First, I deeply apologize for disappearing for a long time. I appreciate the people who stuck around this long and sent me sweet messages. I also would like to say sorry to my new readers who were disappointed after finding out about the second book. Brace yourself for long paragraphs that will sound like excuses even though they're true and some sad news.

For the last couple months in my senior year of high school, I became busy with fulfilling the requirements for graduation. I really didn't have much time to write and when I did it was complete crap 😥. I don't like reading crappy updates from other authors so I figured you guys won't like my half-assed attempts as well. I also didn't want to write anything that would be hard to fix later.

After that, I got caught up in college entrance exams and interviews during the summer. I promised myself I'd begin writing again during the school year. HA! I didn't expect my course to demand my most of my attention. And so I spent most of my hours studying. I was too tired to write and I even contemplated switching to scifi instead of high fantasy.

(Also forgot my password for a while there and I couldn't remember the email I used to confirm the account so I was lost---the naivety of my14 year-old self)

With this pandemic (I hope everyone's safe and healthy) I'm finally starting to get my groove back. And I have to be honest, I reread the first book and I cringed inside at my 16 year-old self. I've been thinking of improving the characters (I found myself annoyed at some of them---guess who) and scrapping chapters and putting in new ones. Said changes will affect the following books and thus...

I won't be able to continue the story at this time. One day I will, and it will have less wholes and even more relatable and lovable characters.

This series is my favorite out of all the ones I've written since I was 13. I'd love to get it published one day. So I want it to be at its very best. I'll be rewriting book 1 and make lots of changes in book 2.

Once again, I deeply apologize to you Draeyers and for taking such a long time to get in touch with you all. I hope you understand my need to imporve this story and I meet you all again in a comment section of the chapters I'm going to put up.

Feel free to be disappointed and rage and call me names. But know this, I'm not quitting on this story.
