by an agent to the room, handcuffed. "I am Tasha Dooley of Tasha Technologies!"

- "Please don't yell at me, I know I'm in the living room, but, technically, they chained me here." The scientist said, softy.

- "Leo, honey, are you okay?" The mother checked her son. "They haven't hurt you, have they, sweetie?"

Gordon let Tasha towards the door.

- "I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to use my B-I-O-N-I-C-S at school." The Dooley boy replied.

- "We can spell, kid. Well, everyone except for Agent Dorris, here. He likes to sound things out." Gordon explained.

- "He's not bionic, he's just gifted! Right, Leo? You were always discovering something new about yourself." Tasha said. An agent grabbed her. "Watch the suit, or I am telling your boss!"

- "I am his boss." Gordon replied.

- "Then, he's touching my suit!" The mother complained as the agent led her out the front door.

- "Something new about yourself." Donald repeated. "Leo, I think she was trying to tell you to escape using one of your new abilities." He murmured.

- "Hello? Boom-boom bracelets." Leo showed the handcuffs on his wrists.

- "No, I mean one of your newly uploaded abilities. You know, like geo-leaping: Molecularly transferring yourself from one location to another just by thinking about it." The scientist explained, in a whisper.

- "I can geo-leap?" The short boy asked.

- "We... Yeah. I mean, it hasn't been tested yet, so make sure you..." Donald started. The Dooley boy grabbed him and they geo-leaped to the school cafeteria. "Warn me first."

- "Pumpkin?" Perry asked as she walked in. "What are you doing here? This place is still crawling with government goons. Duck and cover!" The two ducked behind the counter, right before two agents walked in. "I'll draw them away, you scram. But if you get caught and end up in the clink, text me. I may not have pull with the governor, but I can drive a hatchback through a cement wall." She whispered.

Never thought I would say that, but Perry is cool. Leo smiled.

- "Hey, the bionic kid is out front stacking school buses! Get him!" The principal yelled at the agents.

The agents ran outside, followed by Perry.

- "This world is not as cool as I thought. I'd give up the bionics, everything, just to get back to my family." The short boy explained.

I want to see them again: Mom, Dee, Claire, Chase, Big D, Bree, Adam, Aunt Janice and Grandma Rose. He thought.

- "I wish I could help you." The scientist sighed.

- "Maybe you can. With your proton fuser!" The Dooley boy exclaimed.

- "Leo, I told you, it will never work. I built it." Donald replied.

- "Listen, you always told me, 'If you have a dream, believe in it'. And it's time for you to believe, Big D." Leo put his hand on the scientist's shoulder.

- "What's a Big D?" He asked. "Even if it did work, how would we get in the lab with all those agents swarming the house?"

- "You see, this is where flying would come in handy." The short boy replied.

- "Where are you, little guy?" Chase asked from the hallway. Leo and Donald hid behind a table when the Henderson siblings and Maddie walked in. "Keep looking, he could be anywhere."

- "And while we're at it, why don't we look within ourselves for answers to questions that we're afraid to ask?" Adam questioned.

- "Your brother gets weirder every day." The blue-eyed girl said to her boyfriend.

An Adam is still an Adam. The Dooley boy thought.

- "Tell me about it." The green hazel-eyed boy scoffed.

- "This is so ridic." Bree said. He's not here. Ooh, maybe he's at the mall."

- "We're not going to the mall!" The two brothers, simultaneously, replied.

The sister pouted.

- "We're gonna have to geo-leap!" The Dooley boy whispered.

- "Okay, fine, just you have to give me some..." Leo grabbed Donald and they geo-leaped on the circular bench in the school hallway. "Warning!"

- "I thought 'Lab'. This ain't the lab." The short boy said.

- "I think my kidneys just switched sides." The scientist held his sides. "Your geo-leaping is glitching. I told you it wasn't tested. Now we're sitting ducks!"

- "Time for Plan B. I'll super-speed us home." The Dooley boy replied.

- "I get motion sickness. Is there a Plan C?" Donald asked.

- "No!" Leo frowned.

- "There he is!" The tall guy exclaimed as he walked in with his siblings and the Matthews girl.

- "Yo! The bionic kid's in here!" The youngest Henderson yelled.

Two agents walked in.

- "Thanks a lot, Chase! You're super annoying in two universes." The short boy complained.

What the fuck? Chase frowned.

What the heck? Maddie thought.

The Dooley boy grabbed the scientist and super speeded away.

- "Whoa!" The Hendersons brothers exclaimed, at the same time.

- "Now, can we go to the mall?" Bree asked, happily.

- "Fuck, no." The green hazel-eyed boy said. "I'm going home to make out with my girlfriend." He grabbed the hand of the blushing Matthews girl and walked away with her.

∘₊✧──────✧₊∘

Leo and Donald ran to the mansion, only to be greeted by Gordon and three agents.

- "Aah." The scientist yelled.

- "Okay, men, apprehend the bionic subject. Use any force necessary." Gordon said.

The agents walked towards the short boy.

- "What do we do?" Donald asked, panicked.

- "You heard the man. Use any force necessary." The Dooley boy shot lightning out of his fingers at the agents. One agent grabbed his shoulders from behind, so Leo elbowed him, before throwing him across the room. The two other agents grabbed the short boy, who hit both of them in the stomach, before making them crash against each other and throwing them across the room, with his super speed. "Oh, yeah!"

- "Quick, get downstairs!" The scientist yelled.

The two walked over the agents on the floor and ran to the lab.

- "We don't have much time, fire up the proton fuser." Leo ordered.

