Don’t be too shocked when you don’t recognise me anymore.

Not the kind of explosion where nothing gets left behind, wiped out of existence.

But the kind of destruction from which a new galaxy forms.

A phoenix from the ashes.

A brand new beginning.

A clear slate.

A whole new person.

One that you never even knew was sleeping inside of me.

Because let me tell you.

One can only take so much Heartbreak,
Emptiness,
Lies, and
Pain.

You try.

Try your best to keep it all bottled and put on a brave smile for the world to see.

But you eventually reach that breaking point when your heart starts to give off warning signals.

And that day, there will be no turning back.

You’ll all wonder where that naive, sweet, hopeful girl went.

And I’ll break the news to you that she’s never coming back.

Because she’s Dead.
