*a phone call*

"Hello, Catherine Schuyler? This is Nurse Amanda from New Jersey General Hospital. I'm calling in regards to your daughter A-"

"Peggy? You found my baby? Is she okay?!" Catherine asked frantically.

"Mrs. Schuyler, I'm talking about your daughter Angelica. She was brought in about an hour ago from a car accident." Amanda spoke softly.

"Angelica? I- I don't think I follow. Angelica is on a trip in Montana, how- how is she in New Jersey?"

"I don't have the answer for that, ma'am, but I'd like to discuss the extent of your daughters injuries."

Catherine put her head in her hands and sat down, sighing.

"Mrs. Schuyler, Angelica has suffered very serious injuries. Her body is 72% covered in second and third degree burns, she is in intensive care. She also has very serious head and brain trauma. Several bones are broken, and she isn't responsive to touch on her legs. We suspect temporary paralysis. I'm sorry to report that she is unconscious."

There was a moment of silence before Catherine broke into tears.

"Mrs. Schuyler, we strongly suggest coming."
