Shawn's P.O.V:
I knock on the door in front of me. I look at the time on my phone: 5:03. I was supposed to come to Tara's apartment at 5:00 so we could talk about my contract. After a few more seconds the door finally opens. "Hey Shawn!" Tara says smiling. She opens her arms pulling me into a hug.

"Hey Tara." I say in return.

"Come on in. Come on in." She motions me in and I follow her, taking a seat in her kitchen. Her apartment was very nice, it wasn't small but it also wasn't too large. "So how was the honeymoon Shawn?"

"It was good, it was good. We had a lot of fun. I actually need to talk to you about something that happened."

"Is everything ok?" she asked seriously. Tara had brown hair and very nice cheek bones. For being such an attractive woman, it always surprised me that she was all alone.

"Everything is fine... I hope. It's just that Cameron kind of found out about my.... um...... possibility of leaving MAGCON." She made a disappointed face at me.

"Shawn I thought you could handle keeping it a secret. What if he tells Bart or any of the other CEOs and something bad happens?"

"Nothing bad is going to happen Tara. Cameron is my husband and I trust him. He loves me to much to lie to me."

"Are you sure about that Shawn?"

"Tara you can question me about anything you want, but not my husband. Cameron is the love of my life and anything you tell me I can tell him. We have no secrets between us."

"Is that what you think Shawn?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you honestly think that there are no secrets between you? That he's not keeping something from you?"

"I know for a fact he's not. Why are you asking me anyways?"

"Oh no reason." She looks in the other direction taking a sip of her coffee.

"Tara you're lying. Tell me!"

"It's nothing Shawn."

"Tara seriously!" I wanna know what she has to say.

"Fine Shawn. I just might know a little secret Cameron is keeping from you that you might be a little interested in." What is she talking about?

"You're just trying to trick me Tara." I say not believing her.

"Ok Shawn. I guess I won't tell you." She takes another drink of her coffee, looking away and smiling.

"What are you talking about Tara?"

"Oh nothing Shawn. You won't believe me anyways, just forget it."

"No I wanna know. If it's about my husband then I want to know."

"Well Shawn I don't know how accurate this information is but I'm pretty sure it's true. I was told that Cameron might also be leaving MAGCON." She takes another drink of her coffee.

"Why would he be leaving MACGON?" I ask. She couldn't possibly be right could she?

"I was told he tried out for an acting role and if he got it he'd have to travel to New Zealand for 3 or 4 months for filming. Right around the time that the next tour is scheduled to start."

"There's no way this is true. He would of told me. We tell each other everything, especially something like this. I would be so happy for him if he actually did."

"Well all I know is what the director I talked to confirmed. I don't know if he got the part, just that he tried for it. But let's stop talking about him and start talking about you. We are meeting with Island Records tomorrow. First thing's first, if it comes down to it which is more important in your eyes, your music career or your involvement in MAGCON?" Well I love both, but music is my passion. Music was and is my dream and I can't just leave my dreams for MAGCON. I can't leave my dreams for anything......

"Well of course I love MAGCON and my music career but I would have to pick my music. It's been my passion nearly my whole life."

"That's good. I was going to suggest that." She reaches over into her bag and pulls out her laptop. She opens it and begins typing. "Here are some numbers I was looking at." She turns the laptop around so I can see the screen. She points to one graph. "This is your expected estimated average income if you stay with MAGCON." I look at the graph. My income was nice and steady, at a nice pace. It's expected to level off in two or three years though.

"Ok now show me what it would be if I pursued my music career?" She moves the mouse clicking on a link. The graph I'm looking at now shows a much nicer looking increase. My income rises and rises and rises for close to the next 5-10 years! Millions and millions of dollars. So not only would I be living my dreams but I'd be making millions doing it.

"And before you question my data I had a few professionals over view it to see the validity of the data. Their analysis showed that these numbers are the closest to guessing what your annual income would actually be. These number may even be less than the actual income." Wow.

"Ok so how long am I going to be signed on again when I sign this contract?"

"Well Shawn, they want you to sign on for 5 years. The first time you signed on was 7 years but they lowered it down to 5. Nothing bad there, just figuring in that you'll probably want to go out on your own eventually."

"Ok so it sounds like we've made up our minds on what I'm gonna do."

"It sounds like it."

"So what time is our meeting tomorrow?"

"I can pick you up at your place at noon."

"Are you sure Tara?"

"Yes Shawn." she says laughing. "And just an FYI they'll probably only want you and me there." What about Cameron.

"So no Cameron?"

"Sorry Shawn but I think it'd be better if it was just us."

"Well ok." She's my manager. I can trust her. She knows what is and isn't good for me. And I don't really need Cameron there, I just wanted his support but it's ok. "And these rumors you told me about how true do you think they are on a scale of 1-10?"

"I'd say about 9 Shawn." Wow. What if she was telling the truth? Could Cameron be keeping a secret from me?
