The Search
*Eliza's POV*
"Fuck. Peggy!" I called and ran after her, only to see that she's more than half way down the road.
Fuck, Eliza. Good job.
I paced around in the hallway for a bit before going downstairs.
In a frantic panic, I called "Peggy ran away. It's all my fault."
I paced around more, running my hand through my hair. "God damn it! I was so insensitive." I said, waiting for an answer from anyone.
I was only disappointed to hear no one speak up.
I shook my head at them. "Wow, your mentally unstable daughter just ran off and none of you care?!" I shook my head and turned to Angelica.
"What about you? Do you even care? Or is your ego too big?"
Angelica looked at me, with a blank expression.
I sighed and shook my head, running out of the house.
----
After an hour of searching by myself, I finally decided to call someone. I pulled out my phone and looked through my contacts. I stumbled upon Alexander's number. I clicked his contact and gave him a call.
"Hello?"
"Alex, it's me. Peggy ran off and my family won't help me look for her and I- can you help me?"
"Yeah, yeah, of course, swing by my place and we can go, okay?"
"Okay, I'll be there soon." I said and ended the call, rushing to Alexander's place.
----
I frantically knocked on Alexanders door, waiting for him to answer.
When he opened the door, he was eating a pudding cup.
What the- I thought before shaking my head.
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Eating my pudding!" Alexander said with a smile.
I shook my head and grabbed his spoon, hitting him on his head with it.
"Come on, pudding can wait. We need to find my sister." I said and grabbed his hand.
---
We searched day and night, with no luck. It was 11pm when we finally stopped looking.
"What if- what if we never find her?" I asked, crying into Alexanders shoulder.
"Ssssh. Hey, we'll find her okay? We will. I promise." He reassured me and rubbed my back.
"Let's get some rest, yeah?" He said as we started walking back to my house.
*Oh snap, where's Peggy? How are you guys liking this so far? I'm sorry to say, but I've deleted 'Just Friends, Right?' Because I lost my muse for it and it wasn't what I wanted it to be. However, I am going to be working on a Janthony (Jasmine X Anthony) book soon! So keep your eyes open! - Matthew.*
