Everything was dark and no matter how much I stumbled around that's all there was. I could feel the panic start to rise and my heart rate pick up as i stumbled faster searching for light. A low dark chuckle filled the air and i instant froze as I recognized it.
"Did you miss me darling?? Don't worry I'll be coming for you soon enough," the voice said but then faded away leaving me terrified.

My mouth opened in a silent scream and suddenly my eyes popped open and I was in an unfamiliar room. My panic was still high and I carefully slid off the side of the bed and crawled under it. I had never seen this room before and I had hazy memories of last night.

I calmed down slightly and started to think back about what had happened to me. Suddenly there was a click in my head and everything came rushing back along with my panic. These people were wolves and this could be my end. Like before many questions swirled around my head about these people. I couldn't decide what my fate was couldn't to be and my options were that I was to be abused again, killed, returned to HIM, or they could possibly not harm me??

That as right........ Paul told me that he loved me? I relaxed only slightly but then again he could be lying just like... Him. I closed my eyes as silent tear drifted down my face. I was startled out of my thoughts as the door creaked open slowly from what seemed to be a woman as they pushed their back against it to open while saying "Are you up because I made........ Bella?" The lady was Emily and hurriedly put something down with a clink while calling my name worriedly.

I was hesitant to reveal myself but she seemed to be genuinely worried so I stuck my hand out and grabbed her foot causing her to screech and jump away as I laughed silently. The sounds of someone running up the steps hurriedly reached my ears and I shrunk under the bed more. "What happened!" Sam said in a panic. "I came up to give Bella breakfast and she wasn't there then something from under the bed grabbed my ankle," she says with a slight quiver in her words.

I instantly felt a little guilty not meaning to cause her so much fear. Sam cautiously crouched down to look under the bed at me. "Bella come on out now we aren't going to hurt you," He says sternly, but soothingly. I hesitated then finally crawled out on the other side and peeked over the bed.
"Listen Bella you collapsed from shock last night so we had to bring you to your house, but your brother knows your here and he's going to come get you soon," he tells me slowly. I nod and slowly get up to slide onto the bed.

Suddenly his phone starts to ring scaring the crap out of me and I sit trying to calm my breathing as he answers. "She just woke up." "I don't think it's a good idea if you come and see her" "Fine, fine I'll ask but if she says no you do as she says," he finishes sternly before turning to me and saying, "Paul wants to come see you is that all right?" I pause to think about it then nod slowly. I had hoped I wasn't making a mistake with this. He repeats my answer back into his phone and then hangs up a minute later. "He'll be here In a few minutes and don't you worry you are perfectly safe."

Emily leans over to give me a quick hug as they both stand and leave the room leaving me with my swirling thoughts that I hope would soon die down. I waited quietly for Paul to finally arrive and when he did my breath hitched slightly. I looked over at the glass lamp next to me and made a mental note about what I needed to do if something happened and hopefully Sam and Emily truly care about me enough to save me. He came up the stairs in a rush but thankfully came through the door carefully. "Hey Bella," he said weakly. I gave a small smile in return.

"Listen I'm sorry about what happened yesterday and I didn't mean for things to get so out of hand," he says with guilt shining in his eyes. I sigh and waves him over to sit on the bed and he does so hesitantly. "There was one thing I never got to tell you so can I?" He asks me hopefully. I nod for him to go on and he breaths in a shaky breath and continues. "You obviously believe all the stories right?" He asks and I nod quickly. "Well the story of the imprinting is also true and you......... are my imprint," he tells me smiling brightly.

My mouth pops open in shock and and I point to myself in disbelief. He nods and smiles wider causing a small smile to grow on my face. I was actually luckily enough to have a soul mate??? this explained everything from the fast developing feelings to the strange trust. "There are other people who are imprints like us," he says happily and motion for him to give names. "Well Emily and Sam, Jared and Kim, and a few others," he explains.

I still felt doubts enter my mind and it became a war zone to figure out if I wanted to trust these people and hope I didn't get hurt again. I breathed deeply before making my choice and scooted towards Paul to give him a quick hug and as a I did he pulled me into his lap and enveloped me into his arms gently. I sighed happily deciding for the moment that I chose well and a I hoped that this happiness could stay with me and that HE wouldn't try to rip it away from me.......
