I look down and mutter, "I might have accidentally told Bree one of Shay's biggest secrets!"

Bree Collar is the queen of our school. She tries to get dirt on literally everybody. She hadn't yet on Shay. Then, Josh helped her. I get why she's mad. "Jacob! Josh!" Mom calls. I glance at Josh, raise my eyebrows, and smile. I open my mouth and he darts down the stairs. Shit.

We arrive downstairs. He wins. Mom is staring at the counter. "I'm going to a work dinner, and I'm not letting you two stay at home alone again, especially after what happened last time." Long story short, we almost blew up the house. "You're staying with the Wilsons." I glance at Josh and wince. Poor guy.
