"Wahoooo!" Jacob yells. I roll my eyes. He turns and mimics my expression. I'd like to say that it looks nothing like me, but, as my twin brother, he basically looks exactly like me 24/7. We were playing foosball in our game room in the attic. He's under the impression that he has to act like a moron gorilla every time he wins. "Jacob! Josh!" Mom calls from downstairs. Jacob glances at me over his shoulder and raises his eyebrows with a smile. "Race you," he blurts, before practically tumbling down the stairs. I laugh, shake my head, and go downstairs after him.

We arrive downstairs. Mom's smile is large and gummy, and her short blonde hair is up in a bun. She's been baking again. Uh-oh. "You know how the Chens moved out three years ago?" We nod. Three years ago, our next-door neighbors the Chens moved back to Korea. Their house is still vacant. "Well, someone finally bought the house! The Wilsons are lovely! Just lovely! They have a daughter your age. We're going to welcome them, so get dressed." She glances at Jacob, who is only wearing his underwear and a tee shirt. "Fine," he moans.
