Cranefrost's p.o.v

"Shadowclan, ATTACK!"

That's Cranefrost and Jackalflame heard when they came back to Thunderclan. Everything erupted into chaos. Thunderclan cats sprung and leapt  and Shadowclan dark warriors.

"I'm sorry, I have to defend my clan!" Cranefrost shouted at Jackalflame. Jackalflame gave Cranefrost a reassuring nod and they separated ways.

Cranefrost targeted the deputy- a large tom-cat called Shadeclaw. She had the element of surprise, as Shadeclaw was fighting Clearpaw. Cranefrost jumped on him and Clearpaw gave her a grateful glance.

Where's Snowpaw?  Cranefrost thought. She scanned the battle but she couldn't see the familiar white snowy fur of her littermate. 

Over the battle, Cranefrost fought more and more Shadowclan warriors. She couldn't count how many Shadowclan warriors with icy fur lay on the ground, shivering.

I could do this all day, thought Cranefrost, but when will they surrender? Clearly we're  overpowering them!

Cranefrost heard 'Shadowclan, fall back!' And the enemy warriors defended. Aldercoat and Songpaw ran around, treating everyone and helping with the wounds. But then, something terrible happened. Shadowclan came back with another patrol.

They seemed ready to fight and they ran at the Thunderclan camp with such speed and strength that Cranefrost actually found it scary. But not for long.

"Redstar! Shadowclan outnumber us but I can gather up a group of cats that are allies!" She offered.

"Go!" Redstar urged. Cranefrost nodded and ran toward the Twolegplace.

"Bubbles! Bubbles! We need your warriors! Shadowclan is attacking us! Please help!" Cranefrost shouted as soon as she got to Bubbles' camp.

"Hunters! Come on! We have to help Cranefrost!" Bubbles called.

"Thank you so much," Cranefrost panted. Then, she and all of the hunters from Bubbles' group ran towards the Thunderclan camp, ready for battle.

When they got there, the battle had already begun. Thunderclan cats were hissing, had bristled fur and blood-stained teeth. They fought as courageous and strong as Lionclan cats, but Shadowclan was outnumbering them easily.

"HUNTERS ATTACK!' Bubbles shouted. And 40 warriors leapt into the battle.

Suddenly, a huge dark warrior leapt on Cranefrost, and everything went dark.

Snowpaw's p.o.v

She'd gone to the Dark Warriors' group early in the morning, but when she arrived, Snipe had a far away look in her eyes. Finally, she had told Snowpaw to go back to Thunderclan camp and make her leader proud. At the time, Snowpaw had no idea what she meant. 

But now, standing over the corpses of many dead warriors from both Shadowclan and Thunderclan, and seeing what destruction the clans had done made Snowpaw realise. 

She leapt into the battle, happy that finally she could try out the battle moves that Snipe had demonstrated the day before.

The sky was dark and Snowpaw knew that Starclan didn't approve of the battle- but that didn't stop Snowpaw. She was going to impress her clan, her leader, and everyone who ever doubted her. She spotted Talonclaw fighting a huge, broad framed warrior and jumped in, slashing the warriors face, then flank with her needle-sharp claws. The Shadowclan enemy yelped and turned around, running back to his camp.

Now that Snowpaw had become part of the Dark Warriors, and Snipe had especially taken interest in her, Talonclaw wasn't mean to her anymore- in fact, he was quite the opposite. Snowpaw even was beginning to like him! 

Talonclaw looked down to Snowpaw with an impressed look and said, "I'll ask Redstar after the battle if you can have your warrior assessment- you're certainly ready for it!"

Snowpaw jumped up and down like a tiny kit. She was going to become a warrior!

This made Snowpaw fight even faster and even fiercer. She was going to be a warrior. These cats would surrender because of her. She was going to be a warriors. That's what run through her head as she fought Shadowclan cats twice the size of  her.

This time, Shadowclan warriors retreated for real. Their leader had lost a life, and they were too injured to go back to battle. Thunderclan warriors cheered as they watched SHadowclan run back to their territory, tails high in the air.

Once all warriors were treated, including the mysterious group that Cranefrost had lead over, Redstar made an announcement.

"Cats of Thunderclan! You all fought exceptionally well, leading Shadowclan away! Talonclaw has told me that Snowpaw is ready for her warrior assessment, and in my opinion, so is Clearpaw, Fallingpaw, Twigpaw and Shypaw! They all fought like warriors. We must thank the Hunters that Cranefrost lead here, if it weren't for you, the battle would've ended way more quickly and not in the same result as this!" Redstar yowled.

Bubbles leapt onto the rock which Redstar was addressing the clan.

"We promise to be your allies. Cranefrost came and told us about the Dark Warriors which were harming you. Well, the Dark Warriors  have been injuring our camp too. We will team up with you and fight hard. That battled was unnecessary- we should not be tithing other clans- they are our allies, after all! We have to focus on the big new enemy and get together. We will go back to camp now and rest. Call us back when yo are ready!" Bubbles answered, bowing his head. Then, him and the rest of his hunters trotted back through thee forest and to their camp. 

"Cranefrost has been knocked out but she will get better soon. We owe her a big thank you and apology for finding us allies."

Clearpaw started the chant.

"Cranefrost!"

"Cranefrost!"

"Cranefrost!"

Snowpaw felt a bit of jealousy- they should be chanting her name, not a fallen warriors!

After the battle, Clearpaw came up to Snowpaw.

"I saw you come to camp. I saw where you came from. You're a traitor." She spat. Snowpaw's fur bristled and her back arched.

"I have my reasons of going to places. Why were you spying on me?"

Not waiting for an answer, Snowpaw slunk away into the shadows. Thunderclan was treating her so unfairly!