- "Ta-da!" Donald unveiled his invention. The short boy gestured to him to move. "Okay. Now, I would feel a lot better about this if you would sign some release forms."

- "Push! Buttons!" The Dooley boy yelled.

The scientist fired up the proton fuser, but it fizzled out. Agents stared to come through the elevator.

- "See? Told you. It doesn't work." He said.

- "Well, make it work!" Leo super speeded over the commands and closed the lab doors.

- "Can't some dreams just die?" Donald asked.

- "It took a while for the wormhole to reach full size." The short boy replied.

- "That sounds like a volume threshold problem. I can tweak that!" The scientist exclaimed.

- "Well, what are you waiting for? Tweak!" The Dooley boy answered.

- "Oh!" Donald tapped on the controls and the wormhole increased in size.

- "That's it. You're doing it." Leo smiled.

- "Wow. Something I made actually works!" The scientist said, emotionally.

The agents started to bang and pried open the door.

- "Wait, if I leave, what'll happen to you?" The short boy asked.

- "Both universes will reset to the instant you left. None of this will have ever happened!" Donald explained. "Except, I'm gonna start believing in myself."

- "Good. Bring it in." The Dooley said.

They hugged, tightly.

- "Thanks, Leo. I'd tell you I'll never forget you, technically, that..." The scientist started. Leo gestured that he understood. "Yeah. You just...all right. Go, Leo. It's now or never. Aah!" The agents got through the doors and the short boy jumped into the wormhole before they could grab him.

Universe 124

Leo jumped into the lab.

- "Hello?" He asked as he looked around the lab.

He ran upstairs.

In the living room, the movie had just ended. They were, all, crying at the death of the dog.

- "I was so attached to that dog." Adam said, with tears in his eyes.

Maddie was wiping the tears on her cheeks. Chase put his hands on her shoulders to comfort her.

Leo ran into the room and spotted Agent Gordon.

- "Ahh!" He held up his hands.

- "Relax, Leo. That's Gordon. He's my new head of corporate security." Donald explained.

- "Well, hey there, little buddy! Nice to meet you." Gordon shook the short boy's hand. "Aah!" He mocked the Dooley boy.

- "So happy to see you guys!" Leo hugged his mother, tightly.

- "Oh! Nice to see you in a better mood." Tasha replied, smiling. "Now, put that energy into your chores."

- "Absolutely! I will never complain about my chores ever again." The short boy said. "It's so good to be home!"

- "What?" The alien girl frowned.

- "Good to be home? Where did you go?" Bree asked.

- "A parallel universe!" The Dooley boy explained. "Mom was a tech mogul, Chase was an annoying jock, Bree was a shallow mall rat, Dee was the cheerleading squad's captain and Adam was all introspective and philosophical."

Wow. Now, he'll know the weirdness of going in another universe. The Matthews girl thought.

- "You don't have to make up words, Leo, just tell us what happened." Adam replied.

- "It was real, you gotta believe me!" Leo exclaimed.

- "I believe you." Maddie got up from the couch and hugged her childhood best friend.

She believes him for Marcus, for sure. The genius boy smiled.

- "I believe you, too." The Matthews woman smiled.

- "You know what? I believe you, Leo." The father said.

- "You do?" The short boy looked at the three, surprised and happy.

- "Yeah. Anywhere your mom is a tech mogul is definitely an alternate universe." The scientist chuckled. His wife looked at him, offended. "I mean, you're very smart. It's just not what tech..." He tried to defend himself. "I'll be doing the dishes." He walked away.

- "Mm-hmm." Tasha nodded.

- "I swear he's trying to get murdered." Claire shook her head.

- "Weirdest part: Chase and Dee were dating!" The Dooley boy exclaimed.

- "What?" The two geniuses replied, simultaneously, in disbelief.

The youngest Davenport blushed slightly.

The Davenport girl laughed loudly. The tall guy grinned widely. The mothers smirked.

- "I swear. Well, not at first, they had broken up. I don't why, but at the end of the day, they had made up and were back together." Leo explained. "Also, Chase cursed all the time and Dee never."

Chase is my boyfriend in another universe. The blue-eyed girl smiled widely.

- "That's so weird." She chuckled.

In this 'parallel universe', she's my girlfriend. The green hazel-eyed boy smiled as his cheeks reddened more.

- "I can't imagine you curse." Maddie said.

- "I can't imagine you not cursing." Chase replied.

The Matthews girl rolled her eyes, amused.

- "I already know he's touching her ass when they kiss. I'm just grateful I didn't see them make out, too." The short boy shuddered, in disgust.

- "Oh my god." The alien girl whispered, chuckling.

Kiss her? My hands on her butt? Oh, gosh. The genius boy looked away from his best friend and hid his face in his hands.

Everyone laughed at the Dooley's boy comment.

Later, the father was showing the bionic trio his newest invention.

- "Oh, so what does this toy do?" Adam asked.

- "Let's hope it cures boredom." Bree sighed, loudly.

- "It's not a toy. This is my new cell replicator. With it, we can map any organism's DNA and replicate any creature, living or dead." Donald explained.

Leo walked in.

- "Again. Isn't that dangerous?" Chase questioned.

The short boy frowned at his brother's question, in worry and slowly, walked away.

- "Yes, technically, I mean, it could, uh, reintroduce a dormant disease that we have no ability to combat, but, I mean, the chances of..." The father started, but was interrupted by the Dooley boy.

- "No!" Leo grabbed a mallet and started smashing the invention, several times. His family looked at him, with wide eyes. "No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Bad! No! Not! Again!" He sighed and walked away.

Wow. The genius boy thought.

- "Well, that cured my boredom." The bionic girl chuckled.
