Chapter 14

Pretending to be innocent girls had worked on the SWAT team, but it wouldn't on the SHIELD team who were currently handcuffing Lulu. So neither of the girls had tried, they'd both known the risks of the plan, and were more than prepared to take the consequences.

An hour later, Willow Dariela was in a SHIELD confinement cell, staring angrily at a wall; one of her hands had been handcuffed to the wheelchair. What did SHIELD think she was going to do, stand up and walk away? The door opened slowly, and Tony Stark walked in, "Good Morning Willow. You've been busy."

Willow pushed down the rising anger and stared levelly at Tony, "What are you doing here Stark?"

"Hunting down a criminal. One you and your angry buddy have been helping to hide."

"If you think Steve Rogers is a criminal, your even stupider than you look," Willow sneered.

"Listen Willow, right now I'm your best option. Either you can tell me where Rogers is or I can turn you over to SHIELD for interrogation."

"Sorry, still not interested."

"Dariela, I'm trying to help you."

"Do you even hear yourself when you talk? Look at you, the great Tony Stark. That's all you can do, is talk. Words are all you have left, because in the grand scheme of things, your powerless. You don't matter, none of this does. In a few hundreds years all that will be left of you will be a few documents, and maybe some dust." Willow stared at Tony, her eyes cold. "You've made the mistake of thinking your superior to everyone. But you're still just a scared child."

"How dare you? This is your last chance Dariela!"

Willow continued as though she hadn't heard him, "The great Tony Stark thinks he's beyond reprimand. Who built Ultron? It was you, and maybe I'm stupid, but I feel like you should be behind bars for engineering a homocidal robot."

"This is coming from the woman who currently spends her moments with a mass murderer. Tell me Willow, has your precious Bucky told you about all the people he killed. The innocents he slaughtered; most of whom had families. Barnes is the one who should be in prison. Barnes, He's not a man, he's a monster."

Though Willow's face showed no indication of emotion, Tony's words had struck a nerve. Willow's voice was icy cold, and void of emotion, "I could strangle you."

Stark sneered at her, "You can't reach."

"You've sunk low enough."

"Oh dear, I seem to have touched a nerve. Do you not appreciate someone insulting your little guard dog? Who's fault is it that your in the chair? Oh, that's right. The Winter Soldier."

"Look at you Stark, SHIELD's errand boy. Your parents would be absolutely horrified. Care for a history lesson? Your father, Howard Stark, built the machine that made Steve Captain America. Was your father a nazi?"

Tony gave a shout of rage, and backhanded Willow roughly, nearly knocking her over. Willow could have stopped him, but she didn't. In a way, she felt she deserved it, playing the Howard Stark card was something she hadn't wanted to do.

"You know what Dariela?" Tony spat, "You can join your friend in jail. Your no better than them, I've seen your records. Your a murderer. "

"Ah yes, homicide. My favorite past-time."

"I've read reports on who you used to be, before you joined SHIELD. The ones Steve hasn't even seen, I wonder if you've told your precious Bucky. About the people you killed, how you laughed while you did it. I can't believe you have the nerve to sit there and try and tell me I'm the guilty one. You've got more blood on your hands than Rogers does."

Willow grinned at him, "What can I say? I really put the laughter in manslaughter."

"You aren't leaving this room until I've got the answers I came for."

"Hmmmm, really? I'd like to bet that I'll last longer. I don't age after all, I've got all the time in the world. You don't. But as delightful as the prospect of watching you whither away is, and as much as I've enjoyed our conversation, I simply must dash."

Willow raised a hand and sent Tony flying backwards, and he crashed in the wall. Willow steered her wheelchair around the chunks of cement and Stark's unconscious body.
