Chapter 5 - I Use Hestia's Weird Chant...
(Percy's POV)
So you know how Chiron told me not to go to the beach?
Well, I defied him, and I've got to say. It wasn't my best choice.
Walking to Athena's cabin after seeing Hestia, I knocked on the door. I heard shuffling and groaning, and was quickly met by Malcolm at the door.
"Hey Malcolm! How are you, dude?" He just grumbled a "Well," in response.
"So, do you know where Annabeth is?"
"The beach. Good luck, because you'll need it!"
"Thanks?" Malcolm slammed the door in my face. I always knew that if you interrupted a child of Athena while they were working, you'd be sorry. But, I didn't know they could act like that!
-Time Skip To Beach-
As I'm walking to the beach to meet Annabeth, I see a Sebastian snogging a blonde girl, and I think nothing of it. I get closer and closer to the couple as I see the girl's facial features.
It's Annabeth.
Dropping the ring, with a thud, I turn and run to my cabin.
I distantly hear Annabeth calling for me to come back, saying she was sorry, but no lie could mix me up from seeing that that girl is a total...
CHEATER!!
Slamming the door behind me, I push my back against the door, and slowly slide to the ground. Curling up into a "ball", I start crying. Then, I see a gold light, and look up.
"Hello father."
"Don't you dare call me that after what you have done! I, Poseidon, hereby disown Perseus Achilles Jackson!"
"Wha-?"
"You have been a disgrace of a son, and you think you are such a hero!"
"But-!"
"No 'Buts'! You have also been banned from being in Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter. Now go!"
I get up, turn, open the door, and run as fast as I can. As soon as I get to where I think is Manhattan, which ends up being Easton, Pensilvania.
Dam! I can run as fast Hermes! Maybe even faster!
Thinking about Hermes, I think of some of the gods and goddesses that wouldn't betray me. I made a mental list of who would and who wouldn't. A/N- Lists Include Minor Gods And Goddesses, As Well As Just Immortals!
Who Would/Did:
-Zeus
-Ares
-Dionysus
-Poseidon (Apparently, NOT MY DAD!)
-Aphrodite
-Hera
-Demeter, because I don't eat enough cereal?
-Amphirptrite
-Triton
-Nike
Who Wouldn't/Didn't:
-Hades
-Hecate
-Hermes
-Apollo
-Artemis
-Persephone
-Hephaestus
-Athena
-Hestia
As soon as I thought of Hestia, I thought of her weird chant. I guess I will have to use it, I said to myself in my head.
"Hestia. Vesta. I need your help, both!"
Suddenly, I saw a golden flash, and felt a pair of warm arms around my body.
The first two sentences I said to her were, "Hello Hestia or Vesta, whoever you are. Who hasn't betrayed me yet, 'cause I was just wondering?"
Dear Readers,
I hope you enjoyed this longer chapter! Tell me any ideas, and answer any questions I may or may not ask! I have to do my part as writing, so you must comment to tell me if I should change anything with my stories!
Thank you!
Lovely Luck,
