Let me tell y'all y I haven't updated this story in so long:

1. I thought the story was terrible but y'all supportive comments gave me new hope.

2. I wanted to get my other story (Stranger Things) to the same amount of chapters as this one, but I felt compelled to write y'all another chapter..

Persona opened the door and walked into the living room. She threw herself on the couch from utter exhaustion.

She listened to a door open and heard Yugi running down the stairs.

"PERSONA! YOUR BACK!" He shouted enthusiastically.

She smiled warmly at him, excited to see her closest friend.

"Yugi! It's good to see you again"

She sat up and he gave her a tight embrace, "Yugi I-"

"HEY, WE'RE BACK TOO!!!"

They steadied their gazes to the door and saw Atem and Yami with four brown bags.

"You guys went shopping?"

"Well Atem did," he turned towards Atem and gave him a stern look, "I hope you didn't steal these!"

Atem didn't say anything and just rolled his eyes. Yami sighed and they both went straight to the kitchen.

When they put down the bags Yami shot Atem a dirty look.

"Why would you steal from the humans again!?" He crossed his arms and continued eyeing Atem.

"Who said I stole anything? You just keep on assuming thi-"

"I don't need to assume I know you Atem!" Yami took a deep breath and calmed himself before continuing, "You need to stop hanging out with Duke. You're starting to attain some of his bad habits"

Atem closed the fridge and started at Yami with an exasperated look and his eyes flashed a blood red.

"Do you think you're my mom or something!? You might be the older twin but you don't have authority over me!"

Yami was about to retaliate, he was going to tell Atem how wrong he was but realized that his attempt to talk sense into his brother was futile.

Not only was Atem arrogant and smug, but he was also a person who lived in the moment and never thought about the consequences.

Yami silenced himself due to Atem's nature and that two nosy individuals were spying on them.

Persona and Yugi ran back into the living room when Yami glared their way.

They decided to talk about the cruise and how they snuck two vampires onto a famous cruise ship.

A little while later the twins came out of the kitchen and neither of them was irritated or upset.

Persona took this as a sign that they had come to an agreement. She remembered a guy Yami had mentioned and was curious about who it was.

"Yami who's Duke?"

Yami and Atem exchanged glances, they knew that they couldn't keep any secrets from persona.

Yami decided to tell her, "He's an old friend. He went to the village bloodbath, and told us that he lost track of a... very attractive girl," They both blushed and looked at persona.

"He was talking about me?"

"I'm pretty sure he was referring to you since we didn't see anyone else running from the village," Atem sighed and looked out the window, hating the sun for draining his power.

Persona shuffled uncomfortably, twiddling with her fingers. Yugi realized something was on persona's mind and rubbed her back.

Yami hated the silence and decided to bring up something ANYTHING to hear persona's voice.

"So how did you and Yugi become 'best friends'?"

Yugi pouted and looked at persona but quickly concealed it with a fake smile.

Persona ran the memory through her head she could never forget....

------FLASHBACK------

"PERSONA!" Joey called searching through the forest for his lost friend.

"Persona!" Yugi shouted as he stayed close to Joey, the unwary silence and darkness scaring him.

They heard shuffling and ran towards the sound. They were surprised when they saw persona's hands tied and a witch approaching her.

"Finally the last one, you'll never warn your village now," The witch cackled.

Joey ran towards the witch, tackling her to the ground and grabbing the knife she was holding. Yugi ran to free persona, untying her speedily and grabbed her hand.

He tried to run but his foot got stuck under the tree roots and he fell pulling Persona along with him .

Joey stood up, knife in hand and ran towards persona and Yugi. The witch stood up and glared at the group.

"You! You dark interfere with shadow creatures!"

She held her hand up and a stick with a floating purple ball on top appeared in her palm. She aimed it towards persona and smirked.

"If I can't kill you, I'LL CURSE YOU!"

She closed her eyes and chanted under her breath. Joey stood protectively in front of them in case of any sudden attacks.

She opened her eyes and smirked, a black smoke engulfing her. When the smoke dissipated she was gone.

They all walked back to the forest and questioned the sudden series of events.

------FLASHBACK END------

Tears pricked persona's eyes, "Suddenly boys were asking me out and I never got a break. Then news of my witch encounter got out and then a rumor that I was cursed followed," She used the palm of her hand to wipe the tears that were cascading down her face.

"Boys started avoiding me and all my male friends grew distant until we never talked," She glanced at Yugi and smiled.

"Yugi was the only boy who would stay around me before I thought that maybe it didn't work on him, but I guess I'm still cursed."

Atem wanted to say something but wasn't sure if persona would take it well. Yami, on the other hand, wanted and needed her to know something important.

"Persona... When Atem and I first smelled you we knew you weren't human," Persona gave him a confused expression before he continued.

"You acted like a human so we thought that it was nothing, but now with this new information I or rather we know what you are."

"Are you saying Persona's not human?" Yugi said stunned.

"Yes, he is. Due to our experience and knowledge of other kinds of undead creatures or demons, we know what kind you are."

Persona stared at them in disbelief, 'I'm not human?!'. Yami was about to speak until a loud bang was heard in the house.

Everyone except Yugi ran upstairs to investigate the noise, Yami and Atem, being faster, ran ahead of Persona.

When they reached the source of the sound, which was Atem's room. Yami opened the door hastily, they scanned the room until Persona recognized a familiar white fabric on the floor peeking out from under the bed.

She walked towards it pulling at it until she eventually pulled Kaiba from under the bed.

"KAIBA! How did you get in here!"

He smirked and put his hands behind his back, she noticed in the corner of my eye that Diva was sneaking out through the window.

Atem and Yami also saw and went to confront him until Kaiba threw a potion at them, but Persona blocked it and the liquid seeped into her skin.

Kaiba cursed internally and used the distraction to escape with Diva. Atem and Yami went to Persona and checked to see if anything was wrong with her.

She didn't feel any kind of pain but she felt a tooth had grown and now was poking outside of her mouth.

They noticed this and decided to finish their sentence from earlier.

"Persona, you're a succubus." Yami and Atem said in unison.

Persona looked at them shocked, she couldn't believe that she wasn't human. That witch had cursed her.

She still didn't know what being a succubus meant and wondered if they could tell her anything else.

Expect an update when my other story reaches 15 chapters lol it wait now 16 sad
