I can't help but thinking about Shawn. I really hope he's okay. I mean, ever since I left, he hasn't made any covers, any public appearances. I don't know what to think.

"Hey, Y/N, get back to work!" My boss says. I get up and continue my work.

Once work was over, I headed home. But on the way, I saw Shawn's house. I stared at it blankly for maybe about 5 minutes. Oh I should go check on him. I can't just ignore him forever. Maybe we could start a friendship.

I drive up his driveway, get out of my car, and head towards the door.

I rang the doorbell, no answer, no footsteps. I ring it one more time, still no answer, still no footsteps. Finally, the third time I rang it, he answered.

"Go the fuck away I do not want to talk!" He says. I sigh.

"Please Shawn, I want to make sure you're okay." I say.

"Y/N?" He says. He walks to the door and opens it.

"Hey there." I say, once he opens it. He smiles big.

"Oh you came back!" He says. He starts crying and grasps me in a hug.

"Shawn, are you okay?" I ask. I hear sniffles.

"Oh god. I missed you so much. I missed your smile. I missed your wonderful eyes that made me just, melt inside. I missed your sex! I missed everything." I look at him confused.

"But now you're back. I love you Y/N! I love you!" He says, embracing me in another hug. I smelled his breath. It smelt like beer. Is he drunk?

"Oh Shawn no. I came to make sure you're okay." I say, though I know he isn't at all okay.

"Wait, so you're not here to stay?" He says. I see tears forming. Oh my he's a mess.

"No Shawn. I left you for a reason. I just don't want to see you hurt." I say. His tears start rolling down his cheeks. I feel bad.

"Y/N, I love you. I love you so much. Please." His voice cracked on the "please".

"Shawn I'm sorry. I left you for a reason." I say, I start walking away. I felt like crying as well. Seeing him cry made me want to cry. I felt my heart break just watching that.

But then I thought, I felt my heart break. I normally don't feel that pain with anyone, but seeing him like that, made me want to cry. Especially because it was over me. I turn around. He was standing there, face red, tears flooding his face.

I start walking back to him, then running. I stop when I'm inches away from his face.

"I love you Y/N." He says, then leans in for a kiss. I kissed him. It was like our first kiss. I've fallen in love with him, all over again. The Sparks lifted, I felt as if I could just fall. I felt jitters go up my spine and butterflies flood my stomach.

"I love you too Shawn."
