At Jungkook's apartment

Namjoon and Jungkook were hanging out because they hadn't seen each other for a while.

Jungkook could tell Namjoon was stressed, but Namjoon wouldn't admit it.

Namjoon wanted to help Jungkook cook. Jungkook knew it was a bad idea but agreed.

Namjoon was peeling and chopping vegetables when Jungkook noticed that he was doing it wrong.

"Hyung, be careful," he said.

Namjoon was startled and caught himself with the peer.

"Ah!" he screamed.

"Hyung, are you okay?" asked Jungkook

Namjoon nodded, but when he saw the blood all over the ingredients, he started crying there and then.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he chanted.

Jungkook was taken back, but he then remembered something his mom used to do for him when he was a small child.

He hugged Namjoon, wrapped a paper towel around his hand, and shushed him softly while leading him to the sette.

"Shh,shh,shh," he said softly.

Namjoon seemed to calm down a little, so Jungkook was even more taken back when he hid his face in his chest.

Jungkook signed and said, "Hyung, I know you're stressed, so what's wrong?"

"I'm just scared, Kookie," said Namjoon, who was now sobbing softly.

"What are you scared of, Hyung?" asked Jungkook softly.

"I'm scared that everyone's going to leave me, you, and the other members  and the Army, and no one will like my solo album," said Namjoon through a sob.

Jungkook held Namjoon tightly and signed," Hyung, I love you; the other members love you; and the Army loves you," he said.

"No one's going to leave you, okay?"

Namjoon looked at Jungkook with red and teary eyes that made Jungkook's heart break, but he had to keep it together this time.

"Promise?" said Namjoon while holding out his pinky finger.

This made Jungkook laugh at Hyung's childishness, and he said, "Promise," while linking Hyung's finger.

"Kookie, I'm sorry about the ingredients," said Namjoon.

"It's okay, Hyung, they wash," smiled Jungkook.

Namjoon nodded but still looked sad.

Jungkook had an idea.

"Hyung, if you stop crying, I'll take you to the beach after dinner," he said with a smile.

Namjoon looked at him and said, "Jungkook, are you really trying to blide me? I'm not a child," with a face of being insulted.

Jungkook laughed "I'm sorry, how about we go after dinner?" he winked as he continued. "I'll even help you find crabs and get you ice cream."

Namjoon looked and said, "Crab-catching and ice cream? He asked

Jungkook nodded. "Chocolate ice cream is your favourite," he said.

Namjoon nodded. "Deal," he said as he wiped his face with his hand.

Jungkook giggled at Hyung's cuteness and went to fetch him a washcloth.

"Here you go, Hyung; wipe your tears," he said with a smile.

Namjoon wiped his face and said, "Thank you, Kookie."

Jungkook grinned and said, "Your welcome, Hyung."

After dinner, Jungkook kept his promise and took Namjoon to the beach, helped him find crabs, and brought him ice cream.

Jungkook decided that telling anyone about Namjoon's episode was not in anyone's interest, so it would stay between him and Namjoon.

If anyone else had Namjoon like that, that was between them, and Jungkook was sure that it wouldn't be the last time Namjoon cried from stress.
